ooc: this is the thread for the guild war, if your not participating in it then please do not post here. However all are welcome to watch, lol. This battle takes place at the opposite side of the island to which the war is taking place. All of the fighters will be in differing areas, all of which are near the Ancient City which was discovered.

Namine vs Hero- Your fight will take place above the city, a large fifteen foot pire marks the highest point of the city, but due to sheets of ice that dome the city and layers of snow atop that, it appears as though you are on ground level. In actuality your nearly two miles up, like a mountain top, the pire which appears to be fiften feet high actually goes all the way down to the base of the city (it is identical to the pire which claimed Kisuke's life, and Kin's vision) Just keep in mind it's viciously cold and absurdly windy, and there is ice everywhere. [I can't speak for Kisuke, but the orders given to Namine from Itami were to scout the area above the city and gather any possible information on the pire]

Tenma vs Vldorian- Your fight takes place at the end of a tunnel (or rather a tunnel which splits), and your in a lower district of the city, which is actually the only part of Shiva which is at ground level. It is below the main section of the city (meaning it has a stone ceiling, which is approximately 1,000 feet above head) there are only small structures in this area, most comprised of basic materials such as stone, metal or treated wood. The ground is paved with uneven cobble stone like material, very unlike the usual ancient style found in Jagganath and in the upper plate of the city, nobody can be certain but it seems like a lower class district or possibly a prison.

Seisho vs Saki- You two will be fighting in the tunnel drilled down to reach Shiva, it is about twenty feet in radius and is perfectly circular, and it reaches downward for just under two miles (meaning it's a tunnel through mostly ice). You are toward the end of the tunnel, meaning you are just toward the end which reaches the main sector of the city (toward the end of the tunnel it splits, one leading to the main area of Shiva, which is strikingly similar to Jagganath, the other continues downward another 1,000 feet to a lower section, which is mentioned in the paragaph above. Because you are very close to the city there are a lot of mineral and soil deposits found in the ice, making earth jutsus possible. There is a noticable draft of cold air from above (as the air which comes down from the surface is cold) and a relatively warm draft coming from the direction of the city. Your precise distance from the city is about four city blocks.

Itami vs Kisuke- Me and Kisuke will be fighting in the main area of the city, the entire city is our battle ground. Looming above head is the hilt of the sword that Armonia seeks, and it seems to be somehow linked to the city, perhaps as some kind of battery. At our feet in the stone and metal edifice of Shiva, doming above head is a massive ceiling of ice, so high that it can possibly be mistaken for the sky. The only evidence that it isnt the sky is that the illusion of it's limitless height is ruined by the pire which pierces the top and goes to above ground.

you are all welcome to post before your fight, but please do not begin your battles yet. With any luck we will be able to start tomorrow or early the day after. I am extremely anxious and hope you all are too!

Konoha's Wave
A ninja ran up a steep and slippery pathway which led him higher and higher up from the actual city in this frigid ice-land for about nearly one and half miles. The ninja was dressed in extra gear for the cold temperatures and wind atmosphere. He kept his body going to keep it from freezing up like a cadaver. As the temperature got colder, the winds got stronger, the ice got thicker, and the snow got heavier, it was all clear that he was heading up farther up above the city than anyone would want to. He continued to run since this was his orders, to check out this area and make sure it was safe to check out, later on. The ninja breathed a bit more frequent in order to keep the blood flowing, and to keep his movements coordinated with the ice and equipment factors. The sky was almost touchable by now, if he could see it. He looked backwards and seemed like he did not even leave the ground, but really he did, and was not daring to try and touch the ground so easily, which is about over thousand of feet away. The ninja pressed his radio and nodded.

"Xi here, I am almost to the speculated point of excavation. Xi Out."

Xi nodded and let go of the radio and kept going. He was almost at the point in which he needed to search and clear, to try and find what they were looking for. Yet, just in case someone, or something was there first, he gripped Shikon with his right hand and continued. The snow was getting more and more packed down, which meant a good sign of traction, but also it may met a little then freeze even with these bad temperatures. Xi kept his head up and kept a good eye out in front of him, and kept his senses open for any body around. Yet, he noticed the top in his vision. He suddenly shifted courses, and bent down, and made his way slowly, and noticed a little hill before the top. He darted behind it and bent down, and watched the scene. He did not know what he would see or find up here, but he needed to search the place, and clear it of any intruders or predators, which was unlikely with these conditions, but he knew there were more people around this ancient city.

There does not seem to be anyone just yet...but I should inspect this place a bit more from here, for movement, but I cannot for too long, or i will get frost bitten all over.

Xi thought as he kept his grip on Shikon's handle, his katana and a slight movement in his legs to keep the blood flowing, or else he may not be able to move them later on, and die. This was a complicated place to be in, and the worst. A hotter place would be easier to stake out, than a cold place, because anybodies' body can take heat better than the cold. Xi focused his way with his eyes around the open area, through the snow and dense mist. He then pulled his left hand over and turned down the volume on his radio just in case someone came over it, and spoke loudly and gave away his position. He brought his hand back down, and continued the stake-out.

No one yet, in these few seconds, but i can still just not jump in, randomly.

Oh, you saucy temptress...
This was possibly the warmest place in the entire frost-bitten continent. The tunnel was enclosed by a ceiling up ahead, lower than any other structures or landforms (which was, go figure, ground level), and Redemption could not see any ice, snow, or water. This place was only stone, wood, and metal. He was at home finally. Though his orders were to search the lower levels, he did not want to leave this spot. Redemption was not too bothered by the cold due to the unusual temperatures of his body and merely wore his Covenant cloak. He, like a few, rare, special people, had a connection to the elemental extremities and could handle them fairly well. Having fought Enzeru Takai several times before as well was not a bad bonus either, experiencing cold temperatures just as bad as this barren wasteland of trash that was snow and ice.

I don't want to hear a sound from anyone; neither Deceit, Calamity, nor Innocence......... I wish Truth was back. He made tasks so much less annoying than this and a lot more interesting.

Redemption would not turn his headset off. He knew an order would probably come if he did because his luck was just that incredible. He kept his voice distorter on and hood up, moving to the wall of the tunnel and staying near/behind a small structure made of metal.

It was ridiculously cold out as the shinobi ran across the snow covered ground. The ancient city she was running over clearly had something important in, near, or around it if Deceit sent her to check. There were smaller piers and towers poking out of the ground. Some where bent or twisted in weird ways from either erosion or avalanches. Innocence scanned the area, stopping every once and a while to check different spots. There were glass-like ice crystals everywhere. It truly was a breath taking sight. Innocence wore a thicker black cloak over top of her regular covenant cloak because of the drastically cold temperatures.

It would be easier to scout the area with an extra nose, eyes and ears. I’ve got to be careful for any…unexpected guests. Things are different now that Truth is gone. So many people have left. I wonder if…

Innocence shook the thought away as she moved her glove slightly so she could bite her thumb. She made quick hand signs before placing her hand above the ground. A white cloud appeared in front of her and was soon replaced with fur. She stared into golden eyes and nodded slightly. Kouken lifted his nose and sniffed the air momentarily. He then nudged Innocence forwards. His thick fur had adapted towards this type of weather. Unlike Innocence, he was used to it. She narrowed her eyes through the thick mist around them. Her breath only seemed to add to the air around them. She tried to make sure she kept moving so the cold wouldn’t catch up to her.

The two continued to keep sharp eyes out for anything suspicious. Kouken would sense if anyone dangerous was near. Innocence turned slightly down another path to search for anything else, mean while Kouken continued on. If anything happened she could call for him and vice versa.

Nothing and no one yet, but anything can change in a matter of moments. I wonder if I’ll actually find anything.

Deceit stood atop a tall building, peering down upon the rest of Shiva, there was only a small amount of towers that managed to go above his own head. He wasn't one to describe things as beautiful or astonishing, but this possibly bordered on the line of exception. The idea of how much knowledge and power lie hidden within the stone of this city wasn't something the human mind could even contemplate. He gripped the end of his scythe and balanced the tip to the floor below him, and the blade shimmered the pale light of Shiva above his head. This place appeared desolate but Deceit was no fool.

theres someone else down here.....it's chakra is distorted, like I am receiving static.......it's just like the warning Kin left for us. Those white warriors........the Armonians, are really so strong as to rival the Covenant. If Kin believed so then it's probably true, at least one of them is down here with me, it's just a matter of figuring out where....then ending his life

Zeta walked quietly through Shiva, making sure every step he made was somewhat calculated. The thoughts of Jagganath still rang clearly in his mind and served as a constant reminder that if the other place was littered with traps, this place was likely to be littered with them as well. However, as time progressed Zeta found that all this worry about traps was perhaps unnecessary due to nothing happening. Unfortunately, soon his mind locked onto something else.

The distance was hard to grasp and the chakra was distorted, however due to previous encounters he knew exactly what that meant. It was the same method of concealment the hooded man in black used, the man who called himself 'Truth'. But that man's identity was no longer a mystery to Zeta due to previously unforeseen circumstances.

I can't tell who he is or how strong he is, but all I can tell is that he knows I'm here. It's almost as if he's waiting for me, as if he knew someone would come and was expecting to find someone walking straight into his path. However, he knows nothing of me because I've only encountered Truth, and even then I didn't give Truth enough information for him to accurately understand how I fight. In the end, this battle will be a complete mystery on both ends. The only thing to think about now is, who will make the first move.

Zeta pulled his jacket up and readjusted his goggles. He was going to make sure that when he fought, there would be nothing standing in his way. He would be able to go all out and not be hindered by his gear, however the temperature was certainly going to make the battle not only interesting, but rather complicated.

A brilliant failure
The void was nice compared to the outside but to be truthful Omega enjoyed the weather. It had been a long time sense he had been in a blizzard of such magnitude, although the temperature difference, was some. He was here though now so it did not matter and the rest of his fellow guild members were and each of them were depending on each other. A chakra came into his field that felt distant and distorted.

This must be what Zeta was talking about, someone is close.

He tapped his foot to the ground and as he had guessed, it would not be a great place for him to fight. Omega walked forward threw the expanse of tunnel slowly getting closer to the faint chakra.

OOC good luck to you Dem and the rest of you have a good fight

Xi kept moving slightly and then found nothing, the area seemed bare. He slowly rose up, and walked forward into the air, still gripping on Shikon. Xi looked around and sighed, and he had no job to do, but search for anything useful to Armonia. He suddenly stopped, as heard a faint noise from behind himself. It seemed to be ninja shoes, with the sound of wood on the hard ice, from a path. Xi darted to his left next to a barren pile of ice and snow. He heard the steps coming closer and closer, as it seemed like they were searching for something also. Xi pressed his radio and whisper slightly while keeping an eye and ear open:

"There seems to be a disturbance, I will be done with this, and head out. Xi out."

Xi said and then turned off his radio and watched the area the sounds seemed to penetrate from. The person, animal, or thing, was gaining on Xi's slight location, and he may have to resort to force if this was a fierce enemy. Xi kept watch as a dark figure came slowly towards the area in which he had to search, and this may be a delay and nothing more. Yet, this figure had a distinct human walking pattern, figure and motion. Right then Xi knew this was a person, but who? He knew it was not one of his own, due to he was the only one assigned this area. He slowly pulled out Shikon, as the tip cut the tough air, and Xi gripped it firmly and was ready to strike if needed as the cold sleek metal glowed in the snow's essence. Xi kept his eyes on the target to gain more information about this so called, enemy.

Hmm, I thought this would be a simple, search and take mission, but things are never that simple, troublesome.

The ninja or person seemed to be keeping an eye out, by looking around. Xi could not see features or even his or her face, but he could see the movement in their dark figure. As he or she came closer, it was now clear this was no friend. They were here for a different purpose, because if it was his ally, they would have said so already. Now, the mist was thinner and he could see the person, who was a women, and also a ninja. Xi, put his free hand on the ice hill and was ready to lung out, once the time was right, and soon it will be. The wind suddenly blew and snow came up, barely blocking his view, and the cold made him a bit stiff. So he bent his legs without changing his height. Now was the time, a swift and easy motion. After collecting the data, he knows this is not his friend nor ally, it was in fact an enemy, with a keen eye and maybe a long weapon, but it seemed to be hard to take out in an instant. Xi took his left hand and pushed up off the ice and lunged into the air, in one fast and swift motion. He took Shikon and went for a horizontal slash to the chest/abdominal area while taking out a kunai with his left hand for protection from a slight counter.

Your time here is not needed....

OOC: Good luck to you too, Vldorian, and to everyone else. Have fun.

Deceit tightened his grip on the scythe and he lifted it into the air, as he turned around slowly. His distorted voice boomed out into the air as he spoke toward Zeta.

"you know that I know your here......so are you gonna keep playing games, or are we going to start the inevitable."

Deceit tilted the scythe to that it rested in his hand at the ready, and the massive blade smashed into the ground with a large clang which echoed off the dome walls of Shiva.

"I know what you are...........Armonian......"

It was that feeling you got when you walked around in a dark room and you kept thinking you would bump into something. Innocence felt as if she was getting closer to something she shouldn’t. Yet there was no one out there. There was a strong gust of wind and Innocence stopped. She could feel Kouken’s presence. He was near and probably close to whatever she felt before. Carefully she reached down in her cloak for her two kunai. She kept her arms dormant at her side and waited for a moment. Her eyes never stopped moving for a second. She was waiting for something or someone to move from the shadows of the mist.

That’s when it happened. A figure lunged out into the air from her right side. She jumped back slightly as he slashed for her stomach. The tip of his sword tore the material of her cloak open slightly. She slid back a few feet and quickly brought her kunais up; crossing them in an X formation in front of her. Her eyes were wide underneath her hood as she stared at the shinobi in front of her. He didn’t look like any Shinobi she had seen before. He was covered in mostly all white. Is he part of the group Deceit had mentioned…Armonia? Out of the corner of her eye she saw Kouken step out from behind the shinobi. His hair bristled and his fangs were bare to the world. He was hunched down like he was about to pounce on his prey. She smiled.

“There you are, good boy. Come here!” Her voice came out distorted due to the voice distorter. It sounded deeper, raspier than normal. Suddenly Kouken swiftly lunged at the back of the ninja. Innocence released the two kunai in her hand, aiming one towards his shoulder and one towards his forehead. She then took out an ice bomb. She tossed it to the ground next to his left foot before retreating behind a hill of ice. There were two more near where she was and they were much like the one the shinobi had been next to.

You will not get out of here alive…
