I got a friend thats in a chair & the closest thing he can get to powerkiting is using a blowcart. He said he'd love to go buggying, but thinks it impossible..

Ok here's what I know..

The buggy pilot needs to be able to use his/her legs to control the direction of the buggy and the legs will come under quite a bit of force doing this, a way around this is to connect two buggies together using a tandem kit. The pilot at the front would fly the kite and control the direction whilst the pilot at the back can enjoy the ride.

A problem with this however is the second pilot is only a passenger and we all want to have an element of control and some input.
It is possible for both pilots to fly kites at the same time however both pilots would have to be experienced kite buggiers ie for turning.

I'm sure somebody out there has made a custom buggy that would do the job however this going to be very expensive to produce and probably very difficult to control.

Hope this helps
:D

Dunno if i got this straight but if you mean tandem as in 2 buggys, one being attached to the other with the rear one not being able to steer then this sorta thing may be just the thing to attach the buggys together

buggy atachment type thingy

I know the sale has ended but it shows that it can be done and if the link doesn't work then hit the flexi forums and pm ADZ, cos he's the guy that makes them
