Glrch growled menacingly at the "witch", grabbed a bar of soap and jumped into the bath, fully clothed. He started scrubbing and rubbing creating so many suds that he disappeared. |

The dwarven priestess paid no mind to Glrch. She just continued murmuring under her breath as if in a trance. It was Glrch's second bath that day, and he didn't really need it, but still, the warm water felt good on his sore muscles. The gnome began feeling very relaxed and nostalgic, reminiscing about the many criminal exploits in his past and all the loot he had found and subsequently lost, and suddenly he remembered the ring he had found earlier that day in the depths of the mine. He felt his finger and realized to his horror that it wasn't there. Had he dropped it in the suds? Or did he lose it earlier in that barroom brawl? Or earlier still swimming in the lake? Perhaps that filthy hobbit had stolen it! He couldn't even remember the last time he had seen it. |

Glrch jumps from the bath, quickly strips off his clothes and wrings them out, then just as quickly gets dressed. "Damned hobbit must of stole it. I knew they were all thieves. I'm going to find him and cut his balls off." With that, he goes to the front of the bath house and demands from the desk clerk, "Who has the best ale in town?" He remembered that the hobbit liked to drink, so he'd start there and work his way down to the worst if he had to. |

The receptionist didn't even look up from painting her nails to say, "Hollow Hill." And with that, Glrch was off, stamping angrily east while behind him the red-orange sun approached the horizon. As he was walking across the great stone bridge just before sunset, a snappily-dressed dwarf stopped him. "Hey you! You're that gnome I'm supposed to find... Glurch, right? Stonebelly wants to see you. Where're your friends? Stonebelly wants all a'ya's to come to his feast. It's best not to keep him waiting." Edited by East Anarx, Feb 16 2015, 10:18 PM.

Now Glrch is furious! He wants to find the hobbit but he knows he must attend the feast (after all, it is a feast). So, after a few minutes of throwing a tantrum, prone on the ground and pounding his fists, he finally pulls himself together. He then looks for the dwarf and sees him heading off in the distance down the road north. He is probably looking for the rest of his trickster ex-friends. "Well, no sense following him", he says out loud to himself, so he heads off to get to Stonebelly's mansion. |

Glrch was greeted at the door of Stonebelly's mansion by another snappily-dressed dwarf. The curled tips of his long mustache bounced as he spoke, "Allow me to take your coat, sir." Behind the dwarf, Glrch could see a few party guests milling about socially, and a long table fully laden with food. Giant roast hams glazed golden and shimmering. Little cheeses and fine wines. Cakes piled high, and pies topped with cream. |

Pad hemmed and hawed for a moment. "It is a nice piece and I'm sure my comrade in arms would be willing to compensate me nicely for it. I'm not sure I could stand to part with it for a mere 110 gold pieces.." murmured the elf, thoughtfully. The helmet intrigued him, and Fenris would, no doubt, happily make use of it, but in the end, the ranger was just looking for another handful of gold. Edited by Al Araam, Feb 16 2015, 05:41 AM.

Glrch threw his cloak to the dwarf and immediately headed to the food. He was famished. Unfortunately, the tables were all to high for him to reach, so he grabbed a chair and noisily dragged it over to the table full of meats and bread. He jumped up on the chair, grabbed a good size loaf of bread, hollowed it out, and started stuffing it with ham and cheeses. Then, he grabbed a pitcher of wine, clumsily got back to the floor, and found a corner to enjoy his feast. A rather pompous-looking dwarf with a monocle eyed him with humor. "What are you looking at?" Glrch asked in a gruff voice. "A sight I don't see very often," the dwarf replied, and he laughed heartily. "Well, bugger off," Glrch replied, and went about drinking his wine and eating his sandwich. |

Keeping a respectable distance away from the smelly elf, a line of customers were impatiently tapping their feet, jingling their mail, or sharpening their battle axes, respectively. The blacksmith didn't change his stony facial expression as he repeated, "110." ~~~ Glrch nearly choked on a mouthful of ham when Tharv Stonebelly slapped him on the back in a jovial act of friendly violence. "Glirch, I'm so glad you could make it." The gnome commenced chewing the sweet ham and looking bitter as Stonebelly went on, "I really appreciate your help in clearing out my mines of those nasty wurms, and I might have another job for you... If you're interested?" |

"Ak, you almost killed me!", exclaimed Glrch. "As to your new job, seeing as my cheating comrades left me without a farthing after the last job I think I have little choice. What sort of work are you proposing? Slaying dragons? Storming a castle? I can do it all." |
