Okay the event will be beginning relatively soon, like, this thursday is the date floating around the office (and by office I mean between me and Sacha). Although I've learned never to make a promise, and theres no guarantee my teacher won't Nazi out and load me up with mountains of work, so assuming all goes well......it's on thursday. In the mean time there will be strategy threads, in which members of a given side can enter and discuss battle plans (i know it seems dumb, but go in and you will see why it is important) please don't enter a strategy thread in which you don't belong, it's really just plain stupid and it kills the idea of having seperate strategy. any prick who looks at the other side's thread and posts up: "okay guys they are considering doing this" will have their post deleted and possibly temp banned or even barred from the event. The story synopsis: The Battle of Serikou The orcs make their first move by overthrowing the human forces that are within the orc village and then they march to the west, toward for Serikou (means: arch-duke, a reference to world war one, it began when the archduke ferdinand was shot. I figure the theme fits). It is actually a konoha fort stationed close to the waterfall border, it is also close to the rice country and grass country borders as well (a fort basically meant to survaillance all three countries controlled by the Sound). The orcs want to destroy it so they will be able to move freely between the three countries and strike at all the sound forces without having to worry about the soldiers at Serikou noticing them and alerting konoha. When the orcs strike, the konoha soliders stationed there are completely shocked, scouts saw soldiers marching in the distance and assumed it was a sound battalion, so reinforcements were sent to maximize fort capacity (thus, Cloud and Leaf members are amongst these reinforcments), they expected sound soldiers and instead fight an orc battalion. The sound, getting wind of the events that took place at the orc village immeaditely call for aid from the sand and send soldiers to attack the orcs. Thus making it a three way battle. at the same time, mist ninjas are accepting missions from both sides, they will aid either side in anyway so long as they do not have to directly fight against their own village ninjas. (meaning mist ninjas will help sound ninjas in one area, and leaf ninjas in another, but they will not aid both sides at a given task, as they will end up fighting themselves). This is a 3 way war (4 if you count mist), and teaming up with sound/leaf is not likely to happen unless your just fighting random npc's and not doing a given task. |
