Nevets looked at all of the others, memorizing their attributes (sp?) and names by face. Nevets looked to Kisuke finally. The ninja who was leading this ragtag group didn't even give a name. "I trust we'll get at least a name after we're all introduced." Nevets said to himself, he wasn't paying attention to Ike's words. Then looking up Nevets said. "I'm Nevets Edakumi...My kekkei genkai makes me create chakra powered ink out of my pores. It's not like any ol' quill ink either. By adding chakra into the ink I can make it move, form into a solid weapon, turn into seals and do different abilities with it, even make it like a sticky field. I prefer to use my ninjutsu over everything and I don't like being demeaned..." Nevets then looked at Ike and Saki who seemed to not like him a lot. He turned his attention bakc to Kisuke and sat down looking at him. Nevets wanted to know what their leaders abilities were. |

Kisuke nodded at each comment regarding their abilities and traits. He noticed that they forgot to include their ranks, but it seemed that that was unnecessary. He had already charted their order of strength himself so if a battle ensued, he knew where to place who and when. "All you need to know is that my name is Kisuke, and I'm strong in taijutsu. Now I believe we're all well rested and acquainted, let's move on inside the cave and see exactly what we're dealing with. We're like the guinea pigs in this experiment, but at the same time that means that we'll get to experience all of the fun before everyone else does." Kisuke stood up and headed towards the open door, stopping before entry. He adjusted his headset and its frequency so that he made sure all 5 other teams would hear him before he proceeded with his intended message. "This is Team Green-1, we're rested and prepared for whatever lies within this building. We'll keep you posted as we walk through the cave and tell you exactly what we find." Kisuke then set the frequency back to normal so he could save power and went into the cave. He didn't know how long they'd be in there and knew that it was necessary to have a backup plan in case something happened. Summary: Kisuke introduced himself, announced their entry then entered the cave. |

Ike sighed and listened to the two remaining members of the group. Once they had both finished, he finally found out the name of the powerful Cloud shinobi. He smirked and stood up as Kisuke did and walked behind him to the ancient door. Hmm…a fine antiquity… Ike nodded to himself before he realised he wasn’t an antiques dealer and was indeed a shinobi. The door depicted a giant golem rising from the soil with what seemed to be people bowing to him. Ike smiled, no wonder the Golem thought he was a god. The door creaked open and Ike looked over Kisuke’s shoulder to see nothing but darkness. At least he had a jutsu that could help him in this situation, his Omoi Sansui jutsu. By spreading out his Jurei energy he would be able to see anything…in black and white at least. |

Listening to Kisuke's introduction, Nevets watched him in awe. The jounin was powerful and probably respected by everyone in cloud. He'd never been in a group with a powerful jounin before. Nevets looked beyond the door into the darkness. Turning to Kisuke Ike and Saki, Nevets thought for a bit then turned back to the darkness. Cold wind burst through and Nevets closeed his eyes to not burn his eyes. "So how we gonna aproach this? Anyone got some kind of light jutsu or something?" Nevets asked. Thinking back he didn't remember anyone using a light jutsu or a brightening jutsu. Nevets then turned back to the rock he was at. Their real mission had started, once they went through that door there was no turning back. I must prove myself to the others. Nevets went back to the remains of Ganishka and picked up his lifeless head. Pulling out his small storage sack, Nevets put the head in as a sort of trophy. When dead his head was like a large stone. |

OOC: Raive and I will be taking over while Kisuke is unable to post. IC: Kisuke stepped into the darkness of the cave, keeping to himself for a second as he listened intently for any sounds. Kisuke closed his eyes for a brief second; he could not hear a thing. It was dead quiet for what seemed like miles on end. He attempted to apply chakra to his senses. Maybe, just maybe, he could hear or smell something up ahead to give him the advantage of prior knowledge. If he knew something about what they were to face, then maybe he could take on the next challenge with less difficulty. Still, he couldn't hear anything. It was just like before. He tried once more; still nothing! Something was wrong. He attemped to exert more chakra. His eyes widened slightly. Chakra suppression? What's going on here... the reports indicated strange oddities about this place, but nothing like this... how very odd. We will need to approach this with more caution than ever. Without chakra, we're but mere humans. "Stay close all of you... I'm sure even the genin and you chuunins can feel something odd with your chakra systems now. Without it, we're much more vulnerable. Our weapons are our ninja tools and more importantly, our smarts. If need be, retreat. Life is more precious than a mission... but if possible, try to accomplish both." The cave was nearing an end, the darkness of the cave slowly fading away as light began to shine through. Kisuke stepped through the cave as he found himself in a fairly small room, about fifteen feet by fifteen feet. The walls were lined with indents, similar to rock climbing indents. On the ceiling was a box, lnot long enough to stand straight, and small enough width-wise for force the person to squeeze themselves tightly in the box. The outer lining of the box was covered in every inch by deathly sharp spikes. At the very top of the box was a switch. Kisuke stared at the button for a second, then looking straight ahead. A door! That was most likely what the button would effect; the locks in the door. However, those spikes were giving Kisuke second thoughts. Kisuke had no idea what they would do, though he had a very obvious prediction. Turning on his headset and adjusting it accordingly, he spoke loud and clear. "This is head of the Green Team. We've reached our first destination... it's not very easy to describe though... no enemies in sight, but it seems... like a mind-game of sorts. I'll update my information when I find out more. Over and out." Kisuke turned to his group, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. Inhaling deeply, he found it very easy to calm his nerves once again. He had to think straight for this. Turning away from his group, he walked to the door, tapping it down for a second, trying to find a key or a trigger to open it. Stepping back, he paused for a second as he took another deep breath from his cigarette. Suddenly, he lunged forward, sending a strong, vicious punch to the door. The sound echoed out of the room... but the door stood firm. After a few seconds, he spoke. "This is no doubt going to be risky. I don't know what will happen when we hit that button, but we probably have no choice. That door will not budge till that button's hit... any takers?" OOC: Spike Trap In the room, there are four walls, a sealed door, and a box connected to the ceiling, with only four walls, not five, covered with spikes. The one side open is for the person chosen to climb the ceiling the finger holes made (Like rock climbing). Once in the box, he/she will climb in far enough to press a switch, and once they do, the wall will come out of the ceiling and close the box. When closed, the spikes will reverse. Then stabbing into the person, after one minute, the spikes will retract and the box will break open, from all sides, dropping the person. The door is opened as soon as the switch is struck. |

Ike followed Kisuke. He closed his eyes and focused his Jurei energy, although it was weak this time. He wondered if he had used up more chakra than he actually thought against that giant golem monster. Maybe he was running really low on chakra and he just couldn’t notice. Omoi Sansui! Ike let out all the Jurei energy and closed his eyes. He saw the outline of Kisuke and…that was it. The jutsu disappeared before it could even get past Kisuke who was only about 3 or 4 inches in front of him because of the tight cave. Could it be the special quality of the air they were breathing in? Orochimaru had told both Ike and Saki of the dangers of this place, and of the secrets it held. Ike walked forward, he was annoyed that without his chakra, he was just a normal human being, although being equipped with a broadsword would help a little at least. He followed Kisuke till they reached a room that was relatively small. Ike noticed the box at the top of the room, with spikes that were sticking out of it. Ike couldn’t believe the relatively simple plan that the trap used, but it was rather effective all the same. Obviously something bad would happen once they touched the switch, and the only way to stop it was to fit inside the box and touch another switch. The spikes on the outside of the box were not just for decoration, it appeared to Ike that they would turn in on themselves and stab the person inside the box once the switch was touched. As Kisuke asked his question Ike winced. He hoped someone else would do it, maybe the Ink boy since he wanted to prove himself during the fight against Ganishka. Even though his arm was battered and bruised from the fight with the golem, he had a sort of phobia against sharp things sticking into him without notice. He took a step back before looking to the box once again. They hadn’t triggered whatever it was so they were safe for now, but sooner or later they would have to make a decision. |

Nevets watched Kisue make his way through and followed behind the two. He was the third to get in. Nevets looked at the other ninja and then up at the black box. Looking around the room there were al spikes. The fifth wall had rock climbing stuff. Without chakra they were just humans. Luckily for Nevets he was a better human than a ninja (a fanfic i'm working on, takes place before this apparently). Bad thing, Nevets was horrible at regular climbing. "Sorry can't do it." Nevets put both of his hands high in the air. Turning to the door he looked at the spikes and used a metal bar to break one off of the all. "If this works I'll laugh..." Nevets muttered then took the spike and threw it up high. The spike didn't even make it to the button. Right before the button the spike came right back down. Everyone backed away from the area and the spike hit the ground. "Okay that...didn't work. Any takers at doing it the painful way?" Nevets asked turning to the others. |

OOC: Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of days. My monitor was completely screwed up so although I could turn the computer on I couldn't see anything. But I got a new monitor so problem solved. Sorry again. ------------------------ Saki had stayed at the back of the group, and when everything went dark he did seals attempting to use Hitoke no Aku. His hearing enhanced for a mere mili-second and then the chakra dispersed, and when he tried to use it again it wouldn't come. Saki began to get frustrated and concentrated on making a spike grow out of his palm............nothing happened. What the hell is going on? I can't use my bloodline, my jutsu, I can't even focus my chakra into my sword. But it seems the others can do nothing as well, so it's not only me. I feel more helpless now then when I was a genin, we are all but mere humans now.......... Saki continued walking forward, the last to step into the light filled room. When he stepped in everyone was looking at the box on the roof, spikes sticking out every which way. The others spoke and Saki sighed when nobody would risk their lives to open a door. He couldn't blame them, but if no one else was gonna do it then the job was left up to him. Saki closed his eyes, centering himself to the world around him. "I'll do it.............." ------------------------- OOC: Edited. I was confused about the chakra part as I told Hero, I thought it was just heavily disrupted so it would be incredibly hard to use jutsu but now I get it so yeah hope this is okay. |

Kisuke nodded to Saki, giving Ike and Nevets a quick glance before turning away, walking directly under the spike trap. Saki was the only one man enough to go for the task. Kisuke wasn't complaining. He was glad someone else was going for it. It was probably in the group's best interests for someone to do this task who could handle such stress and still keep going. Nevets was still learning and a bit ill-experienced. Ike and Saki were just right for the first tasks. They could take a hit and keep going, at least in a haphazard condition if not a fair one. Saki also had experience with spikes, but it usually came to his benefit, not his disadvantage. All in all, Saki was the best choice for this task. I can't volunteer myself just yet. Who knows what lies ahead. I am the main lifeline of this group. If I go down from a possible fatal hit, this group won't last a minute in their condition. That golem did a number on them. Kisuke turned to Saki as he nodded once more. The function of this trap was still unknown. For all they knew, the spikes could come shooting out for Kisuke and the group. The box could permanently shut Saki in and not let him out. Or the most predictable event was that the spikes would reverse and stab Saki all over his body. All they could do was watch and hope the door would open and hope that Saki would be freed. A loss of a teammate would really harm the group. |

Nevets watched Saki bravely volunteer for this 'trap'. Nevets would have done it but he had a fear of hights, and spikes, and closed space...and dieing... "Umm...anyway....good luck Saki..." Nevets said getting out of his own fantasy of his life being narrorated in the third person. Nevets looked around. The function of this contraption was unknown. Once that button was pressed anything could happen, so Nevets being cautious stood next to Kisuke and Ike. I wonder...if we do get out of this place...than what will the next task be? Nevets re-examined the room. The situation was extreme, any one of these traps could kill any one of them. Nevets then remembered a situation similar like this in a movie. Ninja Saw II... OOC: Okay this was more comedic for me I just needed to fill in the blanks for the post. srry if i piss anyone off. |
