Note: I know this has been already posted but here's an alternate version. Err... 1. Enter the Prontera Castle to begin the quest. After entering the castle, go to the left side, you should see a portal there. Posted Image 2. Inside the portal you'll find 3 NPCs. Talk to Madeleine Chu to initiate the quest and tell him "I want to learn cooking too!". He'll ask you to talk to Charles Orleans and also asks you to wear a Chef's Hat. Posted Image 3. Talk to Charles Orleans and tell him, "Don't you remember me?" and he'll choose a random Level 1 Food for you to cook and tells you the ingredients needed. Gather the items and bring it back to him. Charles will only tell you the ingredients once so write it down. Posted Image 4. Go back to him when you finally gathered all items need. Talk to him and you'll begin cooking and he'll instruct you how to cook the dish. After that you'll recieve the finish product. He'll tell you to keep practicing. 5. Talk to Madeleine Chu once again and he'll lend you a Level 1 Cook Book for you to practice and 10 Outdoor Cooking Kit. Now you must practice to cook all of the dishes listed in the cook book. If you failed one of the dishes you can still buy Outdoor Cooking Kits from him whenever you like. Posted Image Ingredients: Some of the dishes needs Cooking Oil, Bag of Grain and various Sauces. You can buy this ingredients from Chef Assistants scattered across Midgard, here's a list to help you locate them just use the /where command: Chef's Assistant in Payon (206, 119) Spicy Sauce - 700z Chef's Assistant in Morroc (120, 97) Spicy Sauce - 700z Sweet Sauce - 700z Savory Sauce - 700z Red Spice - 1000z Yellow Spice - 1000z Chef's Assistant in Prontera (156, 212) Savory Sauce - 700z Red Spice - 1000z Pot - 200z Bread - 150z Chef's Assistant in Nifleheim (209, 180) Edible Mushroom - 40z Chef's Assistant in Al De Baran (165, 107) Red Spice - 1000z Yellow Spice - 1000z Bread - 150z Chef's Assistant in Juno (130, 173) Cooking Oil - 500z Pot - 200z Chef's Assistant in Alberta (165, 135) Fresh Fish - 250z Chef's Assistant in Geffen (196, 111) Pot - 200z Chef's Assistant in Comodo (225, 164) Spicy Sauce - 700z Sweet Sauce - 700z Savory Sauce - 700z Fresh Fish - 250z Chef's Assistant in Umbala (102, 154) Red Spice - 1000z Bag of Grain - 200z Chef's Assistant in Amatsu (225, 164) Sweet Sauce - 700z Fresh Fish - 250z Special Ingredients: Some food requires Oranges, Strawberries and stuffs like that, unfortunately you can't buy these ingredients anywhere in Midgard. You have to kill a certain monster to obtain this, here's a helpful list: Orange Condor, Peco Peco, Grand Peco, Galapago, Baby Desert Wolf and Acidus Strawberry Spore, Yoyo, Wolf, Coco, Hermit Plant, Snake and Ferus Red Chile Kraben Shrimp Leaf Cat Lemon Leaf Cat and Merman Izidor Rybio and Harpy Cacao Yoyo and Wootan Shooter How to Cook: When you have the appropriate items need for a dish, click on the Cooking Set in you inventory and a new window will open. Click on the food you want to cook, you must have the right cook book though. And if you're lucky enough the dish will be a success. If you fail, you'll lose the ingredients needed. Posted Image Cooking Kits: A Cooking Set is needed when cooking foods. You can buy this from Madeliene Chu inside Prontera Castle. The more expensive the set is, the higher the success rate in making foods. Some are obtainable from monster which is better than the ones gained through the NPC: Outdoor Cooking Kit - 250z Homemade Cooking Kit - 1000z Professional Cooking Kit - Orc Lady, Miyabi Doll, Magnolia, Venatu, Violy Royal Cooking Kit - Alice, Aliza, Dimik, Tengu Fantastic Cooking Kit - Lady Tanee Cook Books: All foods requires a certain cook book depending on the food's level. Level 1 - Level 5 Cook Books can be obtain through a short quest with Charles Orlean. However Level 6 - Level 10 Cook Books are only dropped by monsters. Here's a list: Level 6 Cook Book: Orc Lady Level 7 Cook Book: Evil Druid and Deathword Level 8 Cook Book: Gemini-S58 and Deathword Level 9 Cook Book: Turtle General and Deathword Level 10 Cook Book: Maya Purple 6. After successfully cooking all the dishes listed in Level 1 Cook Book, go back to Madeleine Chu and tell him "Will you try the food I cooked?". He'll take all the Level 1 dishes and will give you a Food Package to deliver somewhere in Payon Town. Posted Image 7. Roughly at the center of Payon you'll find Servant, tell him that Madeliene Chu has sent you and give him the Food Package. He'll give you a Traditional Rice Cake as a reward for bringing him the parcel. Posted Image 8. Go back to Madeliene Chu to finish the quest and recieve 10 Homemade Cooking Kit as a reward. Now you can buy Homemade Cooking Kits from him whenever you like for 1000z. Homemade Cooking Kit gives you a higher success rate to cook foods than Outdoor Cooking Kit. 9. Talk to Charles Orlean to learn some new recipes by exchanging your Level 1 Cook Book and 10 Shoots for a Level 5 Cook Book. You can also exchange items to obtain cook books lower than Level 5 but you can only do this once. I suggest you take the Level 5 Cook Book, after all, the higher the cook book's level the more your food will be effective. |

Actually it's a complete opposite of Clip. Instead of SP it adds +10 HP. But I still prefer Clip than Nile Rose though... but you'll able to fight an MVP in the end... Hellion Revenant... :D |

Juperos Core quest? The one where Vesper appears? I dunno that's pretty tough... considering I don't have a high level character... but if anyone is willing to assist me then why not? Hmm... about 5 people that is... I have to go through a mob of Venatus to get to the Core... Or is it the one where you exchange the plates for a Giftbox? @Guide Editted this guide some more! |
