The U.A.E was already built up as it had only taken light damage in its capital city. However the GCU was still in much turmoil as oil wells still burned with smoke rising into the skies of GCU blocking any sights of the sun and clogging the sky of surrounding nations. Oil rained down in the GCU and most of the buildings had been leveled. The GCU presidential palace had suffered a partial collapse on its eastern wing. Many people were reporting to be unable to breathe right in the GCU.

The winners of the conflict was obvious

The Casualty rate stands as follows

GCU Casualty Rate:

6,456 Gaedic troops killed

7,543 troops Gaedic troops had been injured

102 Gaedic civilians had been killed

60 Gaedic civilians had been injured.

U.A.E Casualty Rate:

1,332 U.A.E troops had been killed

3,983 U.A.E troops had been injured

85 U.A.E civilians had been killed since most were moved to the Persian Gulf section of the country

30 civilians had been injured as most of them had been moved to the Persian Gulf Region

ULAR Casualty's:

1,069 ULAR troops killed

845 ULAR troops injured

36 ULAR civilians had been killed

70 ULAR civilians had been injured

The U.A.E was back to normal and everything had been repaired, the cease fire was called and peace talks could now begin on what to do with the heavily damaged GCU and over the 341 of 450 burning oil wells. The GCU is home to 450 oil wells in which 341 of them burn and 90 others are damaged the remaining 19 in country were left untouched. All the wells combined burn at a rate of 16 million barrels a day. A few times a day oil rains onto the desert and some city streets in the GCU and nearby countries. The oil in the desert will sometimes pool together forming oil lakes. Literally beds of pooled together oil in large quantities. It is estimated that it will take a month or two before all fires are turned off.

Tourism has returned to the U.A.E and all buildings have been repaired however the GCU has suffered much damage. Most of the buildings in the capital of the country have been leveled leaving an almost empty skyline besides for a few standing but damaged buildings. A shortage of blood has also hit the hospitals in the GCU. Peace negotiations however are just as critical.

Official Statement
F.U.A.N
The Federation of United African Nations would like to extend its willingness to host a peace conference between all belligerents in this crisis. The Liberian Capital of Liberty City can be made available and we believe it to be the perfect location for such a submit. However, the Federation will only agree to host and/or participate in peace negotiations as a mediating power only if all hostilities are ceased. Peace must return to our region of the world if economic development and social prosperity is to grow.

Sharyan gave a speech to the joint session of the People's General Congress about the Republic welcoming thd peace conference to resolve the conflict that arose from a breach in a peace conference of Muslim Nations. In the speech Sharyan announced that he will personally be leading the Republic delegation with his son Ali Fateh and brother Jabulah. He additionally announced that the government will be sending aid to help the citizens who are displace and injured in this bloody conflict. In other news the nation is getting back to normal with the funerals for the dead taking place all across the country and the medical hospital healing the injured. The EOD teams have swapped the country to remove the unexploded bomvs from the droids and checking the old compounds not in use which were hit.

The peace conference is to be attended by his own President Mujahid Ali Alsaeed, General Muhammad Aliman, Minister of Culture and Nationality Mahmoud Al Zawari. President Mujahid made a speech to his people "We were successful in defending the U.A.E and my brother in laws nation after sending 15,000 troops to his nation. Now we must come to a peace agreement between the GCU and our nations. United Libyan Arab Republic citizens are considered Amiratis in our eyes and so we defended them. We shall help them to fix up their nation as well. Which took a moderate amount of damage as opposed to the GCU. General Muhammad Aliman of the Army, Minister of Culture and Finance Mahmoud Al Zawari and myself shall be attending the peace talks in Liberty City just across the Bab El Mandeb. Since the U.A.E is already restored to its natural order and tourism state we will help those effected specifically the ULAR and help to put out the oil well fires we have caused in GCU. The worlds largest mall the current named Alsaeed Family Mall will be renamed in honor of those killed in the war to 'The Arab State Resistance Fighters Memorial Mall'. We shall be attending the conference as of tomorrow, Insha'Allah". Everyone clapped and President Mujahid went back to his palace. His wife Heba was to return home in a few hours to Assad.

The Republic is thankful that a halt to the conflict is being honored by all parties and that the loss of innocent lives has ceased. The Republic is hopeful of the possibility for a return to peace and confident in the Federation of United African Nations to oversee such negotiations. The Republic, of course, offers its assistance in any manner seen fit by the Federation or the belligerent parties.

OOC: Just a little reminder, we don't have oil. We use Natural Gas, which has a much different extraction project, so it would be impossible to blow up.

IC: Maybe we were both wrong Allajadin, we both used chemical WMD's and Drone strikes, which may or may not have been a good idea. GCU had been pretty quick to clean up, I should point out, due to a very high economic rating, and international ports from the Mediterranean and The Red Sea. Really Allajadin, we had the upmost advantage, we had blocked the whole red sea, obliterated AA installments on D-Day, and hired Heroin dealers to work Allajadin (But you wouldn't know that!). Anyways, GCU didn't really have to rebuild, as we only use cement and cheap furnishings. GCU's high economy mainly comes from its advantage in the shipping sector, with multiple shipping sites across GCU. It would be IMPOSSIBLE for Allajadin to reach the Sinai, it had no way to get their troops there. And we already sent RSOC to disrupt Military communications to troops who found their way into the Sinai. And no, more casualties doesn't necessarily mean a loss, the US had huge casualties in WW2, but they still won. This all goes down to really what one side could inflict to the other, Gaedic troops were only 50 Miles from Assad, Allajadin. And GCU has much more modern technology. HK416 Vs. AK-47? I don't suppose the latter would win. Either way, GCU is open to peace talks, as still Allajadin has, and I must confess, a very strong army.

OOC: This is the one everyone has agreed to just accept it, your army would be smaller and much less capable of defending against attacks from Ben and I we all have agreed upon these casualty rates as they are reasonable for the size of your army as a new country with an inexperienced military. This is reasonable as you are new going up against larger more experienced army's. Just join the peace negotiations. No one likes to lose but this is a much more reasonable casualty rate after facing two much more experienced army's with more troops. Which is reasonable enough to have 6,000+ casualties on your side after all. Plus 23,000+ wouldn't be right after all your army is inexperienced. Ben and my armies have proven themselves in battles and so this is a reasonable amount and consequence of fighting larger military forces x2, also the use of opium farmers is not recognized as I was not asked if it was okay for you to do this. There are guidelines to be followed. Plus the arid desert region wouldn't allow for this production as U.A.E is an import nation.
It is also impossible for the GCU to have more modern technology, as the U.A.E has been assisted in rebuilding after our civil war by foreign nations including the United African Federation. We are a lot more technologically advanced we have skyscrapers, the worlds largest mall and the worlds tallest building, the top universities in the Middle East, best hotels in the world and has highly advanced medical research facilities and hospitals . Check out the Expo vid. It tells a lot. Just face it one army vs two is a loss if you have a higher casualty rate, the US won in WW2 because the US had taken high casualties but dropped the atomic bombs and also with the help of a coalition pushed the Nazi's back. I'm not from US but know a great deal of American history. This would constitute as a cease fire and not a loss but GCU would have taken 5,000+ more soldier casualties just because our militaries in ULAR and U.A.E are much more experienced and battle tested as opposed to GCU. I'm pretty sure the others would agree upon this, by others I mean NRE and Ben as Ben was in the fight and NRE witnessed it.

No doubt the GCU is advanced but it is not as advanced as the U.A.E in the nationstates Middle East. But lets get on with the peace talks already though before this becomes cluttered and also gets out of hand. But if you have any more off topic questions just PM me it will be a lot easier and help to keep this on topic.

IC: President Mujahid arrived in Liberty City with General Aliman and Mahmoud they wait for the other delegations to join in to help call the conflict to a cease fire

Sultan Sharyan, Defense Minister Prince Jabulah, and Foreign Minister Ali Fateh board the airplane with Col. Abulma with the suitcase of the Republic's military options along with six Elite Islamic Palace Guards as protection to fly to Liberty City to attend the peace conference there. Sharyan was looking forward to getting some peace back in the region and hoped that everything could be resolved so the Third Medina Conference could be continued and his proposed amendment add to the charter. The plane landed at the airport and the six guards along with the delegation departed to go to the conference to meet the other delegates and his ally Mujahid again.

General Aliman walked towards the delegation of the ULAR. He immediately shook hands with the Defense Minister and they went to catch up on the reported casualties of the war before the meeting would begin. Foreign Minister went along with Minister of Culture and Nationality Mahmoud Al Zawari they began to converse about how to go about the meeting with the GCU delegation.

President Mujahid shook hands with Sultan Sharyan and said "Asalamu alaikum your highness, its good to see you again I haven't seen you since Heba and I traveled to the Republic. But anyway how is the damage in the republic? we are already back on our feet in the U.A.E all repairs are complete".

Sharyan returned the greeting to his close friend before answering "The damage is mostly to old compounds that we have really used in the last few year which are used to store dried grains and other types of supply to fed the regions encase of an emergency but the droids did hit some populated areas and destroyed the top floors of some of the buildings. We are fixing them up at the moment in should be done in a few days and the people have help us clean up the mess left by the explosions in the streets and compounds"

Liberty City, Liberia, Federation of United African Nations...

Posted Image

Of all the cities in the Federation, the Liberian capital of Liberty City was perhaps the most modern, the most urban of them all. Though it had its humble beginnings long before the territory of Liberia made a bid to join the Federation, the city had since become a nexus of sorts for urbanization in the Federation. For Aksum, Liberty City was to become a symbol of all things possible for the African people, what Democracy, liberty, and peace could bring Africa if the people of the continent only worked together for that goal. It was perhaps because its symbolic importance to peace and prosperity that the Federation choose the city as the location of the peace conference between the GCU and Allajadin. The war that erupted almost overnight between the two nations had caught the Federation quite off-guard. That the GCU had blockaded the Red Sea was the last straw in an already disturbing situation, the Federation was far too close to both nations to allow the bloodshed to continue, especially when reports came that chemical weapons could have and may have been used.

Secretary Zera Nuru, of the Federation's Foreign Secretariat did not have many international credentials to speak of, she'd never been apart of any official delegations nor traveled much outside the Africa either for private pleasure or business. Still, President Defar had seen much potential in her former presidential opponent and believe her great oratory skills would be useful to her administration in diplomacy. More importantly she was a very personable individual, people generally liked her and she seemed to be the kind of person that always found a way at carrying a conversation with anyone she met. The Secretary herself came to the meeting with confidence, she after all knew that a war between these two states close to the Federation's own borders created a security issue the Federation itself could not ignore. Furthermore, the Federation had diplomatic ties with Allajadin and though these ties were still very much in their infancy, the Federation was hopeful that they would grow and that the nation would be a strong party in securing peace within the immediate region. The Federation choose the city's own administrative tower as the location of the conference. Its own conference room spanned almost the entirety of a single floor, a floor near the towers apex. Not only was it lavishly furnished but the windows gave an almost completely unhindered panoramic view of the city's own skyline. Security was high, naturally so, but the delegate's own arrivals came as scheduled and after everyone was greeted, shown their seats, Secretary Nuru opened the discussion.

"Honored delegates, allow me first and foremost to welcome you on behalf of the Federation of United African Nations to liberty City. The Federation is eager to see a formal end to the hostilities that has threatened the otherwise peaceful nature of this region of the world. The Federation, as well as myself personally, believe that neither of your nations truly wish for war and that this conflict is predicated on misunderstandings and not facts. Be that as it may, however, this conflict has caused many innocent deaths as well as the use of chemical weapons. This is, in the eyes of the Federation, completely irresponsible as such weapons should only be used as a last resort, and even then, after great debate and contemplation. We may never truly know the environmental impact that these weapons will have of the regions they were released upon."

"This being said" the Secretary stated as she began to conclude, "I am not here to pass judgement on either of your nations. What has been done , is done, and while we may not condone these actions we recognize that for your nations they appeared to be the only courses of actions. What I would like to do is open the floor now to you, Ambassador Abdullah. I would like to hear what the GCU hopes to accomplish here at this conference."

The U.A.E hopes inshAllah to get peace between our nations we already have peaceful relations between us and the ULAR to the point that Amiratis consider us one in the same. Not saying we hope for an alliance of this strength but peaceful relations to which a nation such as the GCU can respect the U.A.E as a friendly peaceful Muslim nation with a strong military. We also hope to have the Muslim Brotherhoodas a peaceful Muslim organizaton for Muslim nations and leaders.

Sharyan supported his friend and his speech about the Muslim Brotherhood "Like my esteem friend has said that we seek peace and understanding between your nation and ours to keep the stability that the Republic and Al Whaladya have created along with U.A.E. has help build upon in our region. Like my friend stated the peaceful relations between our nations have created that our people see each other as one people with different governments but still united in the ways of peace and our faith. As for the Muslim Brotherhood we are not a terrorist organization and we don't support terrorism in any ways as we are just an organization that wishes to create a place where all Muslims can talk and form an united voice to help spread our faith along with peace to the world. GCU we hope inshallah that you will join us in keeping the peace and respect that we are peaceloving people who just want to have peace to be created in our region so no nation will try to destroy another because of who they are or what beliefs they follow."

The gas chambers exploded as men in "astronaut suits" rush to clear the mess that lay wake due to the war. Gaedic peace ops have been turning brightly, as the country has somewhat quickly recovered. GCU has resumed trading with Natural Gas and has since then seen a large boost in the economy.

OOC: GCU, recognize it shares the same name as the real life organization but has nothing to do with it, stop being hard headed

General Aliman made a statement "You must recognize this organization is peaceful, with you not agreeing to accept the organization as a peaceful one is only bringing more instability to the region. Now our nations ULAR and U.A.E have an agreement between our citizens that tourism is allowed between our peoples. And this is what the U.A.E focuses on. Tourism. Tourist from all over the Middle East, Europe, North America and Asia travel to the U.A.E for vacation. Many designer companies, businesses, and even modernized skyscrapers to the point that nobody has seen them before have been constructed in the U.A.E. We don't want problems as it hurts our industry. The more war that is brought the more all of our economies are effected. Please just come to an agreement to which the Muslim Brotherhood a peaceful organization of the Middle East that allows Muslim nations, leaders and imams to seek refuge and work out issues between the sects of Islam. To which it was successful in bring peace between Shia and Sunni Muslims. Its a peaceful organization, with peaceful nations, trust me we don't want problems, but remember our militaries are very powerful and so starting problems is like tossing a hornets nest into a fire. It doesn't mix. We only want peace and sorry to blame you but the nation of the GCU is the one at fault here, not us. The U.A.Es Secretary of Sharia Law Imam Taif Ali Alhamzeh was very offended at the stealing of religious documents. To which the documents proposed a new mosque to be built in the U.A.E in the wake of the Expo, as well as the peace that has been made between Sunni and Shia Muslims in the U.A.E. Besides the U.A.E is hosting the world Expo. We can't have hostilities between our nations as this is only bringing dangers to the Expo and the nations and people from all over the world represented there".

OOC: If we can, lets re-frame from any out of character banter. I think we can settle this through the story itself.

IC:
Zera shook her head before holding up a hand for pause. "Whether or not the Gaedic Caliphate supports the Muslim Brotherhood" Secretary Nuru stated calmly, "is not what we've come to discuss at this meeting. However, I will admit that I am a bit confused as to the nature of the Caliphate's views on the Muslim Brotherhood. The organization's own charter does not support extremism. At any rate, again this conference was not call to force the Gaedic Caliphate in supporting the Muslim Brotherhood."

"What we are here for is peace between the Gaedic Caliphate and that of the U.A.E. Thankfully, both of you recognize that peace must be established, if for no other reason that for the safety of your people. However, if this brief conflict has shown us anything, it also reminds us that in times of war it is not only the belligerent forces whose lives are put at risk during the fighting. I will remind all delegates that the Federation is here only the mediate, to propose solutions to the problem, but in no way dictate the outcome of these proceedings. It will, ultimately, be up to all belligerent parties involved to compromise on a solution to formally end the hostilities between your two nations. With that in mind, I think we can all agree that from this conference there must be certain agreements made by all parties that not only secures peace now but for generations to come. The Federation believes strong in the completely disuse of chemical weapons, as they are hardly ever localized and have consequences on the environment that are sometimes overlooked. With that in mind, the Federation would like to first suggest that as a show of good faith for the peace both nations wish to established, that the Gaedic Caliphate and the U.A.E agree to the disarmament and destruction of their chemical weapons stockpile."
