I can not remember who asked me if I have use them, I have not until today (25th) I put them on my christmas list & I have been out in the garden battering myself with them all day. There just so awesome to use & I have learnt a few tricks as well what an added bonus... few more weeks of it I should have it nailed to a degree of where I stop knocking myself out & hitting certain tender parts of my body!!!

Thanks to who ever it was, now there is another thing I am addicted too!!

oh yea, before I forgert - HAPPY CHRISTMAS & HAVE A GOOD NEW YEAR!!!

Aint recorded anything yet due to severe pains to lower regions on the male animity, but give me a week or two I've been told I've picked it up really well today, just for 1 day!!!!! so am really happy, but my male animity is not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I've learnt a lot today, it does help been a ex-session drummer as well for co-ordination as well :P even I'd say it's quite a task even to the extent of my limbs, but I am going to be the 1st poi poi ball buster for the clan!!!

yey, it was me :) Santa brought me some bluetooth headfones to make fire spinning so much easier - my friends Sue & Emma spin too so maybe we can get some nice fire sessions down the beach in the summer when the winds gone & everyone else is making us a bbq :)

Thanks for the links - its come in usefull, I've been busy over the christmas holiday & just got back home now from staying in a hotel, so I am going to check these websites out & bruise my lower regions more, I've learnt a few tricks allready but I have got a long way to go yet.

I Think when I am a lot better I am going to get some led poi poi because they look awesome - I've checked out the videos on youtube.

Ash had a go & smacked himself in the face on christmas day, now he does not like them. ha ha ha ha - wuss!

I think it's a bit like kiting - you'll end up with the whole set! I've found mouse poi the best to practice with as they hurt much less & don't smash the lights off the ceiling unlike some of the others !
I saw a website somewhere that did rechargeable ones & some that work on a ....urm....boy word?.....you know the motion makes the LED light up....?.....as with all the light ones you do tend to leave the batteries in when your a bit messy and they're dead when you pick um up next.

I've got a range of batteries, I got a different cameras & other junk & its becomea bit of a habit now that I take them out after I bust a camera that cost me a lot of pounds so I put my think wig on & took the batteries out of my other ones.

After a few months of practicing with the poi I think I'll get some l.e.d. ones to muck around with, am not keen on the fire ones, they look a bit lame in my eyes to l.e.d. poi. I've checked them sites that Andy sent me & now am back home after the holiday I'll get straight on it & most prob brake my face - but its all learning to flow in motion!!!

I'll see you & everyone down the beach sometime & have a chat. Happy new year everyone!!
