NEED MORE METHAMPHEDAMINES!!!!
|
Well, I can be very simple, so I just used my own name for Becky (truth revealed! My name is not actually Bay). Tahanei had been stuck in my mind for some time (I probably heard it somewhere or other), so I just figured, hey! Tahanei! Then, when I was doing her little profile thing, I saw the name of one of the artists from the manga I have (idk which series) and Togashi seemed to fit. As for Bayberry, well, that's simple. Due to my insane addiction to horses, I used the name of the first horse that I had ever ridden without any help. First horse I had ever ridden, first horse I had loped on, etc. People actually call me Bay in real life (cause some people find Becky is boring), so it works out. |

WEll The name seisho has a very simple description, after i got my bloodline from the movie electra [yes the tattoo guy OMG im not oroginal XD] i said my name should have something to do with my character like in some animes, so my bloodline was of animal tattos but tatto i dont think translated so Ikimono Seisho means Animal Scriptures wich sounds pretty cool on both ends of the language barrier |

urnotlikeme: I actually got this name from a song from 50 cent called "You not like me". And so, I decided that this was going to be my AIM sn. However, people looked at my sn weirdly and kept asking me, "So, what is unotlikeme supposed to mean?" So I changed it to urnotlikeme, and I decided that it would be my new sn (btw, this is not my current sn for AIM). And soon, I decided to put urnotlikeme down for most all rp's that I tried out. Ed: All Iron Maiden fans will know this. For the newer members, this was my first character. I didn't move him here because I simply felt that he had no direction. Anyways, If you ever buy an Iron Maiden album, you'll always see a scary, skeletal looking guy there (see Raive's sig). He is the Iron Maiden mascot, and I took my inspiration from him. And a most of the jutsus were all derived from different songs. Keihatsu Nazo (Seijika): My current character's name came from the Eng-Jap translator, and it means the Enlightened Enigma, sort of an oxymoron. As for Seijika, I figured that he should have a passion to become a politician (after taking AP government), and so Seijika translates directly into politician. I never even knew this thread existed.......What was I doing all the way back in Jan? Anyways, Saiyuki is a translation of Journey to the West. It is a famous Chinese tale that somebody had the good idea to turn into a anime/manga. When I was little, i used to watch it. And for my characters, Masayuki was the last name of a pianist/musician in a anime called Nodame Cantabile and I thought it sounded cool. Sai was the name of a extremely strong go player in Hikaru no Go. And Shiro was a foil for Akira's outside personality and Akira is a name that represents intelligence. His real name, Kirin, comes from a mythical beast related to the 4 Gods. Yeah, so many references, but that's it in a nutshell. |

Oh, you saucy temptress...
|
I know for a fact that I posted here before! Where is my post???? Okay, well I'll do it again... >.> lol Saiyuki's waiting for this post. t('.'t) Okay, "Demonicus" can be easily broken down into "DEMON - I - CUSSSSSSSS" lol jk (I hope Shinobi96 sees this) It's a fairly simple reasoning. I just wanted the word "Demon" in my character's name so I started with that base. However, it couldn't just be "Demon". I had to add something, anything, to it. So I just threw in the "-icus" into the end and it sounded fairly decent (at the time. I swear I was not drunk). So I stuck with that name for a while and eventually, I realized how un-japanese it was compared to everyone else (excluding Ed and Vres). Now and then, people would ask me where I got such a strange name (Sachmo, Shinobi, Seisho, Takai, Raive, etc). I wanted to change it, but I thought it'd be strange to change the character's name in the middle of its storyline. However, Raive persuaded me to change it. So I went with "Akuma", which means "Demon" in japanese (go figure). I stuck with that for a short while and all was well till I realized that "Akuma" sounds so very ghey. It works quite fine in "D Gray Man" (a manga), but not for an rp character name. So Raive helped me again (or maybe it was Takai this time) and I changed Dem's name to "Tenma" (which ALSO means "Demon" - surprise!). So yeah, that's my "thrilling" tale of adventure and wonder. |

I'm steaming

How did I never not post in this thread? Well I'll tell the story of all five of my names...yes gather round children this is a long story. The shadow. This name was born from my favourite character in a game called mashed which I played a lot at the time. Basically he was the coolest driver in this weird mucked up game because his car was black and had an ace of spades on it with stuff around it and it seemed cool as did the name. Boxman. Born from my total stupidity. Basically we all called my friend Ironman, before the movie about a year ago, and we decided I was in such an opposite end I had gone full circle but a level down from Ironman. Plus I'm a dirty cheap B*gger who doesn't mind sleeping on the streets so must live like a tramp in a box. (This story makes me sad for some reason, must be happy memories) Buraindomaru Musouka. For those that don't know this was my blind character, I used him a bit on this sight but then killed him off since he wasn't that great. (Well maybe being blind doesn't make him an awsome ninja). The name translate's to blind man's ambitions and his nickname is Musou wich also translates to ambition and peerless which were both cool. Oonami Hakumei. The name means surge of twilight which sounds pretty cool and thus was a name that stuck. I found the name because I was playing Zelda twilight princess a lot at the time and wanted to envolve that sort of idea in at least one part of my character. (Spolier of the future maybe???) Rokujouki Sakyuu. My time user, the whole character idea is unoriginal since the basis of the character and the clan history and abilities are taken from some Discworld books, mainly 'Theif of Time'. The name stands for "69 sand dunes" The idea was to involve the 69 tattoo on my characters face in the name and maybe you will see the reason for sand-dunes in the future. |

Q decided to post here while waiting on approval/rejection or whatnot. 'Agent' was taken from The Matrix, no more, no less. 'Q' came from James Bond. They were first put together in a moment of sheer random and EPIC...While I was half asleep... 'Keifer' was a randomly generated name while I was playing Disgaea..It stuck. |

Does the Walker choose the Path, or the Path the Walker?
|
Since I haven't posted here yet, I decided it would be good to. Well, Sparklingdude101 started from one of my friend's emails that was smarteepants101. Sparkling just kinda popped into my head, dude because I'm a dude, and 101 from my friend's email. And the reason I tell some people to call me Sparky is because when I was DMO(Dungeon Masters Online-YuGiOh game)I went by Sparklingdude101 and a guy called me Sparky for short and it stuck. When I was coming up with my character name, I was on an English-Japanese translation website. I wanted to the names(first and last)to go some what with the character's past. So I came up with simple intelligence. Assarishita=Simple & Eigo=Intelligence or Intelligent(and I figured out when I was looking at Japanese baby names one day(after I looked up Eigo)that Eigo is an actual boy's name, it's kinda cool!) |

The wind is everywhere...... get your mind out of the gutter you perverts!
|
Well i got pk1134 from me starting to play neopets when i was nine or ten. When i did i wanted to use my initials so that i could remember it easy. So pk came from that and the 1134 cam from when i was pissed at the site for not letting me use any other string of numbers it was supposed to be 11234 but i accidentally left out the two and i liked it. And for mephistus i was thinking of diablo's Me[histo lord of hatred and changed it a little because i didn't like mephisto. Then for crowe i was thinking black wings, bad luck, crows but crow wouldn't be the same. So there is the story of my name. |
