Whilst the rest of Yoloys, mourn the loss of Vera Uliyn, a large collective of heavily armed civilians ambushed the International Hotel in Ejy.

At around 1.00 p.m. (local time), several unidentified individuals entered the lobby of the hotel and released five rounds of ammunition onto unsuspecting victims. This resulted in the deaths of six hotel staff and eight foreign diplomats.

The corpse of one individual was practically torn apart by the sheer force of the numerous bullets.

As the several individuals left the wreckage of the lobby behind, one member spray-painted the words "Zatjyo Nē Sakyal" or "Children of the Crane" on the front of the main reception desk.

OOC: Ben, I'm a bit confused about your nation. Its located on the Caspian Sea, right? How does it have a navy outside of the Caspian?

I have a naval fleet called the International Fleet which protects the trade fleet all around the world.

IC: Sultan Sharyan, Defense Minister Jabulah, and Major General Abu Sifda who was appointed as the commander of peacekeeping office all seat in the main planning room. When the Whaladyan delegation came in the meeting start with Brigadier-General Bharazani who greeted them. Jabulah was the first to talk "we are at the moment ordering a division of the Army and one squadron of the International fleet to start massing to move out at a moment notice. Also we have the Fifth Task Force which will be providing logistics of food and medical supplies which is moving to meet your forces."

Tsar Azil needed to sort the situation out fast. Without even thinking, he picked up his Sat Nav phone and dialled. He waited, before someone on the other line decided to pick up.

"Hello, sorry for disturbing you but Minister Jabulah - I need help"

Good evening, welcome to "News At Ten", I'm Noura Sigaaz. The death of a young girl in Mojyke has led to the deaths of twenty unarmed civilians. The International Hotel in Ejy, was ambushed by a group of seven unidentified individuals at around 1.00 p.m. (local time). Numerous witnesses claim that the seven individuals belonged to a prominent Alevi militia; Children of the Crane. Police officials have declined to comment. However, Tsar Azil has released the following statement;

"Children of Yoloys, our great nation is tearing apart at the seams. If we do not try to resolve the situation through peaceful means, I'm afraid that we will burn"

Martial Law has been declared throughout Yoloys by the National Council. It will be in effect from tomorrow morning. As well as this, a travel ban has been placed on all Yoloyese nationals by the Middle East Council.

Ejy was burning.

Nicosia was burning.

Yoloys was burning.

The Middle East was burning.

One single mistake.

Can ignite a war.

Somewhere in Ejy, a middle-aged man is on the telephone. His face is filled with anxiety and exhaustion. The dial tone caused the inside of his skull to erupt in pain. "Hurry up," he whispered. Finally, someone picked up. The man smiled softly to himself.

"Hello? Salaam? Yes - may I speak to the leaders of Whaladya and Libya. Yes, as soon as possible - it's Tsar Azil of Yoloys," the man managed to wheeze.

This was his last attempt at peace. If his plan failed, Tsar Azil would have to watch in silence, as his beloved homeland will disintegrate before his very eyes.

As the military conference was going the four sons of Sharyan were trying to keep the chaos of the executive palace under control since the crisis began the different foreign Nationals were calling along with important islamic and tribal leaders. Mahound at the moment was answering the question and concerns of the Islamic clergy and the tribal leaders of the region. Hamza was running the military moblization plans following his father's instructions. Khalifa was keeping the protests that were taking place calling for the invasion of the island nation to bring justice to those who killed their countryman. Ali Fateh was seating behind his fathers desk talking to the Prime Minister Hassam of his country's ally Al Whaladya when the secretary came in to tell him that there was a call from the Tzar of Yoloys on the other line he told Hassam to hang on as he put him on hold. He picked up the other line "Salaam your excellency Tsar Azil what can i help with at the moment?" The Tsar responded with the greeting before asking to speak to his father and Emir Faraz which Ali Fateh responded with "Will me father at the moment is in a high level meeting but I will pass the message on to him at the earliest time and I will tell the Emir of your request my counterpart and I will tell you of our leaders' responds your excellency"

OOC: I'm enjoying this very much :). Also, Yoloys, just so your aware, the forum allows you complete freedom to dictate how you want this to play out domestically. So, you can either deny us an invasion, allows us free range to develop this step by step, or you can PM us individually to discuss it.

IC:

Bharazani nodded and smiled at Jabulah's response. He had always respected the cooperation of the Libyans and both countries shared a very healthy friendship. Hopefully, their combined efforts would be enough to stop the situation in Yoloys from escalating their own internal issues further.

"Excellent", he said, apparently pleased, "Two full regiments of Whaladyan Rangers will be able to link up with your intentional fleet by helicopter en route to Yoloys. We estimate that our combined forces should be able to secure Yoloys within a period of 3 days. The entire operation should, God willing, take no longer than a month, but we are prepared to sustain our stay in Yoloys to a 5 month period should the need arise. What is the Republic's time schedule for occupation in Yoloys? Do you plan to remain in country with us after it has been secured?"

____

Meanwhile, one of Prime Minister Ali Hassam's routine discussions with Ali Fateh was interrupted by a phone call on the other line. Hassam was slightly confused as too what the exact nature of the call could be, but otherwise remained patient. He had grown accustomed to being "out of the loop", but that didn't mean he had grown to like it.

Hassam sat back in his chair a moment. He wondered why he hadn't spoken to the Emir in such a long time. Surely, something must have been the matter? Had the GFID let him anywhere near the Emir's Palace, Hassam would have found out the answer himself. It would appear that he, like every one else in Al Whaladya, would have to wait...

Suddenly, Hassam had another incoming call. "Salaam? This is Whaladyan Prime Minister Ali Hassam. Who is this?"

"Yes, Salaam, Mr. Prime Minister. This is Tsar Azil of Yoloys. I wish to discuss something very urgent with you."

Apparently, Tsar Azil was determined to speak with someone as soon as possible and had hung up on Ali Fatah.

"Ah, yes, it is a pleasure to meet you, your Majesty. What can I do for you?"

OOC: Don't plan a full-scale invasion yet! I've still got some things up my sleeve.

IC:

"Salaam Mr Hassam, may the spirits of Daina be with you - I need to talk to you about the current situation in Yoloys," the Tsar paused for a brief second, "and I also want to discuss the possibility of evacuating at-risk individuals,"
"Continue,"
"I understand that the Whaladyan Army has good intentions, however - a young girl has died, this therefore lit the spark for am even greater atrocity - the massacre at the International Hotel - if the countries of the Middle East don't solve this complex situation carefully, then I'm afraid that Yoloys will start to collapse onto itself,"
The Tsar felt sweat dripping down his forehead.
"The militias have gained considerable power in Yoloys, this is not a good sign. How do you propose to qualm these 'terror' groups?"

OOC: Don't worry ;). We'll wait for the green light from you before we go any further.

IC:

Ali Hassam scratched his forehead and stared out his office window.

"We'll your Majesty, unfortunately your asking the wrong person. I have had little contact with the Ministry of Defense about this issue and can only truly give you some speculative guesses."

"What?! You are the Prime Minister, are you not, Mr. Hassam?"

Hassam sighed into the phone and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Yes, but that means very little inside the Emirate."

"Well, can you give me any information? Any at all? Please, Mr. Hassam, lives are at stake!"

"I can assure you of one thing, your Majesty. The Whaladyan military will be swift and unflinching in its actions. If my observances of the Kurdistan conflict have taught me anything, its that my country will not deal with opposition lightly. These militias will be destroyed...along with any who harbor them...."

Sharyan answered this question this time "The Republic will be staying at the least a month to make shore an agreement can be reached to prevent an farther crisis from arsisng and if need we will stay up a six months to enforce the agreement. We plan after securing the whole country we be rotating the in some fresh soldiers every few weeks to keep the country in a state of peaceful setting. Additionally we be senting in an elite unit of the Army to reduce the power of the Milita from attempting seizing power over the country. I do have a question does the Whaladyan military plan to help us remove the militia from power and be present in the negiation of the agreement?"

OOC: Another insight into the lives of ordinary people in Yoloys. Does this make the role-play more interesting? Plus, I managed to spell crane wrong, *facepalm* oops!

IC:

"Who do you support?"
"You mean in football?"
"No, I mean with the militias - you're so dumb at times!"

Tabo could feel his cheeks go bright red.

With all the recent events happening so suddenly, the main topic on everybody's lips revolved around politics.

Having been brought up by two "apolitical" parents, Tabo couldn't care less about politics. For all he cared, the next Premier of Yoloys could be an Alevi!

Despite this secularised upbringing, most of friends didn't agree with Tabo's state of mind. Most of his friends were appalled at the fact, that he barely knew the names of some of Yoloys' most prominent politicians.

"If you do not know the names of some of our greatest politicians, how will you be able to cope in life?"
"You're Daina, you need to know this,"
"Foreign whore lover"

In his own personal opinion, Tabo was not bothered. He was much more concerned about his school-work rather than all this business with sectarianism and foreigners and religion.

OOC: I enjoy it thoroughly. It creates depth, which always makes writing these so much better.

IC:

Bharazani blinked twice at the Sultan's question. Did Sharyan really think the Whaladyan army would invade, cause chaos, and then leave without fixing the very problem which had caused the invasion in the first place? The Whaladyan smiled politely as he prepared his thoughts.

"Yes, your Majesty, the Whaladyan military will be integral in maintaining order and stability inside Yoloys. The very men we are sending have had almost a year's worth of experience with peacekeeping in Kurdistan and have the precise knowledge needed for this mission. We shall be with you until the job is done; which brings me to our next order of business. What does the Republic feel we should do with the Yoloyese government? In your opinion, should the Tsar remain in power, or should we urge the establishment of a new government?"
______________

Tarik calmly and methodically pushed a dirty rag into the muzzle of his AK-74 assault rifle. His negligence to clean it on the way to the encampment was now harshly reminding him that discipline was not something to be easily ignored - especially as his squad's first-sergeant. He licked his lips rhythmically as his finished up the maintenance.

"Hey Tarik!", a voice cried from the door to his tent. "Still cleaning your rifle, eh? Still think you'll need it when we ship out?"

The voice belonged to Faraj, Tarik's scrawny wise-cracking friend. Tarik looked up briefly and shook his head.

"Yes, Faraj, I imagine I'll need this when we ride into Nicosia where the whole Yoloyese population is waiting to kill us..."

"Cheer up, sergeant! The locals usually love us Rangers! Remember As Sulaymaniyah? They really liked us there..ya know, until Rashid shot that one guy for pointing that camera at us."

"I remember, Faraj. Hopefully, Yoloys is better than Kurdistan."

"Oh no doubt, Tarik! Beautiful beaches, roaring nightclubs, bloodthirsty infidels..what could possibly go wrong? Oh wait, that's right, the Whaladyan army is running the show! The same fucking idiots who send us into hostile cities with no air support, maps, or translators all with only the protection of a few loosely armored Soviet jeeps! I can't wait, Tarik!"

Tarik stopped a moment to look up at Faraj with a long blank stare; the one he often gave when Faraj talked too much.

"Fine...shutting up, but it is fucked up, Tarik"

"I know, buddy. I know"

The Fifth taskforce of the International fllet carrying the Whaladyan Rangers units to the rallying point where they would meet up with Republic's intervention division was before heading to the island. The Republic forces were under the control of Rear Admiral Duaz and Major General Shaivlo who was chosen because of his ability to bring conflicts to end with little blood shed. The two forces meet just before noon when they turned towards the nation to end the ports to secure the nation and stop the possible civil war from spreading to the region. This would be a hard fought battle but the two forces were shore they could accomplish it.

Several Miles off the coast of Mojyke, Yoloys..

Tarik looked out the circular window of the Mil-Mi 8 which was supposed to transport himself and the rest of his platoon into Yoloys. The bloated ex-soviet helicopter felt like a relic to the young platoon sergeant and he cursed his superiors for using such "death-traps" to transport men into battle. Outside, various Rangers from other companies scurried about the runway and began boarding their own helicopters. As the Mi 8's engine started to grumble and its tail rotor began to spin, the lump in Tarik's stomach felt much heavier. The invasion was beginning....

Slowly, the old bird lifted off the tarmac and began gliding off into the ocean. With each passing second the Libyan aircraft carrier, which had been their brief home, began to shrink and Tarik could witness the full size of the invasion fleet. It was surprisingly small; carriers, cruisers, destroyers, and supply ships all packed together in a tiny block formation. Tarik supposed the Libyans were unafraid of an aerial counterattack.

As a matter of fact, no one, not even the commanders, even knew whether or not the Yoloyese military would oppose the operation. Very little contact had been made with their government - a fact, which did not sit well will the Rangers. Tarik hoped they'd just step aside.

"Hey, Tarik! Look at that!", Faraj yelled. His narrow face was glued to the window watching a squadron of Whaladyan MiG-29s rocketed past.

Tarik watched as they elegantly swooped down to avoid the Yoloyese radar (and the Salikian MADIZ grid). It didn't take long for them to disappear into distance as quickly as they had arrived.

"Alhamdulillah! Blow them to hell you beautiful bastards!", Faraj exclaimed, his gaze still fixed out the window.

Tarik drooped his head down and said a small prayer. As he raised it up, his gaze shifted out the window. The island began to come into focus....

------

The MiG-29 squadron was the first of the invasion force to approach Yoloys. As the "first-strike" of the invasion, the MiGs were to target any enemy defensive installations not belonging to the Yoloyese army. These included any forward posts set up by the militias, and it appeared that Mojyke was heavily infested with enemy targets.

The squadron leader radioed his wing men to form a triangular pattern - the air signal coordinated with the Yoloyese army to communicate any friendly positions. Should they comply, they're installations would have been spared from coalition airstrikes. As the MiGs approached however, they were met with heavy AA fire from the ground. The army had either lost to the militias or they were actually firing on the Whaladyans!

Not truly caring one way or the other, the squadron leader ordered a full attack on the enemy emplacements. The MiGs descended like falcons; the wining from their frames against the wind sounding like the screeches of a pouncing bird of prey. Their fire was precise and accurate. After a few fly overs, most of the AA emplacements were neutralized, however a rather large building appeared to be returning fire. The MiG pilots showed no mercy and unleashed hell on the elegant building until it was reduced to rubble.

As they flew away back to the carriers, the full scope of the Whaladyan invasion force came into few. Farther down the coast, the Libyans were beginning their own assault on the city of Pafos.

The Lieutenant Colonel watched the screen as the early warning system played out in front of him. Weeks ago, this would have came a shock to him, but today, it was little more than routine. The briefings he had attended earlier in the month predicted such excursions, and by now he was anxious for it to begin. He studied the map closely. The Whaladyan's initial strike force had attempted to slip under the radar, despite the multilayered system that was utilized. The Lieutenant Colonel chuckled quietly to himself.

He reached for the nearby phone.

"My Qutb, it has begun."

-----------------------

Meanwhile...

With the 48 hour deadline passed, the naval strike began its move towards Atyen, the port city where most of the foreign nationals were being held. The Red Sea fleet, sailing through the Suez Canal, was brought up south of the strike force as support.

The transport ships made dock in Atyen. A small contingent of Salik forces exited, carrying both tactical equipment and medical supplied. Radio contact had been attempted with the Yoloyese officials earlier, yet to little success, and thus the Salik forces waited for a response to begin the evacuations. Intelligence had located the foreigners beforehand, but the military leadership had cautioned against a straight drive for the center, in order to diffuse any hostile perceptions.

Down the coast at Profas the the Libyan units were just landing on the beachs and port section of the city and secured a beach heading to stage their partof the intervention. The soldiers were given the task to clear most of the city of any militia to make the city safe to land the parts of their peacekeeping force. Amount the soldier was captian Balil who is a vetern of the Republic's Operation Desert Dawn as he was waiting to get off the boat his closet friend and his commander turned to him. "Well here we go again Balil fighting to save a area from destruction and civil war. I think this one will be easier then that last intervention into the southern border area to remove the A.I.M.Libya from the country." Balil shook his head before speaking "Inshallah for only Allah knows what will happen but I pray that we bring help to this country like our country men in 1975". The two men got off the boat to end a conflict that could ignite the region into a war zone never seen before. Off the coast in his command ship sat the Rear Admiral Duaz and his fellow leader Major General Shaivlo borh reading reports of the progress of the units securing the city. Just before 11 O'clock a message came from the Supreme General Hamza telling them that the Tsarista was just killed and it was possible by the militia and that the Sultan wanted the militiamen's heads on a plate. The two commanders eyes were no wide with shock before going to the bridge to announce the news. As they walked Duaz spoke " The militias are screw now aren't they? I don't think they even prepare understanding that now the Sultan is going to shifted from his usually calm and relax mood to a totally pissed off and destrutive mood." "Yep but its going to be fun watching as the militias get massacred by our soldiers" Shaivlo responded as they reached the bridge. The read admiral sent the following message to all the units "Attention, attention all units the following orders have been given to all army units by the order of His Majesty the Sultan he wants the militia destroyed and their heads on a plate for their crimes against the govenment. The reason for it the Tsarista has been killed by the milita and the Sultan his furious. He wants justice served to those respondable and wants everyone to pray to our Lord Allah for peace for the Tsarista amd for her country to see peace once again thank you" after this the Libyans' resolved only strengthen farther to help their fellow brothers in Yoloys know true peace.

A broken man has now replaced the once optimistic Tsar of Yoloys. The Imperial Palace is shrouded in sadness.

"I'll be fine, I promise"
"Are you sure? Shall I come with you?"
"No Azil, I'm only going to Mojyke to visit Ahzad and Ezuna,"
"I know my love, but with the recent troubles and that poor girl-"
"Azil stop being silly!"
"Zamei I love you, that's why I'm becoming so worried,"
"Don't worry, I'll be back home tomorrow - oh my look at the time! I must dash off now!"
"Bye my love,"
"Bye and remember to kiss Huzan and Hedeh goodnight for me - I love you with all my heart!"

It should have been him, not Zamei. Poor sweet innocent Zamei. Luckily, both his cousin and his wife (Duke Ahzad and Duchess Ezuna) survived the attack with only second-degree burns. However, despite being grateful that nobody else was killed in the attack - Tsar Azil believed deep down, that it was his fault Tsarista Zamei had perished.

Tsarista Zamei was only thirty-nine years old. She would have turned forty in June.

The children have not been informed of their mother's death. The Tsar feared that both of his offspring would blame him. He could imagine the scene playing out in his tortured mind:

Duke Huzan, the eldest child, would throw a fit and become enraged - attacking anything and anyone in his sight. The stocky sixteen year old was a body-builder compared to stick-thin Tsar Azil.

Duke Hedeh, the youngest child, would have most likely burst into tears. The quiet and often shy eleven year old, couldn't handle his emotions very well. The death of his mother, might cause him to become more withdrawn from society.

"Zamei, why did you have leave me now? I need you," the Tsar murmured to himself sadly.

The Sultan sat in his private sitting room finishing up his daily prayer when Prince Hamza walked in to report about the peacekeeping operation "Father the message has been successful received and the Admiral and General are telling the soldiers as we speak about the terrible attack. What is the next step are we going to take?" Sharyan turned to his son and responded "Well the next course of action would be to extended the Tsar are condolences along with offering a safe place for him and his family to stay if they chose to accept until the militias have been destroyed and crisis is over. After this we must start to plan the possible plan of creating an agreement which forms a reconcile government between the Tsar who will stay in power and the people to resolve their problems. Hamza tell your brother to send a message with our condolences and the offer then tell the peacekeeping operation to report if the situation escalates any farther so we can counter-act it with the need resources." With this Hamza nodded knowing his father wanted to be alone to organize his thoughts about the recent turn of events and walked to his brother's office to telling him what their father wanted.

Official Communication

The people of the United Libyan Arab Republic and His Majesty extended their condolences to you for the lost of your wife. The whole country mourns her death and our prayers that Lord Allah grants her entrances to heaven and the strength to continue on the path he has set before you. Additionally the Sultan wishes to offer that the Republic is safe place for any of your family or countryman to live in until the crisis is over and the militias are brought to justices for their crimes against your family and the people of Yoloys. The Sultan additionally states when peace is restored he invites you to a summit to create an agreement that will solve the issues of people and keep the current government structure in place to guide them to the path of reconcile and peace.

Under the faint hint of the early morning sun, the Salik squad maintained their position on the docks, silently awaiting the call to advance the operation. An hour passed and no response was had, despite the attempts by the radio communication team. The sound of sporadic gunfire soon emerged, and the team sprung back to life. An armored transport convoy was immediately assembled and the squad set out for the refugee center.

The crowd that had once gathered at the port to watch the Sufi soldiers unload were absent. A quiet port city is an unnatural one, and despite the early element of the operation, the streets were empty. Four miles into the city, down twisting roads and urban blocks, the squad reached the center. The refugee center stood as a massive building, once abandoned before being utilized as a savior to the foreign nationals. As the gunfire continued in the far distance, the squad entered the unguarded center, discovering far more refugees than previously reported. Intelligence reports an communique with the Yoloys officials had estimated anywhere from 100 to 150 foreign nationals and Salik citizens present at the refugee center, but the situation saw almost double that number. The convoy, only equipped with a carrying capacity of 150 civilians, could not adequately transport the refugees. The gunfire returned, although much closer. Unable and unwilling to risk a return trip, a portion of the squad left their positions at the perimeter and commandeered two freight trucks.

While the soldiers made final sweeps of the refugee center, several armed men were spotted by the outer perimeter. Under strict rules of engagement, the squad was prohibited on firing unless fired upon, and instead opted to fly a makeshift white flag. While the refugees were being loaded into the freights, the armed men doubled back, engaged in a firefight with another unseen force. As the convoy began its departure, the perimeter began its slow withdraw from the center. Stray bullets found their way across the city block and into the leg of an unlucky Salik soldier. Under the protection of an armored humvee, the squad completed its withdraw, escorting the remainder of the convoy to the docks. Safely in the loving arms of the Salik fleet, the foreign nationals began the trek back to the naval base in Tripoli.

Unbeknownst to the Salik soldiers and the civilians, a small team of plainclothes operatives from the Shahood Agency and the Finaa Order left the fleet and arrived at a smokey bar in the center of Atyen.

Mojyke..

The Whaladyan helicopters transporting the first waves of the invasion force landed without fault. After the MiGs had neutralized the enemy AA emplacements, the Rangers managed to disembark from their "death-traps" and began fanning out in all directions. Initially, the deserted beaches were extremely quiet. Ominously, too quiet for the front-line of a battlefield. The first Ranger squads who had landed immediately proceeded to their first objective - securing the city's key administrative buildings. Tarik's 2nd Platoon was tasked with the securing of the farthest of these buildings.

Because the nature of the situation was so calm, the Rangers had no problems unloading their ground vehicles from the landing crafts which were now reaching the shoreline every 10 or so minutes. Typically used as light infantry, the Rangers were accustomed to "making due" with shoddy equipment and little to no air/artillery support; therefore, the old ex-soviet trucks and light vehicles they were issued would be all they could rely on for the entire campaign. Tarik and his 60 man platoon entered their vehicles and began driving down the path leading from the beach towards the city streets. Almost immediately, the calm almost surreal atmosphere of the beach was replaced with a cold and unpleasant feeling oozing from the steep high rises and shifting alleyways. An ambush could come at any time, around any corner, and from practically anyone on the streets. The Rangers were ordered to fire upon any Yoloyese citizen who possessed - in the official wording - "A definite or immediate threat to any Whaladyan personnel." This meant Yoloyese civilians who appeared to be hostile and the Rangers made no distinctions between actual threats and offensive gestures. As the convoy rumbled down one main road, an older gentleman slung a pipe over his shoulder and a Whaladyan ranger promptly shot him dead. He mistook the pipe for an RPG..

Unfortunately, that older man would not be the only casualty of the day. What began as a "cake walk" for the Rangers soon became a maelstrom of indirect and indiscriminate small-arms fire. From high rises, alley ways, and rooftops the militias who had fled the beach began to reappear and fight back. Tarik's convoy began taking such heavy fire that he ordered the lead vehicle to proceed at high speeds down the road until they cleared the kill zone. The convoy would ultimately "run the gauntlet" for 10 whole minutes until the militia no longer were in range and an airstrike could be ordered on the hostile street. Freshly refueled attack helicopters descended quickly and lit the entire block up in hail of gun and rocket fire. Some militia men lie dead, but others escaped into the heart of the city. Several bodies of civilians also lined the road. Tarik's convoy suffered no injuries. With the firefight behind them, the Ranger convoy continued to their objective - the local municipal police station. The building appeared to be empty as the Whaladyans approached, but closer inspection revealed the police had barricaded themselves inside. Tarik dismounted his vehicle as the Rangers began searching for cover.

"Hey! You!", he called at a police officer who was staring from a 2nd story window. "Where the fuck is your military?"

The man didn't speak Whaladyan Arabic, and Tarik didn't have a translator - not the first time a communication issue would affect their mission.

"Why the hell are you all barricaded like women when you have militia running around openly?!"

Again the man remained silent and mumbled to his associates in his own language.

"This is ridiculous!", Tarik cried, looking now at his men. "They need to do their fucking jobs."

"What do we do, sergeant?" a private asked sheepishly. "We need to secure this building right?", asked another.

Tarik looked at the building and then at his vehicle. "We're just going to have to force ourselves in. They won't fire on us, so we can easily disarm them and hold them until we can get a translator up here. Hopefully, 3rd platoon will be up this way in a couple of hours. Alright, you have your orders. Let's go bust that door in!"

The Rangers took up positions around the building, while a small group approached the front door with bolt cutters. The Yoloyese policemen moved away from the door as the Whaladyans cut the lock and kicked it open. At first no one said anything, but as the Whaladyans filled into the station the policemen began to put their hands up and taking off their badges and holsters.

"We give up!", one officer said in broken Whaladyan, "You police now."

Faraj, who had oddly kept silent until now, couldn't contain himself and laughed openly.

"Is this guy serious?! Oh man, Tarik, no wonder this country's falling apart. Look at these guys!"

With the police promptly secured, the Rangers began slowly disarming them and locking them in the cells. It wasn't an ideal moment for Whaladyan-Yoloyese relations (and the police weren't a threat), however the Whaladyans needed them out of the way in case the militia decided to attack the building. As Tarik's 2nd Platoon secured the police station, elsewhere the Whaladyan forces were steadily clearing Mojyke of the militias. In a another day the city would be cleared and the Rangers could continue to the real prize - the capital, Nicosia.

Jana had been shot twice. Both bullets penetrated her right leg. The pain was unimaginable. Shock gripped her by the throat.
In retrospect, Jana was lucky.
Nearby, the body of her friend Meena laid stiff in a pool of blood. Meena wasn't moving. Despite Jana calling her name repeatedly, Meena's eyes remained wide-open and unblinking.
"Please Meena, wake up!" cried Jana. Hope slowly turned into tears.
The school-blouse Jana had been wearing had turned crimson with blood.

A few centimetres away from Jana and Meena, a father held his terrified young son close to his chest. "The bad guys are going to kill me! Daddy, they're going to kill me!"
The father was trying his best to keep the hysterical boy calm.
The father's voiced sounded worried and unsure, "Don't worry Tabo, they will not kill you - Daddy is here to protect you,"

Gunshots echoed across Mojyke. Wherever possible, the citizens of Mojyke hid. Some took shelter behind cars or dustbins. Others remained inside. An unfortunate few were forced to dive down onto the ground.

Solaiya Imperial Hospital, which was located on the outskirts of the city, became besieged with the injured. Doctors and nurses broke down in the middle of crowded corridors. Parents hoped for salvation. Children whisper solemn prayers of recovery. Wives weeped in silence. Husbands stood in disbelief.

Mojyke had been "conquered".

The invasion of Yoloys had truly began.

In Profas the Libyan Units meet little resistance since the city wasn't as important to the militia and had one of the most sacred shrines to the people. The Libyans were under strict orders of not to fire unless fired upon or to prevent conflict, secure the city so the main untis could come in to launch the all out war against tyhe militias. Additionally they must follow the rules set by their prophent Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) which was to not abuse the city, people, or nature. The whole city was secured in about half an hour before the meesage was sent back to the main peacekeeping force that the port was a green light. The transport ships start entering the harbor and the first person off the ship was Colonel Abulma who was the Sultan's personal military attache who had a stern face he walked into the city hall. He walk up the stairs to the Mayor's office where he delivered the message from the sultan stating until the conflict was over the port was closed before returning to the ship. The rest of day was spend unloading the and setting up camp and just as everything was done the city erupted in gun fire from the militia who fired from every area. The Libyans weren't phased and open fire with such great amount from position they create expecting the attack and pushed the few militia along with killing a few to send a message.
