I LOVE TO SUCK THOSE TINY ICICLES!
Kei stepped backwards slightly and he felt the hard rocks of the cave wall digging into his back. He flinched as a rock dug into his back and he knew he would be alright now, he ran a hand over the rocks searching for some kind of edge that he would be able to wrap his fingers around. The Taiteki clone was advancing closer towards him and he seemed like he was trapped without a hope. To Kei’s right was a large boulder that prevented any further movement. To his left was the rest of the cave, but he would be easily picked off. His attention wasn’t focused on the Taiteki clone he was facing, he had his eyes closed and was counting lightly. “45, 46, 47, 48…” A little ahead of the Taiteki clone; a person had spun on the spot and as he stopped Kei’s clone had been sent crashing into the cave wall. The clones head collided violently with a rocky outcrop and his head split in two. Blood oozed out of the gash, but slowly the body of the clone glazed over and it hardened and sunk back into the cave wall. Taiteki spun round and as Kei said the number forty-six, he had had dashed forwards and grasped the clone of himself in a full nelson.

Kei: “Heh…new record, only forty-eighty seconds to beat me without Ninjutsu…Shame for you that when it comes to it, we will be able to wield chakra…”

Kei held his hand out and tried to materialise his chakra around his hand, but as quickly as it appeared it had disappeared. He cursed his luck and looked towards Taiteki, he smiled slightly and Kei stepped to his left. Taiteki nodded and thrust his clone forwards, running forwards, he jumped up slightly and seemed to run up the clone and bring it into a back flip. As he was about to move away from the clone, he sent a final kick towards the back of the clone’s head. The clone stumbled forwards and stopped as the sound of his flesh hitting the rock was heard. Kei pulled the clone away from the cave wall and allowed him to hit the floor.

Taiteki: “Where would you be without me?”

A smile beamed across his face.

Kei: “…Chuunin”

Releasing a slight smile and chuckle, Kei and Taiteki turned towards Takai who was the last one left fighting the clones. They chose to stay out of the fight though, well Kei did and shook his head as Taiteki suggested they to help.

Kei: “You heard what he said…Such things are not forgotten so quickly…He was at Matsuro Taiteki…

Takai and his clone were engaged in a fierce battle, each of the movements being reflected by the other and both offences being match and ultimately ending in a stale mate. Takai wouldn’t be able to stop him with a flesh wound of sorts, there had to be some serious dismemberment. Takai surged right and his clone streaked left, the broadswords screeching on the top of the cave clashed and with their strengths matched perfectly it was going nowhere. The clone of Namine was being held back as best as could be done, Kasai and Musou were making a nuisance of themselves and Namine was aiding as well. However, every so often Takai would feel a nip down his back or on his legs from her Naginata. He would kick the blade away and he could feel the wood in the handle weakening each time he launched a kick at the weapon. It must have been the water in the cave that had weakened it. She had come around again and Takai finally allowed his focus to leave his own clone, he twisted and with his broadsword, he brought it crashing upon the Naginata’s wooden shaft. It splintered slightly and then the sword tore right through the wood. Takai crouched down and grasped the head of the Naginata and held it in his left hand. He saw his clone was coming closer and he needed to get it to look away from him.

Takai thought briefly for a second, these clones were like them in every way. ..Perhaps fear would also work, nothing emotional, but if I… Takai realising his room for manoeuvring was diminishing every passing second. He thrust his broadsword diagonally to his side so the tip of the blade was embedded in the ceiling. Takai pulled with all his might, as he did so he felt sinews and muscles tear. He had been far too liberal with his actions and he had to pay the price, he looked towards Namine and smiled slightly as the thought of her healing him once more passed through his mind. He pulled regardless of the pain, silently hoping those body parts would go the same way his left arm had. That no longer concerned him; as long as it was still there he was happy. He wrenched the sword forwards and it created a large gouge in the cave roof. He allowed his momentum to carry him forwards, the rocks above and behind him loosened and quickly several large ones had fallen onto the Takai clone. He had allowed himself to be carried forwards, his grip on his sword was minimal, but the head of the Naginata was still in his hand. He collided with the Namine clone, as he met her he wrapped his right arm around her left arm and gripped tightly. He brought his left hand up and pierced the clone’s chest with the head of the Naginata. The momentum caused him to fall, but as he did so he threw the clone away from him as best as he could. The clone had landed to his right, but was quickly dying. However he had to be sure, he rolled onto his left arm and pushed up with it. His right arm was spent for the time being and unless he really wanted it to go the same way as his left, he had to be careful. He hauled his broadsword up with his left hand and walked over to the Namine clone; he stood over her body and then dropped the broadsword down upon its neck and beheaded the clone. Blood spurted up from the arteries, but it soon turned into a rock like substance on his clothes. Takai turned around and headed for the miniature cave in he had employed and whilst doing so he walked past the group and Namine in the cage.

“As I said…You better be careful what you say”

A frosty reception as ever was what she and the rest of the group received. He didn’t like killing and even though he may not have trusted Namine wholly; killing the clone was too close to killing her as much as he liked; although, the true irony was about to set in as he had to kill himself. He walked towards the small cave in and began to dig the rocks a part, it wasn’t anything major; however he had been banking on his clone having limited actions. He seemed to have been correct. The light of the door ahead of them came into view and in front of it stood the clone of Takai. He looked around the group, Kasai had already experienced more death than he should have this day, Musou wouldn’t see it anyway, but his hearing would prove troublesome and Namine. …She would most likely enjoy seeing me being disembowelled He chuckled under his breath, as he walked through the gap he had created he shook his head and stabbed his sword into the ceiling and several rocks fell onto the rock pile once more.

“Hmm, so how do I defeat myself…Well I could always start off with this…”

As Takai walked around the general area he hit the walls of the cave with his hilt making it near impossible for Musou to have heard him. He moved forwards and look at his arms as he did, his left held the broadsword steadily and his right was a mess. However he knew it wasn’t going to be the end of it, Takai slashed at the clone, but it was blocked as was suspected. These skirmishes continued onwards for some time and neither could break the deadlock. However his clone then did something Takai had not expected at all. The clone sunk its own blade into the ceiling and cut a gouge into the ceiling. Takai looked above him and sighed as he knew at the moment speed was not on his side. He dove to his left, but as he moved to the left; his right arm was caught by the rocks. One landing on his shoulder and he felt his shoulder blade break; the one thing that kept him from screaming out in agony was those behind the rocks behind him. He collapsed to the ground and felt his arm be shattered by the rocks falling on it; the bones were being ground into fine dust by the rocks. He gritted his teeth and punched the cave floor as hard as he could with his left hand; anything to release the pain. Pushing the rocks off his arm slowly with his left arm, he pulled himself up with the help of the cave wall and looked to his right arm. Takai’s knowledge of the human body was basic at best, but he knew that nerves ran throughout your entire body. He also knew it wasn’t difficult to destroy said nerves. He rested his sword against the cave wall momentarily and brought out a kunai and looked towards his right arm. He held it around his bicep but made sure he cut as little amount of muscle as possible.

The kunai tore the flesh apart as he pulled it horizontally along his right arm. Blood spewed from the wound, but relief spread across his face as his arm slowly became more and more numb. The only thing worrying him was his shoulder as that hurt whenever he moved; however at least this alleviated the pain. He picked up the sword with his left and laughed at his right arm, it couldn’t even hold its own weight let alone the sword. Weight augmentation or not, his right arm was screwed beyond belief. His blood ran his arm and created a sort of crimson sleeve down his arm. His clone however, was entirely unscathed; the cave in hadn’t seemed to have affected him at all. Although he did notice a limp in the clone’s right leg and he was favouring his left arm. Takai had to be smart with this, he couldn’t blindly attack, but with only one arm it was a little harder than that. He knew what he was going to do, Takai ran forwards with his sword flailing; the cave floor was slippery though, slippery enough to slide quite a distance. He fell to the ground and continued to slide along the ground, his sword trailing behind him. His shoulder blade screaming in agony, but Takai kept his mouth closed. He stopped with half of his body under the clone, the clone lifted the sword up and was about to say something clever; however before he could Takai had hauled his own sword up and driven it through the clone’s abdomen. Takai smiled up at the clone and then kicked it in the back and it stumbled forwards. It fell forwards and the sword pierced through the clone further. It disappeared into the ground and Takai picked up his broadsword, he would have to carry it now or stab it into the ground. Anything on his back was now not going to happen. He hauled the rocks away as best as he could at first and then used his sword as a pivot to dislodge the rocks. He walked through, holding his right arm up to his chin trying to keep it elevated; Namine had been released and the other two seemed well enough, apart from Kasai. However he had experienced something, which is not good for any normal person and now he must come to terms with that.

“Come on, this place is rocketing upwards like nobody’s business, through the door is some kind of annex or something…”

Takai and the group left the room and walked through the door and stepped into a world of unknowns.
