From her office in Cape Town, Minister of State, Dr. Faith Shabangu, began to draft an official telegram to the newly-established government of the Republic of Chervona Rus.

Official Communique

To: The Government of the Republic of Chervona Rus

On behalf of the Capetonian government and the currently-abroad Minister of International and Peace Affairs, Mrs. Lynne Davies, I would like to offer formal recognition of your nation and its leadership. Ours is a young democracy in the south of the African Continent but we strongly value international diplomacy. As such, my government wishes to invite representatives from Chervona Rus to Cape Town so as to officially establish formal relations between our two democratic Republics. We certainly look forward to working closely with your government in the future and sincerely hope that we can strike a mutually beneficial agreement in the days to come.

-Dr. Faith Shabangu, Minister of State,
The Republic of Greater Cape, African Continent

After wiring the telegram to the Chervonorusian government, Dr. Shabangu sent an informal email to both Minister Davies and President Mkeba indicating the recent establishment of the Eastern European country as well as her actions to initiate contact between the two nations.
