Axel nodded secretly. He understood Saiyuki's plans. Axel didn't smile, didn't make a sound as he removed a glove which immediately turned red from the cold. out of the pores in his palm came his ink and it looked like he made a similar move to the sticky ink. The clouds luminated brightly around them as if the only visible scene to axel was this battle going on. Three genin...taking on a jounin...in his own element...and 3/5's of Axel's powers were rendered useless...Axel felt as useless as a maple tree in the middle of a forest inhabited by no creatures at all. "I can't underestimate myself...and I know I can't underestimate this man..." It looekd like Axel Edakumi was making another Sticky ink jutsu from the distance. He sneakily and unseen by the others ran around through the snow and past the boulders and ice blocks keeping hiim hidden. The trail of ink was thrown at Takai as Axel went towards into Takai. After running quickly instraight lines making a stream of ink and cutting his breath short because of the cold weather he looked at it from a distance. He shot a final connection from the ink streak to the stream of ink formed that was stil liquid I hope this plan works Sai...for both our sakes... In his other hand the exploding seal, just a bit smaller, formed out of the ink as it froze he pushed it down the stream like a boat on a river and when it was about two feet from behind Takai's back he clapped his hands releasing it and the seal exploded covering about a diameter of eight feet to save Axels chakra. |

As Kintaro hit the ground from Takeshi's assault, Takeshi jumped about 50 feet away to keep himself a fair distance away. He saw his opponent climb out of the hole that was created on impact and prepared himself to continue fighting. The blizzard had lightened up a very miniscule amount but it was enough to allow Takeshi to clearly see Kintaro from his distance. To survive that, this one has potential..... Takeshi began walking toward Kintaro slowly and watched as he touched the ground from which grew a thirty foot plant field. Kintaro quickly blended into the field and Takeshi lost sight of him but continued approaching slowly. All of a sudden thorns shot out of the plants at Takeshi very quickly. Takeshi performed hand signs for his technique and spoke it's name. "Katon: Nenshou-hada jutsu (Fire Style: Burning body jutsu)" Takeshi's entire body lit with a flame that did not burn him or any of his clothes. As the thorns reached him they were incinerated. He kept walking towards the field of plants with only one thing in his mind : victory. "You can either surrender now, or I will walk into your field and you will go up in flames along with the entire thing....your choice." The snow evaporated as it hit his flaming body, generating steam and warming him even more, this technique actually helped him in more ways than one. It made him able to burn things as well as insulate himself. "You have ten second to decide before I continue my attack....ten....nine..." |

As Takeshi was counting down, Kintaro was trying to think of a plan. His left arm was very bruised from Takeshi's last attack. He could barely move it at all. Sh*t... a fire user... I knew i would end up fighting one. I need an attack that will. Wait.. my armor should be able to stop me from taking some of that fire damage. Kintaro slammed his fist onto his chest plate with pride. He stood up and was ready for battle. He jumped back, out of his terrain and stood there. He was standing right behind his terrain in case Takeshi would fight from a distance. This way he could raise a plant to take the hit for him. Kintaro pulled out two kunai, and jumped straight into the air, with the wind in his face. He threw both of them at Takeshi's flaming body, hoping to prevent his attack a little longer. He landed back into his spot. |

As Zen walked away from his team mates just so he could heal himself in a cave and not even trying to help out his team mates. Garnet couldnt understand how anyone could be as cold hearted it must just be because he is in the sound village or something. " Come on Rikatu and Takeshi you guys can do it!" Garnet then wondered towards where he thought was gonna be them he wondered into a totally different direction and headed towards other Shinobi. Garnet commenced hes walking for about 5 minutes and couldnt sense anyone. He had no idea where he was all he knew is that it was getting cold. Garnet even forgot in which direction he was walking in because he was cirlcing himself trying to figure out where he was. He then looked for footprints but the snow kept over lapping them. " Hello? Is there anyone out there?" He then saw a small figure in the distance he didnt know who it would be but he had to take the chance because it could of been someone from Konoha. Garnet ran up to the person and tapped them on the shoulder he looked unfamiliar and as the person on the should he turned around and the first thing Garnet saw was the Sound Shinobi headband. Garnet quickly grabbed a kunai and put it up to the Sound ninjas face. " Who are you?" As the sweat was going down Garnets face he just hoped he wasnt like a Chuunin or worse a Jounin. Garnet didnt know what to expect but he didnt wanna look afriad to this unknown sound shinobi. As he klunched his Kunai he was getting 3 needles ready in his otherhand if he was to disarm the kunai and attack him. |

Ike turned round to see a nervous looking Konoha shinobi. By his slightly smaller build and the way he held the kunai to Ike’s face, he immediately knew this boy was nothing more than a newly recruited Genin. Ike sighed and thrust the kunai away from his face. He turned around and walked away leaving the boy on his own. “Go away kid. I’m looking for a real challenge…not some innocent person like you.” Ike folded his arms and waited again. He was sure somebody would challenge him. Somebody who wouldn’t die so easily, unlike the kid behind him. Ike sighed once more. The violent chaos around him was becoming too big to block out. Soon, even he might join in with it. He didn’t really want that. That boy…he’s too young to be out here. I still saw it in his eyes. That innocent, helpless look in the face of danger. “Run away…” Ike spoke with a soft voice. He didn’t usually do so, he usually had quite a loud personality, resulting in a loud voice. Sounds of battle roared around him and he couldn’t keep himself out. He clenched the fabric on the outside of his arms. He still sensed the boy’s chakra around him. Kids these days…they just didn’t listen. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whistling… Kazuki could hear the faint noise of something ripping through the air. Even thought the wind was blowing about them it did not make the same noise as whatever this noise was. Kazuki suddenly realised it must be this guy’s partner trying to attack in the middle of battle. Kazuki whipped round to see…nothing. However he could still hear the noise, it was coming closer. Tricks… Kazuki spun his lance around as quickly as he could. He blocked the two needles aimed for his arm and neck, but the third aimed for his knee struck. Finally, Kazuki heard another clash against his lance as he spun. He hadn’t expected a 4th attack. Kazuki moved towards his opponent. Suddenly, an explosion had occurred. Kazuki was hit in the back, but thanks to his stupidity of continuing his attack he hadn’t been hit at point blank range. Damn… Kazuki immediately rolled over, causing the fire that had spread on his jacket to disappear. He got up and checked his back. Even though no clothing had been damaged, Kazuki could feel his back in pain. He must have gotten a few burns from the explosion. He got up and looked around for the speed demon ninja. Thank god my back isn’t exposed. In this temperature I would have received frost-bite within minutes. Kazuki then noticed that the ninja had jumped back. He was about to rush in with another attack, when he noticed that when the ninja landed, there were no tracks in the snow. There were also sounds of snow crunching coming from behind him. Kazuki smiled as he whipped round, his lance aimed for the person behind him. “Take this!” If Kazuki’s guess was right and his attack was on target, Kazuki would then try to force back the ninja. He needed to keep his guard up however, as the partner ninja seemed to be focused on causing distractions and chaos. Kazuki then burst out with a comment. He raised his voice so the partner ninja could hear him. “Your illusions are second rate! Try better next time, Crappy Illusionist-kun!” |

Takeshi continued his countdown waiting for Kintaro to decide. As he saw Kintaro jump and threw kunai at him he had made his own decision. The decision to end this now , he had tried giving his opponent the peaceful way out , Kintaro had declined by openly attacking. "Bad choice...." Takeshi sprinted right towards Kintaro, the kunai hit the ground behind him. He grabbed three of his own kunai and covered them with the flames that his body was producing. He threw the group of flaming kunai to various points of Kintaro's terrain while running. As they touched the plants, the kunais ignited the plants, soon the whole 30 foot area began to burn. Takeshi ran into the flaming terrain, his flaming body now camouflaged by the leaping fire. Now your terrain is my advantage..... Seeing that Kintaro was standing right behind the terrain, Takeshi altered his angle so that he wasn't running straight at Kintaro like he would have been if he had continued running straight through. Takeshi emerged from the terrain and threw a punch and quickly followed that punch with his Shuukan Rendan (Custom Barrage). He began throwing his rapid punches which would be amplified by the fire covering him, which would leave small burns all over the body. He drew a plain wire and attempted to tie Kintaro around the body. "If one good thing comes from this it is that you are making me think in different ways...." As soon as Takeshi thought he had made contact with the wire he sent his flames over it hopefully at Kintaro, if this hit he would be covered in burns. |

"Oh?" Akira smiled as he easily damaged his enemy, leaving him with a weakened knee and a burnt back. He glanced at Sakyuu. Since his partner, Sakyuu, was indeed a speed demon, he should have already bypassed Kazuki. However, Akira was taking no chances in crushing someone into the pits of hell. He had just been testing Kazuki's perception by only affecting his sense of sight. He knew that shinobi should be able to use their ears as well as their eyes. However, Akira was about to unleash hell upon him as he prepared to take away more of his senses. He started moving in within the chaos of the battle, using blood, snow and falling bodies to help hide him. Then his eyes glinted red as he sent another illusion towards Kazuki. You cannot escape from me. Akira then sent forth another illusion, which was on an higher level than the child's play of an illusion that he did before. However, before he did such a thing, he kept moving around as he threw 2 needles and another explosion tag wrapped around a kunai. One needle was aiming for his right shoulder while the other for his other knee. The explosion tag was aiming to completely expose his back and further burn his back as well as his neck/head. Right after he threw the explosion tag, he shot forth his genjutsu. It was simply to Kazuki's mind and senses that he suddenly stopped moving as his legs were being sucked into the snow. The snow would take the appearance of hands trying to drag Kazuki into the snow. Then, a wave of snow all around him would rise and fall unto Kazuki. This was an real illusion that shinobi used. The one Akira had used before was simply a magician's one-trick phony compared to this, where all of the enemy's senses were to be affected. If you thought my earlier illusion was even in the same league as my real illusions, you are about to experience an rude awakening. This was not all. Akira wanted to finish Kazuki here and now. While keeping the genjutsu in play, he started to move in towards Kazuki, though not at a fast pace. He wanted to get closer so he could attack after his two needles and explosion tag had done its work. After the explosion tag had exploded, Akira had calculated that the wind would be able to blow away most of the smoke very quickly, which therefore left Kazuki open to a follow-up attack. He smiled as he moved in. Once the explosion tag had gotten close enough to burn off the remaining clothing on Kazuki's back and also cause some more burns to it, Akira detonated. One second after he detonated, he stopped his illusion and moved in for the kill. As expected, the strong wind caused enough of the smoke to go away that Akira could distinctly see Kazuki's body. Then he started with a quick thrust with Tensei that aimed for the heart. Then he followed up with 3 slashes that would each cause a long and painful gash on Kazuki's body if he just took it. If Kazuki started to use some jutsus, Akira would reply with an illusion. Be thankful I'm being mericful....If I used Shu no Shura on you right now where you should be damaged by my needles and explosions, you would already be in your grave. |

Kintaro took all of Takeshi's punches and fell to his knees. He was bleeding from his mouth and was so tired that he couldn't move. He watched as his plants went on fire. He swore under his breath and fell to the ground. He was lying down in a awkward position and could not move. He felt as if he were paralyzed. Kintaro looked at his opponent as he was trying to tie him up. Kintaro swung his hand at his opponent, trying to keep him away but it was useless. Takeshi tied him up and Kintaro went along with it. He kept his eyes open long enough to look at his plants burn to the ground. The he close his eyes and fell asleep. |

I'm steaming
|
OOC: Sorry I missed a lot...If I forget anything in this post then please PM and I will rectify the problem asap. IC: Hakumei felt the chakra wash over him, it seemed foolish and wastful until Hakumei remembered Takai wasn't in trouble of running out of chakra anytime soon. Then he listened to what was being said by Takai. “Hmm…Steam it is then? Well for you to be able to produce such a large amount of steam in these conditions…Your body must be wholly ungodly. Then there is you Saiyuki, I remember watching your fights very well, you were quite the combatant…Inky boy as well…You do know that your Ink will freeze in these conditions correct? It will freeze like water, but I think I will show you that myself…” Kuso, he already knows all are abilities and has explained them in a nutshell. There is no way we can win this now. It's lucky that I haven't moved my hands out their current position, then I'd be visible to everyone. Axel's is already going in with an attack? Hakumei watched Axel's ink freeze as quickly as it had formed from his body, there was a moment of introspection and then Takai jumped to the cliff face and threw tagged kunai to the walls. Hakumei cussed lightly under his breath and whispered to himself. "So he is a terrorist willing to allow the death of his men for the death of ours. No doubt he would tell his Kazekage that it was a neccessary sacrifice. Hakumei didn't like the word sacrifice because generally the people being sacrificed didn't know what was happening. His sister didn't know what was happening and what she was dying for. There was a clattering of arrows as Konoha and Kumo decided that they would sacrifice men for 'the greater good' as well. An arrow went thunk into the ground by Hakumei's foot. He snapped it and then looked up at Takai. Hakumei started to run and then leaped up to Takais left keeping himself a minimum of five metres away at all time even when using the steam genjutsu to travel. Takai was facing down into the chasm area so as soon as Hakumei was safely out of his peripheral he let the genjustu drop. He then slowly moved around till he was directly above Takai. Below he could see Saiyuki using sign language to tell him to use his chains to incapacitate Takai. He was now risking his life to get in a clean shot at Takai. He raced down and let the chains roll out behind him and then he stopped moving his hands to each side and let gravity do the hard work of carrying down the chains. They swept down in an arc towards the figure below. Luckily the wind wasn't strong enough to move the heavy chains into making them fly off to the side. As the dropped past Takai one chain to each side Hakumei pulled them to make it so that they could wrap around Takai forcing his arms to his side and pinning them there, then Hakumei would catch the loose ends making it near impossible for Takai to get out. Hakumei watched as the ink rushed towards Takai, it seemed foolish for Axel to use the same attack again but Hakumei understood what was going to happen. ________________________________________________________________ OOC: Post two of five of the triple speed jutsu. IC: Sakyuu breifly glanced back to see Akira start fighting the second person in the group they were attacking. Sakyuu realised that this meant they coulddn't work as a team and that both would have to win their fights or they would both lose. Sakyuu heard Akira telling him to move the smaller of the pair away from Akira and his target. Sakyuu started to run around the smoke whilst it cleared so he could confuse his opponent further with the whirring noise of the two fuuma shuriken. After the second run around which took little time he stopped and with almost no effort and no blood stopped the shurikens dead and slipped them noislessly into the two pockets on his back, the red metal had already almost cooled in the wind as they reached the bottom of the pockets. The remaining warmth travelled through the clothes and hit Sakyuu's back making him feel better. Sakyuu then immediatly pulled out two small normal shuriken and whirred them on his finger, this made it almost sound like he had sped up the weapons even further. Then he threw them into the slowly clearing smoke as soon as he could make out shadows in the coils of smoke. He threw them in different directions each because his opponent had wisely choosen to stand still so Sakyuu had no indication of which darker area was his opponent or the smoke from the blast from the chakra arrow. So a person who Akira believes relies on his speed has the unfortunate luck to be fighting me on this cold day. It is sad to know the youth of today are not trying to become mixed in all ability...Apart from chakra weapons, which seems a risky wasteful stratergy, I have little else to fear, avoid arrows seems a good thing to do. Now the smoke was cleared and Sakyuu was able to clearly see his opponent. He had taken some damage already and Sakyuu felt that it was unsporting for him not to admit defeat now. Some form of acknowledgement seemed to be in order but saying I'm Sakyuuu prepare to be attacked heavily didn't seem adaquet. |

I LOVE TO SUCK THOSE TINY ICICLES!
|
Takai could see a stream of Ink coming his way from Axel and he smiled, he wrenched out the two kunai in the cliff face and threw them down at the ground. He whispered Kai as they hit the ground and saw the Ink stream above the tags. The tags exploded and in front of Takai formed a screen of ice that withstood the blast of the tags. The tags would send the frozen ink well away from Takai, which would render Axel's attack useless. It would also cause a lot of ice and snow to be thrown up around him as well as creating a sizeable hole in the floor. Anything in the nearby area of the tags would also feel the blasts. Takai smiled as he could feel his chakra bouncing back and forth like echo-location in a sense. The reaction from his comment about sacrificing all those hadn't affected Hakumei. Nor had it Axel, but it had seemed to have some sort of effect on Saiyuki. Takai was able to glean some knowledge about his character, albeit not a lot. However some was better than nothing. He collected some chakra as soon the tags had exploded and he punched the ice that he stood on. The ice cracked and formed a V at the top and a large chunk of about fifteen foot in diameter fell down. Takai hopped down from the cliff face and stepped sideways as this V of ice fell. As it fell it also gained some distance so the encroaching Saiyuki, and his balls of gravity, if they were to continue in their assault would be crushed by the huge block of ice. Takai looked up once again and decided it would be best to move slightly sideways more a bit. This brought him closer to the area in which Hakumei was residing in, but he did not know this. Takai watched the ice collide with the ground and knew that if Saiyuki or Axel were near him then they would be greatly injured. However they would have had enough time to escape its immediate impact. Takai looked towards the huge block of ice, and clenched his fist and then quickly opening it. The ice exploded outwards and sent shards all around its position. However before the ice shards would reach him, they would be stopped by his Kekkai Genkai. ...Where would Hakumei be then... Takai then heard the sound of chains screeching along ice and looked up, he saw chains be whipped towards him and he smiled. He threw up an arm and ice wrought forth and gripped hold of a chain. He pulled the chain towards one of his arms and the chains wrapped around his one arm. He allowed a small burst of chakra explode from his arm and into the chain and directed it to Hakumei. As the cold ran up the metal the links were frozen together and the chains began to lose a lot of their flexibility. Takai smiled and looked towards Hakumei and made note of his size. He tugged gently and then with all his might he pulled down on the chains. His hand was free as the chains were wrapped around his forearm and a lot of his arm. He formed the hand seals as best as he could and uttered the words, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu". Around Takai two clones appeared and Takai once again continued to try and pull down the Konoha shinobi. The clones separated and headed for Saiyuki and Axel. He reduced the chakra they held so they only were that of a Chuunin level. ...Saiyuki is their leader, Axel is the faithful and loyal servant and Hakumei is the overseer, he will do the difficult tasks...Saiyuki poses a problem with his Kekkai Genkai, Gravity affects all regardless of rank and Hakumei's steam is obviously hot enough to withstand the cold temperatures here. Axel is unpredictable and I fear somewhat of a Kamikaze shinobi... |
