IC: "You hear what they are saying?!" yelled General Ali, "They want us to end our WMD stockpile! We are a secular nation! Running on the laws we made 2 centuries ago, we are not a right wing nation that threatens catastrophe, we will not!". The crowd watched as the general left the podium, entering his Mercedes S before scurrying away. |

IC: President Mujahid states "I am not for disarming chemical weapons and other WMDs however our law states that we can develop them in times of need which is what I support. And I felt in order to teach an army of an belligerent nation a lesson I must use my WMDs. The United Libyan Arab Republic my brother in laws nation was also attacked and so I felt it was only necessary to use WMDs. Mind you we have already ridded them but in preparation for any future conflicts our laws state we are allowed to build chemical weapons, nukes, and radiological weapons if needed to. We already have EMP missiles in hidden secret locations but don't use those unless necessary". |

"It is unfortunate that both of your nations feel this way" Secretary Nuru stated, "Perhaps more unfortunate that the representative of the Gaedic Caliphate choose to leave. Naturally, as I stated earlier my statement was only a suggestion, not a demand as the Federation's role here was only to facilitate peace not to dictate it. Our statement regarding the WMDs was meant as a suggestion as the Federation personally feels that no civilized nations requires such weapons to conduct its business. The Federation does not have such weapons and only such weapons ever found within our borders were purchased and maintained illegally. They have since been dismantled and disposed of and we are proud to state that no such weapons exist nor will they ever. However, we respect the sovereignty of your nation and that of the Gaedic Caliphate, if it is the belief of your people that such weapons are necessary, then so be it." "It is a shame that we were unable to get anything substantial accomplished. The means by which the Gaedic Caliphate conduct themselves are a bit perplexing to us and given their proximity to our own borders we will certainly continue to monitor any further hostilities by their leaders. We would like to assure the Allajadin leadership that a blockade of the Red Sea will not occur again, it is international waters and certainly not the territorial waters of one nation to blockade as they so choose. We also would like to extend aid to the Allajadin people as we were also willing to do for the Gaedic Caliphate had their representative remained. We hope your people can put this conflict behind them and move forward in prosperity. We would like to thank your nation, that of the United Libyan Arab Republic, and the observers from Porcu for your cooperation during this peace conference. Feel free to remain in Liberty City for as long as you wish, security and personal tour guides can be arranged for the remainder of your stay here in the city." Personally, Secretary Nuru felt defeated given that she'd failed to help facilitate any true peace agreement between the Gaedic Caliphate and the U.A.E. Undoubtedly, she knew that the Federation would need to gather more intelligence on the Gaedic Caliphate to understand their nation better, both culturally as well as politically. Nevertheless, her failure here would certainly not help the President and her administration against the growing critics back home in the capital of Aksum. |

Publius Vibius Pansa approached Secretary Nuru while his diplomatic counterpart gathered their things at the conclusion of the conference. Vibius Pansa thanked his host for her hospitality and added a word of encouragement before closing with a short, but firm statement of solidarity. "These are trying times, Madam Secretary. Unfortunately, it falls upon us to keep the peace, especially when upstarts and scoundrels do not reason." However, his closing remark was a little more direct. "I hope the Federation is capable of watching over its immediate neighbors." |

President Mujahid made a final statement before leaving. "The Federation and the U.A.E have a strong friendly relationship and so this should not effect us. However we are a peaceful nation not in the possession of WMDs unless necessary. We feel that we should be able to live in peace with our military in our nation because we wish to focus on tourism and better development of the already advanced U.A.E. We hope those in the Gaedic Caliphate and understand and respect that as we respect them. We hope no future conflict arises however if so one does we are always ready to put a nation down. We wish to protect ourselves and the Middle East from any outside invasions. We are a peaceful nation so conflict is out of the question, however our military is very strong and so it should not be looked down upon as we have proven ourselves time and time again. We just wish however to focus on our tourism industry and advanced development of the U.A.E. Tourist already love the U.A.E and millions make it their destination each year we would like to remain this way in peace. So we thank our allies, the Federation, and United Libyan Arab Republic for helping to keep that peace and removing all hostilities from our waters. We would also like to thank the Porcuians for establishing and maintaining an alliance as well, we promise you guys will be surprised during the Expo". General Aliman and Minister Mahmoud went back to the U.A.E across the Bab El Mandeb, as president Mujahid met up with his wife Heba the daughter of Sultan Sharyan in Liberty City so they could take a little vacation of their own in a fellow allied country that happens to be right across the water separating their nations. Sultan Sharyan gave his closing speech the delegates "I would like to thank the Federation for hosting these peace talk and all the delegates who came to attempt to make a lasting peace between the two sides to end the conflict which has cost the lives of many innocent people. I hope that your country's will have peace and I look forward to working with you in the future in creating peace in the world by diplomacy and negations." With that the three Libyans got up shook the hands of the remaining people and left to return home to run the Republic and Sharyan tolded his brother-in law Mujahid that he is always welcome in the Republic and hopes to see him in the future when Heba gives birth to his grandchild. The plane took off from Liberty City heading to the Republic controlled air space. |
