I LOVE TO SUCK THOSE TINY ICICLES!

Okay, with the addition of Zaruko the post order is now as follows: Takai, Musou, Zaruko, Namine. --------------------------------- Takai turned around and Musou was once again with the group, he didn't know where he had come from; however there would be time for that later. Treading onto a rock pile that was once the animated form of the evil gargoyle like creatures, Takai began to make his way down to the other room. However what time he thought he had was about to cut short dramatically. He heard Namine speak, about feeling something; Takai sighed, the prospect of having to tear their way through another horde of gargoyles was not enticing. His thoughts drifted back to what Namine had said as Takai didn't feel, see or hear anything. He turned around only to be treated to an ear piercing scream as he did so, she was being dragged down into the rocks. What in the!? Ah, fuck this I am not losing another one, we might not get her back Takai sliced his sword into the ground and it slid into the ground so easily. Takai rushed towards Namine and reached out and grasped her by her arms. He leant back and tried to stop her from sinking into the ground, he momentarily seemed to succeed with this as she stopped sinking and even came out from the ground slightly. However, whatever was pulling her down was doing so with strong resolve. He knew if he pulled any harder, he would dislocate her shoulders and lose her at the same time. Takai watched her descend slowly further into the ground and as her shoulders sunk into the rocks, Takai released her arms, he stumbled backwards slightly. She was now gone wherever she was going and Takai looked around him to see if it was happening to anyone else. It wasn't, the returned Musou was standing upon solid rock although his Golem seemed to have disappeared, Kasai was fine also; however Namine's summon Kouken, wasn't doing too well. After a few minutes, Kouken was barely able to stand and was whimpering lightly. It was as if something was draining his life force and the edges around his features (jaw, legs etc.) were blurring and almost being sucked up into the air around them. "What the F***!!" Takai was confused and didn't know what was going on, he had lost one of his group to the this place. There was one brightness in the dark though, Musou had disappeared as well; however he had managed to bring him back to them. This meant Musou was now Takai's focus. He spun on his heel and walked over to the Konoha shinobi and grabbed him by his collar and yanked him towards him. "Tell me everything that happened...Now!" Takai held Musou slightly off the ground as he spoke to him, it was a cacophony of noise around them. This cave creaked and lurched, scratching and clawing at the walls reverberated around them and the now loud whimpers of Kouken was causing a terrible ruckus. As Takai waited for the answer he wished, it stopped it all stopped. The silence wasn't a good thing. "For crying out loud! Give us at least one god damned break?" Takai looked into the hallway that held their salvation and from the walls and ceiling and the floor water was accumulating rapidly. It was blue, yet it also had an odd purple tinge to it, and it was rising. A gust of wind blew past those left in the cave and Takai had a feeling he knew what was about to happen. "Anchor yourselves down...as best...as you can!" He was shouting through the wind and he hoped that Musou and Kasai would have heard him. He ran forwards towards the tidal wave of water that was now facing them, he looked around him and realised that those piles of rock that were once gargoyles are only going to end up being used as weapons in the torrent that is about to come. Takai changed his course and veered to his right and ran past his broadsword, he stuck a hand out and wrenched it from the ground with his momentum. He swung his arm run slightly and the sword cut through the rock and moved deeper and deeper into the cave wall. When he had gone far enough Takai stopped, the water was now coming towards them, crashing against the floor and the walls, it was launching the rocks into the air and smashed against what was the entrance. He reached for his wire and very roughly tied it round his waist several times and attached it to the hilt of his broadsword in several areas. "Damn...This is gonna hurt like hell" The wave descended upon the group and crashed down into them, slamming into the opening of the cave and anything that may be so foolish to be there. |

Musou was yanked towards Takai who screemed in his face, it was definte that the group had all survived, no corpse could make this much noise. Musou hissed through his clenched teeth at Takai. "Namine, is fine just like I was she'll be asked a question and be released, Like I was. But should she get it wrong then we are going to suffer. I got asked to read I failed and apparently everything that was sent to attack you for it died. Then I was released, but now I need to be released again as I can hear a lot of water approaching, as can the wolf." Musou looked down towards Kouken who was pawing at the ground and whimpering slightly. Takai dropped him and looked towards the oncoming disaster that was a torrent of cold remorseless water. Musou sighed and felt for his kunai pouch, it had been hit by lightning against fulgur and he'd only managed to save his fan and the odd weapon, loads of tags though. He took his fan off'f his back and ran to the side of the room rubbing his fingers across the ancient surface near the base of the wall. He shoved the fan in the lose mortar and laid down, where he was his feet were up against the step leading down to the chamber floor. He braced himself head face down to protect it and his body stretched to wedge himself between the fan and step better, he also cursed the day Tsunade sent him to this hell hole. The water was now just an endless noise in his mind, there was the intake of air and then the feeling of being swallowed into an underwater world with now escape. The fan creaked and the mortar shifted slightly as cracks ripped through the wall and then there was silence, along with a feeling that Musou had been smacked in the chest by a ten tonne boulder whilst he just laid there. His lungs where starting to scream and Musou couldn't take it anymore he waved a hand upwards and felt the coldness of thue breeze above. There was no more tugging and Musou stood up to find himself waist deep in water which was slowly draining away. "Team blue. Member Musou requesting permission to be sea sick." Musou looked around him smiled slightly and scratched the back of his head, as he kicked chunks of rock on the floor his knuckles were bleeding from where a chunk of rock had hit them. Musou pulled the fan out of the wall and turned to walk back to where Takai was interogating him ready to resume with it till Namine returned. He was nearly there before he jumped sideways and dived underwater screaming out a warning. "Head's down incoming water bullets." Overhead hundreads of droplets of water zoomed past each drilling into the boulder about a centimetre, Musou waited underwater sitting on the bottom watching the chakra manipulated bullets fly out the wall at the far end of the chamber and zoom towards them. He was safe under the water but the water level had dropped to knee high and three bullets had already smacked into Musou's legs and back. A minute later everything went quiet again and the bullets stopped flying overhead. "That technique is Namine's I had a hard time combating it in the exams but she wouldn't have been able to make that many and she sure as hell wouldn't have fired them at us. Unless...Why Namine why do you hate US!? I'm joking it was not her fault." Musou scratched his leg where two of the bullets had hit, they were both bruised and there was an area which Musou was sure was bleeding slightly on his back. "By now she should reappear and someone else will disappear. h and Takai there is a voice which asks questions and s far I feel that both of us have failed to answer correctly." |

OOC: Thank you for letting me in on the event, it will be fun and looking foward to it. IC: Kasai had never witnessed such a powerful and massive jutsu since he has been on only one mission so far. He noticed Takai and was glad to have a friend or at least someone he was familiar with. This wave was not good news for Kasai since he is a Katon user. He thought out several ways to counter this wave, one being to use his Katon Nami (Fire WAve) to evaporate it. He remembered the test Takai had put him through and remembered it was no use. This wave was coming and the only thing he could do, brace for the impact and try everything to avoid getting seriously inured or even killed. Kasai weighed for little and this wave would toss him like rag doll into the rocks and jaged edges of the cave. I have to reduce this impact of the wave....Takai seems to be using his sword as something to hold onto.....great idea....I think I will do the same Kasai unsheathed his sword and slammed it into the floor. He said outloud not intentially,"Father, with this sword protetc me, I have yet to make you proud let me live through this and make our clan proud" Here it comes As Kasai shut his eyes and prepared for this impact. He grabbed onto his katana with a firm grasp, took a deep breath in and the wave hit him as if a giant punched him. He needed to focus on not letting go while retaining air so he doesn't drown. Kasai kept his eyes closed and tried not to panic so he wouldn't lose any oxygen. He thought of peaceful things and happy events, one stuck out, the oasis that he shared with Takai. The wave continued to pull Kasai to the point where his feet were slightly off the ground. A......a few more.....seconds The water level decreased and Kasai's head was above water so he took the opportunity to release his breath and take in more air. Kasai was glad he mad it through with no injuries, but like he suspected this water mad him feel tired and weak. He spaced out a bit and before he could come to his senses he noticed Suiton bullets being shot at the group with lightning speed. More water....just my luck He needed more practice in dodging and deflecting attacks, but now wasn't a good time to wish that he had trained more in that area. He pulled the sword from the floor like King Arthur with excaliber, and Kasai felt pumped to get through this attack. He felt so ready he decided to scream,"Bring it on! I'll defeat everything you throw at me!" With the katana tightly grasped in his hands and knees bent, the bullets proceeded towards Kasai and the rest of the team. Kasai cart-wheeled to his left as his right side was baraged with water bullets. Two Suiton bullets headed towards his heart, if they connected, it meant bad news for Kasai. With a slice of his katana the two bullets splashed onto the rocky floor. He got a bit over confident and was hit in his left leg with two or three bullets. He knelt for a second continued to block bullets with his father's blade. His sword training came in handy in this scenario. The attack seemed to end and he felt weak, this wasn't good considering this was only the beginning. Hopefully the rest isn't as physically demanding, and less Suiton jutsus. |

OOC: sorry it’s late…and short IC: Namine felt the pressure give out a little making it easier to sit up. She panted slightly trying to regain her breath as she glared up at the face on the wall that was still chuckling to itself. Namine slammed her fist on the ground and demanded that he tell her what he had done. He never replied he just simply gave her an empty glare when suddenly Naminé felt her body being lifted up off the ground. “No! NO Damn it….you can take me back….I want answers…Listen to me damn it….Put me back down!” Namine struggled against gravity, but it was too late and before she knew it she was back at the surface again. She hadn’t been paying attention to her surroundings just simply yelling at the unknown face that was no longer there. Her fists pounded furiously against the soft mud as she continued to yell obscene words. After a few seconds she realized something. She was touching the ground…but…it was wet…? Namine eyes widened as her head snapped to the side to see Takai, Musou, Kasai…and Kouken who had some how managed to survive…something. They were all soaked and there were puddles of water everywhere. Namine slowly stood up off the ground and shakily walked over towards the other three. Namine sighed and clutched her head before walking over towards her naginata which oddly kept in place during what ever the hell happened up here. She pulled it out of the ground and strapped it back on her back before turning towards Musou, Kasai and Takai. “What happened to you guys?” Namine anxiously waited for someone to reply. She knew they didn't have much time left before one of them was suddenly pulled into that trap. They needed to figure out some way to get away from this trap alive. |

Takai brought the kunai down and sliced through the wires that he had round his abdomen. The small blade on the kunai cut through the wires with ease and he felt the relief on his body. He looked down and saw small cuts on his sides and his back. He pulled his sword out of the wall with ease and even felt some suction on it as it came out, the water having an effect. He turned around and saw that Namine had reappeared from wherever she had gone. "...We were slammed by a tidal wave...It crashed through this cave and nearly drowned us all...The remnants of the rock gargoyles were flung against us and to stop being thrown against the cave wall; measures had to be taken..." Takai indicated to the slices in his skin from the cuts. "...Then as we thought it was all fine, hundreds, no thousands of bullets of water tried to tear us apart...It's over now...Just as you return..." Takai stared at Namine as he went over what had happened, that water wasn't normal. It was created like a jutsu and the colour of the water was too familiar to something he had seen before. He couldn't outright accuse her though, one thing that wasn't needed at this point was chaos amongst the group. However, he would be wary of the Kumo shinobi from now on. As far as Takai knew, she had tried to kill them. Takai slung his broadsword onto his right shoulder and walked away from the wall and stepped over the puddles of water and piles of rock. All the group was here and it seemed as if all was well for the time being, Takai checked to be sure though and as he was sure there was nothing to fear he made his way into the room that led to the door. As he walked along the cave floor he shouted back to Musou. "Oi...Musou, you have seen Namine fight haven't you...You said those Bullets of Water were something similar to something she had performed against you yeah?...Considering she is such a capable user of Suiton, surely summoning a wave to fill this meagre area wouldn't be difficult would it? Kasai, Musou watch her...She may be a Chuunin, but she relies on Ninjutsu and is from what I know...Quite adept with it, I don't know what has happened or why, but right now...I can't help but feel she has had some hand in this...Wouldn't surprise me though, Kumo Shinobi are never to be trusted..." Takai spoke in a normal tone of voice at a normal volume so he knew everyone would hear it. He stepped closer and closer to the door and it seemed as if they were going to be able to delve into this hell hole some more. Until the ground beneath his feet became unstable and it felt like he was upon shifting sands. He looked towards Musou and Kasai and his face didn't display anguish or fear, he was sick of this happening and just wanted to be rid of it. As he sunk deeper into the ground, none came to his aid, but then again he hadn't expected them to. Whatever was happening, was far beyond their power and control. He felt his chest sink and his arm and slowly he was being sucked completely down. He felt something grip tightly around his wrist and move up his arm and try to take his sword away from him. In some strange mix of mumbled words which was not too dissimilar to speaking under the water. "I don't f***ing think so" Takai gripped tightly onto the broadsword, whatever he was going to face down there; he was not about to let go of it. He sunk deeper and deeper, he heard bones crack and knew his wrist had broken and that whatever grip he had over the sword was minimal now. Slinking down being held by some imaginary force, he was placed down upon some kind of chair that was made of something slippery. He had trouble remaining on the chair, he dropped his broadsword into his left hand to remove the strain from his right. In front of him appeared this ghostly type figure that was ghoulish and seemed to revel in the fact Takai had injured himself. "Ooo, one with fight, pep spirit!! Heh, now now, we can't have you having that sword now can we...Give it here..." Takai remained seated, and simply stared back towards this ghostly figure. He had no intentions of relieving himself of his sword. Takai replied with a short and curt reply, "...No" "...Ah...Well then we are going to have to take it from you then..." Takai felt his arms be clamped down onto the chair and as several torches around him lit up, he saw that he was indeed clamped down onto a chair made of ice. He looked to his left arm and saw that the ice was slowly restricting his hand and he felt his grip on his sword weaken. Takai felt a smile broaden his face and his eyes rolled into his head and he felt a switch over occur in his mind. His eyes rolled back down and in place of his white eyes were normal eyes, but with red cornea. He pulled his left arm up with as much effort as he could muster, and the ice around his wrist began to crack. With a push he tore his hand away from the ice that was holding him down, he reeled on his right hand that was being held down. He swapped his grip on his broadsword and slammed down the hilt on the ice. It shattered instantly. Takai rose from the ice chair and walked forwards. "Number one rule num nuts, when you are trying to hold someone against their will...Try not to use their elemental affinity...I don't know what the f*** you have going on here, how you are stopping me from using my chakra...Believe you me, I am going to find out..." The figure in front of him remained still, smiling from ear to ear; or what was presumed to be from ear to ear. What came from his mouth surprised him massively. "...Hehahaha...I don't-- What do yo-- You ca-- Sit dow--" The figure in front of him seemed to begin to shake, and he seemed to be doing something similar to what was happening to Fulgur. Takai wasn't going to waste anytime with the figure though. Takai smiled maniacally and slammed his sword through the figure. As he brought the sword away from the figure he felt himself be lifted up slightly. His sword came away as he floated up and he saw whatever the figure was blow up into smoke and jolts of electricity fired in every direction. Takai felt his head come up into the dank air of the cave and soon he was back into the cave. He looked around and saw the door was now open. "What are you all waiting for?" Takai stepped through the doorway and walked into a new room. The group followed and once everyone was through, the door fell down again and the group were trapped once more. Now they had stumbled onto something again. The floor crackled as the group entered. "Ah...fantastic..." --------------------------------------------------- 6. Maze of Electrical Currents (Takai) A maze of electrical currents is laid out in a large room. At the other end of the maze of electrical currents is the door. All over the ground are switches that you must step on in order to get through the entire maze. Stepping on these switches changes the direction of the electrical currents, revealing other methods of travel. If you create a poor connection of currents, then an explosion of electricity will occur, electrocuting the person instantly. You must hit the correct switches to create an acceptable path of travel to reach the end of the maze and ultimately, the door. The electricity responds unusually well to Suiton users. |

"Kasai, don't worry about raising that weapon. If Namine was trying to kill us all we would have been killed earlier. Besides she was never able to make that many water bullets." Musou crouched down kunai in hand just incase something decided to attack whilst he sat down facing the rock blocking the exit. He felt in his pockets creating a mental list of his inventory, three kunai and many shuriken were hidden all over his person. Musou stood up as Takai came back from the room below. He smiled as the rock shifted with a scraping noise and Takai pointed telling them that the rest stop was over. Musou walked forwards hefting his fan over his shoulder and slotting it into the loops on his back and walked through the doorway. "Another one dies at the hands of Takai. I have a genjutsu that'll fill the room if I used it on you." Musou stopped and waited for everyone to catch up and get a good look at the next task. "Electricity? Again? Is that the only element they can use themselves." The room was about 60 metres long and 30 metres wide, the walls holding large tourches and the floor buzzing with electricity. Musou stepped forwards, not into the main chamber but to the edge of the step, inches from his feet the electricity licked the floor as it sparked across the floor. "It's not just random, it's a set course with a proper circuit. The electrictiy is following a small metal grid on the floor." Musou leaned forwards and tapped a metal strip infront of the group, no current ran through this bit unlike the rest. "It's a maze and this bit is the entrance...Each path is only half a metre wide but there appears to be a few parts where there are open areas...We can change round at those points only." Musou stood up and walked back to the group who were standing just in from the door. He looked back towards the room. There were gaps between a few of the metal strips and also switches with wires leading underground. Each switch lead to at least two of these gaps and would push small pieces of metal up to fill them. This would end up changing the current because subsequently other blocks would fall shuting of certain routes. The first part lead a quarter of the way into the middle where there was a 5X5 square with a switch in the middle. At the far end there were three paths leading to the other door, just three. The first switch would open four paths and the group would have to split up, one wouldn't reach the end it seemed but should anyone fall it appears that everyone would fail. |

Kasai figured that splitting up would be the best way to handle this trap. He was glad that this trap didn't involve any water attacks, but he knew that this would be bad for Suiton users. He knew Takai was a Suiton user, but he seemed strong enough to be able to get through it. He also realized that Namine was a Suiton user, but Kasai did not know her strength level. "Ok guys.....I'm heading to the far left...I'll try opening up some pathways for you to progress......the goal is to stop the Jagganath.....we can't allow our allies to end up like Suna....if I fall.....you....must...... continue" Kasai walked through an open pathway and a switch was straight ahead with no electric fields blocking it. As he walked through the loud sound of "Bzzzzzzz", he felt the fear of getting electricuted. He told himself to continue on, Suna and its allies need me "Hey...there is a switch here.....let me know if anything opens up on your end." Kasai walked up to the switch and took note of his surroundings. He stepped on it and hoped for the worst. Suddenly he heard a click and shut his eyes expecting the pain of a lightning bolt striking him, put there was no pain. He opened his eyes to see that a new pathway was cleared in front of him. "Guys.....it opened down here....I'm moving in closer" There was a right and left turn he could make he saw a switch on both ends. One could end up leading him further into the maze, and the other could kill him. He chose the path to his left, further from the entrance because he knew some mazes often did that. He saw the switch and stepped on it, but nothing happened. "Nothing happended down on my end.....it may be possible that two switches have to be pushed at the same time for progress to be made." |

Namine glared at Takai after his warning to Musou and Kasai. After all she had done…did he really believe she would turn her back on them and try to attack them? They all had no chakra at that point in time as far as she knew it. If she wasn’t pissed off enough before she was when he made a remark about Kumo. She absolutely hated when people made comments about her village. Whether it was stress from the trap or irritation she didn’t know, but she finally snapped at him. “Listen you, I did nothing…whatever happened to all of you was beyond my control damn it….but think what you want….but don’t ever…say another damn thing about Kumo….so help me kami-sama.” Namine crossed her arms and turned away from him. Only a few moments later he disappeared into the depths of the ground and into the same hands of the monster she was in not to long ago. Namine heard Musou’s words to Kasai and turned around curiously. “Musou….how many bullets would you say were there?” She waited patiently until she finally zoned out into her own little world. She hadn’t even noticed that Takai had come back. She sighed quietly to herself and followed him and the others towards the next room. She jumped slightly and glanced behind her to see that the door had disappeared. Kuso….trapped again….i wonder wha- Namine’s eyes went wide with shock as she turned back around to face the room. Torches lit the sides of the walls and in front of them laid a field of electricity. Namine involuntarily shivered and took a hesitant step backward. Namine’s eyes darted back and forth across the room. She was so nervous she only caught bits and pieces of what Musou was saying about the maze. The main thing running though her mind was a giant red flag telling her to turn back….the problem was that there was no where to turn back to. It was then she heard Kasai speaking. He seemed very brave…more so than she originally thought. If he could do it…she could to….right? Namine moved forward slightly and looked over the edge of the small ledge they were standing on towards the electrical field. She watched in awe as Kasai opened a new path in front of him. Namine then slowly took a step off the ledge and onto the pathway. She slipped slightly and her body tilted towards her right over one of the electric lines. A loud buzzing sound rounded out in the room before a spark flew near her. She jumped away slightly and clutched her chest in fright. Definitely not good…note to self…stay as far in the path way as possible and away from the electric lines…oh how i hate electricity....and lightning... Namine glanced up at Kasai and slowly began walking towards the switch he had originally stepped on. Namine bit her lip out of fear of getting electrocuted like she almost had when she stepped onto the field. She hesitantly pushed her foot down upon the switch and froze. After a few minutes she looked back up and turned to the side to see that two new paths had opened on either side of her. She looked carefully a both switches….but something didn’t quiet sit right with her as she looked at the one to her right. It looked misshapen…different from the one she had stepped on and there was an odd small red dot peering next to it. |

Takai heard what Namine said about her village and it wasn't something he hadn't wholly not expected to be spewed from her lips. Kumo shinobi were ridiculously loyal to their pitiful village, it was comparable to the loyalty of the Sunagakure shinobi. Blind loyalty in both cases is a possibility, but it is a loyalty nevertheless. As Takai saw what now stood in his way, he reached into his pouches and pulled out two reams of wire and four kunai. He tied the two kunai to each other and did the same with the remaining two kunai. He looked at the kunai and rubbed them vigorously along his trouser legs, he was charging them to hopefully attract some of the electricity running around the outside of the safe paths. He begun to swing the kunai and wire down his sides, he stepped forwards, fully aware that his clothes were still thoroughly drenched from the water earlier on. He glanced towards Namine, he didn't truly believe her denial of the incident. This place was so mysterious, it would also be quite a good ploy from Kumo. Send her in to gain trust and then when it wasn't expected she would launch her attack. Takai shook his head and mumbled under his breath. "Kumogakure shinobi...Never worthy of trust...They have no honour...They would sacrifice their own family for benefit..." He had walked past Namine as he said this and was aware she would have heard him. Takai continued past her though and followed the pathway that Kasai had cut away by succeeding in choosing the correct switch. He swung his kunai rapidly as he walked, every so often he would receive a slight shock and he would feel his muscles seize up. He pushed on though, the kunais were working well, but he was terribly wary of his sword. It was rather large and in this room, it was difficult for it to not get electrified. He was several yards away from Kasai and he noticed they were becoming increasingly surrounded by the electricity running around them. He branched off onto one of the other paths and when Takai saw fit he press the necessary switch and his path would extend onwards. His sword swung dangerously from side to side as he walked and he felt several jolts run up his back and caused him to stop moving. Takai saw Kasai and Musou progressing well as well, but Namine was still stranded at the beginning. Takai knew why she was so greatly hesitant, she was only a suiton user, this was a nightmare for her. He had no sympathy for her though, the pain of the bullets of water and the bruises of the rocks being flung against him resurfaced. Takai muttered under his breath. "...What is the new Chuunin going to do...Two Genin and a fellow Chuunin have found their way..." Takai chuckled slightly and stepped on what was the final switch and he had made it to the other side of the room. He saw scorch marks up his legs and his left arm was in rather dyer straights. However he didn't care, he had made it across and now it was for him to wait for the remaining three. |

"Kuso!" Musou recoiled back from the side. "Kuso!" He had moved back too far and now the electicity was zapping his back. "I hate this one it's not hard just long. Musou reached a crossroad his fan tapped at the ground, since it was insulating him as it was made of wood Musou only felt the slightest of shocks, although his hands were becoming numb. He tapped them on metal and his fingers jumped, yet he tapped it again and he knew he was just expecting the shook. The bit he was tapping was not live. Two paths, one may lead me to the otherside the other will get me lost. The others chose left yet the designer of any maze must know when someone is lost they will instictivly take the left path. This means that leads to death, or they know that clever sods like me know it to and I should go left because they want to catch me out...I wish I put less thought into it like Zaruko who just goes where he wants and faces no problems...Well I might as well guess, left it is. Musou walked left tapping the fan infront of him as he did so, there was a switch which went click and two metal blocks went clunk in answer as the way back was blocked, another two blocks ahead went clunk as well. Musou started walking using the fan to guide his hidden steps. It tapped rythmicly on the hard cobblestone ground. The stones were six sided flat cathead stones but on every corner there was one which was slightly domed. Musou may have been blind but that meant he was more aware of the things vision didn't pick up. On each of the stones Musou realised as he turned a third corner where slight groves, curved to hide shadows, in the direction you, Musou hoped, took to reach the end. Someone somewhere liked him enough to give him a chance and Musou hoped this someone didn't have a twisted sense of humor. Musou countinued through the maze counting how many times he heard the clunk of metal blocks popping into place and the ammount of times he walked into the electricity whilst doing so. He pivoted round, the fact that most of the sole on his shoes had melted away was now a plus in Musou's eyes, his foot dipped slightly into the grove and he walked forwards. Yet something was wrong, there were the sounds of footsteps but not enough for all four people. He looked back and sniffed the air, he could smell Zaruko because he was passing by a metre away. Takai's path had also taken him near this point. Musou turned to the entrance where in the square he thought he could hear Namine's slow breathing. "It's not too hard Namine." Musou had noticed that she was still quite reluctant to move through the maze. "I admit your suiton but I find that if you just stop and give a kuso!" Musou had lost focus and shooked himself. "Good luck anyway." He murmed pivoting round on a slightly domed cathead and letting his feet navigate the way. Musou walked forwards about ten paces then fell flat on his face, he stood up rubbing his nose. He had tripped on the step up leading to the hightened exit platform, he sat down and waited. Zaruko and Takai were already there and Musou heard Takai laugh slighty under his breath. He murmed something Musou however had managed to pick it up and even if he hadn't heard the words he could have guessed quite easy what they were. He looked to Takai. "Speach like that will not aid us, if she loses it and ends up losing herself then we may not be able to leave this room. When I stood on this platform it shifted slightly, I suspect a weight system means we must match the weight of our group at the start...Namine's path joined to mine near the end, I'm sure of it, that way the four paths turning into three would sap at people's moral and make it easier for a team to fall out. This is more a test of enduring your teamates than working with them." |
