This forum is for fans of S.E. Hinton's novel (and film and TV show) "The Outsiders." Our board name comes from the filming location of the Curtis house used in the movie.

Why have, the battered donkey when you could have the wild, untamable horse? Sylvia/Johnny. ONESHOT." This is her take on the sistuation with Sylvia and Johnny that Ponyboy mentions in the book. It's a great insight into Johnny's mind.(We don't get to see it that often.)

I highly enjoyed it - definitely gonna leave a review for it the next time I log into ff.net. I like how Johnny is portrayed - a teenage boy (not the battered little soul fantards tend to make him out to me 99% of the time) with these confusing thoughts about a buddy's girlfriend.
