OOC: Since my partner has not posted in the past three days, I will move on to help out with these big guys. Seijika once thought that some of these attacks were effective against the powerful Sentinels. Once these four bigger ones formed out of the bits and pieces of Sentinels, that notion was completely destroyed. He could only watch in at the sheer size at all of them. Wait a minute, this wasn't the time to have awe stun him. One of them was raising its hands for an aimless strike onto the ground, which was way too dangerously close for his comfort. He began bolting away, but he had a small stuck in the back of his head. As he ran, he whipped out a kunai and an exploding tag and made the classic exploding kunai. As soon as the large Sentinel dropped his hands, Seijika dove forward and sort of twisted so that his back was facing the ground. Luckily, he avoided the minor quake. Let's see how you like an explosion to your head. As the ground and snow were imploding, he threw the exploding kunai straight for the Sentinel's face. His academy teacher would have yelled at him for the bad technique. Now wasn't the time for perfect technique, however. Instead, Seijika had no time to see what impact the explosion had. Instead, he was more concerned about the hundreds of chunks of ice that were shot upward. When he landed, he used the momentum to roll onto his feet and continued his sprint. As soon as he saw two nin conversing with each other (Ki and Akira), he turned his sprint towards them. But just as soon as he thought he was safe, a large chunk of ice, the size of small shack, decided to land right in front of him. Thinking quickly, he jumped and somersaulted over the chunk and landed behind it. It wasn't exactly the best land, for his hip, the bad one, was the first contact on the ground, and he rolled his way towards the two nin. Stopping right at their feet, he looked up, breathing heavily from the run and the pain in his leg. "Hi, I'm Seijika. Nice to meet you." |

For a while Garnet didnt move or say anything. Once the Sentinel quickly backed off it didnt seem to right to Garnet. He didnt know why suddenly half way through a fight it would just leave. Garnet stood there in the coldness thinking of reasons why it could of left the only things he could of thought of was if they were trying to recruit and go attack everyone as a large group, Or because something thats controlling them told them to back off because of the loss of the Sentinels numbers. As Garnet turned around to talk to Sei he noticed he was not there anymore, Garnet was all alone he couldnt sense anyones Chakra but he could sense something coming towards him. With a way to much amount of chakra then the Sentinels that he had fought before. " Something is stronger then those Sentinels... I had trouble matching to one of them let alone having to take something much stronger then one of them on my own!" Before he could tell what the thing actually was he didnt want to face it so he decided to flee in the other direction to find help. As he was running he noticed that the thing following him was catching up and at pretty fast speeds. He could tell this before noises of like sloshing tails was being heard in the distance and getting louder and louder.. Garnet could see 3 figures ahead and wondered if it might of been Sei with someone. And it was it was Sei and 2 other shinobi whom he could not quite notify of. As Garnet got right towards Sei he needed to tell him about whats coming towards him. " Sei, there is....Something very large and very strong coming towards us. And i knew straight away it was way stronger then those Sentinels that we have been fighting and with You the other two Shinobis here and me i think we might be able to take it down if we just work as a team." As Garnets breathing got heavier and heavier as the large object got closer and as it got about 20 meters away from him he could see it clearly. It was massive he couldnt tell the size straight off but it was huge and its tail took up 3/4ths of its size so it Garnet could tell that its week point would most likely be around its smallish body which was about the size of Garnet. " Lets do this guys..." |

Kintaro led the sentinel away from his teammates as they attacked it. He kept running away from it, hoping they would do more damage to stop it. The monster was hit in the leg by on of Akio's attacks and started to slow down. It was hit right in the back of the knee. Kintaro turned around, facing the great sentinel and was going to attack. He lifted his Soshiken with great strength and started to charge towards it. He ran at great speeds while trying to run underneath the sentinels leg. He ran underneath its legs and came up for an attack from behind. He jumped, doing a back flip and landed on the monsters back. He was unstable for a moment but then caught onto the sentinels huge armor. He brought his Soshiken back and swung it as fast as he could towards the back area. He immediately jumped off of the sentinel after his attack, waiting to see its reaction. |

OOC: Sorry didnt mean to referr to them as that IC: Seisho saw he had a distraction to aid him, he took it as the best time for an up close strike, he warned the others to stay back but he was going to let himself take a hit if needed, seisho wasn't letting anyone get hurt on his watch, seisho jumped form his pillar throwing 3 kunai and begining to spin in a 360, the 3 kunai scattered around the sentinal, seisho began to spin faster unsheathing his sword, yellow blades of chakra began to swirl around him they looked strong and sharp, it was seisho's most reliable technique in close corders, he bagn to get close as he finally reached max speed and became an orb of bladed chakra destruction, unvealing this technique to his new opponent that had worked well on his last "TATSUGA!" Lets see you get by tatsuuga! |

The Blood Saint
|
Takeshi listened carefully as Saiyuki gave him his orders, working with him before had given him the opportunity to see his ability for strategy and Takeshi placed his full confidence in the tactics Saiyuki was employing. Attack the base of the neck, alright.... As Saiyuki finished speaking Takeshi ran around the creature dodging it's wildly swinging scythe, his bloodline shining in his eyes. As he ran he saw the other parts of the plan begin to take action, such as binding it with chains and attacking of the legs. He knew he had to connect with some decent techniques to complete the formation, it was a good thing he had been storing energy all the while. He had reached it's blind spot: the back of the beast. He ran full speed at it and jumped onto it's back close to his target, it must have been distracted because it payed him no attention. "Nijuu-tsuppari jutsu (Double thrust jutsu)" His fists connect with the target spot with tremendous force due to the sheer amount of energy he had been absorbing this while on the battlefield and he bounced off of it from recoil. He then proceeded to continue the assault on it's neck with his shockwaves. "Chisoku-kei jutsu (Speed whip jutsu)" Over the years his aim had become almost precise with this techniques and the five shockwaves he had released all hit on or very near to the base of the neck. He was now falling and had to concentrate on landing. He twisted his body in such a way that he was able to land on all fours for easy recovery. I hope that was good enough "Saiyuki , is it dropping ?!" He yelled to his comrade to see if their plan had come to fruition. |

ooc: okay i typed a massive post explaining the intel sentinel's actions, and not once, but TWICE i had to type it and TWICE the site pooped out and more or less told me to fuck off, and then my entire post was gone. So I'll basically just summarize: the intel sentinel used it's massive processing power to figure out the explosion held no threat within less than a second, he then figured out the chakra type and muscle mass/speed/size ratios to every opponent near him. It then figured out the rotation speed and velocity of Seisho's attacking, dodging perfectly then destroying the pillars. Yea i know it's brief and has no details, but i dare you to type as much as i did twice and not get pissed off........if you don't like my lack of patients then go complain to the world, cuz if you complain to me, I'll just ignore you to death Kin back flipped avoiding the falling rubble from the pillars, he grit his teeth under his scarf. He wasn't even sure he'd have been able to get away from that attack without being hurt, even he was distracted by the explosion, but the time he turned and saw the rest of the attack he enarly missed it. He would have missed the entire thing too, but somehow Anbou saw it coming, Anbou gave him some kind of wordless urge to turn elsewhere, he had learned to trust those wordless urges as well. Despite the lack of human shape or speech, Anbou seemed to be a far superior ninja than Kin was, and if theory was correct, Anbou held all his potential. "guys, this thing, it doesn't have any movement patterns...it's.....it's not predictable at all!" how the hell are we supposed to hurt it, the other ones were hard enough to fight, but this big one doesn't even seem like it is putting in effort at all Kin lifted his head to look around the battle field, most ninjas were still engaged with the basic sentinels, and there were small groups fighting against the larger ones which were all scattered elsewhere. Something about the odds suddenly dropping gave him a thrill, like he was almost enjoying it. "....I'm gonna have to bring out the big guns this time..." Kin whispered to himself. "Anbou you ready" Kin felt the wordless emotion of "you know it" he couldn't see Anbou, but he knew he was definetly grinning with pure bloodlust. Kin's chakra flared up, and shadow began to swirl around his body violently, Anbou materialized behind him, swirling into physical form like a genie. The intel sentinel lowered to the ground, and then turned it's head to face toward Kin. "come on, speak, WORDS MOTHER FUCKER, DO YOU SPEAK EM!!!??" Kin shouted as he and Anbou lunged into the air. |

Oh, you saucy temptress...

OOC: Alright, I've seen almost every genin in the Strength Sentinel Fight do this so far so I'll stop with the PM's and just make an OOC. Do not forget that you are fighting a Sentinel Captain who is at a jounin/elite jounin skill level. For multiple genin to successfully strike the Strength Sentinel would be rather impressive, but the fact that all of you (or almost all of you) made your own attacks connect is ridiculous. For the Sentinel captain of jounin strength to connect an attack on a genin is very plausible, but not the other way around. Please avoid making your attacks connect against a higher ranked enemy. And I believe one unnamed rper also chose to determine whether the Sentinel noticed the genin's presence or not. Avoid that as well; I can control the sentinel just fine. Thank you. IC: Multiple attacks were now coming at the Strengh Sentinel, who was still moving toward Kintaro. A sudden flurry of chains latched onto his legs as the beast halted in place, turning slightly. Saiyuki had thought of a clever plan to try to bring the Strength Sentinel down, but he miscalculated one factor... he was fighting the Strength Sentinel Captain. This beast was far more heavy than any other Sentinel and a little bit of gravity manipulation would not help a genin-strengthed shinobi to drag this colossus down. The beast lifted its scythe, slamming it down on the chains with tremendous power, snapping the chains in two instantly. Next came Aiko's electrical attack. The Strength Sentinel swung its scythe, striking away the needles. If his enemies had not noticed by now, this scythe was the main reason their attacks would almost always fail. His scythe was his ultimate power source other than his physical prowess. He managed to stop the needles, but Aiko's next attack was coming to the upper body (whereas the scythe was guarding the lower body at the moment). The blast struck the beast's back, forcing it to "stumble" forward a bit. Regaining its composure, Kintaro was quicker to react as it slipped through the beast's legs, going to attack his back. However, Kintaro seemed to have momentarily paused in order to regain balance and the Strength Sentinel took that opportunity to deflect Kintaro's slash with a swing of the scythe. The Strength Sentinel was beginning to turn around to face Saiyuki's direction. The assaults were not over though. Now Takeshi was coming and seemed to be going for an up-close attack with his bear fists. The strike connected with his back and the beast gave a terrifying roar of anger. "RRRRRRRRAAAAAARGH!" The strike did its damage, mostly because Aiko already fried the beast's back with his electrical assault, but the recipient of the majority of the damage would be Takeshi. The assault struck the thoroughly durable outer shell of the Strength Sentinel Captain and it was not just the recoil that sent Takeshi back. His hands would be aching in pain for doing such an attack. The Sentinel wanted its revenge for the strike regardless though. Having fully turned its body by now, the Sentinel grabbed Takeshi before he could go flying too far and tightened his grip, squeezing Takeshi. Keeping him held for another three seconds, the Sentinel then wound up, throwing the genin directly at Aiko. Because of Aiko's powerful electrical attack, Aiko was the main threat. Tossing Takeshi with great force, he threw him directly in the way of Aiko's thrown kunai. Takeshi would slam into the kunai, potentially receiving a cut, and then hopefully crash straight into Aiko, who had his steel umbrella up and would potentially (not definitely) not see Takeshi flying directly at him. --------- Taiteki was stunned to say the least at how responsive the Intelligence Sentinel was to all the incoming attacks. However, his shock was expected since he did not know how intelligent the beast was, hence its title, "The Intelligence Sentinel". Large chunks of what was previously a magnificent pillar were flying at him now and Taiteki did not have time to evade. "Ayatsuri no Hada!" Timing his counter, he slammed an open-palm knife hand at each boulder coming his way, repelling them with the manipulation of his arm's weight. It was not a costly task, but because of the number of times he had to do it at once, it was slightly strenuous. Repelling a good six pillar chunks directly back at the Intelligence Sentinel, Taiteki failed to strike three pillars as two slammed full force into him and one just missed him by a few inches. "What a beast....! Kuro-san? Whoa!" Taiteki had never seen Kuro's Anbou before and the sudden appearance was a shocker. Taiteki quickly followed suit, prepared to back Kuro (and Anbou) up. Moving directly behind Kuro and using Anbou's larger frame as an 'object' to hide behind, he hoped the Intel Sentinel would not see him so he could pull off a surprise attack. Wherever Kuro and Anbou chose to attack, Taiteki would attack from the directly opposite side and attack at the exact same time that Kuro/Anbou went to strike. Hopefully this would force the Intel Sentinel to take a decent hit. Taiteki would slam a horde of strikes into the Sentinel, using Ayatsuri no Hada to make his attacks swift and very powerful. He just hoped they could catch this beast off guard. |

Umbrella User of The Mist

Takeshi's yells were heard by Akio while descending at a incredible rate towards Akio. Akio tilted his umbrella and saw Takeshi flying straight for him. Akio than injected Tsubame with chakra and the top of the umbrella began to spin rapidly. Wind was created by the umbrella like a fan and somewhat softened Takeshi's crash landing. Takeshi made impact with Akio but, Akio had been ready for that. Akio quickly got up suffering bruises or even some broken ribs. Akio helped Takeshi get up on his feet as well. Akio was uncertain of Takeshi's health. "Are you okay?" Akio noticed a kunai was stuck to his back he had gave Takeshi a gesture suggesting that Akio would rip the kunai from Takeshi's back. Akio quickly removed the kunai and closed his umbrella. He put Takeshi on his back and held his umbrella with his left hand and quickly tried to evade the colossus before being subject to more damage. Akio than took his headset to alert Saiyuki. "Saiyuki, give me some cover so I can lead Takeshi to safety." After addressing Saiyuki he asked Takeshi if he could still fight, Akio was waiting intently for an answer since, the shinobi needed all the help they could get to bring down this beast. |

OCC: Sorry about that, Dem. And I'm not going to post as Akira until Hero posts as Ki. Hmm......it is getting angered......good. Saiyuki smiled, even though his chains broke. He quickly started gathering the broken/pieces or the particles to him so as to be able to reuse them again. The Strength Sentinel had roared in pain and this earned a smile on Saiyuki's face. He had to hand it to the genin that he was fighting with. Saiyuki would rely on them to do the attacking. However, one thing that ticked Saiyuki off was how the Sentinel treated Takeshi. However, Akio had been fast enough to prevent any lasting damage from happening. However, they both didn't look like they were in the optimal condition to keep fighting. But Saiyuki was thankful that Takeshi's fall did not amount to as much damage as he thought would happen. He nodded to Akio. However, having just Kintaro and Saiyuki here would not be enough to stop this now angry clossus. However, Saiyuki merely vented his frustration and anger into forming his jutsu. As he raised his hands, glimmering blue/black/gray weapons of various kinds appeared in the air (different shades combined) around Saiyuki. Then he turned to Akio. It seems tactical manuevers and clever tricks will not work here. We only have one option left. Deliver as much damage as we can without getting too badly damaged ourselves. "Akio, once you get Takeshi to safety, return and keep using your electrical attacks on its body, preferably the back, where you already caused a decent amount of damage if you can manuever around it. Kintaro, attack again after I move." Saiyuki then raised his arm. The weapons that he made using Keisei no Ryuushi gathered in the air above him. Then he lowered his arm and pointed it towards the Sentinel. The weapons immediately flew at it. Saiyuki then started to concentrate to try to make his aim as precise as possible. He sent two awkward looking small blades at each its feet, one lance at the hand that was around the scythe, two swords towards its head and he sent three of them spinning around it and towards its back. Saiyuki also kept his eye on the Sentinel's scythe. If it moved to block Saiyuki's wave of weapons, Saiyuki would have to manipluate as many of his weapons as he could to change target and go for whatever was open. Upon impact, they would stick into the Sentinel. The impact would hurt by themselves, but if his attacks connected, they would be a time bomb that Saiyuki could choose to blow up at any moment. Of course, if the Sentinel tried to remove the weapons, assuming that they hit and became stuck in the Sentinel, they would blow up in a compressed gravity field, which while was not like the fiery explosions of an exploding tag, would explode in a manner that seemed like the particles within the field were being forced to seperate and break apart from each other. Of course, taking into account the Sentinel's body, Saiyuki doubted he would be able to rip apart the body parts he was aiming for, but it would hopefully be very painful, and might be even able to create an opening in its armor/shell. "Kintaro! Once my jutsu connects, attack him from the back!" Doing this is taking a bit of toll on my chakra supply, though I still have well over half...but I should watch it and leave the attacking up to the rest of them while I keep an eye on the situation. But we will need Akio and Takeshi to return to keep up our assault..... Edited by Saiyuki, Jun 5 2008, 09:50 PM.

The Blood Saint
|
OOC: Sorry, i forgot that it was controlled for a bit. Takeshi had completely underestimated the strength of the beast which led to a series of events that caused him to crash into Akio. A few of his ribs were bruised or broken and he had a small cut on his back from where Akio's kunai had accidentally struck. His fists were in an enormous amount of pain from punching the creature, it's endurance was top notch and he would need to step it up a level. Akio was leading him a bit away from the creature. "Thanks for the hand, but I'm going to continue fighting. If I let these minor injuries keep me down we won't make too much progress against this thing." He heard Saiyuki yell to Kintaro but Takeshi planned to help them out from where he was, he would not join the close combat again yet, he needed time for his fists to heal. He began releasing shockwaves with his Chisoku-kei jutsu at various point of it's body hoping to distract it from Saiyuki's technique and from the attacks of the others that were sure to follow. If I can at least try to make sure that their attacks hit then I will try as hard as I can... |
