Civilian ships from Allajadin will be captured and any crew kept prisoner and/or killed if necessary. Military stealth submarined and ships from Allajadin will instead be destroyed if attempting to disobey Gaedic command to retreat. ALL ACTIONS DEEMED A THREAT TO THE GAEDIC CALIPHATE UNITED WILL BE MET WITH HOSTILITY AND/OR MILITARY ACTION.

Member Posts: 659 Group: Members Member #738 Joined: September 25, 2012	The International Fleet Squadron 8 was sailing towards the Red Sea escorting part of the trade fleet to carry goods to the Libyan Repiblic and Europe to trade when the forward ships made contact with ships blockading the Red Sea and as they got closer they saw the GCU flag on the ships. The captain radioed back to the Rear Admiral to report the blockade they discover amd within a hour the whole squadron where positioned at the blockade and the captains of the ships reported to the flagship to discuss the options. The Read Admiral talked with the captains and they decided to report this to the Sutan and call the GCU warships asking if they were blockading all ships both friendly and enemy entering the sea and the suez canal. The Rear Admiral called the blockade by radio with the message "GCU Military Blockade, GCU Military Blocade this isthe Republic International Fleet Squadron 8 when request that you make clear your intentions by blockading the sea. Will you allow all shipa friendly and hostile pass though the sea and enter the Suez Canal. If you don't allow all ships friendly and hostile they you are breaking international maritime law and violating the Convention of Constantinople allowing all ships the use of the Suez Canal by de facto the Red Sea. If you don't follow this law and treaty then we will ask the ICON to take full control of the Suez canal and Red Sea from you and impose economic sanctions against your country until it see that you have been punish for breaking international maritime law and the convention of Constantinople.

Arab Nation Posts: 232 Group: Members Member #813 Joined: July 21, 2014	The Gaedic Caliphate released a statement "We respect maritime law, but we do not run on a de facto basis. GCU has ordered ships to take another route as to not disrupt the flow of goods. GCU has full access to the Suez Canal on land and has ordered all naval forces patrolling in the area to remain fully operational."

The Gaedic Caliphate has been fighting a war against the terrorist insurgency in Allajadin. GCU is currently running Military Operations and does not want to endanger civilian craft.

Porcuian merchant and civilian maritime vessels, as well as civilian vessels belonging to other non-belligerent nations, should be provided access to the Canal. The Republic is concerned that this decision, coupled with a continued escalation of violence, will only serve to destabilize the Middle East - just at the moment when international cooperation is required to bring stability and peace to Yoloys.

GCU was bringing stability and aid to Yoloys until GCU had to deal with the Extremists. The War on Terror has its consequences.

The Red Sea is an international body of water and not the sole property of one nation. While we recognize that the GCU believes it is acting in its own best interest with regards to belligerent actions taken against it by Allajadin, the Federation recognizes that belligerence has occurred on both sides. In the name of peace and stability, the Federation demands that all military ships operating in the Red Sea in this so-called blockade be recalled to the GCU coast. The Federation however, recognizes the Suez Canal as the sovereign territory of the GCU and while we may disagree with your decision to disrupt trade through it, we do not officially protest this point. In a show of good-faith on the part of the Federation, President Defar will use the Federation's diplomatic influence with Allajadin to cease all hostilities on their part. This conflict had already cost far more lives than is acceptable, it is time that peace be restore in this region of the world. Recognize, however, that failure to end your military campaign in the Red Sea will force the Federation to take military action to end this military campaign due to the severe security risk it poses to Federation ports in Eritrea and Djibouti.

Arab Nation Posts: 232 Group: Members Member #813 Joined: July 21, 2014	As a response to the peace accords, Gaedic Naval forces retreated from the whole Red Sea and the Suez Canal. Civilian trade has finally resumed.
