Since summer is fast approaching and not all of us will bake our skin to the summer heat, let's talk about books that can be read not only to use spare time but to gain something from inspiring stories and stuff.

Indicate the book title, the author and if you can- the book summary. :)

Rekumenda ko yung mga libro ni Terry Goodkind. Kahit yung mga luma na maganda basahin gaya ng Sword of truth(madami to).

cute ung story ng "Le Petite Prince" aka The Little Prince

"..they say people watch the sunset when they are sad; were you so sad then during the 44 sunsets? And the Prince did not reply..."

For those who love reading about love, I'd recommend Nicholas Sparks novels. On the top of my list are...

Message in a Bottle
The Notebook
A Walk to Remember
A Bend in the Road

For those who are interested in action-packed war novels, try some of Ken Follet's works...

Jackdaws
Eye of the Needle

In the mood for light reading? Look for works by the following poets and short story writers...

Maya Angelou
Pablo Neruda
Rudyard Kipling
Max Schulman
Edith Wharton
Edgar Allan Poe

My bedside table book at the moment...

Time Before Man by Margaret Atwood
