Mohammed Zawawi Chief of Trade for Ministry of International Relations released a statement on behalf of the Amirati government giving their opinion on the situation. "The Gaedic government is not primitive. They have recognized our astonishing growth in economics despite the sanctions, in fact we have grown so much economically that Gaedic companies have placed headquarters within the U.A.E being that we are financially stable. We simply didn't trade with the GCU in order to avoid the sanctions between our states. We still traded with other nations across the Bab El Mandeb thanks to our bridge and the Red Sea using our ships which helped boost our economy. We successfully shifted our economic focus from trade to tourism and it has benefited us by propelling us into the 21st century as the head of culture and economics of the Middle East. With our largely tourism based economy we have strived to rebuild many nations in the Middle East and develop nations that are more economically stable by investing in them. With the lifting of the sanctions we have chosen to work out a trade agreement once more at a moderate level to export oil to the GCU. We also plan to establish some sort of training exercise between our two nations so that militarily we can successfully repel attacks in the Middle East. After the Gaedic Amirati War there have been a severing in all ties, even though Gaedic civilians still travelled to the U.A.E and opened business headquarters here. Even though there was a victory on the side of the ULAR and the U.A.E we hold no animosity or economic sanctions upon the GCU which was greatly expressed when we supported the Gaedic government in expelling terrorist from the Sinai with close air support and naval bombardments. We hope to successfully rebuild a relationship not necessarily as friends, but as allies". Edited by U.A.E, Nov 14 2015, 04:47 PM.
