st. trinian's -- main building

Regular Forum (No New Posts) • main office
the main office of st. trinian's is a sacred place. in truth, it is probably the most well-kept and maintained part of st. trinian's. here, schedules are handed out, confrontations are solved, rules are made, and detentions are served. generally, it's an undesirable location to the student population.

mrs. aitken is the resident nurse at st. trinian's, and she's a tough old bird - though her judgment is failing her in her old age, and she's beginning to have difficulties determining just who is feigning their illnesses and who isn't. there has been a steep decline in those who fake their illnesses as of late, though; some of her home remedies are a little crude.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) • classrooms
the classrooms at st. trinian's are that of any other boarding school. there are the basic classes, such as mathematics and history, and there are several electives. each classroom is divided evenly down the middle - one half for females, and the other for males.

winding corridors can be found throughout the entire campus of st. trinian, and as such, it is very easy to get lost in its labyrinth-like halls. maybe you should get a map.

st trinian's -- student housing

Regular Forum (No New Posts) • maceachern house
macheachern house is the sole housing building for the male population of st. trinian's. the rooms are simple, but well-decorated. the entire building is decorated in a olive-green-and-cream color scheme, covering everything - the walls, floor, lush armchairs, and the four post beds. a strict curfew is in effect, and it has been said that any and all who defy this rule will suffer severe consequences.

st trinian's -- other buildings

Regular Forum (No New Posts) • dining hall
the st. trinian dining hall is a vast, dark-wooded building that is, as one would expect, divided straight down the middle - one side for females, and one for males. the hall is very dimly lit in the evenings after the sun goes down, save for the oil lamps that sit staggered down the long tables.

believe it or not, the kitchens are busiest long after most would have expected everyone to be safely tucked in bed. these students really take the phrase "midnight snack" to heart, despite all fear of consequences.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) • auditorium
with ascending bleachers surrounding it on three walls. in the past, the auditorium has been used for a number of motivational speeches, classical music concerts and dance recitals. some students hope for a dance of sorts, but the majority of them know better than to even waste their time with such silly thoughts.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) • gymnasium
the gymnasium is... well, it's as smelly as one would expect. year after year of vigorous activity and strenuous training has resulted in an odor that even the most celebrated cleaning solutions just can't seem to get rid of. nonetheless, it remains the sole basketball court on premises, and the workout room is still in decent condition.

the more artistic of st. trinian's students consider this building to be their true home. within the walls of the fine arts building, peace can be found with the varied art supplies in the main art room, the numerous secondhand instruments in the music room, and the solace of the dance studio. it truly is a pleasant place.

st trinian's -- school grounds

Regular Forum (No New Posts) • front lawn
though quite a sizeable school st. trinian's may be, their budget is less than desirable, and the little things on the grounds display this fact. several creaky, rusty benches sit throughout the grassy plain directly in front of the building, along with the shade of a grove of weeping willows. the grass is almost never as well-kept as it should be, as the varied grasses and weeds seem to grow at an alarming rate. nevertheless, the front lawn of st. trinian's remains a comfortable, peaceful place to study for tests or catch up with friends.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) • sports field
a sports field lies just to the left of the school - the only acceptable place for all outdoor sporting activities to take place. a walking track runs around the entire field, and beyond that is a set of bleachers on either side of the field. it has become quite a popular hangout on friday nights, due to its versatile environment... at least until the staff find out.

beyond the sports field is the school's swimming pool, where all swimming lessons and chaperoned swims take place. no students are permitted inside the pool's gates after the lifeguard and on-duty instructor leave - but rules are made for breaking, right?

after the gymnasium, the st. trinian locker rooms are easily the most foul-smelling rooms on the grounds. inside are numerous lockers, and beyond that, toilets and showers. naturally, the locker rooms are separated by gender, and clearly labeled to prevent mistakes.

despite the conditions of the front lawn, several of the teachers have taken to tending to the maccallion garden in their spare time. named for one of the finest teachers to have taught at the school, the garden hosts a variety of plants and shrubbery - even several exotic specimens shipped from neighboring countries. it's a quiet little place, and many students like to relax there when their work is done.

the rest of edinburgh

Regular Forum (No New Posts) • shopping
edinburgh has varied shopping opportunities, ranging from grocery stores, antique shops, and clothing shops. before long, everyone runs out of the bare necessities - it happens to the best of us - and have to venture out into the great shopping world beyond st. trinian's doors. of course, several take great pride in their shopping abilities, and prefer to spend their money on music, clothes, and jewelry.

though dates are clearly frowned upon in the st. trinian halls, edinburgh itself is a whole other story. several couples have relished in the fact that they can share their affections freely in the confines of nearby restaurants - or, you know, just escaping yet another dreary meal in the dining hall.
