A group of Saliki civilians hiking in the Hatay region of the CMESS today stumbled across a ghastly scene.

The gaggle of hikers came upon undermanned prison-like structure in the on the edge of the Anatolian plateau. Deciding to evade the few guards and braving being caught, they entered to find huge mounds of corpses about to be burned. Photos taken by the hikers show some are in Confederate officer uniforms, while others have clear Domigasque features. The group left before they were noticed, slipping back to Salik and contacting ICON and the media as soon as they could.

The Confederate government has refused statement thus far.

F.U.A.N
The Federation is extremely alarmed at the recent news coming from the CMESS in regards to possible violations of basic human rights, rights that may not codified by international law but are nevertheless adhered to by civilized nations. While we understand these initial reports are limited, we feel that this only highlights a deeper problem. We implore the CMESS leadership to address this issue and put an end to any authoritarian abuses to the people living within its borders.

Russian Empire
While the Russian Empire finds these initial reports disturbing, the Emperor feels that this is an internal matter for the Confederate State to handle. It warrants neither international attention nor intervention.

Transcaucasia
The State of Transcaucasia would like to official welcome any and all Domigasque people that may be under duress within the CMESS or anywhere in the world for that matter. The level of discrimination and, in some parts of the world, terror that has befallen a people that have done nothing is appalling. We would like to ensure to this unique people that in Transcaucasia, you can find peace.

The Gaedic Caliphate is appalled with the latest news, and would like to receive an official statement as to the possible case of violating human rights.

The Republic echoes the sentiments expressed by the F.U.A.N., the U.A.E., and the CGU and calls for Confederate officials to provide a statement explaining the horrendous details captured by Saliki civilians traveling within the Hatay region.

After an extensive and thorough debriefing of the hikers, the Republic of Salik is confirming the veracity of the claims and the photographs. Preliminary intelligence conducted by the Republic suggests that this is a sanctioned Confederate endeavor. While all states reserves the right to national sovereignty, these forthcomings are highly disturbing and provides a dark insight into the internal Confederate stability. The Republic will be increasing surveillance, naval, and border patrols along the CMESS borders. The government is forthright in the condemnation of the Confederate leaderships, and is asking for a meaningful solution to this dilemma.
