I LOVE TO SUCK THOSE TINY ICICLES!

Takai saw the bolt of lightning shoot his way and smiled as it did so, in front of him appeared a rose made from ice. It hovered in the air only to be smashed by the lightning, the ice shards flew everywhere; however it dispersed the main strength of the attack into the air around them. He saw the clouds gathering above and as they came closer he saw the crackles of lightning between them; the destructive force in the behemoths of the air floated above them, ready to rain hell down upon them if Fulgur wished. He smiled, this plan that he had set up, he wasn't entirely sure of its success and was more using it as a test of something. Takai moved forwards towards Fulgur, but as he did he thought intently to himself. The plan was simply to see if he was completely made of metal and if he was capable of taking pain if he wasn't. Takai was sure that he wouldn't have had to experience pain from electricity himself, this being the reason why he is always electrified. It would stop any potential Raiton users from launching an elemental assault. It was a bitter irony if he was right and with the amount of energy Fulgur was pumping out, he would probably harm himself greatly, if it were possible. Takai stopped several metres away from Fulgur and drew the Golem's attention. Takai smiled slightly as he saw the electricity being formed in his hand and the loathsome gaze that he had on his face. At this time it was being solely directed at Namine; however soon he knew this wouldn't be the case. Takai allowed some chakra to bleed out of his feet and into the ground, with his aid it wormed its way under the pool of water. With his guidance it broke up through the rock and froze the water upwards clenching hold of the Golem's feet and moving up its legs securing it in position. It had a trail that reached all the way back to Takai, so until Takai willed it to cease its grip around the Golem it would remain. The Golem had pulled his hand back slightly as the amount of electricity he was gathering seemed to begin to weigh his hand down. Takai turned his head and stuck out a hand towards the group and gave a quick wave towards the group with an arrogant smile broad across his face. He launched himself into the pool of water with the Golem and threw his arms forwards towards the Golem. He closed his eyes and as he did he let some chakra seep out from his skin and as he did it solidified and a cacophony of cracking could be heard. His hands fell onto the Golem's shoulders and as he did so his ice covered body slid into the body. "Heh, tell me if this hurts..." Takai smiled as his hands finally came into contact with Golem. He saw the electricity race along his arms and down his body until it met the water he was standing in. As it met the water, a loud bang could be heard and then the muffled cries of the Golem could be heard. He was being electrocuted by his own lightning and he really wasn't liking it. Takai could see his eyes dance about in their sockets as the realisation of what was happening hit him. Takai laughed in his face as this was going on, but out the corner of his eye he saw the hand of the golem seem to start flashing and it slowly moved forwards and then seemed to jump a foot and met Takai's abdomen. Takai felt the hand crack through the ice and plunge itself into his stomach. He missed a breath and for a moment everything stood still; the sharp pain of electricity racked his body for a second. He was then thrown backwards several metres in the air and skid on the floor towards the group. He stopped around four feet short of the group, all stood still for a moment, but Fulgur was still being shocked by the water he was stood in; it was too much he couldn't even remain stood in the water. However the silence was broken as about eight lightning bolts cracked down from the sky and seemed to hit around the pool of water and the cracks made by them seemed to drain the water. Takai rolled over onto his front and slid a knee in front of his body pushing himself up. He gathered his balance and stood up, his face was scraped by the dust and rocks, his hair dirtied by the sand and dust and into the middle of his chest a hole where material once stood. He removed his Chuunin vest which was now very damaged. "...Didn't hurt...A bit..." Takai coughed and clasped hold of the wound in the middle of his stomach; the punch by the Golem had ripped through all his layers. Now all he wore was a black top with his usual baggy white trousers and trainers. His white trousers were no longer white and somewhat clung to his legs as they were soaked through. He ran his hand through his hair to get it off his face so it was slightly spiked at the front. The Golem has broken free of the trap and was to say the least, very pissed off. "HOW DARE YOU!! YOU DARE USE MY LIGHTNING AGAINST M!-- Takai cut in before he was able to finish his sentence. "Well... I was always one for surprises..." Fulgur's already angered state was simply being tended to by Takai, and every comment he passed, made Fulgur's anger burn brighter. Takai just stood there smiling at the Golem, he meant everything he had said for the entire time and if the Golem didn't like it; Takai didn't give a fuck. "...Hahaha...You...You are a funny one...You still stand before me, a God, and try to crack jokes...However, this time Shinobi, your sense of humour has cost you your life...What you will witness only a handful of others have, and they were much more worthy than you Shinobi..." Fulgur stood still and as he did the lightning on his body crackled more and more furiously. Something was happening, but Takai didn't know what, he wagered the others in his group were drawing a blank as well. The clouds that he had previously noted were now above them and were seemingly swirling about a point. A huge lightning bolt crashed down and hit Fulgur; as it did it didn't disappear instantly, but lingered there still striking Fulgur. It seemed to change him almost, his metallic body seemed to melt away from him and as it did, in its stead was a sphere of energy that hung in the air. It was blurry and hard to focus on, but slowly it became clearer as did what was happening. The lightning broke away from the clouds and gathered around the Sphere. The sphere rose up into the air a good twelve feet from the floor and hung there once more. The only way Takai could think of what he was now facing was, a body made entirely of the lightning that they just saw. It was protecting the sphere of energy in the middle and the body was easily twenty feet tall at its maximum. "......." Takai's eyes darted left, then right, back to the sphere of energy, then left and then right again. "...Shit" Takai spun round and searched for his broadsword and saw it behind the group, Takai ran backwards grabbing Kisane and throwing him backwards out of the way of the fight. There was something different with Kisane, as if he was elsewhere and he couldn't afford a Suna shinobi to be injured. He was a new Genin and was by no means ready for this. Takai threw a hand out and wrenched the broadsword out of the ground and slung it over his shoulder, he turned on his heel and stopped where he once stood ahead of Namine and Musou. "...This guy is nowhere near the power level he was a moment ago...Musou you're a Genin, but you use Doton...Believe me that's the only reason you are still here and not with Kisane...Kumo girl, to be brutally honest...You are screwed, but you're a Chuunin, so I expect you to be able to help regardless of your element...This thing is probably the hardest adversary you two have ever faced...I don't intend on dying here today..." "...You will not get a chance to hurt me again Shinobi...Lightning doesn't strike twice..." Takai stood still gazing up at the giant now in front of them with his broad sword slung across his back, he was waiting for the Golem to make the first move. |

Musou jumped through the air to his left as the bolt f chakra charged lightning singed down crackling towards him. It burnt the ground where he was standing a black colour and the smell of burnt rock sifted its way into his nostrils, he looked up again and opened his eyes. He could see the chakra flow of things clearer now he was foolish to have kept the metal konha protector over his eyes it impaired his ability before. He would speak to Hogosha once this was over just too make sure that he had got the facts straight about what was happening in his head. Musou looked around him moving his head slowly from side to side making it easier to tell which direction sound was coming from he 'saw' Takai send chakra thrugh his feet and 'watched' it seep down into the earth. He sniffed again it smelled of burning rubber, Musou's soles had melted to a gummy mixture on the floor. A second to rest? There was a crackling of ice forming and Musou steadeid himself into a crouched position. Not a moment too soon. Musou listened t what Takai and Fulgur were doing, there was crackling of electricity, conversation and Takai's comments, which wudnt be counted as conversation in the same way a broken glass wouldn't count as a puzzle. Then there was silence except for the loud noise of sparks from high up. Musou focused, there was a ball of chakra suspended in a body of pulsating, roaring with noise as the lightning exploded through the air forming the outline of a body. It looked down at the group. Althugh it didn't really look down the head just turned to make it seem it was adressing the group. Yet the lightning zig zagged around the mouth making it actually speak, or at least thunder. "You will all wish yu had taken my warning for what it was and left this place never to return. Lightning doesn't strike twice but for you IT WILL." Sparks flew out in every direction five of which struck Musou in different areas but mainly on the forehead protector on his arm and his kunai pouch. They weren't strong and only made him jump as his musces spasmed slightly from the electricity 'twanging' on his nerves. He quickly pulled off the pouch and threw it away from him, he then did the same with the forehead protector fingers caressing the Konha symbl before casting it aside. Instantly the lightning followed it as another wave shot out a second later, hitting Musou three times before dying. The power was getting stronger climbing at a steady pace each time. By the fifth strike Musou's leg and arms which got hit the mst were starting to get numbed unlike the small jolt that it had started with. Everyone else would be undergoing the same attack and Fulgur stood in the centre of it all laughing each time the lightning shot out and struck his foes. "The longer you waste fighting this omega then the stronger the lightning will become. A strong group of shinobi like you should be able to survive a few minutes but even you will be crippled by my torture. AND YOU Iceman shall have you death sooner being so foolish as to aproach me. I shall increase the power of my attacks for you twice as fast as it goes for the rest." |

OOC: sorry for the late post. IC: Namine ran over towards Takai and Musou as Takai rolled away from Fulgur. She glanced down at the wound in his stomach and winced. Even if he said the opposite it looked like it hurt a lot. Her head snapped up towards a now extremely pissed off golem, who had easily broken his way from their trap. “Shit, Shit, Shit not good, not good at all.” Namine’s eyes darted from left to right in amazement and fear as Fulgur revealed his true for to them. If she wasn’t screwed before, she was definitely screwed now…They all were. Namine looked up at Takai who now had his broadsword. She hadn’t even seen him retrieve it, she had been too busy staring at Fulgur and trying to think of something to do. She raised an eyebrow before glaring at him when his words were aimed at her. She didn’t need him to tell her she was screwed when she clearly knew it. Looking at Fulgur to her was like staring death in the eyes, but she knew she had to shake her fears away. Namine glanced back at Kisane…though Fulgur’s attention was clearly aimed more at the three of them rather than him…she knew he was still at risk of being hurt. Sand Nin or not…right now he was on her team. Namine ignored any other words spoken by Takai and bit into her thumb, drawing blood. She then began to make hand seals before slamming her hand on the ground in front of her. A seal appeared before a large puff of smoke blossomed from the ground in front of Takai. Namine smirked…it worked. There in front of Takai stood a large white fur wolf. His golden eyes loomed around the area before turning to look at Naminé. The wolf nodded slightly before Naminé began to speak. “Kouken do what ever you must to protect Kisane…and if you sense anything…any attack that Fulgur might conjure up…warn us please.” Kouken nodded once again giving Fulgur a deadly glance before running off in Kisane’s direction. Namine held her naginata in front of her before stabbing it into the ground, hoping it would act as a conductor in case Fulgur started to act up again. She glared up at Fulgur as he spoke down upon them with such hatred. Namine heard a loud bark coming from behind them and knew something was coming. Suddenly lightning flew in all directions, one spark ended up hitting the hilt of her naginata just like she thought it would. Another spark slammed into her shoulder, numbing it. Meanwhile two more sparks hit her leg and stomach, the cloth around those areas had burnt away. Namine winced slightly at the pain. It got her hip causing a short spasm and her forehead protector on her arm. The more times she got hit the stronger the pain. Namine glared up at the laughing Fulgur and scowled. “Bastard…Rot in fucking hell.” But Fulgur ignore her and his yellow silhouette turned towards Takai. Suddenly Namine felt a tug on her pant leg. She looked back to see Kouken, the look of fear in his eyes made her nervous. He opened his mouth an spoke. “There’s something…bad charging under the surface…near that Sand Nin….he needs to move and quick….all of you do.” Namine’s eyes widened as she turned back to look at Takai. Fulgur’s next words continued to ring in her ears even after the attack. Suddenly Naminé felt the ground shake before cracks began to form along the surface. The largest one was moving towards Takai. YOU ICEMAN…Shall suffer the wrath of a god, and a power much more sinister than you’ve ever faced in you entire life….. Namine started to move back quickly, calling out for Musou to move away as well. She then shouted out for Takai to move, whether he had or not she couldn’t tell because the next thing she saw was a massive beam of Lightning shooting out from the ground near where Takai before slamming back down upon the earth full force, leaving a giant hole and rubble in its wake. |

I LOVE TO SUCK THOSE TINY ICICLES!

Takai heard every disgust filled syllable that leapt from Fulgur's being. Every time he uttered some new threat towards Takai's existence, he smiled and laughed and made it clear that he was enjoying himself. He saw the others take up their guards and maneuver the way out of the balls of lightning that headed their way. The balls of lightning in front of him seemed to hold themselves in place as his smile beamed up towards the Golem. He loved how he was able to get under the skin of the golem so easily with just what he would say, or by the expression he would make. He reveled in the power he held over this country, but at the same time knew that the power this creature in front of them wielded was not something to be trifled with lightly. He was strong, much stronger than Takai had thought, he was too strong for the group alone. In a head on they would ultimately lose quickly, but Takai still held an ace up his sleeve. He stood still and gazed up at the ball of lightning and slowly turned around him, he saw the measures the others were taking and the poof of a summoning in front of him surprised him slightly. A wolf had appeared in front of him and like most summonings it seemed to be able to speak with its master. He waved the summoning away and heard Namine whisper things to it. He heard her shouts to Musou to prepare himself and then smiled as her shout headed his way. He simply smiled and turned his head towards Fulgur and felt the small shocks hit his body and his smile broadened as every hit struck their target. He felt the shocks cascade down his body from his neck to his feet, from his shoulders down his body, one hit his chest and it fizzled throughout his body and others hit his body and their discharge ran all over his body. Holding the smile was becoming more difficult as the strengths of the shocks increased, from the first being a slight shock nothing more than a slight build up of static electricity, to a fully fledged shocking by a taser. His leg faltered as the shocks of electricity threw parts of his body into spasm, involuntary movements at this point in time would really dent any chance of his steely reserve lasting. He looked up at Fulgur who once again released a tirade of abuse towards him and some more trumped up bollocks streamed from the Golem's mouth. He once again referred to himself as a God, Takai sighed at the mention of this again; Takai knew this man, this creature or whatever it was, was powerful and a good fighter. However, a God he was not and every passing moment he referred to himself as one; Takai's patience was being worn away. He may be receiving a torrent of abuse from Fulgur and the attacks he was sending Takai's way were bordering on the dangerous; however Takai did not feel he had annoyed Fulgur sufficiently. As long as Fulgur was still able to produce such precise amounts of chakra in each attack, he was not angered enough. Only when he had lost control would Takai be able to cease this flood of abuse. His head was finally facing Fulgur again and after composing himself after the shocks from his miniature blasts of lightning Takai spoke once more; his voice faltered at first, the hit to his neck not only left some bad burns but also seemed to knocked his vocal cords about slightly. "Hmm... Power of a God you say? Hey well, next time I say a God I will let you know what their power feels like shall I? As far as I am concerned, you can bring your extra strength attacks... I'm just warming up" Takai let loose another toothy smile that riled Fulgur even further, the air around his behemoth like body crackled fiercely. It simmered gently as all the power around them festered in it, he was powering himself our an attack up and he was going to wield that power. Takai looked up at the sky and the maelstrom above them was still cackling wildly and bolts of lightning not being controlled by Fulgur stormed down around them. It was but another potential danger the group would have to be aware of, not only did they have to contend with this monster in front of them; but even nature was against them, smaller sized lightning bolts cascaded around the group and Takai watched as the lightning bolts came closer and closer towards his broadsword and he smiled slightly. However, he was distracted from the main threat, the true danger that was coming his way. This time, Fulgur hadn't simply unleashed the power within him upon them, he had invoked the power of the sky. An enormous bolt of lightning crashed in front of Takai and burnt into the ground for several seconds. The heat from the bolt forced Takai to bring a hand to guard his face, but the chaos that was ensuing around them was distracting Takai. From the sky rained another enormous lightning bolt. As it tore down to the Earth and the Sand they stood on, it seemed to rip apart the very sky and come from heaven itself. As if God himself was raining hell down upon them, Takai sighed slightly but chuckled at the same time, this was the power of a God. Slowly his chuckle become a chortle, and the chortle became a full throated laugh; he had stood in front of the power of a God, the power of the God had...missed. What stood in front of them, was by no means a God and was simply some kind of device to absorb the electricity from around the area. It may have had some control over the weather, the ability to summon a storm like it had. However, its power seemed to be limited, not a drop of rain fell as an electric storm seemed to be the only thing Fulgur could muster. As Takai reveled in the revelation that what stood before them was nothing more than an element with minor summoning abilities, his mind slipped from the fact he had come to understand earlier. He may just be an element with limited abilities, but he was strong; very strong. The bolt that seemingly tore the sky apart had struck and on this occasion had hit its mark. It slammed down onto Takai body as it tried desperately to complete the circuit; Takai's body was racked with pain and every second that passed felt like agony to his body. As the lightning stopped and his howls of pain ceased, he could barely see straight and an unending ringing seemed to have taken place in his head. He pulled himself up slowly, resting heavily on his Broadsword as the bolts of inferior lightning rained down. His body smoked and wisps of black smoke rose from his clothes. The back of his top now had a sizable hole in it and his back was clearly visible now. He coughed and from his mouth some blood flew forth. He breathed out heavily and his breath turned to vapour on the cool air around them. As he leant his body on the hilt of the sword he felt its cool embrace run around his body and could hear the hissing as the cool met the insanely hot. Takai released a few short laughs, before the pain of his body kicked in. Everywhere hurt, his back felt as if it were on fire, the areas he had been hit earlier were driving him wild with pain and his eyes were being damaged by this ringing in his head. With great effort, Takai pushed himself up from his broadsword, steadying his feet and staring back at the Golem in his ultimate form, no words were exchanged this time though; Takai simply remained still as he gazed at the monster in front of him. He was truly powerful and Takai felt that had only seen but a glimpse of his true power. He wouldn't be able to combat this creature on his own, he knew this much now. However, could he trust those in his group. Were they capable enough to not screw things up for him? Were they not both from Konoha and Kumo, Takai had slain several of their like at Matsuro, the images of their dead bodies slowly came back into focus as he stared at the two with him. ...That's something I am going to have to think about... "You are still standing eh Iceboy? Even after taking my initial attacks head on one after another...You even remained there and felt the fury of the skies? You are either, incredibly strong Iceboy...Or incredibly, incredibly stupid...I myself am inclined to believe it is the latter...It doesn't matter though, just by looking at you, I can tell you are teetering on the edge of consciousness...Your grip on this world is quickly becoming less and less tangible isn't it Iceboy? Well then, as soon as I am done with the disposal of these pathetic comrades of yours...I will be back to clean up any scraps that are left of you..." The air around Fulgur once again began to crackle, his form the sphere of energy stopped floating about as what could only be deemed as deep concentration took control. The sky above Takai once again roared violently as Fulgur was preparing to do something again, but his focus wasn't on Takai any longer. That being what he meant by disposing of Takai's comrades. Realising this, Takai whipped his hand to his waist, immediately regretting the deciding as his injured body screamed out in pain; he had reached for his flask of water. He pulled the stopper away from it and allowing the chakra in his broadsword to drain away, he threw the water in the flask onto the metal of the sword. He had a decision to make and his two options couldn't have made the situation more difficult. As he remained bent over his hilt with the water slowly dripping down to the sand below, he had to decide to either; attack Fulgur whilst he is most open and risk the lives of those with him. Or make sure those around him survive and leave Fulgur be, and potentially allow it to happen...Takai sighed unhappily and wrenched the sword from the ground and winced as the pain of heaving the sword from the ground racked his body. It already weighed significantly less than a normal broadsword, but at this present time any movement killed Takai. God Dammit!! This is why I don't work with those who I don't know! Kazekage-sama, surely you know this!? How can I let them make their own decisions if I cannot trust them...Like hell I am going to be explaining why the two useless shinobi died... Takai had ran back to Namine and Musou and as he saw Fulgur's concentration slip to somewhere else, he took this as his chance. He thrust his sword up in the air and as the water ran down the blade and dropped onto his face he heard the boom of the thunder and the flash of lightning and then once again felt the familiar feeling of the Lightning wreaking its havoc. The lightning was attracted to the lump of metal pointed up towards the sky, it was dripping with water making it an all too good prospect to pass up. As it crashed down onto his sword, he gave Namine a wink as to tell her everything was fine and then as the lightning crashed down his head lurched backwards and he screamed in pain as the electricity tore through his body...again. Fulgur seemed to be enjoying this, he enjoyed the one he called Iceboy thrusting himself into the thick of the attack for seemingly no reason. It was evident he neither liked nor respected his companions yet he still allowed himself to be hit. The lightning finished and Takai's hands that were once almost gripped to the hilt like a vice now were limp and he and the sword fell to the ground. ...Oh...Fuck...All to save those...Bloody Konoha and Kumo shinobi...More trouble than...Ah...It hurts so...I am going to have to...Deidara was the last time...You remember?... A voice in Takai's head solemnly said. "...Of course..." Takai felt the cool warmth of his Kekkai Genkai's sweet embrace. He felt the cooling of his body and he could see the lightening of his hair as it ran all the to icy white. He felt his body perk up slightly, those joints that ached crazily, now a slight throbbing. However, he soon felt his body unleash it's next true nature onto the world once more. Chakra flared around his slumped body, it seemed to dance on his body, its silver colour ranged from light airy silver to a dark intense silver. However, all of a sudden it stopped and seemed to be sucked into his body. Cracking could be heard and around Takai skin like shards of ice fell from his body and made a beautiful noise as they fell to the ground. Takai wasn't fully healed, but with the aid of some chakra, he was able to reconstitute the worst damaged areas of his body. The internal damage wouldn't be rectified without medical aid, but now he would be able to move about freely, moreover whatever Fulgur threw at him; would have a very undesirable effect on Takai from Fulgur's point of view. Takai pushed himself slowly up with his broadsword, his face, his back, his chest blemish free. The only signs of his attack were the holes and the singe marks upon his clothes. He turned towards Musou and Namine. "...Okay, we need a plan and sooner rather than later...Now any plans to take down what is essentially Lightning...Would be very much appreciated..." "Muahaha, the scuppered leader searches for aid with his weakling compatriots he wouldn't even allow to dodge on their own... Fulgur laughed as the thought made him giddy with joy. "Hey! Don't call them...My compatriots!" |

Musou Jumped left following Namine's insructsion and as the giant lightning blt rained down where he had been he heard Takai scream out in pain. Musou was blown t the side from the immense pwer and his head smacked into a rock on the ground. "Shit...he hit Takai." Musou spent too long looking in the direction of Takai and not heeding his own health, he flew backwards as a bolt hit the kunai pouch he had thrown to his left earlier. Boiling metal flew in Musou's direction burning a red hole into his clothes and searing his flesh, droplets rained down onto his arm and he bent over double cursing and shouting as the flesh burned making pain course down to the bone of his left arm. Musou kept low to the ground keeping himself dwn so that he was less likely to be hit by any lightning. Musou wiped his forehead which was oozing a thick red blood, he tried t get up and his head wanned. He attempted again not aware that a few secnds had passed when he had 'blacked out' without knowing. Musou's legs were know paralysed from being hit whilst he was knocked out, he still managed to stumble onto his feet, he licked his hand it tasted f blood and sand. After spitting ut the foul mix f sand and blood Musou fell over slamming his hands into the ground. "Summning...no jutsu." There was a poof and some smoke filled Musou's lungs, in the haze a large silhouette, dark against the white smoke, stood waiting. It was the figure of a man only larger and slightly more solid, it was made of rock which was the main difference. "Golem, help me up." Musou whispered to the two and a half metre tall giant infront of him. "Yes Master." The golem bent down and pulled Musou up between his forefinger and thumb lifting him like he was merely a mouse. Musou was stuck n the golems head and he looked up to Fulgur smiling. "Fight fire with fire, fight golems with golems, what a rule to live by." Musou then did something he expected no one was, for want of a better word, expecting. He slowly sank into the golem like he was putting on some clothes, he uttered something which got caught in the breeze so nobody heard it. "Earth Release: Inner Decapitation Technique." The golem stood still for a moment and nothing much happened, it's eyes seemed to flicker and some of the fingers twitched. Then it's muth opened only the voice wasnt the luder deeper vice of the golem but Musou's voice which seemed odd when coming out of the golem. "This is my ultimate defense, and a lot of fun. The golems I summon are rock bodies made centuries ago using chakra to mold and animate the rock they run on the rules and orders of the person who uses their chakra to summon them. It's complicated and hard t understand but I now know this. You aren't a god, far from it infact, a human summoned you molding you with chakra and he did a very good job of it." Musou closed the golems mouth and moved forwards, it was slower in the suit because using the golems legs involved cooperatting with the golem and two minds clashed in the golems head but Musou would take over control properly soon enough. "No human could make this. I am a GOD I was asked to protect these caves from all intruders!" "And the person who told you to protect this must have made you, making an inner body of rock and coating it in metal, not how I think gods are made." Musou was almost laughing he had never tried reasoning with a chunk of rock and metal "What do you know about Gods? Nothing, thats what you know. I am a God, I can produce lightning!" "Takai can make ice so...he's not a god he's just an average shinobi...WELL maybe Takai isn't average but he's no god and neither are you!" Fulgur floated to the ground and stood staring at each of the group, Takai was in the middle and Namine on the right of him, Fulgur was standing a few feet away. idaly whispering to himself. Musou looked down to Takai who was wheezing slightly after taking so many hits. "This was my plan, I think I broke his mind...Finding out your not a god must take a lot away from you." |

Namine’s eyes went wide as Takai winked at her. It was the last thing she saw before she was forced backwards and towards the right. Her back slammed against a near by tree before she slid to the ground. She coughed and clutched her chest as she cracked one eye open to look towards Takai and Musou. There were scorch marks here and there marring her skin, and the side of her head was bleeding but Naminé didn’t care. That was nothing compared to the hit Takai had taken. He purposely to the brunt of the attack head on in order to protect her and Musou, she didn’t understand why though especially after his words towards Fulgur. Namine felt sharp teeth dig into her vest and pull her up off the ground. She looked back to see Kouken and smiled a thanks to him. She slowly made her way towards Takai who was only a few feet away from her. She began gathering chakra into her palms, in the background she could hear Musou speaking to Fulgur and knew that this would be the perfect time to help whilst Fulgur was distracted. Her hands moved towards his stomach, that was the first area she had seen him get hit, and by the looks of it...the worst. “Stay still….please…” Blue chakra and water surged in her hands before she pressed them gently against Takai’s wound. She could feel the chakra leaving her and the water stayed around the surface of his wound. She closed her eyes and concentrated a bit harder. Blood from her forehead slid down the side of her face, but she ignored it and continued to heal him. After a few minutes the wound was completely gone and Naminé slowly opened her eyes to look at him. “Teammates or not….Think of it as….a thank you….or a returned favor…if it stayed open any longer than that…it would have gotten worse.” She carefully moved away from him to look at the now seemingly confused Fulgur. She lifted an eyebrow and glanced at Musou, only to stare in awe at…what she thought was Musou. Since…since when could he do that?....But I’ve got to hand it to you….it looks like its working…but for how long? “It’s a good plan Musou…he’s…definitely…out of it…but he wont stay that way for long. Anyone…with some sort of god complex, will eventually snap back into it and defy those around them…for now…we should try to keep it up…but just messing with his brain won’t be enough. We have to find away to hit the orb in the center of his body. I think that’s what’s keeping him running… if we can do that…manage to freeze it, “She paused and looked at Takai, “And then somehow shatter it….I think we could win…though…its easier said then done.” While Fulgur was still contemplating his existence, Namine stopped for a moment to think of a way to make her plan come to life. Suddenly something hit her and a small smile crept its way upon her face. It would be a risk she knew it…but if it worked they could beat him. She turned to the both of them, her eyes darting back and forth before she began to speak. “Here’s what I think we could do.…we keep patronizing him…about not being a god…mess with his head some more…Meanwhile I’ll make a Suiton jutsu and attack him with it…if you could freeze the jutsu Takai….and then Musou could find a way to smash it along with Fulgur-“ Her speech was cut off by the annoying sound of Fulgur’s lightning. He suddenly stopped whispering to himself and turned towards them. Lightning shook the sky with an Imaginable force. If anything…Fulgur was losing his cool, Musou really had gotten to him and now they had to keep it up. She waited for the reply of Takai and Musou. |

OOC: Yeah I really have nothing to say/do so this will be a short one IC: Takai stood still as he felt the chakra swirl on his body and the water that somehow managed to fall upon his body without freezing immediately. Takai watched as she performed whatever she was doing; he stared as she healed the area on his stomach and as he heard what she said Takai broke away from her jutsu. The thought of saying thank you crossed his mind, but the Kumogakure symbol flashed in his head and the previous flashes of the Kumogakure and Konoha symbols on dead bodies, appeared in his mind. Takai turned around and faced Fulgur who was now slowly regaining his composure. "Just do whatever needs doing" |

"Thats fine by me Namine. I can't wait to smash this guy, but it looks like he's past teetering on the edge of insanity and I don't think pushing him over is a good survival stratergy. An insane man is always worse because you just don't know what there going to do." Fulgur turned to look at them and fired off a large blue bolt of lightning towards the heavens, the clouds swirled as fulgur stood hand pointing to the sky still firing the lightning. The wind whipped at Musou as lightning crackled forging a lines across the sky, Musou knew that if he wasn't in the golem he'd have been suffering trouble with standing upright. He grabbed Takai and Namine as the wind picked up stopping them from being blown away. Fulgur stopped firing into the sky and he looked down at the group, Musou had let go of Takai and Namine when the wind dropped. Could a mortal man do this! Fulgur slapped the earth with the palms of his hand cracking the rock slightly, Musou looked around him and cringed slightly. Around the four of them including Fulgur a wall of lightning forked downwards surronding them, Musou almost fell over drawing himself deeper into the golem to escape the sound of lightning booming and singing. He took out some special cloth from a pocket which he used occasionally in training. He stuck this loosly into his ears, they would block out some of the loudest sounds even an explsion would be hard pushed to get through to Musou's ears. Now all he could hear was a dull rumble but this meant he had lost his strongest point and biggest weakness. Kisame was outside the ring of lightning which meant he was safe but Namine and Takai were both inside with Musou and Fulgur. "So whats that plan of yours Namine?" Musou was probably shouting this stupidly loudly but with the lightning it probably didn't matter, it would have been nice to her him shout what he was trying to shout. Musou still didn't even know how he was planning to hear Namine's answer but it seemed best to ask anyway. |

“That’s true!” Namine replied. She began to gather chakra into her finger tips before making hand seals. She was almost done when Fulgur interrupted her. Her hands flew in front of her face to protect herself from the vicious winds. She felt her body being lifted up off the ground and for a moment got scared only to see Musou next to her. She quickly shouted a thank you while clamping her hands over her ears to block some of the sounds. Namine’s eyes went wide at the lightning wall which surrounded them. It reminded her of Ginji’s, only much bigger. Namine shook her head childishly. If she wasn’t afraid of lightning before she sure as hell was now. She kept her hands tightly upon her ears as she began to gather chakra again. Two small bubbles formed over each ear, drowning out most of the hair rising sounds. She looked around quickly; they were completely closed in. At least Kisane was safe outside with Kouken. Namine smirked slightly as she glared up at Fulgur. “I’ve seen it done before…by a sand ninja…and someone I could possibly call a friend…Your no god Fulgur…all things must come to an end.” Fulgur shook furiously; lightning crack through the air, but Namine didn’t care. Out of the corner of Naminés eye she saw Musou move slightly towards her. She looked up at him….is he speaking to me…? She couldn’t tell. How could they possibly talk to each other over the noise? That’s when it hit her; she knew Musou could sense chakra. All he needed to do was follow her jutsu when she gave him some sort of signal. As for Takai, he may not be able to hear her…but he could tell what she was doing. Namine touched the outside of Musou’s golem as if to tell him to wait. Shouting would do nothing at the moment. She then put both hands in front of her and closed her eyes. She took a step forward so she was slightly ahead of Musou and Takai. She began making her hand seals again and when she was finished she whispered to herself. “Suiton: Kokuou no Watatsumi” Suddenly Her right hand shot out to the side of her body as a giant 15 foot Stingray appeared over Naminés head. His long tail was wrapped gently around her body, never once touching her. Namine slowly opened her eyes as Fulgur began to speak. Water! Ha what a laugh…you think that…that thing…could possibly defeat me….such a stupid kunoichi you are. I will- “Urusai! Kokuou no Watatsumi….open your eyes!” Namine called. Suddenly the Stingrays eyes opened as well revealing red irises. They grew, completely covering the white of its eyes. Fulgur’s silhouette shook violently as more lightning struck the sky with unimaginable force. Namine tried her hardest to be unfazed by it, but deep down it still frightened her slightly. She knew he was more mad about the fact that she told him...a "god" to shut up....rather than her stingray. “Kokuou no Watatsumi…aim for his center!” Suddenly the sea king opened its mouth and fired off two large orbs of water. They were slightly smaller than Fulgur’s orb, but effective, and they wouldn’t stop until they hit their target. A few moments later the orbs struck Fulgur’s outline of a body, but they would not penetrate. HAHAHAHAHA foolish girl…you see what I mean….your little water attacks will do nothing to harm a god….If anyone is going to get the worst of all deaths it shall be you for trying to make a mocker- Fulgur’s words were cut off as four more water-like missiles were shot at him. On the last one his lightning conjured body cracked slightly down what looked like the chest area. Namine suddenly whispered something to the stingray, and it opened its mouth again, this time it set off the last four water orbs. The moment the last one was set off the Sea king took off after it. Lightning emanated from Fulgur; he shouted out obscene words as Namines stingray wrapped its body tightly around Fulgur’s body. The lightning pulsed through both Fulgur and Namine’s stingray. She knew the poor thing wouldn’t last much longer so with all her might she shouted out to Takai. “GO! NOW while we have the chance!!” Namine slid to the ground, panting harshly as she clutched her chest. That move took a lot of chakra…but it was necessary in order to defeat Fulgur. She only hoped Takai could freeze her Stingray in time. She would wait patiently before giving Musou a gentle shove to tell him it was time to move. It was time to end this thing. |

I LOVE TO SUCK THOSE TINY ICICLES!

Takai stood still as he watched what had happened, he felt the sharp gust of wind and looked to the Golem that Musou was now residing in. Takai really didn't care about the winds that were tearing their way through the area. They buffeted Takai and even with his broadsword in hand they threatened to lift him off the ground. He felt the cold hand of the Golem clutch at his body and heave him to a safer area. He had placed both Takai and Namine down securely and out of immediate harm, but it seemed as if Fulgur had either got to a more stable mind set, or was now completely insane. Takai could barely see anything that was human of Musou now as he had sunk deeper and deeper in the Golem he had summoned, but what caught his attention was the Kumo shinobi. Every time some lightning cracked through the sky she seemed to recoil, and she created some kind of shield from the sound with some water. Takai focused on Fulgur who had now summoned a wall of lightning around them and Takai chuckled at this. He put a hand out and felt the shocking power of the electricity, no amps though; this wall was simply created for pain. No better than an electrified fence around a field. ...He is becoming desperate...But why hasn't he done anything to stop us yet...A true guardian with his mindset, would stop people by any means necessary...Maybe he thinks he can still defeat us...It is...A possibility... Takai watched as Namine whispered somethings to herself, even if the wind and thunder weren't ripping through the sky and the area around them; He wouldn't have heard her. However within very little time there was a stingray like creature that had formed above her and in front of both her and Musou. Takai stood still silently watching the Stingray, it fired several bolts of water at Fulgur and Takai raised a questioning eyebrow to this tactic; however he eventually saw what she was doing. He flexed his fingers and allowed his chakra to move about, it was harder and the concentration needed to do it was a fair amount more than if he wasn't in this form. He closed his eyes and pictured the chakra in his mind, it was as if every tenketsu it meant it was trying to bring down a dam. He hadn't done this before in this form and this was more taxing than he had envisioned. "GO! NOW while we have the chance!!" He heard her words, but he also saw her clutch her chest after she had performed the jutsu. He couldn't let this fail, this was the best chance they had to take Fulgur down and if she was to potentially lose control of the Stingray; Then their chance would be up. Takai hurried forwards and brought her up from the ground and held her up, she couldn't fall unconscious or lose control. He would have to make sure she was awake, he smiled as he noticed the air between them freeze instantly. She was definitely solely a Suiton user, her control over her chakra could be better though. He lifted her up and supported her as the Stingray came closer to its target, he looked at her eyes and they were a curious colour; they were the strangest shade of purple that seemed to change and dance about. They were not this colour the first time he saw her, they were blue then, but then again she also didn't give out water vapour like this either. Ah, the realisation hit Takai, a Kekkai Genkai. He laughed as he realised how different they were to his own, his were as white as snow as was his previously black hair. He tore himself away from the mesmerising eyes and realised he only had a few moments left, now. He wouldn't be able to freeze the whole Stingray fast enough now. "Teme..." He closed his eyes once more and held his right arm out in front of him; his left arm was currently busy holding Namine up, he felt the chakra break down the dams in its way. It reached his hand, whilst in this form handseals were no longer necessary for jutsus. His control over his chakra at the moment was awful and he released far too much than what was needed. He muttered one word under his breath. "Hyouryuudan...", from his hand sprung forth a dragon that twisted through the air as it rushed from his palm. It was the jutsu that Zabuza had helped him with, but it was a more wild unruly version. It was far stronger than the normal version; however to control it was even harder. It glided forwards shining as the lightning cracked through the air, Takai couldn't simply freeze the Stingray he knew he wouldn't be able to do it fast enough. However the dragon made from ice was easily his fastest and one of his coldest jutsus. ...Don't break the Stingray up...Freeze it and move with it...Don't destroy it... The dragon still twisted through the air and as its tail of ice flicked away from his hand he felt the chakra drain from his body. He gasped as it finally left his body and he realised just how much he had used, he steeled himself though. He had to keep control of the dragon; if it was to go wrong and turn on its course. He didn't know if he would be able to dodge as well as keeping Namine safe. The Dragon kept on its course though and with seconds before the Stingray met Fulgur the Dragon shot into it. It froze the Stingray, but now instead of the normal sort of Stingray, it's head was changed, the jaws and snout of the snarling dragon replaced it, and its completely red eyes now had a deep golden iris and pupil. It's wings poked out and its tail seemed to meld with the Stingray's and the hand was spiked like the Dragon's own tail. The speed at which the two met propelled it forward. "Hehehe..." Takai laughed as he saw what was going to happen, he could see the Dragon snapping its jaws wildly and its tailed flailed about crazily. The Stingray and Dragon met the barrier around Fulgur and smashed through it easily, the Dragon's snapping jaws now were firmly shut tight. The two creatures flew through Fulgur and as they came to the ball of energy, the snout of the dragon smashed through it and the wings of the Stingray blew the shards in every direction. As they broke out through the other side of Fulgur, the body of the Golem stopped moving, it didn't speak a word or make a noise. The Golem was defeated and as Takai came to know this, he waved the dragon away and it along with the Stingray was dispersed into the air around them. "Heh...God my ass..." However as Takai uttered these words and turned his back on Fulgur to see if Namine was alright, the shards of what was once the ball of energy in Fulgur slowly crawled back to each other. The pieces slowly gathered into a cracked ball, it floated up shakily once more and the noise that came from behind Takai was bad. "...Hehe...You think...You three pitiful mortals can stand against ME!?" ...Ah...He's gone crazy...great... "Now...Now...You shall never leave this place...You will take your places with these fools...No one shall ever enter this place, not after I am finished..." Fulgur had gathered himself together again, but his form was greatly unstable. He wobbled as he remained still, but the power he was emitting was even stronger than before. He looked over to Musou and saw how he was still safely in that Golem armour of his, the lightning wouldn't be affecting him in anyway. He was safe no matter what was happening, he would maybe feel a slight shock, but nothing compared to Takai and Namine if they were caught in whatever was about to happen. Fulgur raised his arms up and from the sky two sharp bolts of lightning crashed down and ran through his body. He was powering up, or storing energy or something. Takai didn't waste anytime, he knew that something was going to happen. He looked backwards and saw that Kisane was still a good distance away from the group. He looked towards Musou and tried his best to indicate that he should get as deep inside the Golem as he could. Takai saw him do so and slowly the rock body rooted itself to the ground and the area where Musou had been was blocked off by rock and he seemed safe enough. However he and Namine were now the problem, Namine wasn't in a good enough condition at the moment and she seemed pretty drained from the fight. His thoughts were cut short as the laughter of Fulgur echoed around them and he saw the lightning spark between his hands. The bolt of lightning was heading directly for them, with no time to think, Takai muttered, "[Hyouton] Hitoya Toku" Around Takai and Namine formed a dome of ice about a foot thick, it was see through so Takai could see what was going in; however he obscured Namine's view of the lightning, it was quiet in here so the thunder wouldn't affect her, but he remembered her frailty when she saw the lightning previously. Takai stopped in his tracks as he felt the lightning on the outside of the dome become stronger and stronger. Whatever Fulgur was doing, it was now a battle of attrition between he and Takai; and Takai knew that he wouldn't be able to keep this up much longer. This form wasn't designed for this kind of punishment, Fulgur was becoming increasingly aggravated though, he felt the strength of the attack spike dangerously. He felt the dome crack on the main point of the attack. He looked to Namine who he had to put down and said, "that Suna nin...You mentioned..."The concentration that protecting the two of them took was obvious as he spoke. "His name was Ginji wasn't it...He's my student...And well I guess, teacher like student..." Takai put his left arm out in front of him and around his hand some silver lightning crackled and ran up and down his arm. "Now, I am going to let go of this...And you'll be safe...But remember Kumo Nin...You owe me" The dome of ice began to shrink around them and Takai moved to the side and phased out of the dome of ice. It was now a lot smaller as it was simply being used to protect Namine now. He made the ice opaque now and you couldn't see in or out of the dome of ice; he turned to Fulgur and like his other jutsus he only muttered the name and the jutsu was formed. "...Raiton Kougake..." Around his left hand had formed the lightning and it crept up and down his arm licking at his shoulders. He looked up and noticed the lightning converging more around his point in the sky. In his palm a small ball of bright silver was being formed, Takai pushed his left arm forward and it shot out towards Fulgur. It hit the Golem and he turned and stopped his attack on Namine and eyed Takai. "You...Iceboy...H--how...Can you use Raiton..." Takai laughed and as he did so he coughed slightly. The smoke coming from the burnt ground around them, was not doing Takai any good. "Well, I'd try to explain it...But a lesser being like you...Wouldn't understand it..." Fulgur no longer had time for words, he was crumbling at the seams. Not only has his mind been broken, but the damage they had caused also was taking its toll on the Golem. No matter was going to happen, the Golem was not going to survive what was coming next and Fulgur thought that no one else would survive it either. Fulgur stopped taking in the power from the skies, and as he did so Takai felt a drop of rain fall on his head. The water from the sky was a welcome change from the lightning and thunder that raked through the sky previously. ...Her Kekkai Genkai perhaps...Stranger things have happened Takai looked at his own hands, his right hand was covered with frost and had a layer of solid ice that protected it all the way up to his shoulder (think like Chad) and the same could be said of his left arm, but instead of Ice in its place was Lightning. However, his existence and his abilities were nothing of his concern now, Fulgur had stopped moving and was silent now. Takai felt the air become more still and the wind was blowing forwards to Fulgur. Small bits of sand also moved towards the Golem and the sphere in the centre of him was gorging on all this. His body made of lightning shrunk smaller and smaller and fell into the sphere as well. But then nothing, everything went still and everything went silent, it was as if Fulgur had drawn the life out of everything. "...You are all...Going to die...I was placed here as the Guardian of this Cave...I will perform my last duty to those that posted me here...You are going to die Iceboy...The wolf, the boy, the rock boy and the one you tried so hard to protect with your pitiful Ice...You all will die...Hahahaha" Fulgur cackled wildly as the ball of energy shook violently and the cracks shone brightly. Then all of a sudden the ball of energy broke and the area was flooded in bright light, Takai couldn't see but he pushed his left arm outwards and supported it with his right arm. Rain was pouring down now and fell on his left arm and the lightning crackled as it did, it fell on his right arm and dripped down and the water built up at his elbow making his right arm the perfect support for his arm. As the blinding light faded, his eyes bore witness to possibly the most terrifying sight of his life. A leopard like shape darted towards him, its fangs had electricity jumping from each one. It snarled and swiped as it ran through the air and was growing increasingly angry as it tried to move away from Takai, but something kept drawing it towards him. ...It's the kind of thing, that will be able to attack more than once...It would decimate us one by one...I can't let that happen... The Leopard boomed wildly, and the sound of thunder pierced Takai's ears; however he still kept his arm in front of him and fully supported. The leopard was not far from his body now at all and was within 5 feet of Takai; it still seemed to bear the thoughts that Fulgur did, as it realised it wasn't able to get away from Takai due to his jutsu, the leopard decided if he couldn't kill them all. He would go for Takai and make sure he died. The leopard jumped forwards and Takai remained resolute, but as he felt the electricity nip at his face, he couldn't help but turn his head away slightly. As the Leopard met his hand and crashed into Takai's body, a huge boom of Thunder echoed around the area and a blinding flash hugged the area like a blanket. As the Thunder reached its climax a huge energy was released and it bathed the entire place in electricity. Takai was thrust back and collided with the dome of ice he was using to protect Namine. "Hehe...Oh that burns..." Takai looked down to his left arm which was now void of any material covering it and up and down his ams were streaks of black; burns from the lightning. He smelt burning and looked down at his hand and saw the damage caused. His whole arm and a sizable part of his chest was damaged badly; however he couldn't feel it. Takai produced a faltering smile, the last thing Fulgur had done to Takai, was take away the pain of the attack. He had damaged his arm so badly the nerves in his arm were fried. However he could feel the pain on his chest, which he was at least partly happy about. He was leant slightly against the small dome of ice, which had a large crack in it where he had slammed into it. He laid his head back against the dome of ice and sighed. He felt the support of the dome of ice fail and fell to the ground. He forgot that he was the one keeping the dome supported. "....Ow" |
