Alright so we've all been [ most of us ] a part of this for a long time. Good members were lost, some stayed around until it all finally died out. Ironically what I remember best from all the old members were not their personalities or nice attitudes, but the legacy of their characters. The legacy of their presence in our created world, whether you wanna call it the SRPG or WOTN world, it stays the same. From the very beginning, the expansion of villages, the Bloodhawk, Sound 3, Grass War, Ekiminshuu battle, intense rivalries, countless Chuunin exams, the Jounin exams, Battle of Matsuro and even the newer ones which I haven't been a part of. Our very own story; which brings me to the topic of this thread [ finally, right? ]. What are your favorite moments? If I ask you, what are your best memories from SRPG/WOTN, story-wise, which ones would you say? I wanna hear this, did we make a decent spin-off? Favorite rival, fight, moment, event, character, most hated character, coolest jutsus, coolest bloodline, shed it all. If you post, I wanna see a huge one. We can pretty much carry the thread after that.

So, let's hear it.

Awesome
wow, where do I even begin? There has been so much that happened that I can barely recall most of it.

Without a doubt my favorite event was the Grass War, it was just so fun. The Ekiminshuu event was a close second, I also had a great time doing Jagganath.

My favorite fight......wow thats hard. I enjoyed watching Tenma and Seisho duke it out in their grudge match, as well as fighting both Kisuke and Ed during the grass war. I still remember very specifically my fight with Masahiro Kaito during my very first chuunin exam. I recently re-read my fight as Kuro against Seth's Hissori, and the memories of how much fun we both had doing that fight came back to me. While I am not too fond of my last fight with Kisuke because of how much strain it put on our relationship at the time, looking back I am glad to see that we did not let such an intense rivalry get between us and that we remained friends to this day......also that fight was pretty epic, it was over a fucking volcano.

Some other highlighting moments I recall are: A shit ton of training threads with various people (mostly Tenma), Kin and Tenma's great bonding moment where they acknowledge eachother as spiritual siblings before charging toward what they believed was their death during the Ekiminshuu Massacre. Kisuke declaring to get payback against Kin for defeating him in the Grass War. Kin challenging Jin to kill him, when the Sound 3 fought Jin. Seisho and Tenma developing their own rivalry. Kisuke stabbing Kin in the knee and kicking him off a rising platform in Jagganath, nearly crippling or killing him. Myself accidently skipping two posts and then having Gin run to protect the wrong guy (who was our target). Gin using a large portion of his chakra to defend an ally, so he might have the strength to carry the battle. Ayane recruiting Namine, who was on her second or third thread ever, to join the Covenant. Fighting Sasori with Saiyuki, who made a great teammates. Getting Seisho to join the Covenant as a sleight against Kisuke. Kin leaving the Leaf village after I had only been rp'ing for a few days, along with my first SRPG friend: Shinji. Later going back to Konoha to convince Vreselijk to join the Sound as well. Forming the Sound 3 with Vres and Sasuke. Kin receiving his awesome sword, Tensa Zangetsu from a sacred trial. Kinachi dying at the hands of Kin himself for failing. Kinachi being replaced by Oroku Saki (who might I add, met with quite a bit of success). The intense battle between Tenma and Tatsujin, battling for Kin's favor. Kin falling to his knees before Jin and admitting his feelings of guilt and inner pain, and then a bitter fight. The death of Kasumi, which was originally rp'd by Masahiro Kaito (although I reposted it with a bit more added detail right after). The death of Ayane, at the hands of a stupid trap all because she was angry with Kin. Gin being shot down when asking to meet Becky for some ramen. Gin freaking the fuck out and beating up Edward Elric in the biggest display of un-ninja like activity this rp has ever seen. Seisho cleaving open Kin's chest with a katana because Kin was an arrogant prick.

And probably my fondest memory came from a display of kindness from a stranger, after fighting off Seisho and Takai, Kin was left bleeding out of his chest and rather tired, along with an equally injured Miyabata Enrai, and she chose to use a massive portion of her remaining chakra to heal Kin, a sound ninja, rather than herself. Afterward the two became friends, and Kin promises as he is being healed, that should they ever meet again in battle he will not harm her, and will protect from harm from other Sound ninjas if necessary. I don't know why but this moment played out very emotionally in my head, seeing a Leaf ninja choose to heal a Sound ninja before herself, and seeing Kin and Enrai actually become friends kinda tugged at my heart. It was one of the very few unplanned moments in Kin's story that made me feel like he was becoming a more of a good guy, in that he developed a friendship with an enemy soldier (this was before his backstory was changed to make him a friend of Kisuke, which obviously was planned, unlike this). I think it is moments like these that stick with us the most, because we truly have no idea what will happen next as they play out, you can shape any sort of event to happen in your character's story, but the ones that hit you the best are the one's you didn't see coming.

Oh, you saucy temptress...
Oh wow that brought good memories you two. Alright, I gotta post here now. This is gonna be a massive post so make sure you have time to spare.

Events:

I was never around for the start of SRPG, Bloodhawk, and the Grass War. I really, really regret not joining sooner because from what I've heard, the Grass War was the best event ever made in the history of events... ever. I wanted to be a part of that event so badly. I don't think I have a favorite event so I'll just talk briefly about whatever I can remember.

The Ekiminshuu War was my first event. Tenma (or Dem back then) was still a stubborn genin who got lucky as fuck to get a sensei like Kin. I wasn't the most impressive rp'er until Raive taught me how to rp. I had already had my god-mod fail match against Seisho and my much more improved Suna fight with Takai by then. It was in that event that I posted a Raive-worthy trap legitimately, taking out a shit ton of ekiminshuus, helped take down one of the three eidan leaders, and fought alongside Raive, where (as he said already), Tenma and Kin acknowledged their spiritual brotherhood. Also, Kin's "ANBU Squad" all died in that event, including Kasumi, which really set off an elaborate storyline for Gekkou Kin and anyone connected to him, Tenma included. Thinking about it now, this might have actually been my favorite event.

The next one was Matsuro Event I believe. Tenma was a chuunin by then. I got to fight Kisuke in that event alongside Vres, but go figure, he was a jounin so it was more of a lulz match. What I really remember about that event was my match against Saiyuki, Hebi, and Hissori (3 vs. 1). That was a sik fight and I had to pull out as many strategies as possible to take them down. It WAS a 3 v 1 after all...

After that was the Akatsuki Plot. I had two roles that time. I was both Tenma (for the Hidan match) and I was honored with the privilege to rp as Kakuzu from Akatsuki. As fun as it was to rp with Rexon in Tenma and company vs. Hidan, I admit that being Kakuzu was a hell of a lot more fun. I got to fight Jin, Hissori, Saki, Musou, and Hero and boy was it a hell of a time. Hero always was a fair rp'er. Even though he was a chuunin, he admitted defeat before anyone else, showing his strengths in rp'ing. He helped make the fight realistic and did what most couldn't. Of course, in the end, it was Jin vs Kakuzu and that was probably one of the best matches I've had the privilege to rp in because Shinobi96 was an incredible rp'er.

Moving along, next was Jagganath. It was probably one of the most creative events I'd seen because it involved a lot more thinking and a lot less combat. The most combat there was in that event was the golem fights at the beginning. After that, every group had a set of riddles, traps, or sacrifices to deal with. I remember Raive "passed" on the Covenant to Deceit and Redemption at the end of that event, leaving his prized Tensa Zangetsu with Tenma. Ayane died in that event as well, again adding to the storyline for Kin and Tenma. Looking back now, I see that Kin and Tenma had a really detailed storyline from the start to the end. I remember now that I had my second character back at this time too; Matsuro Taiteki (yeah, I made him affiliated with the Matsuro event).

After Jagganath was Shiva. This was a unique event in the fact that Guilds came into play during this event. There were two parts to this event: the actual Shiva event and the guild war. In the main event, I used Taiteki, who fought alongside Kei against Taeko and Ki. Taiteki and Ki had already fought once and Tai and Kei worked well together. If that fight could have gone on longer, I think it might have swung over in Tai and Kei's favor. I never did get to fight alongside Kei for a full match. It was always halted. In the guild war, Tenma (Redemption) fought Vldorian (Omega). It was a jounin vs. jounin fight. That match was also halted half-way through though. This wasn't one of my favorite events to be honest, but it was still a decent one.

Finally, the Orc War. This was a crazy event, no doubt. Tenma vs Tatsujin (and Kuro) was insane. But that wasn't the only part of the war I remember. Amida (my 3rd and last character) was in this event and he fought Gun from Kumo. I got to partake in two really good fights and I believe Tenma vs Tatsu was the first time I'd ever made Tenma go all out, full power, CS2, kuchiyose (Bahamut). About the only thing I didn't do was use my trump jutsu. Damn, that was an explosive and violent event but man did it end in style. It was sik.

Fights:

Ah yes, the heart of ninja role-playing games. Where do I start?

Okay, I guess first and foremost, I need to thank Raive once again for helping me improve my rp'ing. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have learned how to rp so effectively and so quickly. He was a good teacher and I (would like to assume I) was a good student. The final product was 100%, pure, raw, intense killing machine that was Ryuuguu Tenma. A number of Tenma's jutsus came from the combined efforts of Raive and I thinking up jutsus on MSN (and later on, Hero and Rexon helped me out too with a few jutsus). But this isn't about jutsus right now; its about Tenma's nearly flawless track record :P I won't go over every match; just the ones I think are most critical.

Tenma vs. Takai (Suna match): This was the start of my improved rp'ing. I had a mission to kill Takai. It was a battle of elements and little did I know, it would lead to an intense elemental rivalry between us.

Tenma vs. CE Matches: I honestly did not think about winning the CE. All I wanted to do was pass the exam and get to chuunin. I didn't care to beat Seisho as much as he wanted to beat me. I got passed Vldorian and Takai and that was decent enough. However, halfway into the final exam, I realized, "Hey wait a second, this is one of the best fights I've ever been in... everything's clean... nobody's bitching... this is a good match... maybe I can win it?" It sparked my interest in rp battles and helped build my rivalry against both Takai and Seisho.

Tenma vs. Kisuke: Probably one of the cleanest matches I've been in. This was also Tenma's only loss. This match wasn't about win or lose for me though. Sacha was already an experienced rp'er. It would take a snowball's chances in Hell (assuming Hell is a blazing inferno and not an icy wasteland like in Dante's Inferno) to beat him. However, I did manage to pull off a decent trap and that helped me make a name for Tenma. Only a rookie chuunin and I made it to the semi finals. I was pretty proud of my accomplishment, I won't lie. However, losing that battle was a wake-up slap in the face that I was still learning how to rp and it humbled me a bit. Unfortunately, it did not humble me enough. I became pretty determined never to lose again.

Tenma vs JE matches: Tenma fought Hero and Takai in the first match and it was my longest fight in SRPG/WON. That damn frostcicle wouldn't stop coming after me and we exchanged battle strategy after battle strategy trying to take each other down. This fight, along with Sacha and Drew's words of wisdom, helped me realize not only was I being too competitive, but WON in general had become too obsessed with winning. It wasn't about seeing who could win fights. It was about having fun and making the fights as fun and interesting as possible.

Tenma vs. Tatsujin (Orc War): This was Tenma's last major fight before WON's activity declined. I mentioned this fight earlier so not much to say. Tenma finally went all out and I had to; after all, I was fighting Raive, the person who TAUGHT me how to rp strategically. It was still a clean fight though and we didn't argue that much. I'm thoroughly pleased with how that fight went.

Rivals:

Hoo boy, Tenma had his fair share of rivals, didn't he?

Believe it or not, my first rival was actually some Byakugan user from Konoha who quit SRPG shortly after. It wasn't that fantastic of a rivalry and it didn't make a mark on Tenma's storyline.

My second rival, again believe it or not, was Vldorian. The first time Tenma fought Vldorian, he was a puppet user. After that, Vldorian became a doton user I believe and we met up again in the CE.

My third rival was Seisho. We had that horrible Kumo mission where I god-modded like no tomorrow. We had a respectable and clean rematch in the CE Finals.

My final rival was Takai. This was my longest-lasting rivalry (from genin to jounin) and this rivalry intertwined heavily with Tenma's storyline. We made Takai and Tenma fated rivals; they were friends in their younger years and their "demons" were connected.

Moment:

Gosh, I don't know. I really don't. There's been a lot of moments that I really liked. I told you this would be a massive post.............

1. First major "moment" was with Tenma and Kin in the Ekiminshuu war. As Raive mentioned earlier, it was the moment these two acknowledged each other as brothers. The sibling bond only grew from there.

2. Another major moment was Tenma's fan fiction. That's where he learned a little bit more about his past (and its the fic I used to finally change his bloody name from Dem to Tenma).

3. Tenma and Takai have had a long-lasting rivalry and it all came down to a friendship in their youths. When Ryuujin entered Tenma, his memories were replaced. When Aisuma entered Takai, his memories were also erased/replaced (I'm not sure which it was). We had a good thread going in Konoha that connected the two of them. It was there that they acknowledged each other as allies and friends.

4. Tenma and Kinachi/Saki. Both of them were Tenma's best friends. Kinachi died by Kin's hands with the help of Zabuza. Saki replaced Kinachi, but not without Tenma's approval. Tenma pushed and pushed Saki to the edge before finally becoming close to him as a friend. I sure do miss Kev haha.

5. Tenma and Kin had another moment together in Kumogakure. It was when Kin ditched Oto for Kumo/Konoha. I honestly don't know how this really ended up. The site died before it could progress. I do know though that it involved the Covenant and its passing on to Deceit. I remember the fic Raive made that recounted the events between Deceit and Redemption in the power struggle. It was the fic about "Tenma's" grandson. It was my favorite fic that Raive made.

Well I covered everything major to me. I guess I'll go down the list that Shin made and finish this post off:

My favorite character was... hmm... initially I was going to say Tenma, but I think my favorite character was actually Gekkou Kin. Most might think I'm saying that because Kin taught Tenma and he was close to Tenma, blah blah blah blah blah. My favorite character was Gekkou Kin because he had one of the best storylines, character developments, and emotional portrayals I've ever seen ever in the history of characters in anything ever made... ever. I'm not just talking about WON. I mean everything. Kin had a backstory that blew me away. Raive had plot twists, unexpected endings, and even a future story planned out for his descendants. I cannot believe how elaborate his character was. Everyone who knows me knows that I'm a sucker for a good storyline. Kudos to you, Raive. You deserve the praise.

Most hated character? Hot damn, seriously? ROTD!

...

...

Okay, I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I've already mentioned in a very old and forum-changing thread that I'm sorry for what happened and I wish I could renew my friendship with Xavier. He was a good friend with a sense of humor that I just couldn't connect with unfortunately. We were actually pretty decent friends before that incident. There were things that sparked the tension moments before though which helped him act like a total douche toward me, but considering he told me he's a sadist, I don't think I can hold it against him. He was who he was and the events that unfolded were because we didn't try to fix anything. We just let it escalate and I regret losing a friend because of a stupid match.

Coolest jutsu? Umm... Tenma's Byakuhi no Sentou. It's an ultimate defense, ultimate deathblow, and coolest display of explosive power in my opinion. I just love that jutsu. I honestly can't think of another jutsu to compare with it. Once again, my opinion.

Coolest bloodline? I don't know to be honest. Raive's Gekkou bloodline was pretty damn impressive I must say. The use of shadows and how he connected it to other parts of Kin (like his eyes being able to see in the dark the way Riddick's eyes can see, etc.). But I don't think I can say it was my favorite bloodline. Tenma's Ryuuguu bloodline is decent (not Tenma's bloodline, but the Ryuuguu bloodline itself. I think Kevin's character, Daiki, had it). I like Gun's bloodline where his lightning is black, absorbs light like a blackhole, and implodes, instead of exploding. Anyway, I could go on forever, but I don't want to bore you with all the bloodlines I remember.

If you ask me, I think SRPG/WON was one of the best things to come into my life. Yeah, it was just an rpg, but it made a big impact on my life. I met some very good friends, built close relationships with them, probably improved my writing and creative ability quite a bit, and spent countless hours creating characters and intertwining storylines that I won't forget. Thank you.
