Tatsu braced himself as the wall of fire came rushing for him, crossing both arms, his overshield flared and he crouched down to create as small a target as possible, the more tucked his body was, the less it would be subjected to the fire, and more protected it would be. Sleipnir used it's massive leaping flight to go right above the blast of fire, it rushed past Tatsu, making his shields flicker down. He recharged it back to base level, the invisible kind which could not be detected, he stood back up and rushed for Tenma, tossing out three more spike grenades which exploded, sending a massive flurry of spikes toward Tenma's direction. As the storms of spikes would died down he would rush in straight for Tenma, charging with his superhuman strength, pumping his legs as fast as possible, he'd charge at Tenma and punch for him with all his strength. He had strength, stamina, defense and training on his side. As his teacher had explain: "ninjas were made by evolution, just the same as any warrior, they evolved from humans to adapt to new war, ninjas were born to kill people. But super soldiers were the new generation, born to kill ninjas." Sleipir was caught in bahamut's talons, but the claws only scraped against Sleipnir's armor, like it's ally in combat, Sleipnir was strong and meant to take damage, he was mounted with armor all over it's body. It bursted it's legs and flew from bahamut's grip, skidding around on the dirt it fired a sound blast from it's mouth at Bahamut and kicked it's legs, ready to battle. Sleipnir lord of all horses versus bahamut lord of dragons. as the tornadoe raged toward the orc captain he hooked it's massive ancor like javelin into the concrete, it slid down the slid of the cracked rock which was once a wall of some sort. Using the javelin to swing around, avoiding the tornadoe, the chain created from the violent wind, but it was strong still, the orc continued to swing along it like tarzon, driving it's elg up aiming a massive kick toward the Seijika, planning to continue into Vldorian and then into Rikatu ooc: sorry the orc portion is short, did it based off your sumamries, i have the SAT tomorrow, so i am rushing this so i can go and get some rest. summary: tatsu defends against the blast and races to attack Tenma, throwing spike grenades, and then running in for a physical assault. Sleipnir lets bahamut do useless damage on it's battle armor, then shoots a sound blast at him, and kicks up it's feet ready to challenge bahamut. |

Konoha's Wave
|
There was a sudden flash of light, and it was in Gun's favor. The light from the tag's explosion gave him the edge to see Amida, but then once the light would go away, it was Gun's turn to strike. With no hand seals and before the attack towards Gun was attempted he put both of his hands up, and snapped both of them. A sudden charge of chakra moved from his circulatory system in the main part of his chakra system, to his index fingers. The chakra was normal chakra, but a dark chakra. From both of his finger tips, he used the same technique he did earlier against Amida, but he would not expect it to be so close range. Out of his two finger tips two powerful black bolts shot out, directly for Amida. In Gun's assumption, all of his Raiton attacks seemed to hurt him, but make him strong at the same time. He figured that with Amida's raiton usage, he must have an ability to be able to somehow absorb the opponent's raiton energy and use it for taijutsu. Yet now with these two blasts of black lightning, it hopefully will slow him down in time for Gun to do something else. Directly after the double jutsu attack, he pulled out a few needles and stuck them into the ground in front of him. With that done, he used his one main leg to support himself now, as feeling started to come back to his right leg. His power seemed to be increasing by the minute and I helped it out. But by giving him the power, he would have to use the technique now, and release the energy, and it will be enough of that. Hopefully. Gun's six to seven needles on the ground, were there for his protection. If they would stick, they would most likely stop Amida from directly attacking, since it would put him off balance. If not, Gun would have to dodge taijutsu based attacks. Hopefully the two bolts would hurt him enough to slow him down. The effects of the black lightning would cause pressure, even if it absorbed. Like Gun's dead limb technique it seemed to effect Amida. But some of it was absorbed. SUMMARY: Gun uses the simple black lightning to hold of Amida and get him to prematurely use his technique. Then places six needles on the ground to harm Amida if he continues. --------------------------------- Hero had cut open the drone orc's stomach wide open. The intestines fell out, steaming up. The cold air had rapidly cooled down the insides and made steam rise. Hero suddenly got a call from a familiar ninja; Hissori. The other orc was mow upset and it did not want Hero to escape. So it started. Hero backed up, and then jumped forward again, making a vertical slash from head to toe of the orc. Blood started to run down the line, and then the orc fell over. Hero looked back and noticed a huge draft of wind, and Hissori wanting Hero to freeze the huge orc that he sent Rikatu to fight. It was now time to be a part of it. Hero jumped into the air and sheathed Shikon, while making a one-handed hand seal. Suddenly water right under the drafted seeped up into the open air. It was not enough to fully freeze the Captain, that is why he needed to do his next phase. "Bloodline Level Two! Mizu Zoushoku - Water Multiplication!" Suddenly, Hero's arm was engulfed in dark blue lines which resembled a cursed seal. Then the huge mass of water doubled in size and was caught by the draft of very cold wind. The temperature of the wind was cold enough to rapidly freeze the water once if would hit the orc, since it would spread out along the orc's body. Once spread the extreme cold air would cool down the molecules of the water compound and make it solidify. Hero landed and watched as the water went for the Orc. Yet that was not all that was going around. Pieces of earth, rock, wood and many other things flew around from the outside gusts of the main draft. Hero twisted around and jumped, trying to evade the huge pieces. He pulled out his dagger and sliced a piece of wood that went for him. He landed and a huge rock his his right shoulder. From the impact, it made his muscles contract, and the dagger stuck in the ground. Yet, following the rock was a huge horde of various pebbles and tree limbs. Hero dropped to the ground. His face was against the water and blood soaked ground, until the debris was gone. He stood up, pulling his dagger from the ground, and with blood and water running down his face, he walked towards Vldlorian, watching for more debris. This was the time of war, which we all despised. There were dangerous summons out now, and it was time that it was to end. SUMMARY: Hero killed two orcs, then helped out Hissori and the team by using water to catch the draft which was going towards the Captain orc. If the water is to hit, it would freeze to the orc. Meanwhile Hero was hit by some debris, and it now still dodging some. |

Oh, you saucy temptress...

OOC: Third post with Erekutorikku no Kyuushuu. Jigoku Amida: IC: Even with this speed he seems to be managing well. I don't want to use more chakra, but he keeps using chakra too, leveling the playing field. I'll have to rely on this taijutsu for a little bit more. It was only costly to summon, but now that its out, its not costing me much. I can't keep it active for too long though. Amida's jutsu was at 90% of its maximum possible power now. As he approached Gun now, he saw the Kumo nin performing a jutsu. Suddenly, two black streaks of lightning shot out. Amida knew he didn't need to take unnecessary damage. His jutsu was already almost fully charged. He leaned to the right a bit, taking only one of the bolts of lightning as the other shot by uselessly as a waste of chakra. Even then, Amida only took a partial hit from the incoming bolt of black lightning. It was just like he saw before with the orb of black lightning. It was a powerful jutsu. He didn't need all the power inside it, only some, so he took exactly that much. Being a fast jutsu, it was hard to time his movements just right, but being naturally fast, skilled mostly in evasion, and in the state he was in (referring to the taijutsu style), he moved fast enough to take a full hit on his left, protecting the rest of his body. The force was strong, but not enough to send him back flying or anything. Fun time's over. There's no escape. Now Gun was trapped. He had nowhere to run with a large tree behind him and Amida was easily faster than Gun in this state so if Gun ran to the side, it wouldn't do him much good. Amida stood his ground. He saw the needles shoot down and knew the ground ahead was a field of metal. With his right hand, he sent an insanely fast punch forward as lighting jumped out like a beam to slam directly into Gun's solar plexus. With his other hand, he let lightning course into the ground, going to electrocute Gun's feet and legs with the same numbing effects as before. On the same token, that lightning would hit the six needles and with some manipulation, Amida used the lightning to shoot the six needles up at an angle, heading directly for Gun's entire body to impale him. Gun placed himself in a tight corner and would pay the price for it now. However, Gun's jutsu wasn't entirely a waste of chakra. There was a reason Amida used his left hand for a secondary role. The blast was strong and even with the 1/4 recoil, the damage was done. His arm felt a bit numb and he only used that arm to manipulate the Raiton and needles. He didn't want to move his left arm too much now. Summary: Amida takes a hit from one of the black bolts and counter attacks with Raiton. At the same time, he manipulates the needles on the ground to shoot up and piece the cornered Gun. ------------ OOC: Ryuuguu Tenma 4th post that Bahamut has been out. @Raive: How long can Kuro keep Sleipnir out? IC: Bahamut's attack did not phase Sleipnir much surprisingly. Tenma figured the sheer size of Bahamut would be enough to deal some notable damage, but that armor on Sleipnir seemed pretty durable. Bahamut turned around, easily maneuvering from the incoming sound blast due to his distance from the horse. Diving down toward the horse again while it was finishing up its sound blast, Bahamut whipped its tail out as it took a sharp turn left, increasing the momentum and velocity of the tail slam even more. It would slam into the horse and this time, it wasn't aiming to just strike Sleipnir. The tail whip was aimed at an angle and would send Sleipnir into the air if it struck well enough. With that, Bahamut would then move forward again to strike the airborne Sleipnir with its wings and shoulder repeatedly, keeping the horse airborne. This was all assuming that Sleipnir was struck into the air in the first place. Tenma reached into his kunai pouch, pulling out three kunais and attaching tags onto them, along with pulling a spare tag out, as Tatsu was dealing with the wave of fire. Bahamut's wind really helped in making a large fire wall for less than the usual amount of chakra. However, Tatsu's overshield proved useful once again. He watched as Tatsu charged forward, sending a volley of spikes again at Tenma. Using his three kunais with tags, he countered the incoming spikes with the explosions of the tags. Through the smoke came Tatsu again. This guy is ridiculously powerful. Its like he has an infinite amount of energy supplied by that armor or something. And to top it off, the armor won't even budge. It's only scratching the surface and that's not enough even with my fire. I'm just barely holding my own in this. Anyone else would be screwed in such a situation. This time, Tatsu was going for a very direct attack. Tenma had long since deactivated Iron Kick Style, but it wouldn't matter. Even if Tatsu was fast, his armor was heavy and the distance between them was enough to prepare Tenma. He'd already taken a little under half the damage his body could normally withstand due to the collapsing fort's falling objects. However, Tatsu was spotless aside from the scratches his armor had withstood. He had to level the playing field somehow. That armor was just impossible to break and yet, Tenma came close every single time to doing potential damage. He wasn't willing to spend any more chakra in vain again. Even if Tatsu's overshields cost chakra too, if both of them went down to zero chakra, Tatsu would still have the same armor on him as before. Tenma was at a disadvantage either way. He couldn't afford to take a massive hit. Tatsu had strength, stamina, defense and training on his side, but so did Tenma. He'd use every last bit of it. As Tatsu came in, Tenma ran forward too, tearing his body to the side as he leaped up lightly with his right hand slightly extended. With Tatsu now merely inches away, Tenma went to slap his hand against Tatsu's face shield. It wasn't just a slap though. Tenma had an exploding tag in his hand and he was going to stick it into the speeding Tatsu's helmet and set it off. If the tag stuck true, Tenma would set it off immediately. If it did not stick into his helmet, Tenma obviously would still have the tag in his hand and not set it off. With Tatsu moving so fast and not having the same amount of evasion time that Tenma had, he hoped he would be able to pull off a successful counter. If he was successful, Tenma's hand would also jerk back, partially from Tenma pulling his hand back quickly and partially from slamming it into Tatsu's speeding body. His arm would hurt a bit from the pressure, but it would be fine for the most part. Summary: Bahamut evades the sound blast and counterattacks Sleipnir with its tail. If the tail strike is successful in tossing Sleipnir up (airborne), Bahamut would slam its wings and shoulder against Sleipnir repeatedly to keep it airborne. Tenma counters the spikes with three kunais w/ tags. Tenma prepares himself to evade Tatsu's bullrush and attempts to stick a tag on Tatsu's helmet with little reaction time on Tatsu's part. If the tag sticks onto Tatsu's helmet, Tenma will set the tag off. If it does not stick into Tatsu's helmet, Tenma will obviously not set it off because the tag will still be in Tenma's hand. OOC: Eesh Raive, hope it goes well. IC: The massive green-skin was able to turn the huge, incoming tornado to his advantage. Seijika was not so good at this, as he was initially swept off his feet, but he used his sheathed katana to grab onto the the ground. As soon as he found a solid footing on the ground, he saw that the orc captain had about quarter's left of a spin until his massive, armored foot would reach Seijika. Thinking quickly, he grabbed a kunai and an exploding tag and stuck the two together. Aiming carefully, he threw the tagged kunai at an opening in the orc captain's armor, the side of the knee. After he had saw that the kunai stuck harmlessly onto the armor, he quickly jumped out of the foot's way and set the tag off. However, that jump out of the way backfired. Although he had avoided the kick, he also got swept up by the tornado's fearsome winds. Landing a distance away, he landed pretty hard on his chest and tried to catch his breath. On the bright side, he avoided the icy cold water that would have probably given Seijika hypothermia. Summary: Seijika takes a tagged kunai and sticks it onto the orc captain's leg and then sets it off. To avoid the kick, he jumps out of the way but gets swept away. |

Does the Walker choose the Path, or the Path the Walker?
|
Eigo looked around, trying to see through his cloud. He had seen many lightning flashes where Amida was, and it was actually scaring him a bit. He didn't want to lose a person that was being nice to him and acting like his...friend. Tamekaze was another story. He was just a jerk that thought he could do anything. But Amida had probably saved his life, and there was no way Eigo was going to put that aside. Eigo leaped in the direction of Amida and started to run. The cloud had dissipated and now all Eigo could see was the back of Amida. He couldn't tell if he was hurt at all, but then again, he could have a hundred kunai sticking out of his belly. Eigo reached Amida's side just in time to see him punch at Gun using lightning and then make lightning seep into the ground and rush at Gun. Even by this simple attack, Eigo knew Amida was strong and had a gift. "Hey Amida, what do you got for me to do?" What the hell am I doing!? I'm talking to this guy from the Jigoku clan! No stop, he's a friend now. He saved my life. I shouldn't hate on him because he is a Jigoku. But what if other people see me talking to him? They could like kill me! No stop! I need stop thinking about what other people think, it is only what I think, and I think he is a good friend and a lifesaver. Eigo thought about waiting for Amida to answer, but decided to something to his own accord. He quickly got out his bow and nocked an arrow. He would be ready if Gun somehow escaped the attacks Amida had lashed at him. Summary: Eigo runs to Amida's side, wanting to know both if he is alright and if he needs any help. The cloud dissipates and disappears. Eigo then thinks about Amida some more. He then nocks an arrow and waits to see if Gun escaped Amida's attacks. |

A brilliant failure
|
The maximum things a brain could do was not that much and it was hard to calculate all the things going on around. He would first take care of all the debris heading towards him. He made a hand seal making a small wall to cover his right side where all the wreckage was coming. This also eliminated any threat from the tornado thing Hero and Hissori were throwing at the captain. Then the Captain was suddenly hurtling towards him. He also heard the kid pop up behind him say something. “GET DOWN.” The yell erupted from Vldorian as he flattened himself to the ground rolling just in time to throw a tag up, trying to get it to stick to the orc captain as he went over. He was up and on his feet as fast as he had gotten out of the way, ready for the next attack. summary makes a small wall to stop debris from hitting him and then goes down to the ground to dodge orc captain also throwing a tag up trying to stick it on his back. If it lands hes going to set it off, if it doesn’t then it will land on the wall he made at the first of his post. |

It's called Ice For Life baby!

Rikatu dropped to the ground as something huge flew over him. He flipped up and got next to Vldorian again. The orc captain was in front of him and he saw the tag with Vldorian must have thrown. He pulled four shuriken out of the rain and threw them at the orcs head and neck just like his old plan with the other orc. "Whats next..." Rikatu pulled up his sword waiting for something to get going, his blood was pumping and the rain on his face wasn't helping at all. It just helped his excitement. Rikatu shook his head making his hair flop back and forth draining the water, yet the rain kept coming... Smry: Rikatu ducks down and the orc flies over him, he stands up and throws four shuriken at it's neck and head, then gets ready for it's next attack. Edited by rikatu shadow, Oct 5 2008, 09:17 PM.

The orc captain swung, not even noticing as four shurikens from rikatu pinged off his golden armor, as he continued by he felt somewthing wizz right by him. Vldorian's tag, it just barely missed, actually scraping his arm just a bit, but his golden metal was too strong to be stuck by such a kunai at that angle. As he handed down and tugged out his chain, Seijika stabbed the exploding kunai at his leg, he kicked it off jsut barely, and smacked Seijika down, rolling to the side avoiding the explosion. It blew away a shoulder panel and part of his leg armor, some shrapnel digging in as well. he stood up grunting, as the water rushed by he dodged, as well part of his legs were hit, he brushed the flaking ice from his armored leg, but his naked leg was not so lucky, it stung from the over frost, but he could still move it barely. he started to growl angrily, he was strong enough to crush anyone of these grunts, but he was being overwhelmed in numbers. Tatsu continued to dash in at Tenma, his genetically enhanced eyes picked up on the movement without any effort. Tenma didn't know the full extent of what Tatsu was, every movement, every detail, he could see, he was givens timulation to all his senses, he was in many senses of the word, a super human. Tenma dodged by Tatsujin, but as his hand whipped in Tatsu shifted and snatched at Tenma's wrist, once again tightening his massive grip, shifting around and driving his fist forward at Tenma's backside (at an angle, so it's kind of his side, kind of his backside, a little bit of halfway), as he drove his first, in a flash of pale light it was outlined by his chakra blade. ooc: once angain, kind of busy ashamed to say im still working on summaries for the time being, i got a lot on my plate. the orc captain avoids most of the attacks but loses two pieces of armor (shoulder and leg), takes some minor frost damage too. tatsujin stops the tag from being palces, grabs for tenma's wrist (the one with the tag) then jabs at him with a chakra blade. and for sleipnir vs bahamut, i just dont have the time. so il only give a summary: Sleipnir manages to dodge by using it's flight again, then leaps at Bahamut and attempts to ram at it with it's horns. |

"I have this in the bag now" Hissori whispered to himself as he did something he thought he'd never do again. Climbing further up into the sky so that he was directly overhead the orc captain some twenty five feet in the air Hissori made his handseals for the exploding wind needle jutsu and released it sending down transparent needles down on the orc captain, the best time to use this attack was in the rain and Hissori had that advantage in spades. However, Hissori wasn;t without his damage, his entire body bleed out everytime he breathed and soon against his will be began to sink lower and lower toward the ground. ah fuck this nonsense man...these needles are the last attack I can do if I still want to use my trump jutsu.....but is that a smart idea? there are still orcs out here and If I kill the captain would that really make any sort of relavant difference....well for now he cant possibly notice the majority of these in time....now lets just see what the rest of them do to help me out Hissori kept himself airborn as his needles finally got within a distance that they could do damage.....he waited till about one fifth of them hit the ground around the captain before exploding the rest of them with the simple command "Kai" SUMMARY: Uses VERY LAST JUTSU OF THE WAR saving power for his trump and current power state, uses exploding needle jutsu and waits for some of them to hit the ground first before exploding the entire thing in a massive explosion that would be hard for orc captain to dodge entierly...hopes that others will be able to help prc captian be too occupied to notice the silent attack from above |

Oh, you saucy temptress...

OOC: Fifth (5) post Bahamut has been out. IC: The tail swing missed, but Bahamut really did expect it this time. Last time, he saw Sleipnir's impressive leap and he knew a simple tail swing wouldn't work so easily. As Sleipnir made its leap, Bahamut spun back around, meeting the sudden shift in Sleipnir's momentum with claws extended. Sleipnir shot forward with its ramming force, but Bahamut grabbed the Lord of Horses' head and neck to stop the ramming force. Now Sleipnir was in serious trouble. Bahamut swung with all its force, tossing Sleipnir upward in a spinning motion as it raced after the out-of-balance beast. Bahamut opened its jaws, about four feet away from Sleipnir's airborne body and let out a powerful roar. Keeping its mouth open, a blue, non-elemental power began to charge. Bahamut had only two more Mega Flares left that he could pull off and if he missed with this one, he wouldn't even consider using Mega Flare on Sleipnir again. If Sleipnir could maneuver away from this Mega Flare in its current, imbalanced state, using another Mega Flare wouldn't be worth it. However, Bahamut was using Mega Flare precisely because the dragon knew Sleipnir wasn't going to be fully prepared for evasion this time. The blast shot out with full force in an attempt to severely cripple Sleipnir. --------- Tenma watched Bahamut's rather amusing stunt as he couldn't help but feel just like Sleipnir now. Unfortunately, Tatsu was just like Bahamut now too. Tenma was in a dangerous, potentially life-threatening situation now and had to act fast. The tag trap was a pointless attempt and now one of his arms was trapped. However, his legs were still free and so were the mithril grieves. Tenma swung his foot into a crescent kick, striking his grieves against Tatsu's arm and forcing the chakra blade off course. Unfortunately for Tenma, the chakra blade still cut across Tenma's back lightly and that pain wouldn't be going away any time soon. Tenma's kick was strong enough and he held his leg pressed against Tatsu's arm to keep it at bay. Tenma was now balancing in the air his right arm held by Tatsu and his right leg keeping Tatsu's left arm useless for attacking. Tenma had to get out of this situation and immediately released a burst of blue fire between his wrist and Tatsu's grip, forcing it open just enough to pull his hand free. Ahh hell... Falling to the ground due to his bad positioning, Tenma was still in a vulnerable position. Spinning his body like a breakdancer's 'flare', Tenma actually sent out a flare of blue fire with his spin. The fire, like before, wouldn't do much to Tatsu, but like usual, Tatsu would feel the intensity of the flames and like before, probably react accordingly with his overshield or releasing the heat via air vents in his armor. Using this brief distraction to his advantage, Tenma pulled back, sticking the tag he had previously on the ground, which would blow up under Tatsu's feet, targeting his armor's knee joints. Skidding back to a halt, Tenma's back was now aching in pain. He was bleeding and that cut slowed Tenma's flare down. Summary: Bahamut catches Sleipnir in mid-ram and tosses the horse into the air in an imbalanced, spinning motion. Bahamut gives chase to the airborne horse, releasing one of its last two remaining Mega Flares. Tenma crescent kicks at the incoming fist, holding it at bay while receiving a light cut across his back from the chakra blade. Releases a burst of fire to create a gap between his wrist and Tatsu's grip. Falls to the ground and releases a Flare to distract Tatsu (read post for details on that) and pulls back to make distance, sticking his tag down under Tatsu's feet and igniting it to target Tatsu's armor's knee joints. |
