Innocence's eyes widened as the needles came down upon her from the sky She didn't know how many there were, but a few of them crash landed on her backside. Others slammed into the ground beside her. Innocence groaned in pain as five needles slammed into her back and two more hit her legs. Some grazed her cloak, but nothing tore the skin underneath. Thankfully nothing hit anything major or else she would be in trouble. A distraction? How could he have known? It's not like i made it obvious. Kuso... Innocence knew that Xi was trying to break her concentration and her chakra did waver for a split second upon impact but she was too focused for it to be easy for him to escape her jutsu. She looked up and narrowed her eyes on him. Forcing more chakra into the jutsu, she tried to twist his memories into something torturous. Something that would make him crash to his knees and make his skin ache. She knew she needed to make him weak.

Innocence knew she couldn't keep it up much longer, with the pain of the needles stinging her back and the ice cold ground at her front, she wouldn't be able to concentrate enough. So she released her genjutsu on him. Besides he had been in there long enough for her to pull a move. She quickly pushed up off the ground and placed her hand out beside her. The water in her hand froze in the form of a large rope over top of some of the needles. Before the water had frozen completely it had grasped some of the needles along with it, forming a spiked club. Innocence smirked.

I could get used to this ice thing... Her eyes blazed a fierce color as she ran towards a disoriented Xi. Jumping into the air she swung the spiked club down towards his face before spinning around backwards to deliver a spinning back kick. She then did a back hand spring to back away from him. Quickly she reached into her kunai holster and and pulled out two kunai. With the flick of her wrist she aimed them towards Xi, before charging in again. She ran slightly hunched as she was closer to the ground as she quickly pulled out her daggers and made a X as she slashed at Xi's torso. She then spun on her back foot as she ducked down, attempting to knock the shinobi off his feet.

"Your going to have to work harder than that you filthy Armonian if you believe that you can defeat me!" She whispered in a harsh tone.

Weakened! She is about to possibly lose concentration....or not.

Xi suddenly fell to the ground and quickly stood up and opened his eyes and noticed Innocence around to strike Xi in the head with a huge weapon, unknown at this time. He bent backwards and turned sideways, but it had a bit more of a range, and the spikes which were his needles, cut his cheek and shoulder about an inch in on the shoulder and a gash on his cheek. He rolled to the side, but then a kick followed. Xi twisted around and put his arms in front of himself and his arms to the kick, and he rolled, then rolled backwards and stretched out and flung back more. But with that, he fell. Xi could not keep a perfect balance from those quick actions on the ice, as well as he wanted. There was much water that was placed on the ice around them, but since it froze, it became a new icy land. Xi got up and wiped his cheek off and spit a little blood since it went through slightly into his inner mouth. He smirked, and he under estimated her a bit to begin with, but now he did not. She was a fierce opponent, and he knew what to do. It seemed she had not stopped from her attack and he made about two hand seals and placed his hands forward as blood gushed out his left shoulder. It hurt but he needed to do this. Suddenly water seeped up and formed a bow and one arrow in front of him, but quickly turned to ice. Quickly he pulled out a tag and put it in his hand. He grasped the bow with his left hand and the arrow with his right, as soon as he could, and put it into formation with the tag slapped onto the arrow.

"Suiton: Shinsei Mizu - Divinity Water!"

Xi said to himself and cocked the arrow back and used one finger secretively put one chakra string on the arrows end. He watched Innocence about to stop, and then he projected the bow about one foot right in front of her, and then put some chakra into the arrow. He let go of the arrow and it soared, as it took off, the chakra inside of it excreted and a wave in the front of it made a circular blast in front of the arrow as it progress. The wave was about five feet in diameter in front of the arrow, and from its target right now, if she did not move from that position, she would get about two feet's worth of chakra burns, cuts, gashes, and a huge force pushed on her, possibly to the ground. Yet if she kept going she would b directly hit by the arrow and chakra. But there was one more scenario, if she some how missed the whole thing, Xi could either release the tag on it, or even use his string to move the arrow back to her direction if done right, or her general area. Xi suddenly dropped the bow and it basically fell apart from the pressure of the chakra from the jutsu. He pulled out a kunai with one hand and kept one finger extended, but barely noticeable. He winced a bit, and once he got the time, he needed to heal his wounds, with his jutsu. Yet for right now he needed to stay right here.

Somehow you will be getting this Innocence, but I am not going to lie, there is something about you. A feeling I keep getting, like I know you.

Innocence watched as her second string of attacks failed to pull through due to the fact that she had struck him well enough the first time. She smiled under the hood of her cloak as she watched blood spill from his shoulder. She was getting somewhere. But the fact that he was still moving alot was slightly annoying. She jumped back from her position on the ground and did another two back flips to gain distance from him. Thats when she saw it. She watched in awe and horror as he made a water jutsu which instantly froze. It froze in the form of a bow and arrow.

Kuso...A water user like me. Was he afraid to use his jutsu before due to the temperature...or was he holding back? How many other elements can he whield? Water seems like his primary one...it flows more freely. But there is no chakra interlaced with it that i can detect. A bloodline? Has he been decieving me this whole time? Xi of Armonia...who are you really? Innocence was snapped out of her thought when her sonar jutsu kicked in again. The entire area around her and Xi turned black and white only to her eyes. White circles pulsated from her position and narrowed in on the arrow in Xi's hand. She could see the tiny bits of chakra being pushed into the jutsu. And when he fired she could see how potentially dangerous the tip of the arrow would be if it drew too close. She cut left, moving out and away from her original position as the arrow flew towards that spot. She made her way around towards Xi.

She ran towards the side where she had struck him. Raising her left dagger she made a diagonal slash for his chest and the attempted to thrust her other dagger into his wounded shoulder, making it deeper.

Lets see how fast you move now Xi...

OOC: My last post until others post, you should be able to post once more, than we must stop.

IC:

Haha, face your back towards it, Innonence.

Xi smirked as he twitched his finger forward and the string let out more and made the arrow twist around to the exact opposite direction, which was towards Innocence's back. After it shifted it's position Xi let the flow of the chakra string release and then he ducts and noticed her do for his wounded shoulder, but he took the kunai and shoved it up through the bottom part of the 'X' which would basically break apart the two daggers. After that he darted back and then to his right to get out of the way if she suddenly missed the arrow and it went for him, or it went through her. Xi smirked and pulled out a ice bomb, and tossed it to his side to possibly hurt her even more. The bomb bounced on the ground near her feet, and it would soon blow up. The events were turning into Xi's favor. The bomb, the arrow, are all in place. Either she gets cut by the bomb's ice, drilled by the arrow, hurt by the tag explosion, or nothing at all.

Innocence, something about you....why does it seem so wrong to attack you? But I need to, you are a Covenant member!

Xi thought as he noticed suddenly his left hand was cut along both sides from the dagger's blades when he tried to evade the worst of the formation. He flicked his hand and blood fell to the ice and started to stain it. He was dripping blood as a slow pace from his shoulder and cheek, but not a major death threatening wound. He slid on the ice and stopped and watched the attacks unfold. He knew the satisfaction of the attacks, but also the odd feelings he got from her presence. The arrows chakra blast may have died down a bit, but it still can do some damage, and possibly bring her down if hit. No matter Xi took his hand and held it up to his shoulder wound and sighed. He made two one-handed hand seals and made his palm flat out. Suddenly a green light of chakra lit up his shoulder. The skin started to release its natural skin repairing chemicals faster now, and the chakra was patching it up, a bit. It was slowly working and if she somehow manages to get free of his combination then he would have to stop early and have a half healed wound, but it is better than a fully open one. Xi sighed again as his chakra was below three quarters, but higher than half of it left. Xi was breathing a bit heavily and was bleeding still from his cheek but less from his shoulder now. He had some burns on his legs and arms, but overall he was still able to stay in combat.

Shousen Jutsu - Mystical Hand Technique. I need to conserve more chakra if she plans to keep going. I have over half, but using chakra as much as I have been lately, it will not be that good.

Several minutes had passed by of the two clashing back and forth scythe and sword, they were close to equally matched, but somehow there was the feeling that they were both holding back. Waiting for the other to truly get the need to pull out some more stops. Itami had escaped an explosion by flipping up onto the large pire at the center of the city then dashed upwards to avoid more attacks. As he enared the top a glowing aura caught his eye.

huh? what's that!?

Deceit took off into a wicked dash, darting straight up the pire he caught the same aura in his eye, but he was not filled with question, he knew what it was right away. And he knew that letting Deceit get it could be disastrous. As Deceit arrived at the top and found the hilt of the sword suspended in a small recess he reached his hand it and pulled it out, just like that, it was like picking junk up off the floor. Zeta grit his teeth and went to dash in again, but stopped himself quickly, he couldn't see Deceit's face but he knew whatever face was under that hood was smiling wildly now.

"hooo...anxious aren't we..........seems like you wanted this pretty bad, bad enough to run right in at me without an attacks..........I wonder, is this what your after?? Is this why your down here?"

Deceit started tossing it up and down in his hand and looked to Zeta.

"this relic is of no use to me..............but I might be willing to sell it to you........"

As Innocence ran towards Xi she felt his chakra shift behind her. She stared gathering chakra in her left palm as she ran forwards. The right side of her mouth curved upwards as she skidded to a stop. She held out her left hand and narrowed her eyes on the arrow as she released the chakra in her hand. Water shot out in the form of a sheild and instantly froze over. She forced a little more chakra into it to make the shield harder. She turned to run away from it when she saw him throw an ice bomb. She flipped over it as it rolled forwards, closer towards the shield.

I don't have much time left. I need to end this and quickly.

Innocence pulled out two exploding tags and four kunai. She slipped the two tags on two of the kunai. She ran forwards, glaring as he healed himself. No time for that bastard...it's time to die!Pulling her arm back she threw the kuani. She didn't care where the other three went. Her main goal was to snag one of the kunai with a tag on the material of his pants, down by his feet. The other three were aimed at his cheek, his arm and his chest. Hopefully he would move his upper body to dodge so he could continue to heal himself. He would and if he missed both tags, she could expolded them the moment they flew behind him. She waited a moment before whispering "Kai." I hope you are banished from this world armonian.

Your moves do not surprise me, you do the same tactics all the time. I thought you were smarter than that!

Xi smirked as he stopped the healing and since the chakra was flowing very nicely he quickly made two hand seals and it was done. He quickly lifted up his arms and the ground around him shook as a huge swirl of water came around him like a vortex and caught the kunai and shot them out in different directions of the area, but after it was formed it froze from the negative degree weather. The three hundred and sixty degree wall, froze solid around Xi, and it was a good deal. Xi smiled as he noticed he was over half amount of chakra, so he could do this combination. He made three hand seals and then made a fist pointing at the direction in which he last saw Innocence and can still see her through the distorted ice. Suddenly the tags went off, almost right after they hit the vortex, and the ice cracked a bit and was about to collapse.

Innocence, I am glad I did not use that jutsu until now, when I needed it most. Tag are your specialty, and I know that now along with water. [Suiton] Eda Assaiki - Limb Crusher!

He looked forward at her and smiled and nodded to her unexpectedly. This jutsu is one of the most sneakiest jutsu to date by Xi. The water would rise up from under the ground, without a trace, or an easy one at least. The water woudl then come up from under her and grab either leg and grasp it, and crush it, once enough of the water is wrapped around, or even ice, if it freezes. It may be weaker with ice, less damage but more pain. The ice would cut into her and gouge the muscles and skin, and if it was water it would break her leg. No matter what, the chakra was now under her position, the water suddenly rushed up and went for the grab. As that happened, Xi kept his grip with the fist and sighed, then kicked to his right and the ice broke and collapsed, in a circle around himself. He jumped out and almost stumbled as the cold hit him a bit, but he got back and landed. He was worn out to some extent, with a little over half chakra, and some wounds. His major one was half way healed, making it less severe. He took out a tag and kunai with one hand and did wrapped it around the handle, for the most secretive way possible. He then held it at the handle, so it would be covered in a defensive position like nothing was abnormal.

You are good, I must admit, but you will not be good enough to beat me. Oddly familiar though.

A brilliant failure
Redemption had not cut many of his muscles, even so the loose of them would be annoying and as he was about kick Redemption he stopped. Redemption moved his free hand over to clamp down on Omegas hand. Omega’s right hand blurred as it suddenly shoot down, sword in hand aiming for Redemptions arms. His right arm was the primary goal, the blade was heading for right below the elbow bend, and if the blade hit it would also hit at the mid-for-arm of Redemptions left hand. Omega was strong with a blade and even with the damage his blade had taken from Redemptions sword, if his sword made contact it would go straight threw Redemption’s arms. He had thought about going for the neck, which was open, but thought it might be better this way. His left hand would also slightly delay Redemptions right hand sense it was clamped down onto it, so this would make it hard for his right hand to get away.

OOC The event is ending soon so if you get away then whatever, we do not have time to finish this fight. And I know the fire is coming in but that won’t make Vldorian flinch so don’t say it will XD This attack is going the second after you hand grabs onto Omega’s. sorry it took so long. Talk to you on msn

The current battle had subsided into what seemed to be a stalemate. There was a discussion between the two before Zeta was given the hilt and both forces regrouped. Zeta could smell that familiar scent remaining from before but disregarded it now. There was a short stare-down before both groups disappeared from inside of Shiva, the only thing remaining of their presence was the damage their battles had inflicted on this architectural piece of art. It seemed as though nobody's battle had reached an actual conclusion. The agreement had lead to Armonia reaching their objective and so they no longer had any qualms with the enemy and they left quietly. They had no idea just how much their battle had affected those in the main battle, nor how many lives they had just saved simply by leaving with the hilt. It turns out the hilt was the source of power for the sentinels of Shiva. It was attached to a machine that radiates the energy that humans can't feel, but gives the sentinels the energy that allows them to function properly. These sentinels have absolutely no backup power or energy storage. Once the sword was removed from the machine, the source of power for the sentinels vanished and thus led the sentinels to stop moving completely. Without knowing what they had done, they had ended up saving possibly dozens of lives. They didn't take any special detours or special secret methods to reach their boat, however the boat was cloaked using the same method their bodies were cloaked to preserve their identities. They giant rocks were pieced together once more to create the boat they had taken to arrive at Shiva as they all walked in and retreated to the inside. Zeta was freezing due to the intense weather, however it seemed the awful weather had been reduced. The wind was less fierce than it had been before. Throwing his cigarette in the water, he joined his Guild members in the warmth.
