Sena moved away from the hull of the ship, moving closer to the door and the moment Kei opened the door, and the water began to flood in Sena closed off the way behind him, chakra flowing off his palm and blocking off the water while Sena moved to the door, closing it and using all his strength, the water covering his ankles now. He ignored the cold, burning feeling, he had a mission and he was gonna fulfill it. From his feet chakra surrounded and curved, becoming solid an allowing Sena to float along the top of it as he held the door closed with more chakra, extending from his other hand.

"Until Kei get's back no one gets passed this.......all of you just try to stay as warm as possible. I'll hold back the water.........just survive"

From the former nervousness, Sena became the most confident, struck with the challenge of keeping everyone from freezing. When Sena was faced with a mission he would do anything he could to fulfill it, no matter the cost.

I'll prove that I'm not worthless

"You're not doing that alone, Sena-kun."

Taiteki slipped passed Sena, running to the door. Taking a small leap, the second his feet hit the floor, his plams slammed against the door, shutting it completely. The door would not budge now; Taiteki would not let it. Turning his head slightly, he looked at Sena.

"You've got a fancy Kekkai Genkai, Sena-kun..."

The weight in his arms suddenly increased threefold as Taiteki took a deep rooted stance and held the door shut. A pang of guilt flooded his body as he realized this was only making it harder for Kei in reality. The more pressure he put against the door, the more the water would build up, keeping Kei trapped with a heavy pressure from the tightly-packed up water. He kept a strong forcing push, making sure not to push too hard so that the door would not break from the pressure. Taiteki's bloodline was rather complicated and its name fit it perfectly; fate. The usage of the Matsuro Kekkai Genkai could either produce a fortune fate or seal everyone's fate in doom.

"... but mine is fancier..."

Hang on, Kei. Just keep pushing through... we've got your back.

"Support Sena-kun in any way possible, either by holding him in place so he doesn't lose balance or by leaving and trying to blockade the rushing water that's flowing downstairs! Go!"

The water coming from the cracks in the door were less now that Taiteki was aiding Sena in the process of holding the water back, but the pressure was getting harder and harder to maintain. His endurance could only last so long before even he couldn't support the weight of his heavy arms.

The man at the helm steadied the course so that they would head right for the land mass directly ahead, or at least everyone on deck was praying it was a landmass. Kin turned toward the helmsman and shouted.

"can't you get this thing to go any faster!?"

--"not really!!!"

Kin then turned toward the stairs that led downstairs to the lower decks, and grit his teeth. He had seen Taiteki and Kei head to the lower levels to deal with the problems, while he had gone up deck to warn everyone else. Now all he could do was pray.

what's going on down there, the water is gonna be freezing. They could die if they aren't careful...

I LOVE TO SUCK THOSE TINY ICICLES!
"Kuso!!"

It was as Kei had thought, there were several decks above the one that the shinobi had taken refuge in. Easily five decks and these were now all entirely flooded, there seemed to be pockets, but there would be removed as the ship swayed back and forth. Kei pushed up the stairs, he had to stop more and more now as he was being drained. It was like constantly being attacked from every angle and having to defend yourself so you took no damage was incredibly taxing. He lifted his foot up and tried to push open another hatch, but it was metallic and had been frozen shut. Kei cursed under his breath and closed his eyes for a moment. It was then that he gathered some energy in his palm and using the new form of Cero. Kei formed the Cero on his five digits and shot them at angle through the floor and the next deck's wall. The Cero pierced through the wood, but Kei was soon met with the stark realisation. He was still too far below the water line. "Kuso!!" Kei pushed himself up against the hatch and felt the energy on his body scream out. He continued to push up and the sound of hissing could be heard and Kei saw silver flecks fall into the water. Steam rising up violently, he continued to push himself up though.

Kei pushed up once more and he found himself launched through the air. He landed hard on the soaked floor and he opened his eyes and saw that he was on the top deck. The water level was ridiculously high and it was licking up against the side of the ship. He had been right though, they were still far too low for the initial plan to have worked. ...Tai...You will have a minute or so to collect the shinobi and pull them up as close to that door as possible...Then the ship will begin to take on water quicker and the water will drain from the other decks downwards...You will have to move up the ship quicker than you imagine you could move...If not then you are not going to make it...You know what a Cero is like Tai, you have heard it so many times...I know that it is going to be difficult, but you have to get these shinobi to do what you say...

Kei brought a hand in front of the other and holding his wrist he began to gather energy. He let the shield around his body deplete and he sighed from relief. The energy though was used straight away to empower his next action. He pointed his hand down at the hole he had made and closed his eyes. The Cero would not only have to be hot enough to evaporate the water, it would have to be strong enough to either pierce through or disintegrate the wood in the way. The light building around his hand increased until it could go no further. He opened his eyes, flaring a beautiful white colour. He released the Cero and it slammed down into the water, hissing could be heard and the sound of a crack and then water draining down and hitting the hard wood below. Kei stood up, dizzily he spun round and saw Kuro. He refused to all though, taking a wide base he remained standing he would have to in the presence of Kuro.

...Don't screw this up...

Oh, you saucy temptress...
Taiteki continued to hold the door shut as he slowly reduced the weight on his arms, trying to conserve as much chakra as possible to keep this arduous task up. Suddenly, his eyes opened wide in shock. Few would know the sound of a Cero. Taiteki caught it in a second. The blast shot from Kei's palm as a brilliant white blast of pure energy surged out and created a massive hole. It had begun.

Kuso... well I guess that's the signal... he's flooding the bottom of the ship... I guess that means I have to guide every bloody soul on this ship to the top in about... ehh... one minute? Easy enough... bastard...

Taiteki suddenly pulled a 180 as he shot passed Sena, Nickel, and the rest. Stopping at the bottom of the ship where every other shinobi was waiting anxiously, Taiteki yelled out.

"The ENTIRE lower deck is going to be FLOODED in about ONE MINUTE!!! If you value your lives, you will FOLLOW ME to the UPPER DECKS, right NOW!!! Get a move on!!"

That was the most serious Taiteki had sounded all day. Everyone would die right now if they didn't follow Taiteki upstairs now. Turning around again, he could hear the stampede of people behind him.

Good, here they come.

Seeing Sena and Nickel ahead, he yelled at them to move forward.

"Go! Upstairs and through the doors! We need to get to high ground!!! We may... may have to jump off. Let's hope we're near land!"

Slamming the door open, he could see the water rushing down all in one direction. He fought his way through the current, running higher and higher upstairs.

Nicely done, Kei.

Hmmm....

Saiyuki glanced up from his thoughts. It seemed Nevets had come on this mission, too. He didn't seem to change much in appearance, though the air he was putting on certainly seemed different. Saiyuki simply nodded at him. Nevets had disappeared a while back, as Saiyuki had, but there was no visible change. His chakra certainly felt different, but Saiyuki wasn't interested. What he was interested in was the icicles that were forming on the ceiling. There must have been cracks all along and the water was flowing through. He brushed away a falling icicle as he felt commotion and a gathering of chakra outside. Saiyuki heard something blast out but didn't know what. He assumed the worst and awakened Shinrabanshou. He wondered what was happening outside.

"Nevets, something's happening...!"

Suddenly he heard a person scream out. Saiyuki didn't like the sound of those words. After opening the door, he soon saw that person going against a current. Saiyuki was surprised and then used Keisei no Ryuushi to avoid being washed away in the freezing water. As to what happened to Nevets, Saiyuki couldn't tell what was happening over the rush of water. A barrier came up around him and the water simply went past him. Saiyuki and Nevets had to get up to the top deck. However, since the water was flooding into the room, he couldn't see Nevets. He would have to get out of it himself. Saiyuki was curious in how he would protect himself. Ink would be nothing compared to the water around them now. Saiyuki made tiny blocks in the air where he could stand and kept jumping and making new ones as he got out and started moving towards the top deck, seemingly running on air. Saiyuki noticed Kuro on the top deck and headed towards there.

Sorry, Nevets....but if you can't take care of yourself, don't even bother going along on this mission. As to what in the world happened, I'll have to talk to that guy over there.

"Hey, what just happened?"

“You heard the man people. Let’s get a move on!”

Kazuki ran upstairs, just as Tai was about to do also. The water level was rising quickly and Kazuki’s ankles were already in the water. He soon got to higher ground however and saw most of the rest of the ship. However, the water had not subsided just yet. They would probably need to make a run for it soon. Kazuki turned around to speak to Tai.

“We should check downstairs for anyone who might not have made it. I know we don’t have much time, but lives are worth saving, right?”

Kazuki smiled as he spoke. He realised that if anyone was trapped downstairs they would probably already be dead but lives were lives and Kazuki couldn’t bear the fact of anyone died. Kazuki looked at Tai who seemed to be quite the good leader.

“So what do you say Tai-kun?”

Hakumei was slowly heating the bottles over a small burner whilst watching Kei head off into the submerged world above. He wondered if anyone else remembered that upon reaching the surface they would have to battle the forces of Oto and Suna. It was turning out to be a desperate evening indeed. Hakumei picked up a dirty rag and used it to take the top off the champagne bottle he had thawed, it popped out but there were no bubbles or ametuer cork hitting the ceiling. He poured a glass and raised it slightly. "To Kei, good luck to him." Hakumei was too young to drink so threw the glass in the floor and picked up the second bottle. He placed the dirty rag into it to soak it and then let the wet rag hang out of the end.

He wasn't going to let everyone come up with plans and not help out. He waited sitting on the steps leading downwards and then when Tai had announced it was time to move Hakumei threw the bottle at the patched up door that Rikatu iced over earlier. The room beyond was dark and water was puddled on the floor.

That will buy us about thirty more seconds, if we're lucky enough. Plus it looked really cool.

With that job done Hakumei turned and with speed befitting a man running for his life headed up the stairs. he was behind Tai and another. He looked at his feet, Hakumei had choosen to wear thick boots covered in white animal fur. Water washed over the boots and he was glad that they were water proof. However even through the boot and socks underneath the cold bit into his feet. Hakumei pushed on up the cold stairs. The person immediatly ahead of him said they should look for others. "No-one downstairs except for those in that room...Kuro is with captain. Not sure where." Hakumei kept moving through the stairs as the water rushed downwards. He took a turn onto another flight as they reached the next deck up. Somewhere in the distance a door creaked and then cracked and the flood heading down the stairs worsened. It was now reaching up to about shin level and rising.

Kuso...Walking up these steps is starting to drain all the energy in me. Kei you must have a powerful kekkei genkai.

It's called Ice For Life baby!
Rikatu kept trying to move water off the ship, but was getting very tired. He was getting really annoyed, he moved water quicker. After about 15 seconds, he ran up running past two other ninja to the highest deck and saw land in the distance.

"Land Ho!"

Rikatu smiled as he an to the edge of the ship and looked down off the bow. The ship was sinking. Everyone would have to jump off and swim. Rikatu knew he would survive, but the others would need help.Rikatu was thinking as looking at the land coming ever so close. he could freeze the water making a path, but it wouldn't hold for very long.

"Hey, those who can swim in this water and live, do it. anyone who can't, fallow me when we need to abandon ship, Ill make a path of ice, run on it, it wont hold are wait forever..."

Rikatu's chance was coming soon, but he needed to get closer to land, it was still a little to far away...

The moment Taiteki spoke, telling everyone to run Sena released the hold of chakra and water began to pour in faster. The climbed quickly, the group of shinobi, Sena was at the back of the group, water constantly around his ankles. He winced at the burning sensation that slowly made it's way up his legs before he burst forward ahead of everyone, slamming down a door and sliding to a stop. But when Kazuki spoke of saving lives something in Sena's mind clicked and he pushed past everyone, the water level constantly rising.

"I've got it......."

Sena jumped, slowly submerging in the water as he moved through the various floors, his body burning. He tried ignoring the pain as he made it down to the last floor, moving to the top and taking a deep breath between the water and the ceiling. There one chuunin, a woman lay trapped, passed out on the floor. Sena dove down, grabbing the womans wrist and pulling her forward as he swam. He rose her up to the air pocket but she didn't wake. He dove back in, heading through the many doorways until he reached the top once again, he slowly stepped out, placing the girls body down as he shivered, almost having a seisure, his skin near purple. His eyes bloodshot, his lips purple and the vains clearly showing in his face. He shivered to the point of near exhaustion as he leaned against the edge of the ship, removing the jacket, and sweaters that had already frozen. He stood in a mere t-shirt and pants, shivering incredibly as chakra slowly surrounded his body and he concentrated, focusing on warming himself up.
