Our homeland will become pure, The martyrs of Tsjyr Square will rise, People of Yoloys - rejoice in symphony, As the spirits of Daina protect our Tsar, Our homeland will become pure! (An extract from the National Anthem of Yoloys) Wednesday 19 March 2014 Nine died. Fourteen seriously injured. Eight managed to escape. A coach carrying thirty-one tourists, was attacked in broad daylight, by one of Yoloys' various militia groups. Struggling to cope in an increasingly polarised world, Yoloys is ready to ignite in flames. Edited by Yoloys, Mar 23 2014, 06:23 PM.

Odilia could feel the anger emitting from her fellow countrymen. It felt like the whole of Ejy was jammed-packed into Tsjyr Square. Alevis, Daina worshippers and Muslims. Sects became forgotten. Everyone was chanting in unison. "The people of Yoloys crave freedom!" Revolution was in the air. Despite the cold, everyone seemed to be emitting strong waves of heat. Cameras flashed, capturing the glory. Police stood in the distance, observing rather than dismantling the collective. Film crews, recorded every second. The flag of Yoloys waved proudly. Odilia felt extremelypatriotic. She had been the only one from her friendship group to be allowed to attend the protest. She was Yoloyese. In her opinion (many in Yoloys thought the same as well), those foreign horde of tourists deserved to die. They brought nothing but trouble. Yoloys will not be corrupted by the Middle East. Yoloys is independent and pure. |

Chancellor Bash Cumali broadcasted a message across the region. It was short and to the point, but his word held heavy meaning. Even if the Trabzon had been annihilated, the Confederacy was still a power for order in the region. Cumali would make sure of that. "If the State of Yoloys continues to oppress and attack the proletariat class of island of Cyprus, the Confederacy will see no other option but to enforce a stable peace on the island." President Sufjan Qutb sat on his balcony overlooking Jerusalem, pondering the recently unrest seen in Yoloys. This new upstart island nation was proving to be incredibly hostile in the short amount on time it had been in contact with the region. Despite calls for open dialogue and the promise of foreign aid, the Yoloys government has remained shockingly silent. Without any sort of governmental response, the violent protestors served as the only voice of the island nation, and that voice was less than pleasant to his ears. The militants viciously attacked foreign tourists, and rallies that have emerged in response have only embodied a thirst for more blood. This was quickly advancing to a dangerous situation, with the Salik media demanding reprisals against the militants that claimed the lives of Salik tourists. The first order of business was to ensure the safety of any remaining Sufis or Salik nationals. A naval strike group was ordered, consisting of two destroyers, a cruiser, and multiple transport ships, all of which would be supported by aircraft based out of Tripoli. The final message was broadcasted to the Yoloys government, reiterating the previous message and urging for the protection of foreigners and the opening of dialogue. If a response was not given within 48 hours, the naval group would dock and offer refuge for any foreigner. The situation was monitored closely, as the recently established MADIZ allowed for a constant surveillance of the cost and surrounding waters. Qutb waited for a response. |

With sleep deprivation tattooing the inside of his skull, Tsar Azil of Yoloys picked up his Sat Phone and dialled the President of Salik. It took about two times, before the call was finally answered. The voice of the Tsar was rather shaky and broken; "Salaam, may the spirits of Daina protect you and your family. I'm calling in response of your previous call. As I am inexperienced, I would greatly admire the help of the Middle East in helping to keep the peace in Yoloys. The Salik tourists are safe and under constant protection by the Yoloyese Army in the port city of Atyen - hopefully, my country won't erupt into Civil War," |

We should help to protect the peace you and the Emir have accomplished so far?" Jabulah asked and waited for the reply. Sharyan responded "I've already told Hamza to start moving the some of the International Fleet towards the area to supply some help in evacutioning and if needed going in to stop the war. I've also tolded Ali Fateh to spend a message to both Qutb and the Tsar though our embassies." Jabulah was surpised his brother was on top of everything already and he took a seat to find out what else he was planning.

"Hello? Salaam? Is this Emir Sharyan?" "Salaam, who is this?" "It's me, Tsar Azil. My father told me I should call you if my country was ever trouble," "Your father was a very good man," "I need your help, my father always used to tell me how your great nation managed to stop the 1975 Alevi Uprising from spiralling out of control," "Go on," "As you probably know, I have only been recently crowned in December. I'm inexperienced and naïve. Anyway, I'm unable to cope with the current situation - and I fear that a State of Emergency might have to be declared. Please, I need your help," |

Sharyan phone rang as he was talking with his brother about what the next course of action should be and he picked up the phone. On the other end was the Tsar Azil and he was asking for some help dealing with the crisis in his nation since his father help stop Alevi Uprising. " A course I'll see what I can do to stop and end the crisis from growing in size. Since the main issue we have seen is that the people of your country just wish to isolate themselves from the rest of the region. So we have why now they're feeling this way about the middle east is corrupting your country. Then it will reduce their anger and we can then find a way to please both sides of the crisis my friend." Sharyan tolded the new leader as he motioned for his brother to get the cabinet for a meeting in a few minutes to solve the crisis

OOC: To make things more interesting, I want everyone to see how ordinary citizens of Yoloys are feeling during this chaotic period. In school, they taught nationalism. In madrassah, they taught neutrality. In the streets, they taught brutality. The young boy felt confused. Before all the protesting and heated debates on television, he never had to really think about politics. That topic was reserved for adults only. Now, everyone was talking about it. "Hey Ihaab," said the young boy's best-friend, "do you think that Yoloys should become independent from the rest of the Middle East?" Ihaab didn't know how to answer the question correctly. His cheeks turned bright red with stupidity. As he was about to reply, a fight had just broken out in the school playground. A tough menacing-looking Year 6, was practically murdering a boy from Year 5. The victim was foreign - his blonde hair stood out among the rest of the black/brown haired pupils. "Take that you swine!" shouted the older boy laughingly. "You belong with the pigs, trying to poison our great nation with your flith!" The blonde-haired boy was crying for help. Ihaab couldn't move. He didn't dare intervene, or he would have been labelled a traitor to the martyrs of Tsjyr Square. Instead, he stood still - transfixed at his complete cowardice. Tears dripped slowly down his face. |

As military vehicles patrolled the streets of Yoloys, a hidden tension was bubbling up behind closed doors. Due to the lack of government influence, many resorted to protesting in the streets. Others however, went online to voice their opinions. For foreign nationals in the island nation, death was ready to pounce onto them at any given moment. |

The whole Cabinet along with senior leadership of both the Foreign Minister and Military were debating about the possible solution to the Yoloys Crisis and at the moment the Foreign Minister was talking " If this conflict should escalate beyond the border of the island this could cause the region to iginite into an all out religious war forcing brother against brother. This would destory thepeace his majesty is worked so hard to create with his majesty the Emir Farez of Al Whaladya have created for the future generation" when a message came into the room. The message bowed to the cabinet before walking to the Sultan and bowing on to the ground before giving him a letter. The letter was from their embassy in Yoloys about the riot which killed forty people including one of their kinsman. This started the begnning of possible Libyan military interventiin again in Yoloys |

Dayr-az-Zawr, Al Whaladya News of the most recent riot in Yoloys was the spark which set the attitude of the Whaladyan Foreign Service towards military intervention. With the recent devastating explosion of a nuclear facility in Aleppo, continued military occupation of Kurdistan, and now minor displays of solidarity from Sunni Muslims in the capital itself, the Emirate appeared to be bursting at the seems. The Emir's government had been slow to react to most of these issues, but with the increasing possibility of a sectarian religious conflict the Whaladyan authorities were placed on full alert. The demonstrations within Dayr-az-Zawr were quickly and silently "persuaded" to disband and return home. Meanwhile, the GFID went to work silently and ruthlessly stamping out any and all ring leaders; arresting them at night without any cause and detaining them indefinitely to deter any repeat demonstrations. For the time being, their efforts appeared to have worked and the streets and countryside appeared quiet. However, the Whaladyan government recognized that the issue in Yoloys would continue to incite dissent within Al Whaladya itself unless matters were taken by the military. In a rapid mobilization effort, remaining Whaladyan forces who were not stationed within Iraq were reorganized and transferred to the western border with the CMESS. In the meantime, a telegram was sent to the Libyans:
Despite reliance on the Libyans for naval support, the Whaladyan National Air force was equipped to transport two full regiments of rangers into the small island nation. Not wishing to act rashly though, the Whaladyans opted to display a show of force to the Yoloyese people before invading. At 2 P.M, two Whaladyan MiG-29s flew over Yoloyese airspace low enough to avoid radar, but in perfect view of a restless crowd. The sonic boom shook houses, broke windows, and showed the Yoloyese people that the Whaladyans were serious about defending their own. OOC: Don't worry, Yoloys. I won't invade or anything without your consent. I just want to "flex" Al Whaladya's muscles a bit :P |

The Joint Chiefs of Staff were meeting inthe National Defense Council room with the Sultan, Supreme General, Defense Minister, and the Foreign Minister to decide on what peacekeeping options. When one of the Foreign Ministry messagers came in and handed the Foreign Minister a message and stated it was from the Whaladyans about need some of the International Fleet ships to provide Food and Medical supplies. Sharyan looked up and knodded before speaking "Well it seems that we will be having some help from our Whaladyan Brothers end this conflict Ali Fateh send a message to Whaladyan Foreign Ministry we will grant their request for some ships. Hamza alerted the the fifth task force to move from the Suez canal coast to meet with the Whaladyans and tell the L.S.S Hifle to move their position just off the coast and sent one of their F-22 to recon below radar." The two princes knodded before bowing to their father and leaving after this Jabulah motioned for the Chiefs to leave before talking "So whats the plan this time are we going as like always or with a more peacekeeping tatctic?" "It depends what our allies do as this will be a joint mission" the two brothers talked about the possible tactics.

A small Whaladyan military jet liner cruised swiftly through Arab Libyan airspace towards its destination, United Libyan Sultan City. As the jet liner descended towards the city's airport, its two WNA MiG-29 escorts calmly tipped their wings and made an about-face back towards Al Whaladya. They were replaced by two freshly fueled escort fighters from a local Libyan airbase. Once the Whaladyans had properly landed and had passed through the necessary precautions, they were ushered into a limousine and rushed to the Libyan Ministry of Defense. The delegation did not compose of the Emir himself, however the Whaladyans sent a WNA Brigadier-General named Hamid Bharazani. The 55 year old Bharazani was a respectable military man with several years of experience in the Emirate's air-force. Should the discussion turn inevitably towards operational planning, no one was more suitable than Bharazani. "Salaam", he said quickly to the Libyan representatives, "It is an honor to work with the Emirate's most esteemed allies. Because I'm sure you are as concerned as we are, we may skip directly to the matter at hand. The situation inside Yoloys threatens to throw the entire region into a wider issue. We are both strong military powers inside the Middle East and it appears we have been the only ones quick enough to act decisively. Tell me, my friends, what size force is the Republic prepared to invest in Yoloys?" |

President Qutb was quick to respond. "The situation is becoming more volatile as time draws on. I need you to be entirely honest. To what extent does your government have over the territory of Yoloys? If needs be, I urge you to send a delegation to the International Commonwealth of Nations, and plead for a international peacekeeping force. This situation must be handled with utmost care, and peacefully above all else. In the meantime, I need permission to dock transport vessels in the port of Atyen in order to facilitate the evacuation of the foreigners." ----------- OOC: Ben, I'm a bit confused about your nation. Its located on the Caspian Sea, right? How does it have a navy outside of the Caspian? IC: The recent aerial excursion into Yoloys by the Whaladyans shocked the government of Salik. Despite public calls for an international peacekeeping force, the Whaladyans had made the first steps towards unilateral intervention. Salik intelligence had picked up on a massive mobilization of Whaladyan troops on the western border, just north of the Republic's territory. In response, the Mediterranean fleet was fully mobilized and placed within key locations in the MADIZ. The Red Sea fleet was brought up just south of the Suez canal, from its previous location in Aqaba. Diplomatic cables were sent out to various regional powers, urging a diplomatic resolution to the conflict. |
