Nevets roamed the boat some more, ignoring the cold and iignoring the rocking of the ship. He looked up as the black trench coat given to him as a gift during his training around the world hugged his body and kept him warm...well warmer than someone without a good coat. "Wow...I've never been so bored in my entire life..." He complained lowly before hearing some commotion being started as Nevets came up beside Saiyuki and turneed to the man. "What's going on here?" He asked. Nevets looked down at Sayuiki and pulled up a chair to sit beside him. "Hm?" |

"You decided to not pay attention to what I said...Interesting argument when I said I had nothing wrong with the amount of people you killed. If you have to kill, you have to kill, my qualms were with the attitude you took to killing them. They may have been scum yes, but theirs was a life also, a family, friends and whatnot. The least you could have done was show some respect or if you could muster it some remorse..." Kei shifted in his seat and left the table, hearing Taiteki's remark made him return to his first question. 'What is this captain doing?' Leaving the table he discharged the chakra in his hand and shocked a Konoha shinobi. Luckily he hadn't seen it was Kei, so he was safe for now. He inquired with several shinobi on-board the ship but neither did they seem to know what was going on. The icicles seemed to be forming more and more rapidly which could mean only one thing. Not that they had got into colder territory, it meant that there was more water top deck. However it seemed like the entire ceiling was covered in these chandelier like icicles. Kei walked over to the main door that led to the top deck. He knocked upon the door and there was an odd sound and the wood felt very saturated. "What the..." Kei looked to the bottom of the door and saw water oozing out of the crack. However it froze quickly, but as Kei looked around the general area he could see water building up. "...Not good..." |

With the bloodpacket drained Nickel realised quickly that hewould have to gain the trust of the remaining ninja on the boat, and the icicles looming on the ceiling were a problem enough. "The deck....its been flooded with water...not good at all" Nickel then got up and walked over to the staircase that led to the door in which kei was looking at. "Please....you may not like me but for a fellow kumogakure shinobis sake please move so I can get topside and fix the problems outisde....my blood is the only thing thats going to keep me alive up there and I doubt anyone else can last up there as long as I can which wont be long anyway" The situation was bad. The door itself had been water logged and with the constant freezing of water into the crcks of the wood the spaces in beteen were only going to get wider as the water expanded in the cracks. Nickel decided now was a good time to ask for help and make it seem as if he ctually gave half a shit about the peopl on the boat "Okay so we have a rather difficult sitation topside.....anyone have any good ideas on how we can get the water off the deck?" |

Oh, you saucy temptress...

"Why don't we just fire off a Cero..." Taiteki came up, standing behind the group. He did not want to stay in that room another minute, even though it was probably the warmest room in the entire ship. Taiteki walked up to Kei, standing side by side with him. He looked at the two of them; Nickel and Kei, before speaking again, "It would be rather reckless, but I bet Kei could create a more concentrated blast. If he can create an opening from some direction, the water within that room can spill out from the back and descend back into the ocean." Taiteki looked to the two of them, awaiting a response. While he waited, another thought came to mind. "Or we could use heat to evaporate the water? It'd have to be extreme heat... again with the need for a strong Katon user... or Kei's Kekkai Genkai..." |

Otogakure's White Fang
|
Sena had sat quietly for the last little while, listening to everyone's conversations. The air was gradually becoming thicker and the icicles were causing a continuous build up of water, spreading and slowly ripping the ship apart. When Kei and Taiteki went to fix the problem Sena showed up about a minute later, a plan already moving through his mind. "I have an idea and I'm sure it will work..............but you just have to listen to exactly what I say." Sena waited for a moment before taking a deep breath, and focusing chakra onto the end of his hand, the chakra flowed out and flew around, a small string attached to his finger as it formed into many different shapes. "Kei I saw what you call a Cero before................if you could make a hole in the ship, particularly in a place where the floor and wall meet so that all the water will flow to that one place. I can hold back the excess pressure with my chakra, I'll make a simple air pocket in the water and the excess water in the ship will drain, after most of the water is gone I'll seal up the hole, and hold it with more chakra. If we could do it as soon as possible............." Sena moved over to a place away from most people. He placed his hands directly against the hull of the ship and pushed outwards with sheer mental power, the chakra flowing through the hull and pushing the water back till there was a circle, big enough to hold the water on the ship. Beads of sweat dropped from Sena's forehead as the pressure continued to press against the extension of his body. |

It's called Ice For Life baby!

Rikatu walked onto the deck and saw all the water. He walked throe it and finally found something to do. He walked close to the edge and stopped at the corner of the ship. Rikatu extended his arms, one pointed out into the sea, and one in the water. He concentrated on the water and moved it behind his head, and out back into the sea. Rikatu felt the cool water move past his arms and past his head, the water was nice and cool. he didn't feel cold like everyone else did... Ah... so refreshing. Rikatu stopped bought 30 seconds later, he noticed another ninja focusing his chakra. then the water moved into a big circle. Rikatu raised an eyebrow to this guy, this was pretty cool. He stood up and jogged toward him. "Hey, allow me to help..." Rikatu focused on the water in the circle as well, he could almost feel the other ninjas chakra flowing in the water. he brought the water into a smaller circle, making it more consintrated. with the other ninja's help of coarse... "Ok, now what..." |

I'm steaming
|
Allow me to sit here and be amused by whats going on. Hakumei listened to the suggestions everyone seemed to agree that a cero blast would be the best bet. Though Rikatu was more inclined to freeze the water. Hakumei jumped up and grabbed a large icicle from the ceiling. What was worse was that water kept coming over the sides. He licked the icicle as he thought what he could do. His steam wouldn't be a hot enough source to evapourate the water...Was he really that stupid. "I could turn the water into steam but I think the cero is more fun, it carries the most risk. Other using katon to set fire to the ship." It's odd. Everyone before was a bit annoyed by Kei and his antics. Yet now every plan seems to be revolving around his abilities. I expect he is a stronger nin than Kuro gives him credit for. This is however becoming slightly more dull by the second. Hakumei went over to the bar area down here. Recently all it had been selling was soup because of the waves causing bottles to smash, even the soup had gone now, well onto the floor atleast. There were no staff manning the bar since when Kei had used the cero most of them had worked out the best way to survive the fight, get in the life boat and go somewhere nice and warm. Hakumei Jumped the counter and the stuck a needle in the lock which was keeping the secure metal barrier over the bottles and rest of the bar. It was a weak lock and the force of the needle broke it quickly. Hakumei grunted as he shunted the metal thing upwards where it clicked into a secure holding. He watched it for a bit incase it fell on his hand then shrugged and grabbed two of the nearest bottles. This is more like a cruise, drinking, no soup. It's a shame that all the contents in the bottles have frozen though. I wonder if the fridge is warmer than the rest of this ship. |

shit, the temperature is too extreme for the ship, I hoped this wouldn't happen!! Kin dashed out of the cabin and leapt onto the crows nest dashing all the way to the top, as he pulled his way into the stabing area, Anbou's head appeared at his shoulder, and he activated his gold eyes to better his sight. we need to land this hunk of wood before we all end up in an icy grave! Kin used his enhanced field of vision, as his "eyes" darted around in all directions, constantly looking for a landmass of sorts to land on. He smirked and then leapt out of the crows enxt, and dashed for the helms-man. Steering the ship was a young man, maybe only a year or so younger than Kin himself. "theres a landmass due north of our position, you have to get us there NOW!" --"I don't take orders from you Kuro-san." "I don't give a shit!" --"Kuro, don't step out of line again!!" "YOU LISTEN TO ME!!" Kin shotued as he grabbed the man by the collar. "IF YOU DON'T GET US THERE ASAP, WE'RE ALL GONNA BE IN THE FREEZER ISLE, AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN!!!" --"y-yesir, I'll increase speed to full!!" |

...This would be good enough, but we do not know how the status top deck is...We are very low down in the ship, as it was the warmest part, out of the wind. For all we know the entire ship above us could be submerged and blowing the hole in the ship could just introduce even more water into the ship...What we need to do was to investigate higher up and see what it is like up top... "No...Sena can you protect the group with your Kekkai Genkai whilst I open the door...Then you will have to slam shut the door as I move through it, I will be able to open it by unfreezing it, but it will be too heavy for me to close it...If what I think has happened, we may get to use Cero before the day is out, but it may be substantially larger...Ready Sena?" Kei closed his eyes and searched for the chakra in his body and began to produce greater amounts of energy. He allowed it to work faster and faster churning up the chakra and he could feel his body heating up. He released the pent up energy and it flowed over his body, water evaporating and the energy formed around his body. A white like cloak being formed over his body, hooded it wasn't possible to see his face properly. The cloak this time though, writhed and clung closer to his skin. He stepped forwards and nodded to Sena once again. "If any of you have abilities to make this easier then do not hesitate to use them...If I could ask you to do one thing? Please move all the tables and such towards the...back of this hall, but leave about a two to three foot hole..." Kei walked towards the door and the energy over his body that was going to act as his only defence vibrated wildly. He placed his hand on the door and closed his eyes, the energy was seeping out of him and into the door. He could hear it bowing from the pressure and then a snap could be heard and the ice holding the door shut melted and the door swung forward. Kei expelled a lot of his energy and the temperatures it reached was ridiculous. Reaching temperatures where the water that came out was evaporated instantly, Kei moved forwards through the doorway. He didn't check back to see if it was shut, he had to concentrate completely on the task at hand. As he stepped up to the next deck he saw most of it flooded with water. About three quarters of it was sloshing with the freezing water, but as he searched the water continued to increase. The water was careering down the next set of stairs and it seemed he would have to search another deck up. "Kuso...This water is so cold even through this...I cannot do this for much longer..." |

The Blood Saint

OOC: Sorry I haven't been able to post, I'll be much more active now that I don't have to constantly study.... IC: Takeshi awoke from a nap he had decided to take against the wall in the ship's lower deck, he was on a ship housing ninja from both Konoha and Kumo. The commotion over some sort of quarrel woke him, he had hoped to sleep until they reached their destination, but that seemed no longer possible. He knew a very select few of the ninja who were on the ship so mingling wasn't really one of his plans. From what he could tell from hearing the others talk was that the upper deck of the ship has been flooded and they were trying to find a way to not get frozen by the extreme cold. He approached the group of ninja that had gathered in this particular spot, he did not say anything , he just waited. I wonder, where exactly we're going, and how long till we get there. This cold is beginning to get to me, I assume they are all in the same state, cold and wanting to get off of this boat as soon as possible. It's not as if any of us want to be slammed with frigid waters, so now I guess I'll take it as a time to watch.... "Hey guys, if you have any use for me just say the word, I'll just be over here. I just woke up so my brain isn't exactly ready to start making plans, but if you have plans, feel free to include me..." Takeshi took the chair from the wall he had been sleeping in and brought it closer to the group where he sat and observed. If any of them had heard him , they sure didn't seem like they cared. He wasn't exactly in a rush to consume his chakra in case he needed it for something else but he assumed survival was more important at this stage of the game and was ready if anyone needed him. It's kind of selfish to want to not be called upon, however I must help my fellow shinobi, so that notion is out of my head now...only time will tell about what will occur next... |
