A brilliant failure

No words reach this man, he is a beast that has no meaning but still remains. Words spoken to an animal that can not hear are worthless. His left leg shifted a step forward; an elegant sweep of his right foot around his body, and with his sword turned to the flat of the blade the slash was parried off towards the ground and Redemptions attack was turned into a waste. It was luck that Omega had gone forwards and not been captured by the Kunai and wire; instead of trying to stay and block the attack which would have lead to being captured. A swift stab forward with his blade was about to come into play when Redemption pulled on something and was pulled about six feet away. Wire Sheathing his sword he shoot forward before Redemption landed, slicing right arm forward cutting any wire that might be in his way. A hidden blade had fallen into his hand as he had sheathed his sword. Sword against a small hidden blade had bad odds especially sense the sword seemed to damage other swords with ease, but with precise moves and a knowledge of where to grab and such then his chances were highly increased. At the last second before reaching Redemption he jumped over him throwing two kunai’s. One was a regular kunai and went straight for Redemptions head the other had a pre-wrapped exploding tag on it and would land about a foot behind where Redemption was standing. He would not get to close when the man had wire ready, he might have already fallen into a trap so he kept ready with his dagger and a kunai in his other hand. He landed about fifteen feet away from where Redemption had been standing, facing the spot. OOC Talk to you on msn tonight, i'll be on for a little while or I should be. |

Koukens head snapped to the side barely missing the kick thrown by the Armonian. He slid on the ground sideways and away from Xi and the ice bomb. Kouken watched Xi throw something towards Innocence's general direction. "In coming" The wolf finally spoke up. But before Innocence could stop the tag it exploded above her. Chunks of metal and ice flew down towards her in every direction. She hissed a slew of curses under hear breath as some of the shards tore through her cloak. Meanwhile Kouken moved in front of Xi. He crouched down yet again, growling at him. The wolf never took his eyes off the Armonian. Innocence peeked around the corner of the hil she was hiding behind while she began gathering chakra. Blood ran down her ears onto her neck. The ringing sound from the explosion had yet to die down. "You know...It's not proper to attack someone out of nowhere and not even give their opponent a name." Innocence shouted louder than she needed to. Kouken began to back up slightly towards her hiding spot. "Though you don't really deserve it, my name is Innocence." She hesitated with her next choice of words. She decided that instead of speaking she would wait for him to answer. Meanwhile she continued to concentrate on the chakra moving in her vocal chords. Kouken barked sightly at Xi. Sairen Kashou no Jutsu... Innocence began to sing a soft song. The melody flowing through the air from her towards Xi. |

Omega's movements were swift yet again, but his movements spelled it out clearly that had he not taken that lucky step forward, the match could have potentially been over there and then. Omega was swift, but it seemed like his perceptiveness was more lacking. However, because Redemption's assault was hidden from Omega's eyes, Omega couldn't be put down just yet by first assumption. He'd have to run a few more experiments before he could set a conclusion to his hypothesis. Alright then... next phase... Right before he landed, Omega came forward, leaping over Redemption with a large jump. For such a massive fellow, he could sure move pretty fast. Redemption would have to watch that, but something told him that a certain Enzeru Takai was much faster than this one. Redemption had faced worse; he was in no trouble at the moment. He struck the first kunai aside with Tensa Zangetsu's long reach, noting the fact that this Omega's aim with the second kunai was pathetically off and most likely for a good reason. He wasn't trying to make perfect contact. Redemption leaped to the side, having already landed by now and skid about six feet away from the other kunai, which exploded upon contact with the ground. Keeping his balance well for such uneven ground, it was mostly due to a lucky positioning of the tiles. He's in midair. Evasion will be a great hassle for him especially with my kicks. Phase two begins now... Redemption lurched forward once more before Omega could land. After all, Omega took a rather large jump to have been able to land fifteen feet away from the explosion. Running forward, he pulled out a black scroll, opening it as a puff of smoke engulfed the area for a second. Out of the smoke, Redemption appeared, using the smoke as a perfect surprise attack as Omega would not know when Redemption would strike. Redemption began throwing a wave of extremely fast flip and spin kicks. This time, Omega would feel pain even by blocking or grabbing (which was unlikely by the momentum and force each kick held), let alone from taking a full force hit due to less evasive abilites in midair. This was more because of seriousness with his attacks than the fact that there were mythril grieves hidden under his cloak and pant legs. That concealed blade would do little if nothing against the grieves if he tried stabbing the blade into Redemption's leg and would hurt Omega even more if the kicks struck. Omega was stuck now, and this was NOT even with Iron Kick style. OOC: The mythril grieves came from the black scroll. |

Omega was not very surprised an attack came out of the smoke that had been created and as the first kick came in, it made contact. Redemptions lower leg landed just in the mid section of his torso. As it made contact his armor hardened decreasing the damage greatly, it was also spread out over his entire chest, which lessened the damage also. This was the only attack Redemption managed to get off though as Omega’s hands wrapped around his leg clamping it down to his chest the second it had made impact. The reason he could not get anymore attacks off was because he started to spin rapidly in the air. At the last second he let go throwing Redemption towards the ground and he himself jumping away. He was good at another move similar to this one, which caused more damage. As he slid to a stop after landing he took a second to think about something. He has something under his cloak, most likely metal grieves. We both have several hidden things. This man is good at Taijutsu and I doubt he has shown everything he has got (When it comes to Taijutsu) but this shale be an interesting battle. Omega would keep his guard at full even in close combat, Ninjutsu would most likely come into play soon and more problems would arise. Vldorian bent down grabbing his torso with his right hand and placing the left hand on the ground. OOC good time for you to attack I think. I’ll pm you something in a minute. |

Konoha's Wave

"Innocence, I see. I am Xi." "I can barely hear her at this range, it seemed as though the wind has come into an affect with my hearing and that I will have to take that into account, and also that wolf, stationing away from me. But this also could help me.....wait..I hear something...but how in this magnitude of wind...something it up...." Xi stopped yet pulled out a kunai and held it close and focused his character quickly around his body. He nodded and jumped backwards away from Innocence just in case. If this was a genjutsu, getting further away would be the best way to go, to get out of the range, in the long run. He made his way back about fifteen feet away and stopped. He could still hear it now, but barely as it started to get louder than kept to a minimum. He looked forward and his vision started to blur, and it started to get a bit dizzy. He could still think properly, that was the main thing, but he needed to keep himself stable and aware of his surroundings. Xi gripped Shikon's handle and pulled the kunai to his chest for protection and looked forward, as blurry as it may seem, he needed to try and regain focus. "I need to keep my game on here, this is no winter wonderland. I need to be ready for anything" Xi closed his eyes for a second then reopened them, hoping they would be focused, but they were not, but by now the singing was incoherent, and not noticed, because of the wind and effect of the jutsu already taking place. He held the kunai at chest height and pointing down, while gripping the shaft of Shikon. He sighed lightly and listened for maybe the wolf or her, even though it is hard, but not impossible to hear. |

OOC: Haha, your pm + ooc = teh lulz IC: Redemption's initial kick was a success, but even in the air, Omega managed to get a handle on himself. Redemption's kick felt very unusual upon striking Omega's body and the only logical conclusion was that either Omega's body was as hard as a rock or that he had a special armor under his cloak. Assuming the later, Redemption smirked. Chakra had been used to strengthen the armor. The chakra usage commenced. Redemption wouldn't be as hasty to use his own chakra as Omega happened to be, and still had other things to focus on. Omega had managed to grab the kick after it made its impact and suddenly, he felt a weightlessness. Omega had begun spinning in midair! What the? How'd he gain so much momentum? That's i- Redemption did not have time to finish his thoughts as he suddenly was released and sent flying away. Pulling Tensa Zangetsu out, he scraped the blade on the ground as he neared it, de-accelerating his speed and touching down lightly on the ground. However, he stumbled slightly upon landing from the uneven ground. Luckily, his mythril grieves kept his feet in a tightly secure position, preventing damage to his leg from the stumble. This Omega is pretty impressive to gain that much momentum from midair in a stationary positioning. He must be one hell of a taijutsu expert. His taijutsu is... unfortunately... much better than mine. However, I've yet to see anyone procure an extreme ninjutsu form like my blue fire since Kin-sensei and Enzeru Takai. Hopefully, I'll have the edge on that. Only time will tell... Redemption watched Omega's movements from the now twelve feet of distance that they'd created. Omega had clutched at his side, but due to the impressive feats Omega had pulled off against Redemption only a few seconds ago, it might have been a fake-out. Omega's left hand touched down on the ground as well. He wasn't going to risk it this time. He would let Omega be the one on the offensive this time. Reaching into his kunai pouch (hidden from Omega's sight due to it being under his cloak), Redemption lifted Tensa Zangetsu up at the same time so that he could see both Omega and the blade at the same time. Redemption was examining the potential damage on his blade from having scraped it against this uneven ground. There was no damage at all. The sword breaker trait had proven useful once again; it was the cobblestones that were cut up. When Tensa Zangetsu scraped across the ground, it left a decent cut in the ground. Redemption crouched down, feeling the grooves of the cut on the ground and reaching deep down into the torn-up ground. It was well-etched. Redemption's mind ran through the thought of symbolically leaving his mark on this wretched place. Pulling back about five feet, he waved his hand for Omega to attack this time. Redemption had attacked enough. It was Omega's turn for a bloody change. Let's see what you've got, Armonian... let me see your 'superior' taijutsu... |

Xi huh? hmm that's strange. Innocence slowly ceased her song by stopping the flow of chakra to her vocal cords. She looked over at Kouken and mouthed the words "follow him". He nodded and sprinted off towards Xi. Innocence knew she couldn't keep the genjutsu going very long, even if she did move closer to him. It was a chakra eater and that was something she couldn't be burdened with at the moment. She reached down into her holster for four Kunai, four tags and some wire. The kunai's were string on the wire. Pushing herself up off the ground, Innocence moved around the ice hill and began to run parallel to Koukens paw prints in the snow. She moved in a zig-zag motion and noticed Kouken was doing the same. The wolf moved behind Xi as to grab his attention away from Innocence. The sounds of Kouken's jaw snapping shut; His teeth bare. He was toying with Xi, making attempts at biting the boy but never getting close enough to hit. She was too busy to wonder if Kouken wanted Xi to think he was afraid to get close to him. She also knew if Xi was disoriented in anyway shape or form, it would be harder for him to focus on her position. When she was closer to him she faked to the right, before zipping left. She aimed a kunai into a ice covered hill. She placed a tag on it and moved on. She made another zig-zag towards his right this time placing another kunai and tag on another hill. She then reached back for her naginata. Gripping it tightly she jumped up into the air as he had done before and made a slash at his torso. As she came back towards the ground she twisted around, throwing the other kunai at another hill. As she hit the ground she made another slash for his stomach. Jumping back she ran side ways till she was standing in his previous position. Meanwhile Kouken jumped at him from behind. Attempting to grab hold of his pants and knock out the back of his knee. Innocence put her naginata back into it's holster. She then pulled out her daggers. She took a hesitant step towards the left, then the right before going left again. when she was a foot away she spun on her back leg and attempted a round house kick for his side. |

Konoha's Wave

"Snarling, eh? Trying to get my attention little puppy?" Xi said as he took out a tag and slapped it on the handle hastily and unnoticed. He then tossed it into the ground at his feet, and it was not heard due to the metal and ice friction not being enough to make a loud enough sound. Suddenly Light footsteps could be heard and Xi knew what may go down, he let go of Shikon and his vision was still not straight as stuff was dancing around like a salsa at an old folks party. Innocence was up to something, and Xi needed to prepare like he already did. He put his hands into a ram seal, then into a snake hand seal and found Innocence coming at him with a naginata. He did not realize it until she was about three feet away from slashing at his torso area. Xi ducked and it soared by his head, then he noticed her flinch and toss something then go for another swing at Xi's but it missed again due to it was a just the same slash in a different direction. As Xi came back up she went for a slash to his stomach, and he backed up and almost ran in to the wolf but still missed the slash for the most part, but it cut into his cloak and scrape to his stomach area. Close call...what the....? The wolf suddenly went to bite the back of Xi's knee, as he heard the snarling stopped and the scrape on the ice from his or her claws. Xi put his leg up for the wolf to miss, but then noticed Innocence going for a round house kick to Xi's side, but it hit his leg and hip instead with a good amount of force to hurt him. As Xi flipped in the air and crashed landed and rolled, he shot back up and slammed his palms on the ground quickly, and released chakra into the icy landscape in which the chakra would be sent to where he was last standing since. "[Doton] Daichi Fuujikomeru no Jutsu - Earth Containment Technique!" Xi yelled as he secreted enough chakra to even create the earth out of the icy land, and it rose up from the ground and woudl make a dome around Innocence and possibly the wolf too. This dome had a radius of fifteen feet from it's main point. The dome rose up equally from all sides around Innocence, and would enclose her until destroyed. When the dome would be completed Xi made a ram hand seal and sighed a bit. The good thing was about this was that the tag was caught inside of this dome with her and the wolf if she was to be trapped. "Sorry Innocence. KAI!" |

Violent wind swirled around Deceit's scythe as he whipped it up into position and it clashed with Zeta's katana. The wind and lightning raged around in a violent hurricane, slashing away at the stone floor around them. "your arrogant......don't try and hide it....." Deceit said through his rasping voice distorter as he slid backward, backflipping off of the roff and landing on the wall of another building behind them. The scythe flew from his position and the wind around it hollowed even more violently than before, he tossed while holding the chain, swining it for Zeta. let's see what he has in his arsenal, no doubt he has a a few tricks....lucky for me, I have even more tricks than Kin did |

Nicely done, most people would have slammed into ground The praise passed through his head as he watched Redemption slid to a halt with his sword. He watched every movement, taking special note of his movements as he crouched down. With a slight movements of his hand Redemption beckoned for him to come and attack. He wondered if they would both be forced pull out all their tricks to fight each other. He shoot forward with no weapons in hand, wondering what was going threw his head. A sudden burst of speed made him vanish from site. Every movement was precise as he reappeared behind Redemption. His body was facing perpendicular to Redemption’s back, facing towards his right, and his knuckles were flying towards the right side of Redemption’s face as he threw a controlled back-fist strike. It would then be followed by a series sticks, each one fast, each one having the force to break bones if they made full contact. The fact that Redemption might have laid a trap had never left his mind so if Redemption dodged and got out of the way Omega would use the momentum that he had already built up to jump away. He was also ready for a close quarters fight if Redemption had time to turn around an start to fight. |
