ooc: guys stop, you can't keep posting back and forth, at least wait for 5 or 6 posts to go by before posting yourself. Because it's not fair to everyone else to have to deal with the extra pages.

ic:

As the battle raged on a line of archers moved in from the west east and south, letting out a hail of arrows, toward the main battle. Planted a few clicks out from the battle field, it was a trap to make the allied army seem weaker than they really were. A massive volley of hundreds of arrows rained down upon the field of clashing ninjas. Kin dashed into the field, his Kusarigama had already cleaved off the heads of several ninjas, and blood sprayed as he twirled it through the air ready to claim another life.

this thrill, I have no recollection of war....but it feels like I am accustomed to it, I'm not afraid, I'm not nervous. It all feels so natural, like I was born here

I LOVE TO SUCK THOSE TINY ICICLES!
Takai stood still the whipping winds tearing about him as closed his eyes. He cracked his neck to the left and right. His cloak continued to bellow as the wind plumes it outwards and Takai wipes the snow off his face; his stark orange hair beginning to hold white flecks of snow. He licked his lips and he seemed entirely normal, this cold was not affecting him detrimentally in anyway. It was the first time in a long while that Takai had been in his element and the power he could feel from it was slightly overwhelming. He smiled as the cool air caressed his body and Takai felt at ease. Releasing a burst of chakra outwards in 360 degrees, the chill wave clawed out all around him. It hit the three Genin around him and as his chakra wrapped around their bodies he knew their position. His eyes opened and where they stood several things seemed to be occurring. Saiyuki was making some hand signs, Hakumei had formed hand seals and had been enshrouded in steam and Axel was doing something on the ground. Takai laughed gently to himself and he cracked his knuckles and unclipped Zangetsu. The beast of a blade fell into the ground and sliced into the ice, lodging itself firmly in the ground. Zangetsu would remain firmly stuck in the ice until he decided to remove it, but for now he would deal with the Genin without using the blade.

“Hmm…Steam it is then? Well for you to be able to produce such a large amount of steam in these conditions…Your body must be wholly ungodly. Then there is you Saiyuki, I remember watching your fights very well, you were quite the combatant…Inky boy as well…You do know that your Ink will freeze in these conditions correct? It will freeze like water, but I think I will show you that myself…”

Takai brought a finger to his lips and blew out of his mouth. His breath being super cooled as it travelled towards Axel’s ink. It hit and due to the even more extreme temperatures the ink froze. Takai then spun round and with the same burst of air he blew away the steam around Hakumei, the temperatures of the steam causing the ice around him to melt and he would be caught in a pool of water soon if he was not careful. To have steam under such pressure would make its temperature more than hot enough to combat these temperatures. However the Fuuton that Takai had produced was enough to force the steam back and away from him. He reached into his weapon holsters and pulled out three kunai, each with an exploding tag attached to them. Takai launched himself towards the cliff face and stood upon it, so he was horizontal to the ground. He threw two kunai into the cliff face he was stood on and another on the one opposite him.

“Attack me more, or I will have to get my excitement and enjoyment by causing the cliff to be destroyed…Then that would mean all your comrades would also fall down into what would be the icy crevasse…You would be the cause of all their deaths…I wonder, what is the word I need to say…Ka…Ka something…I just can’t remember”

Takai smiled as he gave them their option, it was true of a sick and sadistic Suna shinobi. He was simply continuing the stereo-type and revelling in it.

OOC: Kintaro you didn't even respond to my shockwaves so RP that they hit in your next post or something

IC: Takeshi watched on as Kintaro retracted his vines which drew the kunai into his hand, which would cause him pain. He then saw a spiked fist of vines form around Kintaro's left fist. He rushed at Takeshi and jumped and then swung his other vine and followed with a punch. Takeshi looked at this and quickly devised a plan that was simple and effective , to him anyway.

"Poor tactics and swinging wildly will get you nowhere....Shuukan Rendan (Custom barrage)"

Takeshi jumped up and leveled with Kintaro and blocked the vine with his gauntlet. He proceeded with his technique by throwing mulitple punches and kicks while rotating in air, adding more force to the strikes. He then tried to grab him and smash him into the ground while releasing another shockwave from point blank range.

"Chisoku-kei jutsu (speed whip jutsu)"

The difference between us is our experience, he has too little battle experience...

Sena had continued fighting close range, his claws soon stained with blood. His eye's had seemed to glint red as he continued fighting, using his speed to it's full advantage. The needles flew through the air and Sena didn't even notice, the two seconds was all they needed for them to reach their target the three sticking into Sena's upper arm. Sena felt the little bee sting like pain and whipped around, seeing the kunai flying in an ark. He flipped backwards, his claws flying almost magnetically to his sides as his hand gripped the strong wood of his bow and the chakra that lightly focused into the shape of a crude arrow shot off intercepting the kunai and exploding. Sena landed his bow already on his back and his body moving into a defensive stance.

The torque bow technique is probably my most developed technique but it can only hold it's shape for a few moments

The smoke covered the area around Sena and the kunai flew past him, one knicking his side. Then the whistling of metal through the wind sharply echoed through out the battle field. Sena slowly stood his ground, not knowing exactly where the sound was coming from.

OOC: Only going to post as Kazuki for now, until a challenger arrives to face Ike XD

Kazuki saw the speeding image of a shinobi, followed by an explosion. Kazuki immediately grabbed his lance and ran forwards. He wasn’t too far away from Sena as he had already started walking towards him before. Spotting an Oto nin standing outside the smoke he charged forward, lifting his lance over his head.

“Let’s fight Sparky!”

Kazuki brought down his lance to the shinobi, who might have been surprised by Kazuki’s entry. Kazuki suspected that the enemy had done their homework, and surveyed that Sena was in a 3 man team. Kazuki kept his guard up as he knew this shinobi in front of him wouldn’t be so reckless as to challenge three people of equal skill.

His friend must be nearby, either hiding or waiting for his chance to attack. I need to get into an advantageous position. Also, what was he doing before? He seemed to have even more speed than Wrath-kun…

Once the strike to the shinobi rang true, Kazuki would follow it up with a brief 5 strike combo before retreating back and waiting for his opponent to attack. If he managed to dodge the attack, and by Kazuki’s estimation he would, Kazuki would fall back into his defensive stance, ready for either the Oto shinobi or his partner/partners.

Oh, you saucy temptress...
Taiteki did not stop there after throwing his light bomb at Ki. He immediately dived forward, continuing to do so to make himself as hard to strike as possible. Rolling to his right, he started the motions of the next roll as soon as the previous one was complete. The sound of a blast rang through his ears, already slightly sensitive from Ki's Sound Drill technique. Rolling forward, he made the mistake of rolling more toward the blast, sending him flying forward toward Ki. His back was slightly burnt. Landing on the ground, he kept his eyes closed the entire time, suddenly rolling forward as he fell to the ground, reducing the pain of the impact greatly. Rolling his slightly burnt back on the snow left for a soothing feeling on the pain. In mid forward roll, he made a few quick handseals using his rolling body to block Ki's view of the handseals. Finishing the roll, he thrust his palms out at Ki's general direction. They were now about six feet away from each other from the constant rolling. Slowly the dizziness was fading, though the constant rolling kept him rather nauseas.

"Seken Douyou no Jutsu (Shaking World Technique)!"

Taiteki's genjutsu shot out in an ark-/fan-shape for Ki. Ki would not have time to remember the effects of the jutsu because he would hopefully be too busy being disoriented by said jutsu. Whether he was successfully caught by the genjutsu or not, he would have to react in some way or another and would most likely be caught and unable to focus. If he did manage to escape the genjutsu, he'd hopefully be too busy evading the genjutsu to realize what was about to happen. Taiteki spoke gently into his headset, his words masked over from Ki's hearing from the strong winds.

"Kei, Cero."

If Ki was caught by the wide-ranged genjutsu, he'd be a potential sitting duck for Kei and Tai's combination attack. If he evaded, he'd potentially be too preoccupied with evading Taiteki's genjutsu to realize that Kei's Cero (which was not too surprisingly faster than Taiteki's Cero) would be coming for Ki from behind.

Kintaro missed his vine and punch attacks. Takeshi attacked him and Kintaro parried the first two hits. Other then those two he was hit very hard at some of his weak points. He couldn't stop them because they were too fast for even him. The punches and kicks flying around made Kintaro feel very slow and weak compared to him. After Takeshi was done with his attacks he sent a shock wave at Kintaro from point blank range. Kintaro was knocked towards the ground and was hit about 5 feet into the earth.

"Shit, this guy is good" Kintaro said stepping out of the crater Takeshi made him create. His vine was useless as it was ripped to shreds by the sound wave. His left hand with the plant fist was still in tact but weaker then before.

to get this guy... i need something big. Something that will blow him away.

Kintaro lowered his fists towards the small pile of dirt and raised a field of plants. The plants spread out within a 30 foot range. He walked into the field and camouflaged himself within the plants. He walked towards the front and pointed the plants towards Takeshi. "Jinsoku Toge (Rapid Thorns)" Around 4 plants shot thorns towards Takeshi. He then walked back into his terrain and kneled.

Saiyuki observed as Hakumei sent forth steam all around Takai. They were keeping their distance, so that they have would slightly more reaction time in case Takai rushed at them with a huge amount of speed. Saiyuki shook his head when he saw that Axel had his ink frozen soon after he sent it to hit Takai. However, Saiyuki wasn't unduly worried. In the midst of fighting certain death, all he had on his face was a smile; his whole body was tingling with excitement. Saiyuki's mind was racing as he tried to think up some ways to get Takai. His brain raced through a different idea for every few seconds that passed. Then he made a swift glance at Hakumei. Saiyuki knew that in order for them to win, all three of them would have to be fully in synch with each other so as not to mess up.

He's dropped his sword......well, I cannot blame him for thinking us weak. Hakumei, bind him with your chains. Axel, your ink hasn't been completely sealed.

Saiyuki was keeping an wary eye on Takai while rapidly sending advanced signals to his teammates, and tried to make them as simple as possible. Saiyuki did this fluidly, as he was the one who made this code up after all. He had already explained to them how it worked. Hakumei would get the message of 'capture', 'arms', 'legs' and 'chains'. Saiyuki also knew that while normal ink would be frozen, it didn't matter if the ink was already solidified or it was in the form of the kanji of explosion. Saiyuki therefore gave the message of 'jutsus' to Axel. Takai would have no idea what the hell was going on between the two, and Saiyuki did this while he was talking, using his multi-tasking skills to both listen and command. Saiyuki then laughed in a soft but clear voice when he heard Takai make his statement after he threw the two kunai up to the cliffs and threatened to explode them.

"So you're willing to kill your own men as well as ours? It's too bad, but I believe that our men will pull through, survive and then all of us will win this battle."

Is this what a Jounin of Suna does? Ha.....he is nothing at all like Gekkou Kin or Mishima Jin. Hakumei, Nevets, let's go!

Saiyuki gave one of the commands that signaled start. He made sure that his opponent wouldn't be able to figure out his commands since he had more than one command for basic commands such as 'go', 'retreat', etc. Once Takai did, their chances of winning went from near zero to even nearer to zero. Saiyuki then specifically gave Axel the command of 'explode' and 'ink'. Takai would just think Axel was wasting his time with sending more ink at him and would naturally let it freeze before seeing that the ink was in a kanji form. Even if it were frozen, the power of the explosion would not be too badly hampered, especially if it had more than usual chakra put into it or mulitple explosions. He would be more focused on Hakumei and Saiyuki, which made the probabilty of Axel's attack succeeding higher. In Saiyuki's mind eye, Hakumei was to stay the mid to long range attacker as well as using his steam to defend and Axel was to be mid-range attacker and counter-puncher while Saiyuki was the close to mid-range attacker. Saiyuki knew about his dangerous position, but it was quite necessary in coming up with an effective strategy against Suna's best.

Guys, carry out this plan in any way you want....but we have to make this work. Take this, Takai.

Saiyuki would wait for Hakumei to shoot his chains out and then rushed in with Reiki. His bloodline was going at max power and his dragon was ready to respond at any second to help protect Saiyuki. Saiyuki whipped up a great deal of snow at Takai without getting too close to hamper his vision of the chains and Saiyuki. Saiyuki knew that the chains would come from a different direction as he sidestepped. Then he used his Particle Formation jutsu to send 2 orbs underneath the surface of the snow and aimed them at Takai's feet, where they would explode in a compressed gravity field. If it hit, Takai's movement would be seriously handicapped. It also had the purpose of preventing Takai from using a jutsu. He also dashed at Takai right after, and activated Double C-S Reiki as he went and made a 5 stroke attack at Takai, with also the dual purpose of preventing Takai from making ninjutsu. Saiyuki then reduced his gravity zone to around the distance between him and Takai, which had the effect of inducing pressure on Takai's movements, therefore slowing him down a bit. Right now, Takai and Saiyuki were at one of the points of a triangular formation while Axel and Hakumei were at the other two points. In case Takai launched an punishing counterattack, Saiyuki was ready to use his Particle Formation to make a shield/barrier to protect himself.

The chains should have reached Takai by now. The ink, which would be frozen quickly, should still have traveled enough to be able to explode and scorch Takai. Not to mention, my two gravity bombs also should have reached him by now. Takai, even if we're destined to lose, we won't simply resign to fate!

Akira smiled as Sena cringed in pain from his needles piercing his body. They would be useful in hampering his movements later on. He also observed that Sena was able to form a bow out of chakra. Akira assumed that he would be able to do other objects as well. Akira's attention then turned to his partner, Sakyuu. Akira was quite amazed at his speed. While Akira's speed in his Shu no Shura state was well above the level of genin, Sakyuu had surpassed it completely. He smiled as he wondered what facial expression Sena would have when he learned that there was always someone above you and how he would despair against Sakyuu's speed. Akira then ducked, as he was still in the midst of a chaotic battle. Akira spoke into his headset as he observed the current situation.

"Sakyuu, beware of his weapons. But besides that, I trust you to go and crush him. Do not worry about his partners, just get away from them. My illusions can take them. But we must make sure they cannot help each other. "

Akira then turned his attention to Kazuki. He would let Sakyuu take care of Sena. In terms of individual ability, Sakyuu's power would rank higher than Sena, from what Akira saw so far. Sakyuu was faster, and that would prove a huge advantage. Sena's ability was quite interesting, but he had some major weaknesses. First of all, Akira could tell that he looked quite fragile and was only relying on his speed and jutsus to survive. From what he heard, Sakyuu would have earned the title of second oldest genin, with Akira being the first. Sakyuu had at the very least more strength than Sena as well as more experience. If Sena's speed was surpassed and his fatal flaw of a small build, then he would be at a great disadvantage. Akira then twirled Tensei as he wondered which of the many ways he could deal with the rest of Sena's partners.

Let's see what elements are hampered......Doton is way beneath this frozen surface....Suiton is useless too.....Raiton and Fuuton shouldn't be affected. Katon might be useful....Haha, you will perish beneath this dark cloudy sky.

Akira's Yomi Kaen was, while outside of the 5 Elements cycle, was mostly similiar to Katon, which wasn't one of the weaker elements in this weather. He smiled as he realized that chances of his opponent having a elemental advantage was low. His eye turned scarlet as he observed Kazuki rush in at Sakyuu to try to help his partner. Akira would have to deal with both Kazuki and Wrath. Akira also noted the strange looking lance that Kazuki was using to attack. Akira moved and hid within the chaos while throwing 3 needles at Kazuki. One aimed for a vital point on his right elbow, which seemed to be the arm he used to carry his lance. The other two were aimed at his neck and his left knee joint. Akira then threw another kunai with explosion tag at Kazuki and then immediately cast an illusion on him.

The unsuspecting bird has its wings be taken away.....

Akira sent forth an more realistic illusion, to make sure that Kazuki wouldn't even know that this was an illusion. This illusion would focus on disrupting what he 'saw' as reality. He made it so that Sakyuu would seem to jump away, whereas in reality, Sakyuu would just dash past him at full speed, as Akira had ordered. Then he made it so that his needles and explosion tag weren't visible to Kazuki. Akira wondered what kind of feeling he would have when he was pierced by three needles and wouldn't realize that an explosion tag was coming at him. The needles would reach Kazuki first, then two seconds later, the tag would explode. Akira kept his eye on the other partner just in case he decided to come in.

You seem to be a close-range fighter.....that's why you are to suffer ignorantly of how I just attacked you.

As Zen layed there Garnet looked at him and noticed he must of been knocked out so Garnet walked up to him slowly. As Garnet got right up to him another blizzard was coming and with that coming Zen would have no way to survive so he had to get him somewhere safe.

Garnet put Zen on his Right shoulder and started to walk fast towards where the others where. When he got about 20 meters away he could just see about 4 other figures. Rikatu, Takeshi, Bakuto and Kinato whom where all still fighting. Garnet then thought he had to try and get Zen awake so he covered Zens body with water as it started to relax his body. After about 3 minutes he was starting to twitch.

" Zen? Are you ok man, we both took a nasty toll dont try to move to much just yet you still might have wounds and stuff.

Zen then moved away the water back into his body and then tried to get Zen to stand on his feet. And Zen could stand with ease.

" Ahh thats good dude. Now we cannot fight we dont wanna risk more injuries this all feels so...different. But we will let the others fight for now.

And as Garnet turned back to see where the others were a massive blizzard was crossing over them so Garnet could not seen anything and it would even make it hard for the 4 shinobi in there to fight.

Zen stood with shame after his defeat. No matter, he knew there was no certainty in winning or defeat. Zen nodded to what Garnet was saying though the fatigue was causing Zen to not clearly understand. Zen had began to walk in the cold winds aimlessly. Zen began to walk to the others that had been fighting. Zen was tired but, the rest rejuvenated some of his chakra. Zen put his headset on the signal the rest of the team had on. The wind made it impossible for Zen to talk clearly through the headset so, he made a miniture Earth Wall to stop the wind.

"I'm going back to the cave to tend to my injuries, hehe apparently I lost."

Zen chuckled than walked off again. Zen had remembered where the cave was, and began to slowly move his body there. Zen was not in pain, the cold probably numbed him. Zen than realized that he had lost his spear. Zen could careless, about his spear since, he himself was still searching for the weapon perfect for his fighting style.

Eh, least i get to try some new stuff.

Zen arrived at the cave wall and took out his scroll which stored spare clothing. Zen had ripped his spare clothing to use as bandages for his cuts. After Zen had patched himself up he layed his head against the cave wall and slept.
