In all the world there was but one blackened spot that cried out with a vengeful lust for attention. This area, this corrupted village, was lead by an even darker being. Orochimaru, sound kage, sat on his throne with an unusually cheerful grin that still seemed more snake than human. The cold, damp air seemed to enhance his already cold aura, an extension of his dark soul and lust for power. This contemplating figure was complimented by the followers who came to him and stayed with him for one sole reason: the power. Even as is, the Hidden Village of Sound was a very powerful village despite its size and age, but the kage within didn’t care for its current state. His sole goal was of the future, a future he could reach out and grasp in order to choke the life out of it. Orochimaru was sitting on his throne as his flunkies continued to honor him and do his bidding all the while his mind was reveling on the possibilities of his plans. Orochimaru motioned for kabuto to come to him and he whispers some bitter sweet words and orders as he lets out his charismatically cruel chuckle. Kabuto in turn went to the hall of records and looked over his information. Several scrolls were gathered from different piles, the rustling of old paper and new meshing together in the silent room. His head hung low, only his glasses could distinguish his face in the dim lighting. He pulled one particular scroll and returned to his master like an obedient mongrel who only stayed for the food. “Lord.” “Yes? Which one will it be?” “Hidden Grass Village is the weakest and smallest. They would make a good target my lord..” “Heheheheh…This is how its supposed to be now…thanks to you…Sarutobi…heheheh” “Shall I send out the word my lord?” “…Not quite yet. Bring me my boys. Bring me those three!” “…yes, I understand.” Kabuto bowed lightly and walked away to fetch those that Orochimaru wanted: Uchiha Sasuke, Vreselijk Raiko and Gekkou Kin. As he waited his mind wandered and pictured the burning grass village. He pictured the adults flogged and maimed and the women and children running in vain. He would mentally walk over to them and dissect them, split them open and search through their innards. An old practice of his to examine and use the part to learn of the user’s powers and abilities, but still an favorite. He rejoiced at seeing the potential of the little ones that were slain and the refined abilities of the older ones, he took in all their lives, all their pain and only for a moment of joy, a moment for power. He was snapped out of his trance as he heard and coming footsteps of his prized tools. One of them to be his future host and ultimate goal. The three ninjas walked up behind Kabuto and then kneeled respectfully before Orochimaru. “Uchiha Sasuke here.” “Vreselijk at your service.” “Gekkou Kin, what is your will?” “Suit up, get ready…prepare to go to the Grass Village.” Sasuke was usually cold so he didn’t care why, but the other two looked up a bit confused. Kin was always the tactful one so he waited for his comrade to stick his neck out. “For what lord Orochimaru?” “Everything!” Orochimaru waved them away and expected them to be ready. The three ninjas walked out and looked at each other, only half understanding what he meant. Kin knew immediately and Sasuke still didn’t care, Vres only knew he was needed to fight and wanted to show his strength. The three made their preparations, their preliminary investigations and reports as was commanded by them and returned to the Sound Village only to find Orochimaru already gathering a massive force to invade. He was making a speech when they were approaching. “In 5 hours we will strike the Grass Village. Move out!” The three ninjas looked on at the size and thought their own private thoughts. One couldn’t wait to fight, one couldn’t wait to lead, while the other couldn’t wait period. In the midst of the large army a small boy looked on confused, unaware of the maelstrom he was just sucked into. Little Oujou Kontan was swept up by the fever-high excitement and marched along side the huge army towards the Hidden Grass Village. Meanwhile… Orochimaru’s actions did not go unnoticed. Just as Hidden Sound was dark, Konoha was bright with their passionate flames. The Hidden Leaf Village gathered what personnel they could muster to support the small village. Of their ranks there was one that would stand out in any area of combat, the ninja Mishima Jin. His solid resolution would and outstanding power made him a fine choice to lead their forces. Jin was making his preparations as several of his comrades decided to jump in on the secrecy. Ed the Head, a strange character which a face only a mother could love, along with several other up and coming ninjas came by to lend their hands. Jin looked over them and appreciated their voluntary jump into a risky situation. His mind wandered and he found himself thinking of the horrors this monster called Orochimaru would cause if left unchecked. “…He must be stopped at all costs. He must die…treacherous snake!” The group looked at him nervously, none would try to poke fun at him in such a serious and tense moment. Jin oversaw the preparations and the troops himself and approved. They would make their way to the Hidden Grass to join their fight against a creature that should’ve died long ago… Not to be forgotten, the Hidden Cloud Village also took interest in this matter. Just as with the other villages, this one had its fair share of rising stars. Inuzuka Kisuke and Masahiro Kaito took a very keen interest in the matter. Both very honorable and very proud, their found this war to be a detestable reach for power that a devil did not need. The too gathered with their troops, though smaller in number, and made their way towards the soon to be ravaged battleground that is the Hidden Grass Village. Time passed and tensions rose. The sun beat down on the forest as legions of the tool called ‘ninja’ moved its way through it. Despite the great numbers the forest was abnormally quiet, a good sign of enemy presence. The animals knew better than to stick their necks out in a butcher shop and quaked in fear of the coming onslaught. The armies gathered and prepared, scouts were sent and lost, tacticians were seeing the coming war in their minds and produced the plans their mind’s eye laid out. The Sound, The Leaf and the Cloud all focusing on The Grass who stood like a small child facing a nightmare. The coming days would draw out to weeks which drew more than enough blood to soak the land and make it deathly rich to create the verdant lands that haunted Thanatos’ dreams. The three sound captains separated and took their respective troops to take action while the alliance leaders prepared for a wave of unnecessary destruction. Then it happened, the clash of the titans bellowed out thousands of war cries. The bellowing giant made by those voices would silence hundreds at a time. No order, no mercy, no hope for those that fought. It is here that the Sound 3 would outgrow each other, where the boy who know not of the outside world would learn of its vices, where the defenders of life would fail and where the devil would make its mark. Despite their valiant efforts they could not stop the ever changing tide. Jin’s great prowess did not crush the overwhelming numbers, Kisuke’s pride did not force him to a new level to win the day, Ed’s cunning did not take the devil by the tail and Kontan’s innocence did not outlast his sins. Ploys, tactics, maneuvers and engineered monsters galore lead the Sound through the forest, through the barricades and straight into the village itself. Jin tookit upon himself to stop at least the stronger monsters from reaching the sick kage. After taking down several orcs he found himself before his former friend, a painful regret and a seething hate rose up in him. “Vres…” “…Jin.” These two felt the murder wave surround them and couldn’t help but fight. It would be a resounding loss for Vres, who pushed himself to his limit and beyond in order to give Jin a better fight than he expected, but a long enough distraction for his comrades to make their way through. Sasuke made his way close to the tower but was caught off guard by Kisuke. The two would fight on as Sasuke tries to lose him, but he finds himself unable to. This fight, a similar one to Vres and Jin, was one of distraction as well. The village raided and crumbling, the allied forces had no choice but to leave it up to the kage, Madarame Ikaku, to take on the dwindling Sound forces. As if weeping for its wife, the sky let out a torrent of water on the earth as the moon gave its ill omen to the inhabitants. Ikaku sat on his own throne awaiting for the armies to converge on his location. He was not surprised to see the two ANBU near him run off towards a strange sound and get killed. He was surprised by the fact that it was a young boy and a stout, but frail looking Sound Nin who came towards him. Ikaku took this opportunity to try and get some information for those that helped his dying village. “Oi! You sound scum…where’s Orochimaru?!” Kin looked at him very casually and smiled. “Lord Orochimaru? Who knows! He’s neither here nor there…he’s everywhere! He’s anywhere he wants to be and I’m sure he’s still getting the news of this one sided butchery you might call a war. It might be best to think of your own safety rather then where our Lord is at.” Ikaku glared at this ninja, but then heard something that was unexpected. The boy and his cryptic remarks… “The reaper has come…he has taken your village…won’t you come with him to peace?” Ikaku thought it best to just ignore him, he might’ve been strong but he looked quite exhausted. It was the other one that would be a problem. The three looked on as the rain poured on them, the moon shined on them, and the wind howled at their backs. Their fight started and the last remnant of the village, the tower, was paying the price. Several exhausting hours passed and the three continued to fight. Ikaku took it upon himself and his nearly ruined body to take them out at the very least. Using his ultimate technique, he began to tear up the area and aimed to kill the foe that presented itself in the way. Kin blockaded himself from the storm while the boy, kontan, parried it all. Ikaku didn’t mind since it would wear them out, but he did mind what happened. The boy’s spirit pushed him to use himself as a weapon and burned his way through the leaves with his chakra. A resounding blow forced the kage to stagger and lose concentration and created an opening. Kin struck and hit a very palpable hit on his target. His body being ruined inside and out by the two nins, Ikaku changed his tact towards his great weapons. Kontan, exhausting himself, could only be a mere distraction for the kage. But that was more than enough for him, he wanted to help Kin at all costs. Kin devised his plans and moved forward through the pain on his body, with the moon to his back to encourage the darker side of him. Kontan used this moment to crumble the tower levels and send them plummeting to the ground where he would fall unconscious. Kin and Ikaku took themselves to their limits to satisty this lust for death. Like a fallen angel corrupted by power, Kin fought on with great ferocity at great risk to his body against the giant blades of Ikaku. The two would collide and fight during the seconds of eternity until their consciousness gave way to darkness. Kin slowly opened his eyes when he heard the voices of villagers...he looked up and saw them all gathered around Ikaku's body,Kin felt relief...he had killed Ikaku, out a sigh of relief and the villagers suddenly heard him, they turned around and slowly walked towards him. The villagers approached Kin with sticks and stones in their hands ready to bash it into the weakened ninja`s skull , they looked like an angry mob, Kontan could not fight back either, a very tall man approached Kin with a humongous boulder in hand and dattempted to drop it on him but suddenly an arrow flew into the side of his head, right in his ear, he fell to the ground and a group were seen not far away from the tower. “ Get back……this village is now the property of the great Orochimaru….” The figure appeared to be Kabuto, he started laughing after he said that and the group of ANBU walked towards Kin and Kontan picking them up and taking them back to Sound , Kabuto smirked and walked right behind them. The cold night air pushed against the two ninjas as they left back for their village, after weeks of what seemed to be one of the most brutal wars in history , Gekkou Kin and Ouju Kontan managed to kill Madarame Ikaku the previous grass kage that had a disease, Orochimaru`s sadistic plan was accomplished and now all that was left to do was extremely simple and that is steal everything they find, like taking away candy from a defenseless baby the rest of the sound marched back to the grass the very next day and brutalized and beat to death evry child and senile villager They took all that they can, the food from the plantation, the gold, all the resources and everything useful or could be useful, Orochimaru laughed as the grass village disappeared as ashes in the air , of the face of the earth , he has won despite all those who were against him, he was now one step closer to becoming the most powerful , the scrolls were taken and even Madarame Ikaku`s body was taken, the villagers didn’t even have a chance to give him a proper burial. The rest of the villagers that were spared became slaves and all were transported back to the Sound along with everything else they stole to forever work for no money for sixteen hours a day, a quarter of the people transported back to Sound did not surivive because of tremendous weight loss or suicide by biting their tongue of. The Grass was left filled with corpses, both in the village itself and in the battlefield, the vultures are going to enjoy feeding on the fields of carcases |
