As the water was heading the boat Garnets eyes were closed thinking about how awesome it would be to be a fish living in the water all the time. He opened hes eyes and looked down at the ship from the trimming of the ship. He had a little smile on him and jumped off the trim of the ship

Ahh the nice smooth and calming ocean nothing better then this. To think of it ive never been on a ship before. The closest thing ive gotten to this would be when i was running across a lake. Hmm i better go check the other people on the ship.

As Garnet was walking on the main deck of the ship he noticed there was a fair few other Shinobi he remembered Hakumei but he also saw some Kumo shinobis and never really seen them before and was wondering why they were also on the ship. Then he noticed a Blonde Kumo shinobi that was trying to open a door so Garnet proceeded towards him and as he got behind him he tapped on hes should and he turned around.

" Umm hey my name is Garnet im from Konoha, is there anything i can help you with like trying to help you with this door? and why do you need it open?"

Then Garnet takes 2 steps back just in case the young Kumo shinobi wasnt to fond of Konoha's Shinobis and didnt do a suprise attack on him. Which Garnet was really not ready for a battle on hes such a great day being on a ship.

Kei had turned and heard Nickel's outburst and his declaration of him being their general. He wanted everyone to broadcast their views on this and Kei was more than willing to help in this fact.

"You may believe to be the General...The one that commands those and do your bidding, but believe me Tenshi...I am not going to follow one like you. You are loud, you are arrogant, evidently not entirely the most intelligence individual here...You rise above all those on the ship, announce your leadership of us all and admit that you are not one of us...That my friend is not the most preferable way in trying to gain good favour from your fellow comrades...You speak of past altercations and battles you have been apart of, but do we see any proof of this any evidence of such things...I could just as easily stand up here and proclaim such things and they would hold as much validity as your own statements...I have made my judgement of you and I already have decided how I am going to behave around you and treat you...I am not going to fight under you, I hold my trust in those I have fought with before and as far as I am concerned Nickel Tenshi...If I have to fight alongside you, let alone be commanded by you...My pride and dignity as a Shinobi would be shattered..."

Kei turned away from Nickel and at this time he felt someone tapping him and heard a shinobi ask him if he needed any help. Kei turned around and looked at the Konoha shinobi. Kei looked at the shinobi in front of him and it was fairly obvious that he was not a Taijutsu expert. Nor did he seem to hold any sort of Genjutsu speciality as they were often very distinctive individuals or had a specific item which singled them out. Kei hadn't replied in five seconds now, but continued his inspection of the shinobi in front of him. He was most likely some sort of Ninjutsu specialist. "I am trying to open this door to the top deck, but there seems to be something stopping it...There are icicles forming around the door, which leads me to worry that maybe...It's nothing...Hello I am Omoi Kei...You are?"

After no responce Nevets started to walk away in search of something else to do or someone else to talk to. He wondered how Hero was. would he be here? Nevets found a bar in the middle and simply ordered a scotch, he never knew that the liquor was so much better than Saki. He drank from the glass slowly as the ice cubes clicked around inside. Nevets walked around, he wanted to test his mettle and this would be perfect, but the plans were so vague...what was going down?

"Hmm...where is Hero?"

He asked to no one in particular. Wind blew and it was rather cold as the boat continued to rock. In the year that Nevets grew and learned he had spent much time on boats and he knew how to navigate and what way to move in order to not get sick on deck.

"Hero?"

Nevets asked, from behind the man looked like his old master but it wasn't, just some crew member.

"Oh sorry,"

He said, continuing his search.

Sena heard Taiteki speak and tried to utter a reply. It came out as a sort of strangled stutter, Sena uttering but a few words.

"First.......................terrifying...........weakness......."

Sena went back to sipping his soup, embarrassed by his clear weakness. Sena finished his soup and placed the bowl beside him, before taking a deep breath of the freezing air. He rubbed his hands together a little and then stood up, stretching his legs.

"I'm sorry........this is just my first mission..........."

Sena let done a little bow before Taiteki, a very stiff respectable bow.

"I'm sorry I inconvienced you......."

Sena slowly rose from his bow, smiling at Taiteki. He reached out his hand for Taiteki to shoot.

"Kobayakawa Sena of Konohagakure No Sato...........pleased to meet you"

Kazuki heard the speech that Nickel had just completed. To be honest, Kazuki didn’t care that someone was on the brink of death. Unless it was someone important to him he wouldn’t lift a finger to help them. Having just finished a mission which consisted of Kazuki saving a village, Kazuki did have to question why it was that way. Maybe it was just because it was a mission. That was what made it important to him. Kazuki sighed and sat down, looking around at the people on the ship. They all seemed to friendly and happy for they’re own good.

Kazuki spied one shinobi who seemed to stand out. He was wearing a cracked bone helmet, or something to that effect. He didn’t look as shocked as the others at the news of this Tenshi Hissori’s closeness to death. Kazuki got up from his comfortable seat, heading closer to the young boy, thinking of what to say to him. Kazuki approached him successfully.

“Hi there. I know it seems a bit silly of me to ask this but would you talk to me? I’m feeling a bit lonely on this ship…heh heh…”

Kazuki rubbed his hand against his hair as he smiled at Tai. Kazuki guessed that Tai would think of him as some strange nut job shinobi. It didn’t matter much though, he was just interested in this guy. He looked around for a table to sit at and noticed one right next to them. He sat down, looking around the ship once again.

“My name is Mutou Kazuki by the way, Kumo shinobi extraordinaire. The Kumo bits added in, heh heh…”

Kazuki usually didn’t try to make this many jokes. He stuck to only one joke at a time or no jokes at all. Something about the atmosphere of this whole mission was getting to him though. He didn’t like the fact that the Raikage had told them nothing of the mission, excepting that they were supposed to catch a boat to some unique place. Kazuki crossed his arms in thought before realising that he was supposed to be conversing with Tai. His hand shifted through his brown hair.

I don’t like this…one bit. But having someone to talk to will at least keep me occupied for a while…

Taiteki stood up, giving a martial arts bow to Sena as well before shaking his hand. Sena was extremely tense and needed something to lighten the mood. Taiteki really could not fathom why Konoha's Hokage would send a genin, fresh out of the academy, to a potentially S ranked mission. It was a huge battle platoon and he would easily be picked out and killed if he showed weakness. Maybe Sena held unique traits that other people could not match. Maybe Sena had not unleashed his full potential. Whatever it was, Sena had to stay confident and weary of everything around him if he wanted to survive. Taiteki would be just the person to help him out.

"That's alright, Kobayakawa Sena. You'll be just fine. Just stick with me. I'm a genin as well, but I sure as hell won't die here. What can you do? Maybe we can build on each other's strengths."

The voice of another shinobi caught his attention as he turned to his left, looking at a black haired, brown eyed shinobi who introduced himself as Mutou Kazuki. This one also seemed nervous and needed a way to relieve tension.

"Nice to meet you, Mutou Kazuki. I'm Matsuro Taiteki of the Matsuro Clan in Kumogakure no Sato."

Sitting down again, he took a sip from a dirty glass, drinking up the water within. He was not one to drink. Not at this age at least. He was but a thirteen year old genin. He could hear Kei's voice booming in the background, questioning the authority of their general. Taiteki chuckled a bit, then turning to Kuro. The Kumo nin had not spoken for a long while.

"How've you been, Kuro-san? Anything new going on?"

OOC: oh, sry i haven't posted yet...

IC:
Rikatu walked out from underneath the ship. he had been trying to patch holes and such in the ships bottom, it wasn't an easy job... Rikatu poked his head out and saw the waves crashing onto the ship, and people running scared. He looked around and saw a few other ninja. Hakumei was there, but that was anyone he knew so far...

All right, so what can i do...

Rikatu turned to see the captain yelling orders and giving what looked like a lecture. he slowly went below deck again and felt the waves hit the ship from underneath. He looked around and saw a huge gash in the side of the ship on the starboard side. He went over and started to patch it up with ice and wood very slowly, this was a big gash...

"HEY, I need some help, Anyone?"

Rikatu kept at the gash and waited for help to arrive...

Kin lowered the scarf on his face face just a little bit and sipped some of the soup in his small bowl then replied to Taiteki. He had only met Taiteki once, but he had taken a liking to him, where as the others on the mission gave him the unconditional cold shoulder, Taiteki seemed to have an up-beat mood regardless of anything Kin said or did. He noticed Kei near the Tenshi kid, trying to raise his major ego to amtch that of Nickel's. He didn't like Kei much at all, seemed like an absurdly arrogant kid who had absolutely nothing to back up his attitude.

"AND YOUR THE SAME, BAKA!!! SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!!"

Kin yelled out as he hurled his soup bowl into the flinging it over toward Kei's head, he then turned his attention back to the local group.

"man, you guys all look scared shitless. Can't blame you, on the battle field you need to be strong and have someone else who is strong to watch your back. I got both of those covered, right? Tai-san?"

Kin said with a smirk, as he raised his scarf back up to cover his mouth, already snow had worked it's way into the cloth and he grimaced as it stung at his chin hairs. He wasn't used to have a body that was so far ahead of his mental age, he was still making the adjustment.

A Cero erupted from Kei's hand and smashed into the bowl sending small shards of the porcelain everywhere. The feelings Kuro shared for Kei were reciprocated. He didn't trust the new addition to the team and there was something very strange about him. He couldn't shake off the feeling that he knew him from a previous time. Kuro's transmissions during the mission did not lend themselves to Kei appreciating his company. How he treated the killing of the guards, as if it were a game was something Kei could not fathom. As his memories returned to that day he wanted to inform Kuro of just how held in contempt he is in Kei's eyes. "Omoi Kei, Kumogakure shinobi, Zansatsu Kisuke is my sempai..." Kei turned away from Kazuki and walked over towards Taiteki and Kuro. He sat opposite Kuro as he said hello to Taiteki, he smiled towards his fellow Kumo.

"As are you from that little outburst, but you see there is just one question niggling at me here..." Kei looked away from Kuro and very sarcastically began to speak to him. "See I don't know if I was knocked out during the time. However just, how did you come to be here with us Kuro and how as a Genin you clearly do not display the average Genin skills and abilities...They are just a few questions that have been gnawing at me for a while now. It's almost as if you aren't really a Genin...Well if you are lying about that then how do we know you are not lying about other things...Maybe like a true identity"

Sena smiled at Taiteki, relishing in the chance to actually talk to someone. He waited till the one called Kuro finished speaking and then Sena, trying to get a little attention spoke quite loudly.

"I'm a user of chakra manipulation, as well as a master of speed related techniques. What're your strengths Taiteki-san?"

Sena smiled, looking over everyone, his self confidence slowly building. He had the scarf still wrapped around his mouth and nose, slightly muffling the speech. Although a rookie at heart he was an expert in physique, at least his legs. He was still in the process of developing a fighting technique that used his legs and his legs only. A high speed, power related fighting style.

Well at least I can say I made friends, though not like anyone at home will truly care.........whether I die in this mission or live, all that will be known is that I fought valiantly and either won, or lost...........

Sena made his way through the crowd to place the bowl on the counter near the cook. He then made his way back over to Taiteki and Kuro, relishing in their words of encouragement once again.
