Kanshi followed Gun into the tree but left Ryuk on the ground to have two points from which to attack, simultaneously if necessary. This strategy had been proven to at least throw the enemy off guard time and time again, but would it be as effective in these circumstances was yet to be seen. The three being attacked by Gun had noticed them, but took no notice of Ryuk, who Kanshi had stay behind a tree now , to hide his presence. "Well, they spotted us , looks like an easy victory won't be claimed here..." As this was said various pellets were thrown the first two releasing a smokescreen, at this point realizing that there would most likely be something following the smokescreen which happens nine times out of ten, he decided to reposition himself for the sake of self-preservation. He dove through the smoke towards where the three had been standing, two pellets flew past him and went off with a flash. He looked to where he was heading, but only two of the three was there, Amida was absent. Where did he go ? No matter, I'll concentrate on these two... He pulled two kunai from his pouch which had explosive tags wrapped around the handles appearing as if normal kunais. He threw them at the two visible opponents, Eigo and Tamekaze, and planned to detonate on impact or as close as he could get. He then had Ryuk move to their blind spot and launch about four shinobi spikes, two each aiming for vitals, before taking cover again. Pincer attack commence. |

This truly was a shock to Tenma. Never before had Tenma met someone so well-prepared for hell. Tenma didn't think that even Kin could stand up to the flames if they got too close to him, but this Tatsujin was something else; or rather, his armor. However, this really intrigued Tenma. He wanted to test the limits of this armor, even if it meant having to repair Tensa Zangetsu later. It was a strong sword, yes, but it was still a sword and could be repaired to be just as powerful as before if not better. Even with that fact in his mind, Tensa Zangetsu was extremely durable (OOC: dense material augment) and would be able to resist at least some of the sword-breaking effects of pulling Tensa Zangetsu free. Tenma really had no choice now. He'd show just how powerful his flames were, but only this once. He knew Kin would be safe, other than the extremely unpleasant feeling of the extreme amount of heat released, due to Kin's distance from Tenma and Tatsujin. Tatsu already sent of a jutsu at point blank now. Tenma wasted no time. "Shinsei..." With Tatsu already busy sending out his own jutsu, this would probably make it that much easier to nail a near perfect hit with this, especially since this jutsu was so spontaneous. If that armor did have some fire and heat resistance, Tenma really had no choice but to wear it down and what better time than when Tatsu was so determined to hold Tensa Zangetsu down. It's durability would do its part in protecting Tensa Zangetsu if Tatsu went flying from the blast and if Tatsu kept a hold onto the sword, it would be all the better as this extreme form of Tenma's flames would continuously incinerate the armor and the real Tatsu within the armor, not to mention Tatsu's chakra-shards from Kikyuu no jutsu. Shinsei (Nova) exploded from all around Tenma in a violent and wide-ranged blast of white and blue fire, consuming the area around them relentlessly for fifteen feet all around (30 foot diameter). If this did not severely thrash and burn Tatsujin, even with a defense, which didn't seem likely as Tatsu was already in mid-process of releasing his Kikyuu no jutsu, almost nothing would be able to bring Tatsujin down. Due to the proximity and spontaneous nature of the jutsu, reacting to this jutsu in general wouldn't be an easy feat. This would hopefully level the playing field now as Tenma needed to be able to fight Tatsu head-on. The flames of Shinsei also did their part in cauterizing Tenma's wound, pulling a two-for-one deal. Come on, you son of a gun, drop dead already... Summary: Tenma uses Shinsei on Tatsujin (Too much info to summarize on Shinsei. For those who aren't in this match, the main thing you have to know is that Tenma used Shinsei). |

ooc: not sure what you did by how you worded it, but im going under the assumption you tugged the sword out or something. SHIT!!! The blast came sudden and gave no warning, even tatsu's acute sense caught no warning. He scraped upward, the serrations on tensa Zangetsu cried out and snapped away, ruining the sword, it was a useless piece of shit now. Tatsu backflipped into the air scrambling tog et away as quick as possible, he flared up his over shield as quickly as possible, it would create a strong buffer for the fire, his armor alone wasn't strong enough to deflect this kind of chakra usage. As he left the range of the attack and streaked across the metal floor he let the overshield return to normal. Steam rose off from the arm which was holding the sword, and a slight streak ran down his arm and upper chest plate. Just like he had thought, almost entirely cosmetic damage. The fire proofing was still in good position, like all fire proofing it was meant for extreme heat and flames, it was durable. But heat of that proportion might have done some real damage had it not been for Tatsujin's over shield, the parts that were scratched glowed a moment with an orange brilliancy, and he felt sweat roll down his forehead. He clicked a small button on his neck and the vents of the suit opened for a bit, letting out the excess heat and recycling the air quickly, then re-sealing. Such a blast of heat actually made it past his fire proofing, had it not been for the fire proofing and his overshield.......he's have probably deep fried inside his armor. He only stood and watch from outside the range of the attack as Tenma blew away a massive proportion of chakra. the maces...........damn!! The mace pinned behind Tenma on the wall and the one Tatsujin had dropped the floor ignited under the heat and exploded, sending their stocks of large football length spieks hurtling into the firey dome. Inside the inferno drastically enflamed metal flew into the air hurtling for Tenma, Tatsu had been planting them under the guise of using them as weapons. Purposely placing them so that when they ignited they hurtled for Tenma. He wanted to place more but now Tenma would catch on to their purpose. such power...........I've never seen a fire specialist with this much untamed power, it's like he had more heat and chakra than he knows what to do with. Where did it come from? This power, so beastly.........almost demonic in nature. Edited by Raive, Sep 22 2008, 12:15 AM.

Hissori felt slimey hands leave his frame as Vldorian did something completley unpredictable. Hissoris wings caught the open air and quickly his hands fired through handseals and with a loud burst of air screamed out "KAZE BUSTER SHELL". The initial blast of air domed out around Hissori and Vldorian just in time for them to hit the ground allowing Hissori the time to shoot off the same jutsu sending blazing strong winds in all directions leveling the orcs to the floor or simply pushing them back enough for more than a few feet of breathing room. "This dome of wind will collapse soon....get ready and when you think of a place to go we'll book it.....I don;t necessarily think these things tend to go down with just one hit so quickness might be key....although if i remember correctly that shouldnt be an issue with you" The dome of wind dissipated and the orc came rushing in toward them both. Hissori had previously kept his claws out but now had replaced them both for his katana and was already charging in toward one of the orcs who raised his hands to the sky only to have Hissori duck under his legs cutting tendons deep enough to collapse the orc on its own weight breaking his legs from the awkward fall. Hissori continued dealing out cuts that would make it difficult for the orcs to maintain balance and effectivley made them useless without killing them outright. He had gotten through four of them before his wings coated in a silver color chakra that made the wings on his back like blades. Hissori then with almost six sharp tiped feathers on either side of his wings slashing freely into orc skin at one time made his way back to the woods...it would be easier to fight them from the trees. |

OOC: No, actually I was stating the durability of Tensa Zangetsu due to the stars I paid for its Dense Material augment and stating how it should protect the sword a bit if for some reason, the sword was pulled out or removed from the armor. IC: Not even a burn huh? Shit, that armor is unreal... though his chakra flared up proportionally to mine... I take it he used some form of defense to protect himself from the flames. Obviously, it only worked to a degree now that the armor is glowing from the extreme heat... that's it then. I'll bang that armor up as much as possible while its still heated. Opening those vents wouldn't do too much for Tatsu. Shinsei not only gave off a powerful explosion of fire, but there was a great heat that came from the natural power of the fire itself. The entire room, due to being enclosed, would be heated up for a nice period of time. Tenma could hear the maces behind exploding from the great heat, sending large spikes toward him, but they wouldn't get too far, literally, as the flames either melted the spikes, slowed them down significantly, or deflected the spikes. The chakra-laced flames of Shinsei served him well. After all, Shinsei was an adaptation of Nenshou Ryuusei. Unfortunately, the flames did die out before all the spikes could be halted and one cut across his left forearm, leaving a fairly unpleasant gash. Tenma sheathed Tensa Zangetsu. It's dense material protected it a bit from completely shattering, even making the blade seem more jagged and rough than before due to the abnormal shattering of the sharp end. It would scrape against the armor, but if anything, it would pose more of a threat to those without full body armor. That armor is not possible. It's technology is something not even Orochimaru has seen and that's saying something. It's too powerful for just one round of attacks. It's slowly wearing down, but I need to keep at it. However, its still a metal suit and that will be his downfall. Now Tenma wasted no time. Tenma shot forward at the glowing pile of armor that protected Tatsu so faithfully. Leaping into the air, Tenma pulled a flip in the air, speeding down like a bullet at Tatsu. In the air, Tenma shot a powerful round kick, all the built up momentum serving the kick well as it was by far the strongest kick he'd thrown this entire match. The mithril grieves on his feet would help even more in the process. He wouldn't stop there. After that kick, Tenma would immediately send the next wave of kicks. He had to bang up that armor has much as possible while it was still sensitive to being shaped due to the heat, similar to a sword being crafted after the metal had been in a furnace. Tenma planned to bend and bang that armor up as much as possible. Even if Tatsu went to block the kicks, that would save him very little. The armor on the arms would get banged up too. During this entire process, Tenma kicked far more with his right leg than his left leg. He had to keep his injured arm at bay from Tatsu's reach. Tenma was flexible however, in both ways. He could always resort to flips and spin kicks to hit both sides of Tatsu's armor with his right leg. I've been attacking a lot. I can't help it really since I have to break him down fast. Once that's done though, I should probably focus on other aspects... Summary: Tenma takes note of the past few seconds that passed by, analyzes the situation as it stands, and continuously attacks the glowing armor while its still hot and malleable in an attempt to finally deal notable damage to Tatsu. Konoha's Wave
|
The attacked missed by Gun. It was not a surprise, since the three ninja were moving, and there were enemies of theirs around too. Gun nodded, but suddenly was approached by one of the ninja, a very fast one. The ninja closed the gap between them very quickly, and it was obvious that he was not messing around. Gun noticed something fall near him, they were not directly tossed at him, which gave him a hint that they could be diversions, in which they were. Smoke bombs went off, and that was a signal for him to get out of there. In 99 percent of attacks that use some type of diversions will follow with an attack. Gun jumped to his side right as light bombs went off to his side. The light did in fact cause him to go blind in his right eye; completely. Before he could land, he could sense a displacement in the air's friction, which is an automatic sign of some sort of lightning oriented attack. Gun could not get out of the way from it all, and it struck his right arm, slightly. It hit on the edge of his shoulder, then he grabbed it and noticed it was not too bad, but it stung like hell. He landed, then crouched. He could only see out of one eye, but it was enough for now. He let go of his arm and could feel some sort of 'charge' or lasting energy on his right shoulder. It was odd, and he knew it could come back to haunt him sooner rather than later. Gun looked through his left eye and noticed Kanshi go for the other two ninja aiding the one who attacked Kanshi and himself. Gun twisted backwards and behind the tree. The ninja; Amida, may know he was here, but he would be waiting for him, or maybe just attack. Gun held his double-edged dagger, and put it back into its holster, unlatched. It would be snug, even not latched, for easy access. I guess, I have this guy, I hope Kanshi can hold on to them two, or possibly work together. But two on three is going to be tough, very tough. He pulled out a kunai, then attached a tag as quick as possible. He wrapped it around the handle, and put it back into his kunai pouch. He did not want to use too much chakra, but he did want to use it as well as possible. Gun made two hand seals and smirked. Suddenly the friction in the air condensed around Gun's fingers. He twisted out from the backside of the tree and looked forward towards where he was attacked from. Inside of his finger tips, laying invisible to the eye were particles of lightning in which when it touches the skin of another person, it releases. Gun stood there, with his right hand open read to get out anything else needed, while his other hand also laid to his side. He was planning to look out of his element, and surprised. SUMMARY: Gun is now blind in his right eye, and was struck lightly in his right shoulder. He formulated a plan, and used a jutsu to concentrate lightning to his finger tips. READ! --------------------------------------------------------- "Okay, Rikatu." Hero nodded and sheathed Shikon. He pulled out a dagger that was held on his right side, in a holster. Hero held it tight, and looked at Rikatu, but turning his shoulder to his left side. He used his left hand to wave to Rikatu. He looked back forward and dashed off. He ran into the open area, facing the orcs, who were very dangerous. It seemed many of them wandered off, but one stuck out. It was very big, maybe of a higher rank than the others, and seemed to be stronger too. Hero nodded to Rikatu and stopped. He forced chakra into his dagger and suddenly water started to seep out of the ground. As that did, he made a slash in the air, and the chakra in the blade was released and made a huge 5 foot tall wave, with a diameter of 3 feet. It went soaring towards the huge seven foot tall orc. The wave picked up water, and basically made itself into a water wave. Hero looked at Rikatu. "Rikatu, send another wave of long ranged attacks. We can catch him off guard if we use more than one." As he instructed Rikatu to do another wave of attacks, he could not stop and wait. He needed to make another distraction. He nodded to himself and made four hand seals. His forearm then started to glow wildly. His bloodline was now activated. He made his hand into a loose fist and pointed it at the orc. Water suddenly started to seem up from the very soaked ground around the feet of the orc. This jutsu was a very concealed one, in which it did not disrupt the ground below, to make any evidence of something wrong. "[Suiton] Eda Assaiki - Limb Crusher!!!" The water suddenly strapped around the feet of the orc, yet was not tight yet. It waited for Hero's command, and it was now. Hero clenched his fist and it became very tight. The water, as a result of Hero movements, tightened on the orc's feet and leg bottom. It constricted the movement of the orc, and also induced harsh pain, and possible limb breaking pressure. The orc groaned, loudly! Hero was shocked now, even though it was a huge beast, Hero did not expect this. The beast suddenly broke out of the water, and yelled fiercely! The orc did not move out of the attack, but was waiting for that one to come. Hero knew he would not expect Rikatu's attacks, but this was a sudden change of view. This thing would not go down easily. It was superior to the other orcs, not all, but most. Hero did a back flip and landed next to Rikatu; hoping he could attack now. SUMMARY: Hero attacked the orc with a wave from his dagger, and a jutsu. READ! |

ooc: posting from sei's house it may be kinda short. and as a side note, a 3 second blast of fire isn't going to suddenly make my armor like a freshly furaced sword. especially with the density of it's material and fire proofing. Tatsujin backflipped a few times as the kick flew by, Tenma was fast, and Tatsjuin was slowed down by all that armor. But there was one thing Tenma didn't know about Tatsjuin. He was the least human person in this room, or rther the perfect ideal of a human (oh and Eric's keyboard sucks ass, making mad typos, it's all curved andn shit). His bones were grafted with metal to make him resistant to inner injury, his eyes and reflexes were heightened, and his mind was sharpened like a razor's edge. The only thing limiting Tatsu from bursting right through those kicks was the fact that his sooped up muscles were slowed down by his armor. Lucky armor had no effect on those muscles used for melee. Tatsu was realizing now that Tenma was no weakling, he was resiliant to a point, no doubt a trait he inherited from his master. As a kick came down for him Tatsu reached his arm up to block but spun his wrist as it closed in, catching the foot by the heel, and tightening his ape grip around it, and then immeadiately swining his arm down to smash Tenma into the floor. As he pulled him down he moved in over him, whether he smashed in or not he'd have a massive 300 pound metal gorilla rocketing his fist with enhanced human strength right as Tenma. summary: minorly retreats a bit to avoid kicks then catches one and slams Tenma toard the floor, then going to punching him repeatedly. |

The Blood Saint
|
Takeshi finished up with the orc he had just been fighting and jumped onto a tree branch close to Saiyuki, this entire place had become a battlefield but the most concentrated are of fighting lie ahead of the three of them a little ways. The fresh blood that coated Takeshi's body from his latest kill had begun to wash away due to the rain already, it would not remain long enough to be of any use. It disappointed him to no end that the weather chose to act against him in a battle of this magnitude, but his resourcefulness would triumph over this set back as it always did when it mattered most. Takeshi took this bit of time to prepare a few specialized kunais, a few with exploding tags attached and some connected to wire. "Are we going to make contact with the main forces or do we have some other objective ?" His eyes still concentrating on preparing himself for the battles to come. He finished making his specialized kunais and placed them back into his pouch, he then turned toward Saiyuki waiting for an answer for his previously asked question. "Either way I assume we are going to wait for Daiki, to cut out a third of our little group's fighting force would just be dumb. I just wish he would hurry up so we can proceed." Patience was not a virtue that Takeshi held close this day, and the change in his demeanor reflected it so. After all, how could someone be in a good mood when one of their advantages had been nullified by as trifle a circumstance as the weather. It mattered not at this point, the facts would not change no matter how much he grumbled to himself or how much he contorted his face, but what would have a determining effect on the outcome is how he would cope with this setback. His mind traversed the many strategies he had developed in his time, but none of them had been completely independent of his bloodline. The advantage here, would be that it would make him think in ways he would normally not. I hate the rain... |

A brilliant failure
|
The dome went down and instantly orcs were on them. Hissori was fighting with good skill knowing to attack vital points and such. Vldorians strength on the other hand let him cut straight threw the orcs with a certain amount of ease, either way most of the time he went for the neck. His sword shot forward with a certain grace that only someone who had mastered a sword could attain. It sliced threw armor and orcs, never faltering in its path. The rain was getting old as it still poured from the beginning and it only hindered abilities for most ninja. Vldorian was on of them when it came to some jutsus but not a couple. The had both slowly been moving back to the tree line. When they finally got there Vldorian stabbed his sword into the ground, not having enough time to sheath it, then made hand seals. “Get behind me.” Hissori jumped behind him and Vldorian slammed both palms into the ground. Ten-foot spikes shot forward. It could not be described as a couple spikes it surrounded the large clearing and went almost all the way to the bunker taking out the majority of orcs as the spikes came up cutting threw there armor like a rock thrown threw wet paper. His body never left its crouched position as his hands left the ground and he made several more hand seals. “Kai.” The bunker went off, a hundred tags going off together. The clearing that had been left now turned into a fire pit of roasting orcs. The explosion also made most of the ground collapse in on its self so the pit was even larger. Vldorian stayed there for a second as he watched his work unfold, it had coast him a good 20 percent of his chakra to do his jutsu on such a large scale. OOC I except no points for blowing up the bunker. To Dem, its not a huge huge clearing, and the bunker was seemingly mine from the beginning I don't see any problem with it. It's called Ice For Life baby!
|
Rikatu dashed after Hero and looked out from behind him to see the orc that was theirs to kill. Hero made a wave of water and Rikatu got ready for his attack, Hero made another distraction which bought Rikatu more time to gain chakra. As soon as hero fell to Riaktu's side he made a sires of hand seals and placed his hand on the other hand, then placed both on the water filled ground. "Shadow ice, Total Freeze!" Rikatu froze the water that surrounded the orc, the orc made one touch to the ice and it froze his entire leg. This cought him off guard which made his place his other leg down freezing it as well. He struggled to get out of the trap with no prevail which Rikatu took to his use. He pulled out two kuni and threw them at the orc. It was to busy with the ice on it's legs to notice and the kuni hit him square in the right arm, but Rikatu wasn't done. The orc yelled and went to pull out the kuni when they melted. The orc grabbed at water which moved to his wrist and froze, Rikatu tightened the ice breaking it. it only had one hand to fight with now. It shook off the ice in fury then broke out of the ice in total rage. It charged at Rikatu and Hero and Rikatu threw more ice up in it's way but it broke though them smashing it with one swing. "Hero, do something. I cant do this for very long..." Rikatu would hold off the orc with walls of ice until it got to close then he would hop out of the way of any attack the orc would swing at him. SUMMARY: Rikatu fallowed Hero toward an orc which was not like the others, He froze it to the ground then stuck too kuni in it then broke it's wrist with the melted/frozen ice kunis. The orc broke out of the trap and started rushing them. Rikatu tries to hold it off for a bit with walls of ice and waits for Hero. READ FOR MORE DETAILS |
