This forum is for fans of S.E. Hinton's novel (and film and TV show) "The Outsiders." Our board name comes from the filming location of the Curtis house used in the movie.

Good slash. In The Outsiders fandom. On Fanfiction.net. Don't worry, I was shocked too. This fic, by the lovely ohhsnap, is not only a realistic and well-written piece of Dallas/Johnny slash, but it's written from Dallas' point of view, and I swear, Susie Hinton is her beta reader. I can actually believe that it's Dallas thinking these thoughts, not to mention that this writer has a particularly good grasp of both Dallas and Johnny's characters. A wonderful fic that's sure to make the BSST happy and certainly worth a spot in your favourites. :)

The second person POV really makes the fic, in my opinion. It's tricky to work with as a writer, but so great when it's done right.
