for those who don't know, this was an other rpg, made back on SRPG, it wa sshort but extremely fun and attracted a lot of attention. Probably the most successful Other RPG ever made (special thnx to shin for that). anyway im doing it again, with new people it's sure to turn out differently this time. note: i have never played resident evil in my life, if i make a few mistakes I'm sorry. types of enemies: basic zombie: a human being that has been infected with the T-virus, they are pretty self explanatory. dumb minded, however some do wield weapons from time to time. they are also pretty slow cerberus: dogs infected with the T-virus, unlike humans that become slow and weak zombies. dogs seem to have the opposite symptoms, they grow stronger and faster and far more vicious. crimson head: a variant of human zombies, these can be shot and killed like regular zombies. however after they appear to be dead they will recover and reanimate as a crimson head, being faster and far more dangerous than before. alligators: obviously not commonly found except for natural habitats of alligators, these are rare, but they are also dangerous. an alligator infected with the T-virus grows to massive sizes. Verdugo: only two of these exist in the resident evil world, and that is good news. these are nearly completely bullet proof due to their exoskeleton, they are extremely fast and they brandish whip like tails that have blades at the end. their only known weakness is liquid nitrogen Gigantes- massive zombies, they are EXTREMELY big (hence the name), other than what might be obviously implied, ir eally dont know much about them. weapons: you can have pick from one of these set-ups for your character: 1) 1 main weapon, 1 secondary weapon, and 1 accessory 2) 3 secondaries and 1 accessory 3) 2 mains main weapons: shotgun- kinda simple, extremely devastating, but only as close range. kind of heavy and bulky, also slow. good against basic zombies rocket launcher- extrememly powerful, but the heaviest and slowest weapon, not good for tight areas, but works wonders against crowds. i wouldn't suggest taking this unless you pick a really good secondary. assault rifle- a modern military assault rifle, it's accurate, it's fast, it's strong and easy to reload. most soliders covet this weapon as the most practical, it's only downfall is that it won't do much damage to a zombie unless it is a headshot (as rockets and shotguns will tear them apart even if its not a head shot, an assault rifle won't) sniper rifle- also rather slef explanatory, good for extremely long range, doesn't do much unless its a direct head shot. good for covering fire, terrible for close range use dual wield sub machine guns- similar to the assault rifle, but these have far less range, power, capacity and accuracy, they spray bullets like theres no tomorrow, and will tear zombies to shreds. only useful if theya re dual wielded, otherwise they are just way to weak. flame thrower- also kind of obvious, similar to the shotgun in that it's good for crowds and close range. also.........really fucking cool.... chainsaw- okay seriously figure it out............ minigun- large machine gun, requires some spooling. nearly as heavy as a rocket launcher. dual pistols- duh!! secondaries- grenades- makes large explosion and makes a lot of shrapnel, be careful these can end up hurting friends if not used properly single pistol- duh!!! knife- bigger duh!! axe- like a fire-fighter's axe. smoke grenades- good for sneaking away from zombies and/or hiding flash bangs- makes a massive flash of light which is blinding for a few seconds and a deafening sound, this will make the zombies even MORE dumbstruck than they already are, but these got a shit load of range, they cane asily end up hitting you too. accesories: bullet proof vest- good against bullets, and can help against zombie bites camoflogue- special suit meant to help blend in while in an urban environment, not good against most humans, but dumb ass zombies will fall for it every time. silencer- a silencer that can be added to a pistol, sub machine gun, or assault rifle medicine- an antidote that can cure the T-virus if you or a teammate is bitten by a zombie. use it wisely it's not unlimited. laser dot aimer- a projected laser that makes aiming a breeze, good for pistols and assault rifles. hopefully a few people other than myself and shin were around for this (i dont really think anyone else partook in it), but i can tell you, the original was fucking great, everyone loved it so much. if you wanna join just post up a small profile for a character (name, age, weapon setup, and a really really brief bio if you want). after a few people join il start it off. edit-------- almost forgot the premise is that we are within racoon city, and we must escape within 48 hours, before the city is nuclear bombed in order to contain the virus. not sure which one thats from, but i know thats basically what we did last time. Commonly known as Big Pappa Freeman, Devon was allways a local town favorite. Since the outbreak he has been one of the lucky ones considering his entire family was visiting relatives outside of the infection area leaving Devon with no family ties to cloud his judgement. However, that doesnt mean that Devon won't sacrifice himself for the aid of a fellow local in town. ooc: been itching to bring it back, figured there was no reaosn not to, lol (plus i've been bored all day) Name: Warren Crow Age: 52 Bio: Warren is a hardened Vietnam veteran, one of the few survivors of the Tet offensive. He is somewhat of a recluse, because during the war most of his friends died right in front of him, after the war he married a Vietnamese who, several months later was gunned down in America by an ex-soldier who was suffering from shell shock. Every since Warren has had few acquaintences, due to his past trauma. However this life style prooved quite an advantage during the outbreak, he was not easily thrown by blood and gore, and thus was able to stay collected alond with his military training and natural survivor instinct he has stayed alive so far. All in all Warren is not a bad person, he just finds it hard to open to others after watching so many people die in such horrifying ways, while he is not thrown by gore and such due to past experience, on occasion certain scenes may trigger memories in him which may cause him to go into incredible rage or have a panic attack, he has been told on several occasions to seek treatment for his mental condition or at least find some kind of medication, but he is rather stubborn. weapons: FN-SCAR-H: a battle rifle that fires powerful 7.65x51mm rounds. It has interchangable barrels in order to adjust to situations (CQC, standard and distance). KM-2000: New combat knife designed in Germany, it is state of the art, for grip and endurance, it also has a glas breaker on the bottom of the handle (good for shattering windows and such) Dragon skin vest- the newest form of bullet proof vest, it is actually not used by armed forces due to contracts between the government and the producers of current military supplies, but none the less dragon skin armor is the best. It uses small metal places to spread pressure from bulelts or other attacks, making it far stronger than most bullet proof vests (enough to take armor piercing rounds, and even stop grenade shrapnel......although the latter is not recommended). But most importantly, because it does not use plating, it can be used over and over. Name: Bryan Fontaine Age: 21 Bio: Bryan is in Racoon City as a film major, hoping to be the next Speilburg or Scorsese. He was returning to his two-bit appartment when his neighbor, who was infected, attacked him. Grabbing his pocket knife out of self defence, Bryan was able to keep himself safe. After hiding out in the basement of hte appartment building he left to try and find some answers. After raiding a near empty weapons shop he came out with a machete with a sheath (like in RE:E), and a sub-machine gun with many bullets for it. Luckily one of the residents in the appartment complex was a doctor who figured out a cure and passed it on to Bryan before his death. He wanted action and so he went to his fathers gun shop and took a sniper rifle and his favorite knife. The zombies had already killed his father, a reason he stayed back. His father had given him a laser dot aimer as a gift because he father knew he was going to die anyways and wanted his son, doug, to have it since he knew he was good with snipers. Name: Eric Lensington Age: 27 Bio: Eric was part of the 4th division US Marine Corp and is a private first-class. When the outbreak of the T-Virus was about, a platoon was sent to help the local authorities deal with the zombies. Eric was separated from his platoon and was assumed dead, but in the end, Eric's entire platoon was dead except for him. Although he was only private first-class, the situation allowed the government to issue him some better equipment. Weapons: M4A1 (assault rifle) - The A1 version can switch between semi-automatic to fully automatic. It is a very powerful assault rifle, and it is a standard issue to most Marines, and attached to it is an M203 grenade launcher. Eric only has 4 rounds for it though. M9 Handgun - A standard issue for Marines. IOTV - Short for Improved Outer Tactical Vest, this ballistic vest replaced the Interceptor Body Armor as a lighter model for improved mobility, however it still has the same function. |

Bryan looked around, holding his sub-machine gun close as he stepped out of the shadows, he brushed his finger under his nose and sniffed as he scratched this chafed skin under his neck. "God damnit...came here to try and start new in life...get fucked in the ass by some...zombie things...funny world eh?" Bryan asked to himself as he laughed then ran quickly across to the building across from where he was. Bryan looked around and pulled out whatever food was available. "Hmm...Tostitos..." He looked around, glancing at jars he shook his head and then threw them back. They shattered on the ground behind him. "What no Salsa?" Glancing at another jar he laughed and pulled it close, "Here we are..." After about twelve minutes working on the lid, nothing; so carefully he placed the jar on the floor then got on one knee and shot the living salsa out of that car. Taking his tostitos he dipped a chip in there and ate, "Yum..." "rrr..." "Ah shit!" Bryan turned around and then tripped over the jar, falling on his ass as his gun fired everywhere. Looking at the counter, Bryan stood, rubbing his but as he looked over the counter slowly just to be jumped at by another of these creatures. Pistol whipping the creature in the face then filling it with bullets as he shot blindly over the counter. "Whoo..." Bryan sighed and then took whatever he needed, filling his back pack with it, Bryan went back across the street and mounted his black motorcycle and zoomed off in search of ther survivors. |

The sun had just touched the horizon as it prepared itself for nighttime. Nighttime was one of the worst if not the worst time of raccoon city. Doug was sitting on a grocery store roof top. His heart pumping wildly from adrenaline. It hands sweaty, but he still had a strong firm grip on his sniper rifle. Doug sat back on the top listening to his music through his headphones, leaning back on his chair not worrying about his surrounding. Where he was at there was mainly dumass zombies, and he was on top of the store which required a 15 foot ladder. Doug looked down on the wet and damped street, because at night it tends to get really moist. There was also bright lights shining from the lamp post. There was a lot of dead zombie bodies here and there all with their heads blown off by Doug's sniper rifle. There was a sad moan about 50 feet away. He wasn't in range for Doug to hear, but since Doug had his attention on the road he looked left and right as well to see any wanderers. Doug's Sniper in his both his hands. He placed the scope to his eyes quickly and without hesitation he pulled the trigger with his index finger and the bullet released from its barrel. In an instant the bullet reached the skull of the zombie, going through the skull with ease, puncturing through the brain and out the back. The zombie fell to ite knee then fell to the side and dropped dead. Doug rocketed out of his chair dropping his gun on the floor, screaming. "BOOM HEADSHOT!, BOOM HEADSHOT!!!!" Doug sat down and clapped his hand, it was like a pat on the back for him. The clap made a loud echoing noise, the sound traveling through the night. Doug took out his knife and got up again. He also took of his headphones because if he wasn't looking down on the streets he had to take them off. He began playing around with it stabbing the air doing what he could to past time till morning. Doug doesn't really have anyone else to he has to limit his sleeping. It was only until he could get in contact with someone. |

Name: Jude Alders Age: 17 Appearance: Posted Image Weapons: Main - Homemade flame-thrower : Actually made himself a flame thrower with uses canisters of AXE body spray as magazines for the flame thrower. Secondary - Magnum: His father collected guns before the outbreak and his family was devoured, leaving Jude the option to take his dad's prized magnum handgun for practical purposes. Accessory - Camoflauge: Taken from a special forces truck that had been unattended in the streets, stealing and getting caught by humans was worse than being seen by zombies in his mind. Bio: He had just started his senior year in school before the outbreak, people had always thought of him as an outcast because he was constantly thinking of plans and preparing for a zombie apocalypse. Now he laughs at the cool kids' corpses and dances over their graves while holding his flame thrower. He had been right about it and was prepared. He is basically a loose cannon and the only reason he has access to his weaponry is by circumstance, except for the flame thrower which is a work of applied craftsmanship genius. Devon walked the streets of Racoon city in a slow and poised demeanor. He had been evading Zombies all morning not once striking out at the decrepid creatures for one VERY important reason 'not one of them are worth the waste of energy' he thought to himself. He had been rather lucky. The sluggish like undead were very capable of being avoided and Devon knew this almost too well at this point. Hell the human being is able of some pretty damn good comon sense perception and for devons sake....no running and no fighting meant more energy for other important tasks, like looking for survivors. Reaching the fire house only a few blocks from his fourth floor apartment Devon allowed himself entrace by heaving a metal garbage can through the front office window making sure not to cut himself open when he climbed in and through to the large building. The first thing he went for was the shotgun in the commanders semi private office along with the back sling and about eight sleeves of bullets that easily fit into a duffle bag that was slung across his back like a hipsetrs NORTH face backpack. As for the shotgun, its new home was across Devons chest the butt of the gun resting snuggly adjacent to his right side allowing him the ease of lifting and blasting right away if anything of the sort was necessary. Devon who was already in his fire resistant leggins and boots decided on red suspenders and a black form fitting undershirt from his lockers to complete his outfit as he casually walked out of the fire house leaving the stupid option of comandeering a fire truck "Too much publicity fucked with Bitney Spears imagine what it would do to me now" Devon murmered to himself as he got back onto the street with a smirk on his face. A well deserved laugh emitted from his strong midsection. He knew he wouldnt have the option to laugh very often in this situation so he took what he could get at the moment. His target was the raccoon city police department only seven blocks south of the fire house. unfortuatley though Devon knew that those seven blocks would be riddled with the walking dead and his passive ways would soon be switched to an all out offensive effort to stay alive. As he walked foward he wondered if he really was the only survivor in the whole city. OOC: Thats a pretty good set up point if any of y'all wanna meet up there....but this is kinda for Raive and shin to respond to because in my honest oppinion im only here for them the rest of y'all suck edge wise.......................................just kidding.....................kinda |
