Silence had broken in the small nation known as GCU, as the body of their dear president moved across the screen, escorted by his most trusted guards who survived the horrific massacre. "Miriam, Maleck wanted you to have this" said the President's guard. "Alright my dear, thank you." Miriam was the Prime Minister of the nation, and after hearing that her own country's president was assassinated, she was horrified. Police sirens brimmed the sky, as the cold of the night swept even the most battle hardened Marine's down. The long motorcade of Lincoln Town Cars, 32 Cars exact, circled the Antonov cargo plane that transported the President's body. Nearly 10 Million people gathered at the airport in Plac-Millaes, in one of the worst days in the country's history. The General of the Armed Forces moved past he line of government officials, before standing at the rose red podium, microphone inches from his mouth. "The saddest day, for our nation has felt, the assassination of our dear president. He entrusted me with our great Military, and I will ensure you that it was not in vain" The cries of people withered in the atmosphere, millions wondering, WHO could kill their leader? The one that ensured their rights, dignity, and national pride? Helicopters swarmed the airfield, as SWAT officers commanded Humvee's around the area. Special Forces soldiers dress in Battle Uniform fired their ceremonial rifles in the air, feet from the leader of the country they entrusted their lives with. Leader after leader, person after person, the speeches lasted two days. The burial was intense, 200,000 police officers guarding the grave site. It became clear who the Gaedic enemy was, and it was Jamaat Islamiya.

The government of the Republic of Greater Cape wishes to reiterate how sorry we are for the loss of the Caliph of the Gaedic Caliphate United. As the horrific murder of the Caliph took place in Cape Town, this government somehow feels responsible. The hearts of the Capetonian peoples are with the Gaedis this hour and this government affirms the power and strength of the people, of democracy, of diplomacy, and of justice. The Republic of Greater Cape assures the people of the Gaedic Caliphate United that we will do everything in our power to aid the Caliphate in bringing those responsible to justice.

At 03.00 this morning, a Gaesch Jamaat Islamiya safe house was raided in the neighborhood of Nooitgedacht near the Cape Town International Airport. The raid was carried out by an elite unit of the Capetonian Army, which, ironically, was outfitted with weapons purchased from the Gaedic government. A total of seven men were apprehended during the early morning raid. The men's identities are not yet known as they were not carrying passports but after running facial analyses, the men are confirmed to not be Capetonian residents. The building used by the men housed communication equipment, maps and travel itinerary of the assassinated Gaedi Caliph, and weapons similar to those found at the crime scene in the Cape Town Ritz.

The seven men are currently in custody in Cape Town. The Republic of Greater Cape will hold the GJI agents until they can be extradited to the Gaedic Caliphate.

In response to the horrible attack on the Caliph, the Imam of the Jumu'a Mosque of Cape Town released the following statement:
"I want this country, the Gaedic Caliphate, and the Muslims of the world to know that the events of last week were an abomination unto Allah. In no way do the Muslims of Greater Cape support violence. The Gaesch Jamaat Islamiya is an evil organization that does not and should not speak for the world's Muslims. My congregation and the Muslims of Greater Cape stand strong with the Gaedi people."

I speak on the behalf of all member of the New Muslim Brotherhood that we stand together with our brothers all around the world against the extremist who try to misrepresent or corrupt our lord's religion which was revealed to all the prophets. The organization additionally support Imam of the Jumu'a Mosque who called upon all our brothers and sister in humanity and faith to stand with our Gaedic brothers in their time of mourning their leader the President. We call upon our true followers of our religion to help degrade and bring to the end of the GJI who is trying to strong the peace between all religions all across the world and trying to start a global wave of terrorism against the representative of the people.

As the C130 skidded on the tarmac, Marines stood at the call to escort the prisoners. "You see General, these terrorists have been captured." The General looked out the window, "It wont be the same, Maleck? He was the best man I ever knew"
As the prisoners walked ina single file row, Marines pushed them into the police Ford Tahoe.

5 Hours later...

All the men, handcuffed and bowing down in orange jumpsuits, watched as the soldiers raised their rifles. A lieutenant looked up, before shouting "Ready, FIRE!" A barrage of 5.56 rounds scattered as the prisoners died their bloody death. "Alright, stop shooting!" The soldiers lowered their HK416 rifles, before lighting the pieces of the prisoners on fire and shouting "God willing, We will avenge!"

Although the Republic of Greater Cape sympathizes with the Gaedi people over the loss of their leader, we can not support such a blatant disregard for due process. This government understands that though the sheer amount of evidence mounted against the men would clearly indicate a guilty verdict, we still value the precedent of jurisprudence and stand by the opinion that the alleged criminals deserved a fair trial.

In retrospect, the Republic of Greater Cape would not have extradited the alleged criminals had this government known that they would not have been given their day in court. Rather, Greater Cape would have tried them in the Republic.

Despite the close friendship the Republic of Greater Cape and the Gaedic Caliphate United share, these events shall not be forgotten.

The Republic of Greater Cape firmly respects the national sovereignty of each country and the Gaedic Caliphate is no exception. However, as the events involving the alleged criminals took place beyond the confines of the Gaedlic Caliphate's territorial jurisdiction, national law is superseded by international law. The events in Cape Town affected not only the Gaedic Caliphate but the Republic of Greater Cape as well. Being an international matter, the Gaedic Caliphate had the responsibility of calling upon the office of the Special Prosecutor within the International High Court.
