Private Posts: 10 Group: Members Member #814 Joined: August 2, 2014	Private Alim Alfarsi loosely griped the handles of the M2 Browning as the humvee bounced over rocks. He was half asleep, this was a routine run, so much so the brass had assigned his reserve unit to do it. All their gear was out of date. They were still using all the last generation American surplus, but Alim didn't care. Even if some how they did run into a fight the .50 caliber Browning was a big gun and would scare most of the local excuse for insurgents away with only a few rounds. Alim turned his head to look out at the skyline of El-Amin silhouetted in the distance as the humvee crested Burial Hill. The movement saved his life. A Russian made RPG detonated on the hood of the lead vehicle, the humvee disappeared into a ball of fire that sprayed the second humvee in line, with Alim in the gunner's seat, with shrapnel. A shard of the first vehicle's door filled the place where Alim's head had been. Shocked at what he just witnessed Alim sat motionless, after a few seconds his ears began to clear and he could hear his sergeant screaming at him. "Fire! FIRE, Alim!" The private, snapped out of his amazement and swung the M2 to face the contact. Alim watched a dogged band of men appear from rocks on the left of the convoy and open fire on them with kalashnikovs. Alim depressed the trigger on his gun and cut through the advance. The leading men fell as the high powered rounds tore into them. Alfarsi relaxed as he watched the survivors scatter and sighed. At that moment 7.62mm round entered the back of Alim's head and blew his brain and the majority of his face across the desert. "بذاءة," Sergeant El-Hashem swore, "Contact Right. We're surrounded. Someone get base on the line and get us some back up!" As the NCO spoke a second RPG detonated on the side of his humvee. Posted Image Official Statement From The Isabi Government At 20:23 hours local time a Military convoy of the 2nd mountain devision was attacked in Almas province. There were no survivors. The three High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle or Humvees and two M939 trucks they were escorting were all torched. It is currently believed that the terror group Gaesch Jamaat Islamiya was responsible for the attack. This act of terror and the group responsible are condemned by the government of Isab. We deem this as an act of war and will meet it as such. Those responsible will be found and will be brought to justice. Any further inquiries into the matter should be directed to the office of Defense Minister Al-hadimi.

This has been the third act of terrorism involving the Gaesch Jamaat Islamiya in so many days. Having been the location of the first of such attacks, the Republic of Greater Cape stands firmly with the government and people of Isab by vowing to work closely with the Isabi and Gaedic governments to bring to justice all those responsible for each of these heinous attacks. The Republic of Greater Cape thusly offers to open a dialogue and information-sharing network with the governments of Isab and the Gaedic Caliphate so as to better combat the Gaesch Jamaat Islamiya across the continent. Only by working together can we hope to stop such a destructive organization.

Private Posts: 10 Group: Members Member #814 Joined: August 2, 2014	Official communique from the Isabi Department of Defense To the Governments of The Republic of Greater Cape and the GCU Following the attacks from the terrorist group Gaesch Jamaat Islamiya in all three of our countries, the Government of Isab hopes for a united effort to put an end to the group and the threat it poses to the citizens of our fair nations. Isab is currently holding two suspected members of the group and would be willing to let either of your nations interrogate them. Furthermore, Isab would like to offer any military assistance possible to combat Gaesch Jamaat Islamiya. The Isabi government urges any information on the group be shared. Gaesch Jamaat Islamiya is an enemy to the sttate, and this attack proves that unified military action is required. As such, the Gaedic Government wishes their condolences for those maimed in the attack. As a result, the Gaedic Caliphate has sent 10 EH-60 Black Hawks and a C-130 Spectre to Isab to counter the terrorists. The GSS and GSI (Gaedic Secret Service and Gaedic Special Intelligience) has sent agents to Isab and Greater Cape. 10,000 Reserve soldiers are available to be sent to Greater Cape and Isab if necessary. We will do all we can to provide intelligence pertaining to the Gaesch Jamaat Islamiya. The GJI agents who were apprehended in Cape Town and extradited to the Gaedic Caliphate were still unable to be identified prior to their executions by the Gaedic government. After a forensics team was dispatched to the location, the only forms of identification that were found turned out to be falsified Capetonian passports and residency documents. The evidence found in their seemingly temporary residence in a Cape Town neighborhood near the airport indicated that they were indeed members of the GJI. What is certain, though, is that agents working within the GJI are apparently able to acquire travel and identification documentation incredibly easily. What is more, the men apprehended in Cape Town did not fit racial profiles different than those of the, admittedly diverse, average Capetonian. What I am trying to say, Minister Al-Hadimi, is that these men may have actually been Capetonian citizens all along. Given the mounting evidence, the Republic of Greater Cape urges vigilance on behalf of the Isabi government, considering future attacks may come equally as a surprise. Furthermore, the GJI very well may have become a truly international terrorist organization with cells operating in each of our countries, if not more.
