In my point of view, Mother's Day is one of the most important occasions every year. We celebrate this day to commemorate the memories we shared with our mothers and thank the love that they have given us. Without them and their love, care and teachings, we cannot be the good, responsible and God-fearing members of society that we are now. For a week, starting from May 13 and ending at May 19, I shall decrease 10 percent warning to anyone who will share their stories and memories of their mothers. (Of course, if you don't have any warnings, I can't decrease anything, but I'll be thankful that you shared.) Yes, Mother's Day is just a day but we'll have this for a week so that we can hear from more and more from our friends in this forum. In at least 3 paragraphs, kindly write about the following: 1) Write about the ways of how your mother loves you, i.e. narrate how she has brought you up in this world, how she has provided your needs, and how she worked hard for you and your family; 2) Her reaction about your addiction to Ragnarok Online; (yes, include this) 3) Last but not the least, your message to her OK, to give you an example, I'll start: Kahit napakatigas ng ulo ko hanga't sa paglaki ko, tiniis at minahal ako ng aking ina at naibigay niya sa akin ang edukasyon, pagkain araw-araw, at pagmamahal na kinailangan ko upang ako ay mabuhay at maging mabuting lingkod sa aking kapwa tao sa ating lipunan. Hanggang ngayon, ako ay umiiyak sapagka't wala na siya. Nilabanan niya ang cancer ng higit 10 taon, at namatay siya noong Septyembre. Siguro, ang pagkawala niya ay isang malaking hamon ng Poong Maykapal para sa aming pamilya na lalong magmahalan at mag buklod-buklod. Noong nabubuhay pa siya, oo naiinis siya sa RO. Ngunit ipinakita ko naman na ginagawa ko ang aking makakaya para tumulong pa rin at gampanan ang aking tungkulin bilang panganay sa aking mga kapatid at isang mabuti at mapagmahal na anak. Mom, wherever you are now, I hope you're fine and well, and I am certain that you are now with the company of our Maker. I have committed a lot of mistakes in my life, and right now, I am trying to change for the better. I promise to take care of my father and my brothers and provide for our family. I love you so much. eto sakin... Mom ko sobrang mapagmahal (sino bang hindi?). She's always patient with me kahit na paulit ulit kong ginagawa yung mga kalokohan ko. Hindi sya nagsasawang pagsabihan ako. minsan pag may sakit ako, kahit sabihin kong ako na lang bahala mag alaga sa sarili ko eh pinipilit pa rin niya na siya na ang gagawa non. kapag pinuntahan ako at gagabihin ako, sinasabi ko sa kanya (pati Dad ko) na wag na akong hintayin... pero hinihintay pa rin nila ako para malaman niya (nila) na okay ako. Marami pang iba, hindi ko na mailagay hehe.. About playing pRO, one time she asked me why I'm still playing this game. I told her that this my way to release stress (other than playing badminton). saka di ko maiwan yung mga taong naging kaibigan ko dito. Ermats! Hehe... Sana wag ka magsawa sakin at sa mga kapatid ko. Thank you for being there when I need you. I know I will not be able to reciprocate everything you've done for me (us), I promise you I will do everything I can para hindi masayang yung mga ginawa nyo ni dad. My mom raised me away from the vices this world can offer. She raised me as a normal child even though my mom and dad alternately work abroad. Against all odds, against all chances and everything in the middle, my mom is there. In good times and bad times she was always there to protect me, to be proud of me, to take care of me. Kahit na lagi syang pagod from the hospital. Kahit na masama pakiramdam nya. Kahit na obviously nakukulitan sya saming magkakapatid. That's why nung sinabi nya na magnursing ako hindi sya nahirapang iconvince ako to pursue such course. A very hardworking mom, a leader, a caring nurse, a passionate professor. This is my mom. Happy Mothers' Day po. /kis2 Her reaction about your addiction to Ragnarok Online.. I remember the time na more than 32hrs akong nawala sa bahay only to found out naglalaro lang ako sa computer shop. Hindi sya nagalit pero inunti unti nya ako [with my Dad] ng sermon. Which made me think of the things I lack and the things I should be prioritizing instead of the game. Pero ok lang naman sa kanya as long as hindi na kasing hardcore as before yung gameplay ko. Last but not the least, your message to her I love you mommy. My mom, from the day she left ten years ago she has not failed to give us the love we need. She left for work abroad to support us, having had misunderstandings with our dad. For ten years she didn't come home. Just to support me and my sister. At first I was bitter but the distance doesn't matter anymore to me. Even though she didn't raise me, she has been supportive and non-judgmental with my actions. Thankful ako sa kanya, for supporting everything with me. Of course, whenever I go too far across the line she's always there to keep me straight. Especially when I indulged my addiction in RO. It became my outlet. I played almost everyday not even minding my studies or myself for that matter. She was a constant. A constant in my life, even though I don't realize it, my world revolved around her. She was there to give my a gentle push and a harsh pull back to reality whenever I needed it. (I am not crying.) Ma, you've been everything to me. I hope you don't mind that I'm almost on the verge of destroying my whole future. No you don't. You've always been like that. I love you Ma, kahit I can't feel it anymore, kahit di ko masabi sayo. And I'll try to be your little girl again. May 1999; DS grade one projects, a little envelope sat unopened. It read: Mama kamusta ka na? Sana ok ka lang! Ginawan kita ng poeme sana magustuhan mo! "Books are some of the best investments you can ever make..." - my mom would always tell me. Despite the humble income she makes, she never thought twice about buying me sooooooooo many books for me to read, learn, and enjoy. Thanks to her, I've grown to appreciate all sorts of literature and appreciate good education. She and my father always valued good education, and they go through great hardhips in their work just to make sure that my brothers and I get it. She's the best. :yahoo: My mother was always more tolerable of my RO addiction as compared to my father. It's ok with her as long as I keep my school grades up. Everytime she catches me playing, she'd of course say something like "kung yung mga libro mo ba naman yang pinagtutuunan mo ng oras eh, baka mastumaas pa sana yang mga grades mo...", and stuff like that, but she'd let me keep on playing anyway cuz she knows I'm having fun and that I know how to control how much I play anyway. But of course, she's always around just in case I get too absorbed in my alternate life in Rune Midgard... Ma, I'm really glad that you're still here with by my side. I hope that you'll still remain healthy for many, many, many, many years to come. I hope that you live to the day that I get married, have your grand children, and be richer than Bill Gates... :lolwave: I want to buy you the best of things, to devote my successes to you. I want you to see how successful I will be, a chance that my grandparents didn't have. I want to receive that caring pat on the back you always give me whenever I succeed or even fail in anything. It always showed me how proud you are of me, no matter what. I love you ma, I love you... - the whole family is currently in Tagaytay enjoying the holiday. We attended a beautiful mass in a tiny chapel where they gave beautiful red and white roses to all the mothers present. Nothing less for the most important women in our lives... Our moms... :) |
