So why did Angel not want to be with Jimmy? Doesn't want to rely on a man again maybe?
Angela was hellbent on protecting Jimmy. Although Ray went to jail, he still had cronies on the outside.

Some of that will be addressed in my Angela/Jimmy fic "Jealous Moon."

Which I will update again. Someday.

I totally forgot about my Holding soundtrack - I had decided to make one, and I got about half the songs I wanted lol. I figure some people might be interested. I think of the fic like a movie in my head when I write (switching pretending to be characters depending on POV ... I'm not "the camera" lol). So here's the tracks I envisioned in certain scenes:

Magic Bus (The Who) - opening scene of Tim bussing back to Tulsa (while credits show lol)
Whipping Post (Allman Brothers) - the sex scene in Chapter 2
Wasted Days and Wasted Nights (Freddy Fender) - when Tim first goes to Buck's
Lay Lady Lay (Bob Dylan) - can't remember the chapter, but Ruby mentions it playing while she's in bed with Tim
Rhinestone Cowboy (Glen Campbell) - it plays in the apartment one chapter and Tim comments it sucks lol
Some Kind of Wonderful (Grand Funk Railroad) - I can't remember
Feel Like Making Love (Bad Comapny) - Can't remember again lol
I'm Not In Love (10 CC) - can't remember
Having My Baby (Paul Anka) - Two-Bit plays it on the radio amongst threats to his life lol.
Best of My Love (The Eagles) - Tim at the cemetery finding the graves)
