President Mujahid Ali Alsaeed was frustrated as he went over the details of his plan in his head. He wished to benefit his people as their leader, all Amirati citizens, as best as he could and continuing to grow the nations economy, tourism industry, and image on the world stage was the best way he believed he should go about doing that. President Mujahid's own personal net worth was an astonishing 162.4 billion Alijadins with all of his money coming from his numerous business ventures in owning portions of the state oil company, shipping company, and national bank. "Well then see to it that it's done. Tourism has been booming here for quite some time, we've made a real name for ourselves. I want a run up of how much return a state sponsored airline could give back to our government and myself. We're trying to net big returns here Hamdan, you know this already. Now get to it with those reports." "I'll have my team come up with something and I'll have it back to you in a few hours" answered back Minister of Finance Hamdan Al Zain before turning to leave the Presidents office. Hamdan had spent the past five years working for the Ministry of Finance and had thus grown to know his leader, President Mujahid very well, his high intensity was expected of a man with as many business ventures as his, managing a portfolio worth 206.7 billion Alijadins was no easy feat especially as it was the entire Alsaeed ruling family's portfolio/net worth, but that was exactly why President Mujahid had chosen Hamdan as Minister of Finance in the first place. Minister Hamdan was an experienced and battle tested financier, he was a financial lawyer by trade and his father was a hedge fund owner and the CEO of Salah Oil Company. Hamdan had grown up around and dealt in money. To him, that was his calling and manipulating formulas or playing with numbers on a page brought him joy. As soon as he returned to his office in the Ministry of Finance building he ordered his team to draw up an analytics sheet and a few hypothesis for a passenger airline bearing the U.A.E's flag and name on it. After seven hours of dedication to the task, the team had compiled a 50 page document to be delievered to the President. President Mujahid had closed his eyes for a few minutes at his desk when Minister Hamdan walked in. "Mr. President I have your report. I think you'll like what it says, the creation of the airline is very feasible and is projected, at least by our margins, to grow the Amirati economy by an additional 100 billion Alijadins annually." President Mujahid picked up his head. "This is good news. Let me see it please" Hamdan then handed the President the document and sat across from him at his desk. He watched with satisfaction as the Presidents face lit up with excitement and joy as his eyes scanned over the numerous graphs and pages upon pages of writing detailing nothing but hypotheticals. Minister Hamdan's life was brought joy by his mathematical abilities and his punctuality in his delivery. "Hamdan, I couldn't be more proud of what this nation's dedicated men and women in the Ministry of Finance are doing." Hamdan smirked with acceptance of the Presidents compliment before posing the President a question. "Mr. President, what is the vision of your airline? What is it that you want to offer?" "I'm glad you asked Hamdan I have everything already planned out here on my computer. My vision is of an airline that is going to be ranked first in the world for style, comfort, and hospitality. The goal would be to have the passenger forget that they're even in travelling in a plane in the first place. For the first class seating I want to have all enclosed cabins with ceiling to floor doors, 32 inch LCD TVs, with seats that convert into beds. For the Business class sections of the aircraft in the fleet, I would want to have a massage function on all the seats, 20 inch screens on the back of each seat, a privacy particion between chairs, in seat power supply with USB ports and RCA sockets for laptop connection, and finally two individual reading lights. Now for economy, I think this is how we sell it. In economy we'll have leather chairs equipped with a winged headrest with six-way movement and 17 inch wide screen for entertainment purposes, and in-seat laptop power-outlets. For the lavatories, there needs to be two on board that are equipped with showers and eight regular ones. Amenities needs to include an onboard bar and lounge, a spa, 3000 channel in-flight entertainment system, and a photo booth. All meals need to be Halal and we should make available the abilities for passengers to voice dietary concerns based on age, health, and religious preferences before boarding the aircraft to make for an even more comfortable flight. At night, the ceilings need to be illuminated by accurate depictions of real life constallations and mood specific lighting meant to mirror the polar lights. This airline will be perfect." Hamdan smiled enthusiastically. "You certainly have this all planned out. That's great. I'm going to begin running up cost and I'll get back to you tomorrow, I'd love to begin working on this." "And I'm glad to have you on board" said President Mujahid as he walked Minister Hamdan out of his office. Edited by U.A.E, Feb 19 2018, 12:49 AM.
