Private Posts: 17 Group: Members Member #799 Joined: January 20, 2014	Pidgin Republic News. 30 Jan 2015 Terror strikes in the capitol city and in the city of Samara, At 09:21 in Samara in the eastern part of Pidgin a car bomber prematurely blew himself up on Highway 3 just a quarter mile from the city building. It is suspected the city building was the target but the bomb detonated on the highway 3 off ramp to Libya road which caused the ramp to be closed for most of the day. Nobody died in the incident and no injuries were reported. In Kreet at 10:34 a second car bomb went off at Moros park on the north side of the city killing 1 and injuring 2. Then at 13:20 a gunman tried to storm the Parliament building with an AK-47 1 police officer was shot in the leg and a Republican Guardsman killed the gunman. It is unknown who was behind the attacks or if the bombings and gunman attacks are related. No groups have taken responsibility. Ministry of Information released this statement. "It is unknown who was behind these attacks, It is unusual for our nation to come under attacks like these but with some of the turmoil that has went on around our region it is possible a foreign group could be responsible." Pidgin is getting ready for National Day on 2 Feb. Flags have went up along the parade grounds. It will be shown live on TV the parade starts at 13:00. Some of the Military items we will see in the parade will include the PRT-77 Tank, PRM-95 Scud launcher, BM-21 Grad Launcher. Along with the flyover of the PRF-77 Fighter Aircraft, PRB-81 Long Range Bomber, Mig-29, PRF-107 Fighter. The parade will last about 3 hours.

The hearts of the Capetonian peoples go out to the families of the civilians in Pidgin who lost their lives yet commends the brave Republican Guardsman who stopped the shooter in the capital. The Republic of Greater Cape wishes to offer any available aid or services to the Pidgin Republic during this time of concern. Should our intelligence team become enlightened to information regarding the attacks around the Republic, Greater Cape would be proud to aid Pidgin in bringing those responsible to justice.
