One copper bullet, was all it took, to kill the innocent. It was not an exceptionally expensive kind of bullet. Rather, an ordinary one at best. The type of bullet one may choose to purchase from an ammunition factory or a local shop - if it were to be made legal in Yoloys. However, it is not. Which is why, this one bullet - an insignificant one at that - is curiously interesting. For it was this one copper bullet, which resulted in the death of an innocent. The innocent, was a man. Early to mid forties. Intelligent, friendly, somewhat naive. The type of man, who would put others before himself. A character trait which is rare to come by; in modern day society. Ultimately, it was this trait, which may have inadvertently led to his untimely demise. Now, this particular individual, was a man born into extreme wealth. Palaces and servants, holidays abroad, formal dinner parties and the best possible education fit for a person of his social class. This particular individual was no heir or wealthy tycoon - he was a royal. In fact, a ruler of a nation. The copper bullet had not killed any ordinary person; it had killed the Tsar of Yoloys. Tsar Azil of Yoloys has been killed. Tsar Azil of Yoloys has been assassinated. |

Huzan stood in disbelief, tears slowly starting to well up. Lowering his gaze towards the red carpet of the drawing room. A solemn figure stood nearby, clasping her hands in discomfort. It was his cousin - the Duchess Kasae, eldest daughter of Duke Ahzad - who broke the news of his father's untimely demise. "I don't know how to tell you....but...but..but....Azil....I mean Azil Uncle..." she stuttered, unsure what to say. "Well, what it is?" he said rather moodily. Huzan was busy revising, he didn't care about what Kasae had to say. It was probably something immature or stupid - to try to annoy him into doing her a favour. "He's....he's...dead..." Kasae blurted out. "What?" replied a shocked Huzan. Did he hear correctly? "Azil Uncle is dead. Assassinated," was all she could muster. An orphan. Huzan and Hedeh were now virtually orphans - a dead mother, a murdered father. Now, it was up to him - for he was the eldest - to take over the duties of his deceased father. At age eighteen, Huzan would be the sixth youngest Tsar to rule the island nation of Yoloys. A position, which he would take with great care. For now though, Huzan will keep quiet and show his guests - Sultan Sharyan, President Mkeba and the various other leaders - how much of a mature and sensible young adult he is. The guests were set to arrive soon. |

The Libyan Airplane that carried the Libyan Royal family landed just after noon in the international airport in Nicosia to attend the funeral of late Tsar Azil who was assassinated a few days before by terrorist. The family was greeted by Libyan Ambassador Khalifa al-saif bin Dakfani who was the recently appointed Libyan Ambassador to Yoloys along with some officials from the Yoloyese Foreign Ministry who would welcome them to their country during this mourning and sadness time. Khalifa was the first to greet the Libyans along with welcoming to Yoloys before telling them that they were to meet the Yoloyese Royal Family along with being welcomed by Tsar Huzan to his country which received a nodded from the Sultan Sharyan. The royals walked to the waiting cars and the Yoloyese officials greeted them and told them their schedule for meeting Huzan and Hedah at the Imperial palace in about a hours time |

OOC: Sorry to tell you Ben, but Nicosia does not have an airport - in real life or in the NS Universe. Sorry to be rude! IC: It became apparent to the visiting royals that the death of Tsar Azil had literally shook the island nation to its weak foundation. Dull, empty, lifeless streets greeted the Libyan family. Shops were shuttered and closed. Not a single person was to be seen or heard - unusual, in comparison to the last visit. The atmosphere felt rather suffocating. Tsar Azil had been killed whilst attending the Spring Parade at Tsyjr - Martyrs - Square in Ejy. The middle-aged monarch had been giving a speech to a large crowd of students and the elderly, when the bullet was fired. The whole event was captured on live television footage, due to the Spring Parade being considered a national event of sorts. As the cars drove past, Sharyan chose not to look towards the eerie Tsyjr Square. The Azil - the human, not the Tsar - Sharyan remembers, was a young boy who wanted to explore the world. A black-haired child whose features alluded an oriental ancestry - the Imperial Family of Yoloys were ethnically considered Japanese with some Greek Cypriot heritage - and a smile which shone brighter than the sun itself. Sharyan could also remember how the boy would interact with his sisters. For a boy born into a family of mainly females, it was surprising to see him treating his siblings with great respect. Especially the eldest and youngest, Sharyan smirked as he recalled how boisterous Rojye and Lanya were - Sharyan's own children found the pair particularly frightening, especially Lanya; who was often described as being pure 'evil' and 'frightening'. How time has changed greatly. Sharyan was awaken from his thoughts, as the cars entered the compound of the Imperial Palace and there stood Huzan and his brother Hedeh, along with Duke Ahzad (the first cousin of Tsar Azil), his wife and the Duchess Kasae - awaiting to greet his guests. All were dressed in mourning clothes - black abayas for the women, white jubahs for the men. Edited by Yoloys, Apr 13 2015, 04:38 PM.

OCC: Didn't know that and thank you for the correction. IC: Sultan Sharyan and Queen Mayiassie were the first to get out of the car dress in black and white robes and approached the Yoloyese Imperial Family as the the other Libyans waited for their chance to give their condolences to the imperial family after the two monarchs have finished. Sharyan had one a sadden look that told a story of how much the Libyan had in honor and respected for his late friend who he had grow up with from his time as a young prince and his wife supported him as they reached the Yoloyese. Sharyan was the first to speak "Thank you Huzan for allowing me and my family to come to you late father's funeral and give you our condolences for your lose of your father who I had saw a nephew. No words could express how much the Libyan people mourn for the lost of Tsar Azil who they saw a honored ally and great leader who always had the interest of his people in his mind and heart." Huzan responded with a nod and spoke "You are always welcome here Sharyan Uncle along with your family for my father held you with great respect as a leader and friend to him and our people. We are grateful for your condolences and that you have come to mourn the death of my father with us." The two leader continued to talk as the other Libyan Royals stood near the cars with the Ambassador who wonder how much his leader respected the fallen Tsar and he turned to Crown Prince Mahmoud how was standing next to his brothers looking towards their fathers. He wait for one of them to turn towards him so he could break the tension in the air but they never did but he heard "They wouldn't knowledge you because they mourn for the lose of one of their father's close friend so it will be impossible for them to answer your questions" and he turned to see Prince Jabulah looking at him with Abdullah. Which Khalifa shift slight uncomfortable as he was being observed by two of the most powerful Libyans after the Sultan before responding "I know that His Majesty and Tsar Azil were close but I didn't know that the princes were too?". Abdullah responded "Yes the Princes were close friends with the Tsar and his siblings when their were younger. Which when you combined it with how my brother saw Tsar Azil as a nephew you understand that the relations with Yoloys ago far above those of governments to that of a family. Why do you think we never had a diplomatic treaty with Yoloys? Its not because we don't want one its because Sharyan has foster close relations with Azil and his father since he was the Crown Prince decades ago which has allowed us to have a mutual understanding and respect with the Yoloys." Which caused Khalifa to nod at the responds. |

After a lengthy trip involving several modes of transportation, the Capetonian President and his wife arrived in Nicosia. Although it felt to President Mkeba and his wife Grace that they had only just been in Yoloys for the happiest of occasions, their quick, if not brief, return to the island nation for the Tsar's funeral weighed heavy in their hearts. As the Capetonian First Couple's town car pulled up to the crowd of imperial family members, Mrs. Mkeba commented to her husband, "This is certainly a difficult time for everyone, isn't it? First the Gaedic Caliphate, now Yoloys...I'm worried for you, Kam." "Sweetheart, you have nothing to worry about. Greater Cape is happy with me...opinion polls show overwhelming support for me and the Rainbow Wave. Plus, by incorporating the Eastern Cape into the rest of the country, we have been able to decrease the GJI's presence in the area. Oh, there is the royal family..." Grace smiled sweetly to her husband and squeezed his hand. The two exited their vehicle and approached the grieving family. Expressing his deepest condolences, President Mkeba greeted the Yoloyese and Libyan monarchs and their families. |

"Welcome President Mkeba and Mrs Mkeba, I am honoured that you've flown all the way from the Greater Cape to attend the funeral of my father," said Huzan humbly. The young ruler shook the hand of President Mkeba, trying his best not to cry. Deep down, he wanted to cry - for he was not mentally or physically prepared to become leader of the Yoloysese people at such a young age. Sharyan was thinking to himself, when his son Mahmoud nudged him slightly. "Father, do you think that the funeral will be similar to that of an Islamic funeral - would the Daina's employ the use of Ghusl (spiritual cleansing) and the burial of dead?" asked Mahmoud quietly. The Crown Prince was still in shock in regards to the death of Azil. The idea of the man who once, many years ago, was a playmate for the Crown Prince during childhood and adolescence. The family friend who would come and visit during holidays and celebrations and was fun to be around with. Sharyan thought for a second before answering, "I suppose they do my son, but it's troubling for me to comprehend the situation itself. I cannot - and I must - come to terms with the death of Azil," "So do I, I just keep thinking back to Azil as being that kid - you know, when his family would visit us in Libya during my childhood - for those were a big part of my growing up and-" However, Mahmoud was unable to finish off what he was planning to say, as Hedeh and Duke Ahzad came over to the two men. "Excuse me for disturbing you gentlemen, but we're now heading inside. The Queen has gone with my wife and my eldest daughter, you two should come with us and sit," politely smiled Duke Ahzad. The Duke was a rather striking persona. The first cousin of Tsar Azil - his father and Tsar Yonoi were brothers - and father of three children, Duke Ahzad was similar to Azil in my ways due to physical features. This somewhat brought a sense of melancholy over both Sharyan and Mahmoud. The pair followed the Duke and Hedeh into the Imperial Palace. Inside, stood Tsar Huzan and the President of the Greater Cape. |

"Your highness, please accept my sincerest condolences for your and your country's loss. Tsar Azil was a great man, a great leader, and someone with whom I had hoped to become closer. I had only just recently met him at the wedding but I was struck by his poise and his graciousness. His passing is truly a great loss to us all," President Mkeba said to Tsar Huzan. "Ah, it appears that the Duke and your relatives are heading your way. Again, I'm truly sorry." President Mkeba bowed his head ever-so-slightly and walked over to a side of the room and sat down, offhandedly looking around for his wife, whom had been escorted away to remain with the other women for the duration of the funeral ceremony. |
