Lone Hunter

Damn, resourceful guy. Saiyuki looked up as Takai set off some explosions that launched some ice at Saiyuki. Saiyuki called back his two orbs as he stopped his attack and focused on defending. He let the two orbs fly into his feet, where they disappeared, as Saiyuki took back some of the chakra he used to make them in order to conserve chakra. Then he activated his Zero Shiki taijutsu style, which, combined with his bloodline, allowed him to defy gravity. He jumped out of the way and managed to completely dodge the block of ice that had fallen upon him. Then he observed what Takai was doing. Hakumei had been partially successful, but apparently that was what Takai wanted. Saiyuki noticed him send a wave of ice towards Hakumei. Hmm, might be troublesome. Saiyuki remained calm, even after Takai sent forth two Kage Bushins towards him. Saiyuki glanced back at Axel, who should have gotten out of the way of the ice shards that came from the explosion. He made more signals to him. More specifically, the commands were "fight" and "clones". The clones would only survive for one hit, and Saiyuki trusted that Axel was able to do such a thing without getting damaged too much or used up too much chakra. Saiyuki might need him for the end. Now, he had to go help out Hakumei. Saiyuki reduced his zone so it was just touching his skin. This, combined with his Zero Shiki style, made him able to speed up considerably. He stopped, seeming to brake before the two clones, but actually, that was just to kick up snow as he thrusted Reiki into the snow and used it as a jumping tool to leap above the clones and towards Takai, and grabbed Reiki right after. All this happened rather quickly and Takai was beginning to do his tug of war thing after Saiyuki made his jump and was in the air. Hakumei, it's time for you to attack. And for me as well. Hopefully, he didn't notice me just yet. While Saiyuki was still in the air, he also gave some more commands to Hakumei. The signals were "attack"and "jutsu". He wanted Hakumei to a strong steam jutsu to attack. Saiyuki also started molding gravity chakra around his arm to help Hakumei. He hoped to catch Takai off guard. However, he would use this jutsu first to try to disrupt Takai. He took some time to focus it so it wouldn't affect anyone but Takai as he was soaring in the air. Then he released his Aura no Ryu jutsu on Takai. The effect would be that Takai would lose his concentration and that his chakra control would be out of whack. While this jutsu usually worked in a 360 degree and 15 meter range, Saiyuki focused it, but not enough that Takai could get out of range, especially as he was focused on his little tug of war. It also helped to conserve chakra. Then he finished his gravity molding. In his free arm there was an large orb, though Saiyuki was careful enough to make sure that his chakra control was in tune. Even though he carried within him a greater supply of chakra than average, he knew that Takai could probably outlast him in terms of chakra, so therefore they had to finish him in an strong attack. Well, this is it. Aian Shuuha........Shotgun style! Saiyuki lifted the sphere above his head while still in the air as he began to slowly flip over. Then he accelerated his flip to increase the power of his kick. Then Saiyuki kicked it hard and straight down at Takai. Saiyuki's kicks were his specialty and were quite strong. He also added spin to the sphere. Then, the sphere seperated into multiple smaller Aian Shuuhas, all with a different spin and all coming at Takai from a different angle, due to the spin, and at a fast speed. There were around 10 of them coming at Takai. Hakumei should also be using his jutsus to attack right now, which allowed for an combination technique. Takai's arms were also tangled up in his little tug of war, which gave Saiyuki and Hakumei a slight advantage. Saiyuki expected a barrage of gravity field explosions to happen right after. A make-shift ice barrier wasn't gonna stop these spheres as well as the degree of power which Saiyuki expected from Hakumei's jutsu. Hmm, I still have an considerable amount of chakra remaining, though I shouldn't push it....Takai, you're not getting out of this unharmed. |

The Blood Saint

Takeshi disengaged his fire jutsu and moved Kintaro closer to the field of burning plants now that he was tied up and incapacitated. It would burn for a while and keep him warm until he woke and was able to fend for himself once again in the tundra. Takeshi began walking in the direction of Garnet who was not to far away from him. He still thought of the fight that just took place. I try to live and let live, survive Kintaro, challenge me again when we next meet.... "It seems like Rikatu has been beaten...." Takeshi saw Garnet being told by a Sound shinobi to leave after putting a kunai to his face. The ninja brushed Garnet off and payed him no mind. Takeshi quickly ran up next to Garnet and touched his shoulder. "Don't test his patience, he is allowing you to get away without a fight, take his advice and accept his kindness. We have to go find Rikatu, he llost his fight I can tell, his chakra dropped off of the radar, i figure that he passed out somewhere." Takeshi began walking towards the direction from which he was receiving a signal from Rikatu's headset. He found Rikatu face down in the snow and picked him up. He carried him on his back until they reached the cave that they were in before. Takeshi pulled out the med-kit he pocketed from the medical shinobi and patched up Rikatu and started a fire to help him recover. He radioed Garnet through his headset. "Garnet, are you close to the cave?" |

I LOVE TO SUCK THOSE TINY ICICLES!
|
Kei looked towards the incredible amount of Earth that was tearing towards him and in his mind he went over the several options he could take. The ice was hurtling towards him as it was propelled like any kind of Doton would be and the jagged edges loomed in the light. He could perform another Cero to remove the threat of her jutsu. However he decided against this idea as he extended his arm outwards and summoned the chakra for Hinoko Chi. From his hand a large blade of energy was formed and as he looked towards it he saw it fall into his hand like a blade. His gaze fell upon the wave coming towards him and Kei knew that he had little room for error with this, but he hoped the heat from the jutsu would aid him. Kei launched an exploding tag towards it, ignoring the heat from the explosion he continued pushing forwards and slashed at the wave with his blade of energy. He clamped his eyes shut as he sliced out the shape of a door way. The heat on his skin from the tag burnt him and he could feel cuts along his arm and one across his face. Her jutsu had maimed him, but it was not as successful as she would have hoped. ...The ground we stand on is a frozen mass of water, which means that if it is ice up here then all the way through it should also be ice...The extremely cold temperatures also means that water could easily flash freeze also...However if she is capable enough not only will she be able to avoid it, but she will use it to her advantage...To create a hole like that only weakens the strength of the land and then she can use this against me and Tai himself...Tai is facing off against the Oto shinobi he spoke of before, I wonder if the result will be as conclusive as it was previously...This should be interesting and it won't be long before I speak to this girl...Blondie is not a welcomed nick name by any stretch of the imagination... Kei saw the glint of metal and batted the weapons away with the blade of energy in his palms. He gathered chakra in one hand and the familiar light of Cero began to form, he held it down by his side and pulled out a kunai and a several tags. He felt enough chakra be gathered and he looked towards Taeko, he reached for two more light bombs and looked towards the pair of them. He threw one light bomb at Taeko and another towards Ki, at the same time the chakra in Kei's hand exploded and a Cero shot forth towards Ki. This time though it was not designed for heat, but it was designed for piercing anything that came in its path. At the same time he also spun and launch the kunai with four tags towards Taeko and as it landed he launched the energy blade towards her and after three seconds exactly. This being the amount of time roughly it would have taken, Kei uttered Kai and the miniature bomb that was the kunai and tags exploded. It would cause a lot of physical damage if immediately close, but the heat and force of the tags would melt some ice and also cause a large crater to be formed right by her feet. If she wasn't careful she would fall down into this crater and have to fight her way out. "Pathetic Sunagakure shinobi..." |

As Ike smashed away the Kunai Garnet then flinched. He forgot about the 3 needles in his left hand and listened to him and began to walk away in the distance. He got about 30 ft away from him. " Im no wuss! Im a Shinobi from the village hidden in the leaves it is my duty to fight people whom try to destruct my village and that means your village. Now tell me your name or ill make you tell me!." As Garnet runs straight at him throwing hes 3 needles towards him then jumping in the air to do an ariel attack. And for safty he held a Kunai in hes right hand just incase the sound shinobi attacked him with weapons. As Garnet was in the Air he head someone talking into the radio. It was Takeshi. He asked him if he was close to the cave Garnet forgot all about the cave all he wanted was to fight someone with twice as much power as him. " No Takeshi, im going to fight this Sound Shinobi and im going to win with or without anyones help!. I know its gonna be slim to none but maybe hes powers are useless here and ill easily have the upperhand so if your going to help me come back here and fight with me!. |

Konoha's Wave
|
Quickly Ki knew what was going to happen. Either a head on taijutsu or some messed up ninjutsu he has not seen yet, no matter what, he made about two hand seals and jumped into the air, and dropped his hands with his eyes closed since he had no use for them. He suddenly got a bit fussy as he was in the air, and he could not think straight but he jutsu was set, just he could not think about it. His chakra poured out into his jutsu as he tried to clear his head, his sound waves made his barrier around himself, and he shook his head, glad he was in protection, but utterly confused. Out of no where a presence of chakra came to him, but he was unaware of the place, distance or anything. He just floated in the air, about to descend. A huge wave of blueish chakra came under Ki, but would hit him in the lower regions hard even with this guard up. Yes, it would cut some of it down, but that is about it. Not mentioning Ki can not twist, or evade further due to his current state of mind. I...cannot...move...or think correct...ly... The huge wave struck Ki's lower region, below the waist line, and he some of the blast was deflected into various directions of the arena, and even Taiteki's area, but the main part broke through and pushed him through the air, and cut, gashed, and burned his legs. Ki quickly descended from the blast and air, and rolled in the snow, as the cold helped his legs in a great way. He would surely be able to use them, just not to block anymore attacks. The good thing was, he was protected from the main part of the blast. Ki put his arms on the ground and pushed up into a kneeling position, and tried to stand. It was not hard for one reason, the state of mind. He was so confused and out of it, he could not see, think or move right. His legs hurt, and burned but that was not the main reason for not getting up. Ki thought it may be a genjutsu so he tried to move his hands to make the correct 'ram' seal. Yet, the seal did not even come close to the right one, so he tried releasing the chakra manually. He could focus some but not much came out, from his state of mind. He got the effect of movement to wear down on his legs, and arms, but he still could not form the right seal. "What...the hell...." Ki said quietly as he pushed himself up slowly and came to stand as his legs slightly bled, and burnt. He got up and opened his eyes, as it was still barely manageable, but now with both eyes he could see shadows but it was all blurry and disoriented, which was an improvement from no vision. Ki smirked and took out a kunai with a tag attached to the handle grip and stood there. He took his free hand, and press his radio button, silently and spoke softly but oddly he only could get out one word, he was now unaware of his movements and it seemed even with his slight release of some effects, the mains ones came on as he stood there. Ki was not down, or out of power nor weak, but the genjutsu was taking a toll on him mind wise. He could still fight without a doubt, once this genjutsu was rid of, but he needed some assistance just this once. "Taeko...p-please...be my eyes....this once..." |

Oh, you saucy temptress...
|
The Matsuro genin sat and watched calmly at the events unfolding in his team attack with Kei. Taiteki's genjutsu was a success, putting Ki in a state of disorientation. With Ki in the air, the disorientation only became heavier and harder to cope with, if at all. The kunai was the first to come as Taiteki closed his eyes and focused on his genjutsu. When the flash of light faded, Taiteki opened his eyes to see Kei's massive Cero tearing through. Taiteki didn't know that Kei made his Cero aim to tear through the enemy, but this would only make it worse for Ki's legs. The blast sent Ki flying as Taiteki carefully shifted his positioning to keep the genjutsu on Ki the entire time. Due to the genjutsu's wide fan-shaped range, he only had to shift a bit. When Ki finally hit the ground, Taiteki was able to focus better without having to slowly shift his body to Ki's direction of travel. I've used a bit of chakra already. I should give it a rest and use taijutsu. His legs are wounded. He will have trouble with evasion this time and won't be able to dodge me so easily like he did before. It looks like I still have a ways to go with taijutsu... "Thanks, Kei." Taiteki released his genjutsu, darting forward after Ki the instant his jutsu was released. He wanted to give his enemy the least amount of recovery time as possible. Ki, you've certainly improved after such a short time. That shows that I still need much training to compete with this generation of genin. Kei has already developed a deadly ninjutsu. I'll need to work harder with my taijutsu and genjutsu to stay in the higher ranks of genin and future ranks. Ki, you've grown too much. I'm sorry. I have no choice but to end your life here and now. I can't let a potential future threat to Kumogakure live. Your life ends now! Taiteki sent a wave of swift kicks to Ki's lower body, aiming to bash in Ki's wounds with as much speed, force, and pressure as possible. Once Ki would go to defend his legs more than his upper body, Taiteki would switch to a barrage of punches to Ki's face and neck. Then he'd repeat the cycle if Ki started defending his upper body more. He could not let up. He had to keep Ki on the constant defensive. If Ki moved to the side to evade, Taiteki would use his better movement (due to Ki's wounded legs) to keep up and continue his attacks. "Stay down!" |

As Garnet went to leave for Ike, Bakuto wanted to make notice that Takeshi did not go after his comrade. A three of diamonds playing card landed four feet from Takeshi and exploded. It was small but it gave the message for Takeshi to turn around. "HEY TAKESHI!" Bakuto grinned as he stood atop a hill. The wind blew the hem of his trench coat around. As Garnet ran off to fight his newest for Bakuto grinned. The headband on his head had two straight lines on the rigth side of the forehead protector. Everytime Bakuto would win a fight he marked it off. The first was for a mission he was in where he beat some cloud shinobi...and the second was Rikatu. "YOU THE GUY WHO BEAT MON AMI KINTARO?" Bakuto asked, his Japanese had gotten so much better. The tattered clothing whipped from the wind as Bakuto looked down at his new enemy, the soon to be third knife mark on his headplate. Bakuto was kept warm by keeping his kinetic energy stable in his body. Bakuto jumped down and laughed looking at him as he clapped. "I can't say he was much of a fighter that one..." Bakuto yelled over the roar of the wind as he pulled out the three metal bars connected side by side. He swung it down and the metal pieced together forming his staff. "As for me monsieur...I will not be so easy..." Bakuto pulled out two more playing cards and threw them. Coming close to Takeshi they split and landed in the snow. One five feet to the right of Takeshi and the other two feet to the left of Takeshi but more towards his back. Quickly the cards exploded, making snow and fire spray in every direction. To bad they weren't big explosions. At the angle Bakuto was facing Takeshi, the wind seemed to be in his favor but veered to the right at times. |

I'm steaming
|
Hakumei grinned slightly as Takai grabbed the chain he was foolish to believe that Takai wouldn't have seen it coming he had played right into Takai's hands, literally. The grin sudddenly turned to astonishment at what happened next. Ice shot up the chains towards Hakumei and he moved his sleeves to reveal the shackles binding them to his wrists. They could be taken off in the worst of scenarios but Hakumei knew he didn't have the time. He blasted steam in one quick blast using as little chakra as possible, since he wasn't directing or controlling it. It met the ice and subdued it before it reached Hakumei. However the rest of the chain was now frozen over and stiff. Hakumei was tugged forwards, he strengthened his footing on the wall and focused on Takai. Takai was using some jutsu and then there was a breif puff of smoke either side of him. Two clones had appeared by Takai but they were Kage bunshins this meant that it was now three versus three they didn't stand much of a chance before but now their chance was minute to an incomprehensible level, which was very minute. THey ran down towards Saiyuki and Nevets which meant ot looked like the real Takai was going to be facing Hakumei. He watched Saiyuki jump the clones and symbol for...Hakumei's arms clicked as they were rapidly jolted downwards. Takai was looking up at him but was not smiling, which ruined the image. Kuso, if I lose my footing I'll be dragged down to him where he can easily finish me off. Hah...These chains are stiff, he'd have to pull them down like they were long bamboo shoots to drag me down to him. Wait I get what Saiyuki is planning...This task is going to be difficult. Hakumei let go off the chains in his hands, he was still connected to Takai since the chains were on his wrists. However this meant that, like Takai, he could use hand symbols. He was dragged down again, his feet became unstuck and he quickly manuvered so his belly was against the wall. Luckily the chains were so stiff they could support his weight. He used chakra like he had done before to stand on the wall o lye on the wall. Hakumei pulled two kunai out his kunai pouch and moved his head to the left as he released one of the bundles of needles as well. The flew past him heading down the cliff face towards Takai. The he dug the kunai into the icy sides of the chasm cliff face, they were merely to stop him sliding down until he was ready. He didn't look at Saiyuki so that Takai couldn't guess what was happening by his eyes, nor did he let any sign of relief or worry enter his eyes. As soon as Saiyuki's gravity balls were heading for Takai Hakumei pushed off the wall in a light diagonal direction. This stacked with the pulling motion of Takai cracked the ice on the chains to allow them to move. Hakumei then began to fall but at a slow rate since the chains offered some resistance. Hakumei had dragged the kunai out with him and dropped them ahead of himself as he fell. They raced onwards towards Takai below. Hakumei began his hand seals for Jouki Bakufuu, the steam shot out his hands towards Takai and sped away from him. Now the chains were bundled onto each over the resistence they offered was slowing Hakumei down to a snails pace. This meant he was safely away from the action. If you jump away from the cliff face I'll merely change the steam direction. What will a jounin do in this situation. |

Dog of war

As Hasius got extremly close to Nago he saw the blast coming for him and swung to cut it away. The blat was destroyed however Hasius did still feel quite the knockback due to his air attack. As he went back Hasius took his blade in one hand and spun, then sweeping it along the ground he rolled away from the melted snow. As he rolled he threw two kunai and a shuriken and then just before landing he threw another shuriken. He found his ground and held his sword behind him in one hand with his other holding an outstretched kunai with a shuriken hidden in his sleeve. He charged at Nago qucikly flicking his kunai and then just prior to reaching him he released the hidden shuriken to throw off any balance and then he swung his blade in a wide arc aiming at about the middle of Nago's body. Quickly Hasius Dashed to the side and made to perform his jutsu. "Tell me Nago what do you fear? Seven ways to die." The jutsu was released and hasius prepared himself for a powerful jutsu. Lets see what it is Nago has up his sleeve for this one shall we. |

OOC: Long post ftw! lol “I told you. Leave me alone. Run away and don‘t try to fight in this war.” Ike held up his hand in the direction of the needles. He conducted some Jurei energy through his hands and spread it in the area around his hands. As the needles came towards Ike’s hand they crashed into an unseen force and fell to the soft snow. Only Ike would know that this was one of his newer jutsus, Seitoku. The shield would appear to be invisible unless an action of close inspection was taken, as the Seitoku was pure white and blended in with the snow. As Garnet came to about 10 feet away from Ike, he heard Garnet speak to himself. Ike guessed he must have been carrying a radio transceiver, just like the one he had. Rushing towards Garnet at only 50% of his true speed, Ike held out one fist. He ran forward in such a way that Garnet’s stomach would collide into Ike’s fist. He also used his speed to make sure Garnet wouldn’t be able to block or counter-attack. Why is it this way? I shouldn’t be forced to fight such innocent people. As Ike closed in on Garnet, he tensed the muscles of his right arm. This was to stop any damage he may receive to his right arm when his fist would impact into Garnet. Ike didn’t want to kill him, only disable him. He wouldn’t be surprised if the Genin couldn’t get up afterwards, a direct blow to the stomach made many people feel so much pain, even some would fall unconscious. This is a match you can not win kid… --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Time to give him a taste of his own medicine. I’ll be taking away one of his senses this time around… Grabbing onto the cloth as soon as he saw the illusionist from afar (before he throws kunai and casts illusion etc.), Kazuki channelled some of his solar energy into it. It began to glow with a fierce light. Since they were in an arctic climate, Kazuki was in an advantageous position without having to do anything. Heh…in the arctic, the sun shines strongly 20 hours out of every 24 hours. You picked the wrong environment to challenge me in… Using his bloodline, Kazuki’s jutsu was powered up to the maximum. It was much stronger than during wet weather or a storm, and it cost him the same amount in chakra. Another advantage. Within a few milliseconds Kazuki’s jutsu was ready. He released the energy while saying the jutsu name. He did it just for that dramatic atmosphere. “Hikage Senkou!” Since Akira had to look at Kazuki to cast his illusions and throw his projectiles, Kazuki guessed that he would have been looking straight at him when he used the jutsu, thus blinding him greatly. Once the jutsu stopped, which didn’t take that long, Kazuki immediately ran from his position while talking as loudly as he could. This was to create an echoing effect, and make sure that Akira couldn’t guess were he was as long as he kept running. He shouted so loud that probably his footsteps in the snow couldn’t even be heard. “So Illusionist-kohai! Didn’t your mother ever tell you not to look directly into the sun?!” Kazuki laughed. Even though he had revealed his power, it didn’t take a genius to know that the jutsu he used before was a solar jutsu. Kazuki looked down to the ground he was running on an instantly came up with another strategy. He guessed the temperature was at least -30 degrees if not lower. That’s why they were wearing these stupid outfits, to block out the cold. Genjutsu users rely on tricks of the mind…but if I rely on the environment, it doesn’t matter if I’m caught in a Genjutsu…since they can’t change the environment! Kazuki smiled once more as he continued shouting insults at Akira, keeping us his loud booming voice. He wondered what Sena would think he was doing. Kazuki felt like an idiot, but he needed his voice to echo around Akira so he could not locate his position. Kazuki then channelled more of the sun’s energy to the tip of his lance. It grew stronger and hotter, just like the sun did every day. Of course, all he needed was a small beam that was hot since he wasn’t trying to damage Akira directly. This in turn, kept the chakra cost down for him. “Hikage Dangan!” A beam of the solar energy shot and the ground beneath Akira. It instantly turned into water because of the heat of the beam. Kazuki then smiled as the sub zero temperatures around them instantly froze the water again. Because Kazuki had melted the snow around Akira, his feet would get trapped within the ice. Kazuki would then follow this up with a direct hit from his lance using his Hikage Kujiku move, which would also be powered up. Even if he somehow knows it’s coming and jumps up into the air, I have a strategy for that as well. The only way he can escape this is to either run forward or backwards, and that’s no use since I can attack him from there. Oh, not to mention he’ll still be blind. Unless he has a move that can allow him to travel into the snow, he’s going to lose this fight. Then I can team up with Sena and destroy his partner. Say farewell, Illusionist-kohai. |
