The final two candidates for the 2015 Gaesch-Sudan Protectorate Presidential elections have been chosen by process of elimination. Now the question is, who will lead the people of Sudan?

"Work is the curse of the drinking classes."

The Republic of Porcu continues its opposition against this illegitimate exercise by the Gaedic Caliphate and will not recognize the results of this election.

The Republic of Greater Cape stands with the honourable Republic of Porcu in not recognizing this pseudo-democratic exercise in vanity. Greater Cape calls upon the entirety of the international community in boycotting this "election" and demanding the immediate withdrawal of Gaedic forces from the occupied Sudanese badlands.

Darfur, Sudan

As the press conference began, Ankha sat quietly at his position among a row of twelve others along a smooth white table. As quickly as it began, the question piled through

"Mr. Ankha, Larry Gilmore from VICE News. One question I have, concerns the protection of Austrian and Whaladyan refugees and more specifically, the refugee crisis in a broad aspect."
Ankha peered into Gilmore's eyes, uttering a phrase that would be his boldest yet
"I welcome refugees into this nation, of course with great and moderate limitations. I myself, and my family, were refugees during the 60's when the Gaesch Independence movement swept through. I personally support nations that accept refugees, and I hope that more and more people recognize the human value that is at stake here."

Official Statement
F.U.A.N
The Federation of United African Nations will not recognize the results of these elections, echoing the sentiments of our allies in Porcu and the Greater Cape. These elections mock the principles of liberty for which the true democratic process is built upon. The Caliphate must recognize that the international community will not stand for this charade and will resist this blatant act of imperialism.

Though the U.A.E attempts to maintain a strong relationship with other regional nations in the U.A.E, and though we supported the Gaedic military in operations against the GJI terrorist, we are in full opposition to this vote and urge other regional powers such as ourself to participate in this boycott.
