Jin held the door open as much as possible. He muscels we starting to pull and it seemed like it was falling to the cold floor quicker evenry moment. His feet were digging into the hard ground putting a lot of the weight and pressure of himself and the door to the ground. Jin looked to his right at Tenma and on his left Ryu who were also struggling. From behind Jin heard a faint noise of breathing and foot steps getting louder. He could only think one thing: Vldorian! It was only a matter of time before the door was almost at closing and Jin, Tenma and Ryu were on the wrong side. Knowing this Jin gripped the edge of the slab and slid under turning and began to lift up once again. Soon he noticed that Tenma was on the other side with him. From the bottom of his eyes Jin saw a shadowy figure pass through the narrow space between the door and the ground.

Jin wasnt sure who it was, but the massive door closed right after took his hands out from underneath. He counted how many people were across in his mind. It only came out to three. He turned his head to the right looking at the man who had go through the door at the last second. After turning his whole body with his head he knew that face. It was now familiar to him. It was Vldorian. Jin took a full spin looknig for Ryu not even noticing the sounds of Vldorian and possibly Tenma. He himself was even breathing heavy. Ryu was left on the other side of the room. Even though he was able to get out from there it was still a loss. Jin pounded the slab of rock with his fist.

Damnit. ... Thank you Ryu. Maybe without you we would not have gotten this far, but it seems like its time for us to move on without you.

Jin turned putting that behind him quckly because he barely even knew Ryu. Taking a moment to breath he heard Vldorian get up as Tenma's feet walking again. It was time to move on. Jin took a step back turning begining to walk again. The next part was a mystery. Possibly a trap, an enemy, the other groups, or even freedom.

Jin walked the path behind Vldorian was usual, although with every few feetit seemed the tempature would get a little colder. By the time they were at the next room Jin was begining to shiver. He couldnt feel bad though because Vldorian was sitting there in wet cloths. Cloths that were going to freeze him to death if they were not to get past this room quickly.

Jin took a step right after Vldorian stopped peering into the frosty room. At this point he could not use any chakra not even if he were summon all of it at once. What he heard was exactly true. From looking at the room he saw a floor of ice. He could not tell how thin it was, but it was for certin it wasnt not thick enough for a good amount of weight. Jin wanted to test it by forced a spot down but the surrounding areas would become weaker. He looked around seeing what their first move might be.

Each step forward seemed odder and odder. He wasn't sure what it was, but something was different. Tenma had never truly felt cold except for two times. The first time was a result of Takai's ice abilities; notably, his ice kunai, which forever left a scar on his left bicep, like the cracking of ice. The second time was after his use of the Second Level of the Cursed Seal. He'd never felt so much bitterness and lonliness within. Orochimaru's experiments truly were oddities. However, the ice kunai incident had taken place over three years ago and he could not even recall Takai anymore. However, the Cursed Seal's feeling was more mental and psychological than physical. The plain truth was that Tenma was around his own fire and heat so much that he'd never grown accustom to cold weather. He could barely trace it because of the Ryuujin's bond with him. This coldness resembled something strongly though and he was not sure what it was. Slowly, slowly, an odd chill ran through his spine. He couldn't tell what it was till he seemed to breath out steam. No, it was because of the coldness of the air! Soft crunching below his feet caught his attention as he noticed a white powder on the ground.

S.......... snow?

Tenma looked up, his eyes remaining dull and apathetic, but his mind jumping. It was ice! The sight before him resembled an ice cave so much. Almost like crystal, icicles hung down from the ceiling and from the ground like stalactites and stalagmites respectively. However, the icicle stalagmites jutted out from the side of the cave. Directly in their path was an iced lake-like surface. Tenma's mind immediately came to the conclusion that these were sub-zero temperatures. They had to get through this right now or they'd immediately die from the cold, especially Vldorian. Tenma looked to the icicles, but rejected his thoughts immediately.

Probably too cold to touch... and I doubt my trench coat will do much to help me here... hmph...

Buckling up his trench coat regardless, he took a step forward, immediately pulling back as the icy surface shook violently. Tenma's eyes caught sight of something odd. Red writing appeared on the surface of the ice!

Even Poseidon could not pose a larger threat than I.
I have advanced beyond even the mighty powers of water.
None shall pass my icy domain. Your souls shall remain frozen for eternity.

The red writing suddenly changed to a yellow, then blue shade, shattering as the ice began to crack.

Thin ice?!

Tenma took a glance not at Vldorian, but in his general direction. Vldorian was naturally heavy. He'd easily crack the ice if he stood in place too long. He was in poor condition as it was and his speed would be hindered. It was every man for himself now. If someone stopped to help another, they would surely crack the ice in the pressure. Tenma did not plan on losing anyone, nor the mission. He pulled out three strands of wire. Tenma was known for his skill with wire. He could wrap it around anything with little difficulty. If someone fell, he'd try to pull them up with the wire. If he could not, it was still every man for himself. They could not wait. One moment's hesitation to help another would result in both his death... and yours. The ice was already melting and giving in.

Vldorian ripped off his frozen shirt and was now bare skin, he knew from his years in the snow country that he would die faster with a frozen shirt on. (WOOT got his shirt off :D ) The ice was cracking and from his experience, it would only be a couple minutes before all the ice was gone. He stuck his hand into the room as he saw Tenma put his foot on the ice, the cold felt like hundreds of knifes stabbing into his skin.

“I would suggest that we stay closer to the edges were the ice is strongest and apart from each other, we need to spread our weight out, sound can help find where the ice is weakest.”

He did not have to say exact edge, he hoped, sense there were spikes jutting out of the sides of the wall. Sounds would come from the cracking ice. His body had experienced pain in this form many times but this was on a level far above any snowstorm in the high mounts of the Snow country. Many thoughts ran threw his head that moved his nerve and made him want to walk away from this room and go no further. He was calmed his nerves and was ready for when Tenma and Jin were ready. They all had to hurry.

OOC sorry it took so long to post, couldn't think of anything and it's a bad post either way :P

Jin started to chatter his teeth looking around at the ice's edges. As Vldorian said their wight distruption was essitental to getting past this. Time was ticking and they needed to talk to each other in order not to mess up and send each other falling into the pit of spikes. Jin couldnt think of much to do, but did think of a formation. a triangle. With the formation of a trianlge they could be far enough apart to not endarger each other and far enough from the edges. If they moved in harmony Jin thought it could work. It was the question of what do to after one was off and safe. Jin had to say it quickly becasue he saw Tenma's foot stepping on the ice. It was somewhat a relif that Ryu wasnt there. Another person would make it that much more danergous.

" How about a triangle? Then we run in that formation until one gets off of the ice, which i think Vldorian sohlud go first since he is the biggest. So he would be the tip of the trianlge cloest to the door. Then once hes off one of the two left take is spot in the trianlge and then the last one on the ice follow behind"

It was The best Jin could think off. Vldorian needed to get out of this room as quickly as possible. It was only minutes until he could die. Even sooner for the ice to get thinner and eventually melt.

Tenma gave a small nod of agreement to the tactic. It was nothing special, but it would do for now. They had no choice. They had to be as far away from each other as possible if they planned on not breaking the ice instantly. The spacing that Jin suggested was fine as well. However, staying close to the edge was risky. If they slipped, they could accidently fall into the direction of the icicle stalagmites. If that happened, crystal white wouldn't be the only color to remain in this cave. The idea of running was risky as well. If they ran, the chance of slipping on the thin ice would increase. They had to be extremely careful, but not slow either. Tenma stepped to the right end of the icy road, leaving Vldorian to the middle and Jin for the left. If anyone fell through, Tenma could use the wire with his left hand, which was his dominant hand. Putting the wire in said hand, he had to let Vldorian go on first. He had to get through it first.

The minute he hits the other end, he better haul his ass through that open door and out of this cave. If he stops to watch us, he'll be left in the cold waiting and could risk the chance of death.

Already the sheer cold was taking a toll on even Tenma. He could just barely stand it due to his body's natural heat, but even that was going now as diffusion began to take place. Waiting rather impatiently for Vldorian to get moving, he would move on after Vldorian was ten feet ahead of him. Awaiting this moment, the area suddenly took a violent turn as the entire ice cave began shaking tremendously, a few icicles falling from above and impaling the thin ice.

Tremors? An earthquake... no... it must be something worse... did I misread something in the documents... we have to keep moving...

After listening to Jin and seeing that both of them were ready Vldorian started to walk forward. The ice was slicker then regular ice, which just added to their troubles, they had to walk slower not to slip. Slowing them down yes but if one of them were to slip going fast that could and most likely would mean death. Then a tremor went threw the room and several spikes fell from the ceiling.

“This place is a predator and is efficient at killing its pray.”

He kept walking and he was twelve feet onto the ice before the first chunk of ice broke off in his path. He almost lost his balance but was able to flip forward and to the side. His hands griped onto the jagged edges where the ice just broke, cutting into his hands. A yell of pain went threw his mind as this happen and he forced himself to hold on and slowly set his feet on the ground. His body was starting to go numb now and his mind had to push his body forward.

“Must move forward…”

He kept saying this to himself as his body started to shake and hoped not to many more pieces of the ice broke off in front of him, even with listening to the cracks of the ice their was only so much he could predict and his reaction time was slowing greatly. The water on his body was frozen causing even greater damage to his body and blisters were forming on his hands where he grabbed the ice. All this was in the back of his mind though he had to move forward.

OOC dem you can say the next tremor comes or jin whatever.

Jin took a step forward as he focused his attention towards Tenma giving anther nod to a plan of his. Although this wasnt much of a plan just a formation that would suit the situtation. Jin waited as Vlodiran stepped on to the ice and began to march to the other side for the door. Jin was getting ready to move foward when the tremor hit. It caught him off guard causing him to loose his balance. After the tremor was nearly finished Jin took a step back from the ice afriad he was going to fall on the ice and break it. He regained his balance and looked head at Vldoiran. The ice had broken and he had gotten out of the way in time. It was a little relif, but the worst was yet to come and it seemed like all three of them knew it.

Great the ice has broken. That just made it worse. We can not get close to the edges Vldorian or that gap of ice. Its so cold.

After noticing how cold it was again, Jin looked down at his hands. They were turning purple and it spreading down to his wrists and forearm. It was getting to the point where they had to make a little rush to this for everyone exspecially Vldorian.

He began to walk left trying to by some time for Vldorian to get a little further .Jin was stepping on to the ice after Vldorian pressed on. He began to walk to the dorr staying as far from the edge as possible. He felt a small termor building as he walked.

shit

Tenma closed his eyes for a second as he awaited the end of the tremor, the violent shaking coming to a slow and gradual end. However, it did not completely stop. The entire place was now shaking, only lightly, but still shaking. It wasn't just their room though. It felt large-scale. It was almost like they were feeling the earth rotate through a crevice. Tenma took a small step forward, nearly slipping upon contact. Quickly regaining his balance, he didn't expect it to be so slippery. He was, for once, actually glad his chakra was being supressed. With his natural internal heat, the ice would have started melting even faster. Tenma didn't plan on risking anything anymore though. A sudden thought came to his mind. Tenma looked to Jin and moved a little further ahead so Jin would see him. As soon as Jin looked, Tenma tossed two kunais at him, a wire attached to each kunai. It was a gentle throw. He wasn't trying to kill Jin here. Tenma pulled out two more kunai, tying wire to it as he clashed the kunais together to get Vldorian's attention. Tossing both kunais at Vldorian in the same manner, he then pulled out another two kunais, tying his own set of wire to it. He did not know Jin or Vldorian's skill with wire, but Tenma certainly had an affinity to it. Holding the kunais, he suddenly whipped his wire to both ends of the ice cave, the wire skillfully wrapping around two icicle stalagmites.

The ice is cold enough. The wire will stick to the stalagmites hopefully. That way, if we fall through the thin ice, we can use the kunai and wire to pull ourselves back up. That's why I'm holding the kunais. We can get a solid hold on them better than wire. Since the kunais are attached to the wire, we can just use that to pull ourselves back up and not risk losing grip of the near-invisible wire.

It wasn't fool proof, but it was better than their current situation. The other two could either do the same as Tenma, use another method, or do neither for all Tenma cared. But it was Tenma's responsibility to get the group through safely.

“Clank, Clank”

Vldorian turned as he heard kunai clicking together and caught the two Tenma had thrown at him. He saw what Tenma had done and then turned his attention back to in front of him. He had some experience with wire so it was not hard for him to throw wire. He threw one of the wire and it wrapped around a stalactites. That is when another tremor took hold of the room, it stock the room making several dagger like stalactites fall. All but one missed the ice, which was lucky for them but the one that did not miss hit close to Vldorian. It took out a good chunk of ice next to Vldorian and loosing his balance he fell in. The one wire he had thrown snapped tight as it held him their, one foot was still on the ice. He quickly whipped the wire in his other hand forward making it wrap around another stalactite. With his one foot and the wire he pulled himself back up onto the ice. He slowly stood up after getting back on the ice and started to move forward.

His reaction time came as a surprise to himself due to how slow his muscles were working due to the cold. His upper body was badly damaged from the cold, and his lower body was worse. The water was freezing his legs and having no shirt on was freezing his skin and it was starting to turn black at some places. He was lucky though and reached the other side with no other incident. His foot hit solid firm ground and he got ready to put all his energy into his legs and push himself to run threw the door way and keep going.

Jin kept walking striaght to the other end of the room. He didnt think much of Tenma walking ahead of him. Not until he say a hand gesture. Looking to his right he saw kunai's coming at him. By the throw it was ment for Jin, but he wasnt sure why at first. He was a bit puzzled but caught it. Upon catching the kunai the wire fell down resting on Jin's hands and wrist. It was then he figured he wanted the wire for somthing. Still unsure of what to do he looked back at Tenma who had been wrapping the wire around a stalagmite on the ceiling.

This was a bit of a problem for Jin. He could feel the tremor build and he was horrible with wire. He wasnt good with wepons really. Even so he tried wrapping it onto the icicle on the ceiling. His fist attemp was horrible missing by far, but the second time was a bit of relif. It was on his third try that he finally got the wire to wrap on the stalagmites. He began to tie it around his waist clothing unable to feel his finger from the cold making it a little harder.

He finally focused infront of him when the stalagmites fell making some noise infront of him. He began to walk a little faster to catch up to Tenma. With every step his feet would slip a little. This made Jin realize how fast the ice was really melting. Him and Tenma were only about seven or eight feet from where they began and another two or three feet from where the ice broke infront of Vldorian. He wasnt sure how well the ice would hold up with pressure on each side of it. As he walked by he noticed the sound of craking ice from where it had broken. It was on a path diagonally between Vldorian and Tenma. Although it didnt seem anything to worry about stopping about a foot out.

15 feet in about 20 or 30 to go. Lets just hope this goes rather easy
