After he prayed the Asr prayer, Caliph Suleman stands in the beaches of the country along with some of his ministers. The wind is calm and the sun is descending into the sky. He has a few long moments of peace and silence. He breathes in and out. He is thinking something.
As the days pass, the news is spread to all the nation. Everyone is happy and joyful about the further expansion. The army is ready and so is the navy. And as the Caliph stated, they will expand to the seas and become a great naval state. Posted Image The new expansion plan is as follows: the Suez Canal, the southward coast on the Red Sea, eastwards to the coast of Sinai and westward to the Mediterranean also acquiring Alexandria. The objective of all this: become the greatest Naval State in the Middle East. Edited by Caliphate of Misr, Jul 23 2013, 07:16 AM.

Open Communiqué The Republic of Porcu strongly opposes the expansion of Khilafate Sulemania into the Venetian territories of the Suez and Alexandria. There has been no indication from the local populace as to their desires to join the Khilafate Sulemania and the Republic will not recognize this annexation until a free and fair referendum has been concluded along international standards. |

The Republic position is neutral as long as the canal remains open to all ship without interference. The Republic was to still express that there should be at least a vote to voice the opinion of the regional people. The United Libyan Arab Republic gives partially recognition to your state and with holds judgement on this matter. -United Libyan Arab Republic The Libyan Republic position is refusing to accept and all claims to this area and will stand by the Federation's idea of democratic, universe human rights, and freedom of a sovereign people. The Libyan Republic will stand with the Republic of Porcu on this issue until a proper vote can be organize to state the will of the people. -United Transitional Libyan Republic Edited by BenC, Jul 25 2013, 07:21 PM.

Sufjan Qutb sat pondering, running his hands over his beard as he read the new intelligence briefing. A new Caliph had emerged in the West, taking the throne of the Nile. This upstart nation was now claiming lands in the Sinai, dangerously close to the Republic of Salik. Another bastard state has sprung from the ruins of the Romans, Qutb thought to himself. The news had been bad of late, with growing reports of separatists entering Salik through the southern borders. It would prove problematic if this new state began arming or harboring these separatists. Armed conflict was the last thing the Republic needed. It was vital that he move and make friendly contact with this Caliphate before the separatists did. Qutb furrowed his brow, this expansion put the Republic of Salik's naval monopoly at a risk. Aside the from false Roman state to the West, the Republic had the majority of the Middle Eastern coastline, and the power of the Mediterranean with it. With the collapse of the Roman Empire, they had inherited a large naval force as well, and so far it had served well. If the Caliphate became hostile, it could side with the false Romans and threaten Salik. A closure of the Suez would be just as devastating. Aqaba had a naval base, but the fleet there was much smaller than the one in the Mediterranean.

The Caliph Suleman considers all the responses that have arisen from the Middle Eastern Nations. He first explains that the Canal will remain open to all ships passing through with no changes in taxes or hostility. The reason for controlling the Suez is not to throw off the trade and economic structure, but instead, to ensure that the Caliphate to be considered as a powerful, but diplomatic nation, and to make sure the nation strives in naval and economic areas. Thus the economic state will be maintained and the sea path will remain open to all and all laws will encourage the trade. Secondly, the Caliphate will not do this operation like a barbaric siege, and is happy to consider the opinion of the regional population, as they are the nation's pride. The Nation will treat them kindly and with respect, and will act according to their opinions. The Caliph is ready to organize a meeting at Cairo to discuss the ongoing expansion, and invites the leaders of the Middle Eastern Nations. He is also inviting representatives from the Suez area to tell the responses from it's people. Edited by Caliphate of Misr, Jul 31 2013, 12:09 PM.

OoC: Do I have to create a new thread for the conference or will this do? The Caliph accepts the national leaders into the conference and still asks the other nation's to send delegates. The people of the Suez Area are also sending a representative names Idrees.
Signed, Caliph Suleman ibn Tariq Edited by Caliphate of Misr, Aug 2 2013, 06:37 AM.

Jabulah will be remaining here to continue running the country" responded Sharyan and Ali Fatah nodded before leaving "Good bye Father". |

Today was the Day of the M.N.E.Ks conference. The day was bright and warm, with the sun looking down from above. The Caliph and his council were standing in the airport, waiting the arrival of the Middle Eastern Nation's Representatives. All of the Nation was quite happy on this day, considering today was this special meeting, which would decide if the Caliphate would be able to Expand and control the Suez and other areas, making it a very economic and naval-vise powerful nation. A plane was landing on the Helipad right in front of the Council, and when it landed, the Caliph saw the Representatives, with which he would be talking with. He greeted them all with the Islamic Greeting of Peace and led them to the National Chambers. The conference had begun, and every person in the Nation, had their eyes and ears to the News, for this meeting would decide a lot, and it may change the Nation for ever. Then the Meeting finally began... Edited by Caliphate of Misr, Aug 5 2013, 01:26 AM.

Sultan Sharyan, Crown Prince Mahmound and the rested of the Republic delegation were the first to arrive at Cairo for the meeting. As they stepped off Caliph greeted Tariq with the Islamic Greeting of Peace which Sharyan returned before greeting him "Salaam Caliph Tariq and thank you for allowing this meeting along with welcoming us to your country" Sharyan continued by introducing the delegation "I would like to introduce my oldest son Crown Prince Mahmound, my younger son Prince Ali Fatah the Foreign Minister, and my chief naval advisor Katuqu and Navy Chief of Staff Grand Fleet Admiral Aizazuddin" each one bowed to the Caliph. Sharyan continued to talk about the meeting and asked if in the next few weeks the Caliph was interested in creating formal diplomatic relations between their two countries. |

Suleman told the Republic delegation that the didn't meed to bow before him and to call him Suleman instead of Caliph. Suleman continued thanked them for honoring his country and how they will be treated with kindness and respected as guested. He also told Sharyan that he would be very happy if Diplomatic Relations were created. He showed them where they would be staying for the next few days during the meeting which Sharyan was very grateful to him for doing. |

The private jet carrying the Whaladyan delegation landed shortly after the United Libyans touched down. The pilots opened the door and a ladder was sent to meet the small two man team. The delegation was headed by the Prime Minister, Ali Hassam, who although rarely saw eye to eye with the Emir, actually shared the same sentiment. Why should a land-locked country care about maritime restrictions? Regardless, the Emir sent Hassam to above all else monitor what his neighbors discussed. The second man on the delegation was the Emirate's Defense Minster, Omar Al-Whaladya. Omar was, if anything, a curmudgeon; a man who rarely left a positive lasting impression, but he had the hard-nosed attributes that were sometimes required of a man of his station. Additionally, he was the Emir's brother, and therefore, commanded immense power and influence. To make matters more interesting for the Whaladyan delegation, both men were openly hostile to one another. The fact that a fight hadn't erupted yet was a testament to their respect for their jobs, and nothing else. Hassam exited the plane with Omar keeping an appropriate distance behind and approached the gathering of international dignitaries. Hassam, having already met the Libyan Sultan, approached him and shook his hand. "It is a pleasure to see you again, your majesty." Sultan Sharyan smiled and responded in turn, shaking Hassam's hand. Omar rather quickly shook Sharyan's hand, but said very few words. Having greeted their allies, the Whaladyans then turned to their gracious hosts. "It is an honor to meet you, your majesty." Hassam said, shaking the Caliph's hand rather than bowing. "I hope we haven't interrupted your conversation." |

Just as Sharyan responded one of Suleman's adviser told them that the Whaladyan delegation was about to touch down. The private plane stairs dropped and out came Prime Minister Hassam and Defense Minister Omar Al-Whaladya brother of the Emir who was seen a hard-nosed military minister, who was respected by the Defense Minister Jabulah and Sultan Sharyan as a great leader. Hassam walked up and gave his greetings "It is a pleasure to see you again, your majesty." Which Sharyan gave his greetings back "It is also good to see you again Prime Minister Hassam" as he shook his hand. Sharyan shook Omar hand quickly and greeted him which was returned with few words by Omar.
