This forum is for fans of S.E. Hinton's novel (and film and TV show) "The Outsiders." Our board name comes from the filming location of the Curtis house used in the movie.

You guys did such a good job. I spent so much time cringing while reading, but I was unable to stop. It was just too damn funny. Here are my favourite bits... "Honestly, I should leave. I don't want to get any virgin on me." "I mean, you can't live in a house with three boys without having seen a dick, right? Oh, wait, have you seen Pony's?" Then we had an orgy. It was good. ...like the anime says, gotta have 'em all, right? "No ... he was dressed in these fancy clothes and he looked a little like the guy from Risky business. Come to think of it, he kinda looked a bit like Steve too." I literally lol'd at all of those. And I loved the Twilight reference at the end haha.

I mean, it's hard to write good fic, but it's super hard to get yourself in the frame of mind to seriously mess something up and write it with no regard to grammar or any other serious thought. It's kind of a relief to know writing like that does not come naturally.

So then I read the actual story and I laughed SO HARD because it was just so ridiculous. I found what you did hilarious and decided I liked the atmosphere, so that tipped it for me to join. And um.
