I read this 2 summers ago and I remember it had me seriously depressed for at least a week *after* I read it. I couldn't get all the way through it at once. I had to stop reading it for a few weeks because it was just too upsetting. There were times when I would start getting welled up THINKING about the story during class. lol, I'm so overdramatic. Ugh, cancer sucks.

At first the grammar and choppiness kind of put me off too, but once I got into the meat of the story I kind of forgot about it. I remember I was listening to the song Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap a lot while I was reading it and to this day I find that song more poignant than it really is.
“You’re dancing like we’re at a rave! This is Superfresh!”
“Then they shouldn’t put on rave music!”
