My system spec - Intel Core2Duo E6850 @ 3.0Ghz (1333Mhz) Asus P5K3 Deluxe WiFi-AP Edition (Intel P35 chipset) Corsair TwinX XMS3 PC38500 CAS 7-7-7-20 2gb dual channel kit (1066mhz) 3x WD 74gig Raptors (ADFD) (well 2 at the moment, 1 died is being RMA'd) WD 500GB RE 16mb cache Pioneer 111-D DVD-RW Sapphire ATi/AMD 2900XT 512mb Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Lian Li PC-A16B Aluminium Full-Tower - Black Enermaz liberty 620W Modular Corsair Dominator RAM fan LG L1915S 19" LCD Watercooled with swiftech and Koolance gear (North and South bridge, Mosfets, GPU, CPU) with a CoolIT TEC and single 120mm rad in loop. ![]() That's a pic during building. ![]() And that's after, with my UV lights on for the sake of a pic :-P Best part of building this rig was filling it up - all that high tech gear and not a funnel in sight... So i made 1 out of paper and it worked well ace :-P Have managed to clock the CPU to 3.8GHz, think i would need better ram to make it go further if possible tho... Roz |

Your system is 50 times better than my laptop lol I have a Dell Latitude C600 1ghz pentium 3 512mb ram usb2.0 4 slots 16mb graphics card 14.1" LCD screen 24x Cd Rom drive Belkin 125mb wireless card Laptop Cooling pad (basically 3 fans inside a plastic box underneath my laptop to keep it cool) Windows XP Pro sp2 urs is definately better

You think mine is good, you should see my bf's lol. Dual Quads, it's server kit with an 8800GTS (soon to get an Ultra) with and XFi Sound card, and 4x 150gig raptors, and 8gig of FB DDR2. Hot indeed... R |

It's at 40C idle atm, off the CPU, which is about the same thoughout the loop. That's with the CoolIT fan on low in a hot room tho. With it on high in a cool room, i get down to about 30C idle Consideirng how much kit i'm cooling it's not that bad, though ideally i if i had space i would have the big coolermaster case with either 2 separate loops or my current loop minus the cpu block, but with another CoolIT only on the CPU :-P R edit: oh and i'd have my 8800GTS back, with a swiftech stealth waterblock on it :-P |

Lol, not worth trying, wayyyy too heavy. Mine's pretty heavy too. Oh btw, i was running Vista Ultimate on it, but i'm back on XP for now. Vista still has some issues with RAID... R |

XP is for me, after all vista would kill my laptop your temp is good my laptop is roughly 35 degree's atm
but thats with the help of my cooling pad
